Born in**:Somewhere in a Nabata desert
Story***: Samuali was born with two parents and grew up in the sand. He lived with his parents only at day and spent the night exploring the shifting sands. He started to develop a eye for finding things, mainly dead things. When Samuali turned 12 he was spending more time alone than near any person. His parents became concerned over this and tried to guide him back. He took this as an insult and moved out.
When Samuali first moved into the desert he leaned first hand how hard it was to survive. He had never had to deal with the day heat before and he practically roasted. When night did fall he looked for the gold of the desert, water. He found only a dead body. He searched it and found not water but some strange tome with a fire bolt on it. He grew tired and dug a hole to sleep in, the ground stayed at a decent temperature at all times. When he woke the next day he saw that vultures had already found the corpse and was making short work of it. He pulled himself out of the hole and the vultures bounced away little started by his sudden appearance. One of the vultures was smaller than the rest and Samuali knew him. He had found the vulture in the sand and raised it himself. He was called "Scraps" after what he feed it. Scraps recognized the boy and flew directly over him. Samuali watched as Scraps circled him twice and flew off in a direction, then started circling a new spot after a little while of flight. Having nothing better to do he took off after the Vulture to see what it was circling. When he got there he found an oasis which he promptly drank from. As he enjoyed the water he knew he was not ready yet and headed back to the village.
Once he got back it was night and he easily snuck around to his destination, one the few people's house he was a friend of. He slipped inside the house and called to his friend, known as the Fox. The Fox was a old man who used to be nomad in the desert, till he met a young girl, got married and had children. His wife had died many years ago and his children had left long since, and that left him, a semi-crazy old man. The Fox was sitting down at his table and told him to come over. Samuali offered the book he found for survive skills in the desert. The fox accepted his offer, happy for the item and a chance to pass some of his knowledge up. Samuali continued this; working with Scraps the vulture during the day to find things and then using those things to pay Fox, until twelve months later, the Fox died. Samuali for the first time attended someone's funeral. After he paid his respect, he took his now vast knowledge of surviving to once more enter the desert and stay there, away from his town.
One day after his 14th birthday he was lead by Scraps the vulture to a group of dead traveling mercenaries. As he was inspecting the bodies and taking what he would find and use, he found on man still breathing faintly. He brought the man to his town, and much to the surprise of others, he nursed him back to health with the aid of the villagers. Samuali listened to the mercenary tell of his great battles and learned how to use a spear. One day the mercenary left and Samuali once more returned to the desert. This proved to be a grave error. On the second night a great sandstorm blew in and trapped him in a small cave and the sand buried the entrance. After 2 days he gave up and waited to die. However much to his the shock and disbelief he was dug out be the town's residents. Once he could walk he asked why they saved him and he was told that he always belong there and he was still a friend. As he turned 15 he announced that he was going to leave to earn some glory to repay the town. His parents gave him two boots made out of Snake skin that the mercenary gave to them as payment a year ago. With this boots and his promise he set out from the sand he knew so well, but still wears the desert on his boots.
About: Samuali is caring about others and tries to be kind. He loves sand dunes and his life in them made him hardy. He has no issue with deceased and even less of an issue of looting the corpse. His desire to help sometimes lands him in trouble. He also has an "urge" to search dead, something he picked up from looting corpses in the desert. He also has found that to others he is quite handsome.
