"Last time I took a drinking game I found myself twenty five years older than last time and with gods know how many bastards, Oichi being one of them. I'm just handling the logistics and possibilities of this trip in my head. I wasted all of my personal money on this, but I have... Contacts. If I die, and if Oichi survives, she can live up until thirty or so with the help of said contacts. Then there is the problem of ensuring she will turn out better than me." Oleg nodded, sipping his wine as he slowly made a smile to Rogus. "But thanks for asking. How's Kyle?"

I'm not sure, but the girls and a priest are tending to him, or should be. Rogus explained, and drank the rest of his whiskey, nearly the whole glass in a single gulp.
But of your contacts, I'd be honored to be among them if the need arises. Of course, the relationship would be mutually beneficial. I have contacts within the Lycian League, I could have her set up quite nicely in a noble's house as a ward.

"Good to hear. And what do you want? I have... Some webs all over the world. A few friends here and there... Gold I cannot arrange until we get to the fort. Name your price." Oleg nodded, still holding the faint smirk of a smile.

Price? A favor or two, access to your contacts perhaps. One can never have too many friends. Rogus winked, and ordered another drink from a waitress, another glass of whiskey.
If that isn't acceptable I'd be open to your own offers.

"My contacts are rather personal. I have done many things to gain them. Killing has been involved. Blackmail too. And all they have agreed to has been helping my daughter... I could give you something else, though..." Oleg closes in on Rogus, whispering to him. "I can give you Ingrid once this expedition is done. Some good old fashioned revenge should be in favor, mhm? I can get her to somewhere, and you get to decide what you do. Sound good?"

Askin' the wrong man, boss. I have nothing against her. Owe her quite a debt for sewing me up. Rogus shrugged. He sipped his whiskey.
What else ya' got pal?

"I could arrange you a empty fort after this deal is done... If you are up for having a fort." Oleg slowly stroked his chin. "I guess I could forward a word of you to some... More shady contacts, if you want help in gaining any work."

Both sound divine, and my word; Whether you perish or not, i can get Oichi into a noble house. He laughed and drank his whiskey.

"Mhm... I am interested in the potential of marrying Oichi to someone of higher status to keep her safe. Possibly even coax a possible maritenial marriage to get her her own small nobble branch. Mayhaps use some contacts to ensure a good living. Main point is... I do not want her to end up like me." Oleg nodded, sipping his drink. "I love her truly as a daughter. But I am not a good father. I might have been one once, but now things are different."

"Hmm." Ryu muttered. Everyone had run off. As he thought, he sat down in the corner and opened the book, letting the shadows of the unlit corner hide him.
The door opened, and Rogus entered. He sat with Oleg and began talking... Ryu couldn't hear. But it was fine. He didn't care enough right now. He didn't feel so well; mainly, he was tired and a little bit angry. He still wanted to explode at Ingrid. He did hope Kyle was okay. What was he feeling? Ryu didn't like that he cared this much about this whole matter with Ingrid. Usually he could just forget things, or find a way to get vengeance. But in this situation, he was held down and controlled by the hierarchy. Oleg. But Oleg was a fine guy... He seemed like he understood a bit of Ryu's position. But that meddling Oichi... He hoped she could clear things up at least. Her heart was in the right place.
Ryu's head was swimming. He needed some rest, and he needed a drink of cool water. Taking out his hidden flask, he drank a good half of the water in the skin, and chewed some herbs he kept on his person. Putting everything away, he was about to stand up when he heard Oleg's voice.
Damn. He couldn't get up; they'd think he was eavesdropping! Sighing softly, Ryu put his head against the stone and slipped into a light sleep. However, as he slept, his scythe tipped and spun downward, the metal hitting the stone floor and making a sharp ding, loud enough for anyone in the room to hear. Stirring, Ryu almost awoke, but instead merely turned his head and continued sleeping.

Oleg let out a slow grunt as he begun to write down some names onto paper. "Say, could you get a tally on the others to see if they are here and have gotten their rooms clear. Also check if you can see where that... Big guy we took went. Haven't seen him in a long time." Oleg nodded towards Rogus, continuing his writing, slightly tipsy from the wine.

Big man had something to do, heard him say he'd catch up Rogus nodded, and drank a bit of his next glass of whiskey. Time to leave? Great, treasure awaited! He heard the scrapng of the scythe against the stone floor, and turned to find his partner in crime snoozing on a table.
Well, there's one.

"Well might as well get back to my task", spoke Oichi as she began to walk around the town. She was looking for Ingrid. If she was going to put an end to this whole problem she was going to need to talk to all the sources. Ingrid was the last and from what she heard she thought she had a good idea of what happened. If she could get Ingrid to apologize to Near and have the two come to an understanding then the hostility can end. However she first need to talk to Ingrid about her side of the story. she had to be sure to get all the details before she came up with a compromise.
"Ingrid", shouted Oichi as she searched around the city.

He snickered as he approache dhis sleeping friend and sent a good natured kick to his gut. WAKEY WAKEY! He teased loudly.
He'd turn back to Oleg, I need to speak with my friend here for a short moment, if that is alright, I'll leave after to do as you asked.

"What the..." Ryu exclaimed as he was awoken by a rough kick. Grabbing his scythe, he rolled backwards and emerged into a crouch, only refraining from attacking when he saw Rogus.
"There are more polite ways of waking someone up than a kick, you know," Ryu said acidly as he shook the drowsiness off of himself like a dog shaking off water. Stretching, Ryu glared good-naturedly at his fellow thief. "So what's up? Normally, you don't go through enough effort to bother finding me, so something must have happened. Did you find treasure? Or maybe... You killed off our little 'problem?'"
Ryu's face contorted into a grimace as he stepped forward. "Meh. Shouldn't get my hopes up, I suppose."
