Burgid sat and watched as her identity form thirty minutes ago walked into the Inn. The inn keeper asked the lady that just just came in how see was and that he noticed that she found her bag. The lady told the man that she never lost it in the first place. The man exclaimed that she came in not a hour ago and said she lost her bag and needed a key to her room. Burgid smiled as the lady's face turned. That was her second favorite part of her act, her favorite was helping herself the the victim's valuables. Burgid got up and walked out with a slight grin listening to them argue.
She stopped and listened to a couple of guards talking about a rash of burglaries that had been going on, so where her doing, some were not. She continued on and pulled out a book she "borrowed" and read it as she walked. "Thief! Guards! Guards!" A cry broke out. Burgid looked up to see the book's owner shouting. She looked behind her and saw the guards running at her and the gates close. She took off running, she needed to find somewhere to hide.

Friedrich was perusing the goods of a street vendor when he heard the commotion. The city guards had been roweled up to what was apparently another thief on the run. He quickly made his way down the street towards the area of the inn where it seemed most of the racket was coming from and was just in time to see a a woman with lavender hair take off into the distance with several guards after her. "The gates are closed, thief! You've got nowhere to go!", a guard shouted, but it didn't seem to stop her from trying to escape capture. Figuring it would be no good to allow another annoying degenerate to roam free, Friedrich decided to try and head her off in the alleyways.

"Halt! You have nowhere to run!" Guards yelled vainly trying to stop her. She dashed through some open houses, trying to lose the trail of guards. The entire town was now active and it seemed that for every guard she shook, there was another running at her. As she ran over a bridge a guard met her, and slashed his weapon downwards diagonally in front of her, trying to stop her. As she drew near at the last second she drew her dagger and caught his blade, she then twisted it as she rammed him off the bridge into the water. Hope he can swim. She continued her flight though some alleys, where she picked up her kit. She had a little distance now and steeped into a different ally.
As soon as she made the turn she pulled out a band out of her kit and tied her hair back in one fluid motion, then pulled a jacket out and put it on, pulling the hood over her head. She then took off her pants and put a new pair of pants, flipped the kit inside out, changing its appearance and put her old clothes in it. She now was someone completely new in less than thirty seconds. She looked behind her and saw that there was a man there, though she did not know how long. "You didn't see anything bud." She said in a young male voice as she flipped a coin to him. She then walked out of the ally and told the guards that the thief had knocked him down and ran past the ally. She walked by as the guards continued their goose chase.

Catching the coin, Friedrich laughed to himself. "If I had two for every time mother and father...", he began thinking. He stopped from finishing the thought and quickly walked after her out of the alleyway. His pace increased as he tracked her down the street. The distinct hair color and tied band was all he was focusing on in the somewhat busy street as he closed in. Passing a young lady asking for charitable donations, Friedrich flipped the coin into her jar and turned to look at her with a wink almost in one fluid motion as he continued past. Finally close enough to the incognito thief, he drew his iron sword for its sheath and stopped just behind her. "Except I did see everything", he began with a smirk on his face. "A clever act, but you really ought to do something about that hair. And, a single coin? Please..."

Burgid heard steel being drawn behind her. She glanced behind her and saw the man from earlier holding a sword he just drew. She stopped just out of range of his blade and faced him, with her hand on her hip.
He went on a small rant with a smirk. "Except I did see everything. A clever act, but you really ought to do something about that hair. And, a single coin? Please..."
She guessed that he had seen her change, but she was long past the embarrassment of that. Though the blade made her uneasy. She responded in a cool young male voice. "Well, usually I charge a fee for that kind of show. Call it a discount. Now why don't you put that away before you draw more attention?" Her voice cracked on the word attention.
She waited a second then suddenly yelled out; "Guards! This man is threatening to kill me!" She then took off down an ally and made a turn into the underground tunnel systems. A guard near by came running, and saw the weapon the man had. "Drop your weapon!" He ordered.

The guard barked his order at Friedrich who, already frustrated at the incompetence of the guards and at the fact his shopping was interrupted, very quickly turned around and shot an intimidating look at man. Friedrich was taller and his nicer-than-most armor helped along with his build to give off an almost tangible presence. "I should think you ought to not even consider drawing yours at me. That he is a she and the thief. I could've easily proved it by getting her bag and showing the contents but you've made a damn fool of me and screwed it all up, haven't you?" Friedrich didn't drop his weapon, but only a damned fool would allow any level of anger or disappointment to have him turn it on a guard. He turned away from the guard and started towards the alley the predictable thief ducked into. "Damn peasant thieves are all the same; always hiding in their damn sewers like rats." The guard was startled at such defiance. "W-wait! I said s-stop!", he yelled again with a crack in his voice. Friedrich stopped in his tracks. "I've no ill will with you outside of your incompetence, guard. You're simply not stopping me. Go back to helping lost children to their parents or something more manageable." Friedrich had already lost enough time to being held up and immediately began sprinting down the alley leading to the waterway below the bridge. The small door into the sewers was ajar. He ran past the curious site of a guard being pulled out of the waterway rather comically before entering the tunnel.

Burgid walked into the sewers system and winced at the smell. She hated the place, but it had a way to freedom. She climbed up a ladder and walked on the catwalk. Unknown to her, she was leaving a trail of leaking water. She let her hair down as she continued into an empty dark room. She took two steps in and stopped. She could hear someone else in the tunnels and looked down to see a small pool of water. She tossed the leaking container into the middle of the room. She looked around and saw a crack large enough to crouch in, a little to the right and above the entrance. She acrobatically got into it and waited.

Burgid sat for a little then did a reality check. What was she going to do when they caught up? She hardly could fight, much less fight a sword with her dagger. She leaped off back onto the floor. Leaving the container she continued out of the city through the drain system. She loved the smell of freedom, or at least out of the sewers.
A large man picked up the container and crushed it with his bare hand. He was a bounty hunter known mostly as "Bad Luck". His prey had escaped him, for now. "I'm coming for you, Burgid. Run all you want but i will find you." With this threat he continued after the cold trail.
