"Alright keep the lance braced under your arm and charge forward", spoke Oichi to herself. It had been a while since her father left and the maiden was determined to find him. How rude of him was it to simply leave his daughter in the middle of the night without a word or reason. Using what little, which is close to none, skill Oichi had in tracking she followed her father to the boarder of Sacea. There she completely lost his trail and was left wondering where he was and what he was up to. Finally Oichi had given up on finding him at the moment and decided that she was going to have some practice. With all the school work and writing practice she was doing she had grossly neglected her combat training. Since she was already in sacea and the land was such good terain Oichi decided that she was going to have a little practice.
Unfortunately Oichi did not have anything to joust on. So the maiden of the steed was left to running spear drills with her horse. She began to ride up a hill and stab where she thought the enemy would be. It was similar to shadow boxing, but done with a horse and a lance instead. Still Oichi made sure she had come out pretty far away from people. She would be as red as a tomato if somebody actually saw her. She would look the total fool simply riding out over the plains stabbing at people who were not there and making sounds of battle.

Amaria, unlike Oichi, wasn't training, but more so travelling with the aid of her Wyvern. she'd only just actually left Illia so they hadn't been flying for long, which, in some ways could be considered good or bad. Not that it matters, in terms of where they were flying to, orriginally, Amaria wanted to take a look at Sacae, she'd never been there before, so she was curious about the region.
Currently flying over Oichis current location, it seemed that the border was close... Hopefully this doesn't go per badly, that wouldn't be good. Her Wyvern, noticing the girl training below, growled in order to alert Amaria. Based purely on where he was looking, Amaria took a glance towards the ground, noticing a girl seemingly trying to attack something... But... There isn't anything there? Is she hallucinating and trying to attack no existant enemies... No... She's probably just training or something, right? "So... What do you want to do now? Do you want to go down and investigate? Or should we just keep going?" Amaria spoke, her tone soft and gentle in nature as she spoke to the Wyvern, which as a response growled somewhat in the direction of the girl... He wanted to investigate. Smiling at her Wyvern, she spoke once again. "Okay... Could you please land there?" She spoke, causing the Wyvern to growl once again, not in an aggressive way, it was to acknowledge her request as being heard.
Flying down towards the ground, a moderate distance away from the girl on horseback, the Wyvern landed, however Amaria didn't get off right away... What if the girl did try to attack for some reason, in that kind of situation being able to get airborne quickly would be advantageous.

"And strike", spoke Oichi as she stabbed forward with her lance. It was a good thrust, but it was far from perfect. She knew she was going to need a lot more training before she could ever take that to the battlefield. In fact Oichi was surprised that she even lived this long. All those times she rode into battle fighting like a complete armature and praying she did not die. It was a testament to Oda's strength. The powerful war horse had saved her life on multiple occasions. As happy she was to borrow his strength Oicih understood she was going to have to become strong enough to properly defend herself and that strength could only be gained through training.
"Hiya", screamed Oichi as she stabbed her lance forward. As she turned on her horse she saw the Wyvern sitting on the ground. The maiden froze almost completely in place once she had seen the person. Her heart skipped a beat and embarrassment began to rush to her head. Quickly the maiden's face turned a bright red as she opened her mouth to speak.
"Umm how long have you been there", yelled Oichi back out to the rider. She prayed to the faith that they were not there very long, or that the person had just arrived. The idea of being seen while shadow fencing, which is the name she called her training, was embarrassing enough to almost make her head pop off. She truly looked a fool making sound affects and stabbing about.

Merely watching from a distance to begin with, Amaria and her Wyvern merely watched from at a distance... From the girls wording, it seemed more so she was training, that or she's hallucinating and speaking to imaginary allies... Then again, why would such a young girl be hallucinating?
Now watching the Horse she was riding on, it certainly seemed interesting... The strength and speed behind it's movements, something about it struck Amaria as it being something that one probably shouldn't annoy, otherwise one could be trampled easilly by such a strong looking horse if not prepared.
When the girl finally yelled towards Amaria and the Wyvern, he began to growl defensively, as if he was going to protect Amaria from the girl and the Horse, orders are orders, no matter the scenario or situation, his orders are to protect her, sure they're old orders, but they still stand. Seeing her Wyvern act protective, Amaria smiled gently and spoke to it in a soft, gentle way. "It's okay... I know you want to protect me, but... I don't think she means any harm" Amaria spoke to her Wyvern, and, while he still growled, it was less aggressively... It seemed as if she had calmed him down through such a simple action.
Now looking back to the girl who had yelled, she carefully looked at the girl, taking note of potential dangers, a sword and a lance... Well, swords are disadvantageous against a lance, so we'd be at an even match up unless she wants to put herself at a disadvantage using her sword. After her observations, Amaria spoke. "We only just got here, we were flying up above, and my friend here noticed what was going on Down below and wanted to investigate" she spoke, her tone kind in nature, as if to attempt to assure the girl that Amaria meant no harm.

Sarria scratched her head, messing her short hair up. "My heads really itchy today Jewel, I think that means something..." Her horse, Jewel, just trotted along, taking her master along for the ride, wherever they go. The waves of grass around them meant that they had traveled to the plains of Sacae. She took a deep breath, the smell of fresh grass filling her nose. "Ah, this is so much better than the smelly islands I used to live at. The Etruria landscape was nice, but this place is beautiful~ I don't think I'll ever want to go back home if this is what the rest of the world looks like." She pet Jewel's head as thanks for bringing her along, then closed her eyes for just a second to get some rest for the day ahead.
After some time, Sarria yawned and opened her eyes, looking ahead of her out across the vast plains of Sacae. "Jewel, where are you going? All I see ahead of us is a lizard and a dog..." She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and looked a little closer, seeing two people seemingly arguing about something. It was a little hard to tell from this distance, but she could just barely hear some yelling. She nudged Jewel to walk a little closer, which the horse was already doing, holding her staff out to show that she was a pacifist. "Helloo~? Does anybody need healing?" She smiles brightly and waves at the two girls.

Oh my lord, thought Oichi to herself. She had seen it. She had seen her practicing. It was so embarrassing. She probably thought her a mad woman, or at least thought she was soft in the head. At the moment Oichi just wanted to crawl into a corner and die. Well at the very least she was not laughing. If there was ever a light to shine on this situation that was it. Oichi tried to regain her composure.
I can pull this off, thought Oichi to herself. All I have to do is explain to her that I was shadow fighting. I am sure a wyvern riders like herself could understand such training. Wyvern riders were warriors. They understood that one needed to hone their skill with both mental preparation and physical muscle memory. All I have to do is clear my throat and speak in a clear tone. It is not too difficult of a task. "Well", spoke Oichi when another voice rang out. It was someone else. The maiden began to go into a panic once more as the crimson blush on her face, which was originally beginning to recede, suddenly flared back up.
"Does anybody need any healing", the young maiden shouted. Oh lord she is talking about me, thought Oichi. The maiden continued to panic. Oda moved a bit as Oichi slightly pulled on the reigns to get a better look. The other woman did not seem like a warrior. In fact Oichi was sure she was not. She had a staff which meant that she was a healer. Healers don't fight, and thus they don't need to install muscle memory or train their bodies for physical combat. That then meant she thought she was crazy swinging around and yelling like a mad woman.
"Umm", spoke Oichi she was now tong tied. The maiden quickly panicked and hit Oda's reigns. The maiden sent her horse into a gallop and began to ride off. I just need to get away, thought Oichi to herself as she began to ride off at full speed. The maiden was sure she was going to die of embarrassment.

This girl, well, she certainly seemed rather embarrassed... maybe she didn't want to be seen? sure, at first the girl seemed to be acting strangely at the first glance if one didn't get a better look, but now that one comes to think of it and from how she was speaking, it reinforced the presumption she was training... maybe she didn't want to be seen so that no one could take advantage if they saw mistakes or weaknesses? Or... maybe she just didn't want to be watched because it made her feel uncomfortable.
Hearing another voice and seeing the sudden panic befall the first girl, and her face become even more red... well, that pretty much confirmed that it must be primarily just embarrassment, usually having your face flare up like that means embarrassment. Now looking to the source of the other voice, Amaria immediately began to study the girl... well, she looks as if she'd be a healer of some kind, due to her staff... then again, surely couldn't those kinds of weapons be used offensively in some kind of capacity? anyway, back to the matters at hand.
Seeing the first girl ride off, Amaria acted immediately. "Can you please follow her?" She asked her wyvern, her tone soft and gentle as she did so, so that it understood it was a request that he could decline, and not an order. Growling, the Wyvern took flight, heading after the girl who had ridden away. Amaria, understanding she'd embarrassed the girl, had to find some way to apologize.

Upon closer inspection, the two girls didn't seem to be in an argument, but maybe sparring, she supposed? Either way, it would be nice to have some company, she hadn't really talked to anybody since her magic school, besides travelers that she healed. There was that one group of big, hairy men who were rather rough, but turned out to be nice fellows when she healed them all up. Anyways, it would be nice to have friends again.
... Wait, nobody was saying anything. She looked around and saw the two flying/running off into the distance. "Hey! Wait for me! Go after them, Jewel!" Sarria pulls on Jewel's reins and trots after the two, upset that they just took off without saying anything. That was more than a little rude of them to do. "Wait! I'm a good healer, really!" Her little pony had a lot of trouble keeping up with the wyvern and warhorse, falling further behind the longer the two keep moving. "Darn it..." She sighed sadly, thinking about how nothing ever seemed to go her way. First she was forced to go to magic school, then she was left to her own devices after that, with no idea what to do.
Though, the wind through her hair felt great. It was invigorating in a way. She wasn't just letting the wind take her wherever she was going, there was actually a reason to her actions for once. Those reasons were just a need for social interaction, but she had to start somewhere.

"Oh man that was close", spoke Oichi as she started to calm down. The maiden felt the cool wind in her hair. It was a good feeling. Still she was kind of rude to just simply ride off. Oichi started to piece together the seen in her head. She was acting very immature at the moment. Even if the other woman thought she was a bit crazy she could have explain the situation and everything would have been fine. "I am way to impulsive", she signed. It was only then that she heard the cry of a wyvern. Oichi turned and looked up to see a Wyvern flying over head. "She is following me", Oichi shouted as she pulled on the reigns of Oda commanding the horse to stop in its tracks. Oda gave out a loud cry as it rose up to its back legs.
"Whoa", she shouted as Oda nearly threw her off. It was then that Oichi saw the other woman as well. "What in the world was going on", she spoke to herself. She did not expect any of them to follow. Blood started to rush to Oichi face again as she started to think about what they thought, but the maiden beat down her emotions with her will power. Running away was not going to solve anything, nor was it helpful. Oichi was going to have to face this. She had been brave before in the past when she faced down Drax. Compared to that this was nothing. Still embarrassment was Oichi greatest weakness.
"Umm", she spoke as she looked up at the Wyvern. She had no idea what to say really. She had just ran off without a word or reason. "Hi", she spoke as she waved up at them. Her face was still red and her emotions flaring.

Amaria, now seeing the girl slow down to a halt, gently ran her hand along her Wyverns back, in order to get his attention. "Please slow down and land in front of her" Amaria spoke to her wyvern, her tone soft and gentle in nature, once again to show it wasn't an order, but a request that could be declined if he didn't want to. Growling, the wyvern flew down towards the ground and landed in front of the woman on the warhorse. Not climbing off her Wyvern as a precaution in case things did go sour, Amaria spoke towards the pink haired girl.
"Hello... sorry about embarrassing you earlier, that wasn't my intention" Amaria spoke towards the girl, trying to pick her words carefully in order to try and avoid making the situation worse. The wyvern now glanced backwards, spotting the oncoming small horse, it growled towards it in a defensive manner, as in to try and tell it to keep it's distance, at which point it's gaze returned to the war horse, sensible to do really, a warhorse certainly is more dangerous than a tiny horse and a healer.
At this point, Amaria was silent... how was this going to go, preferably well, but, never judge a situation before it properly unfolds, that and let your guard down. Sure the girl doesn't seem to be the greatest lancer, but it never hurts to be prepared, especially if you have an advantage of any form to use to your advantage in such a situation.

After a minute, Sarria and Jewel catch up to the two. Sarria panting a bit, looking tired as if she had been running herself. "That wasn't very nice... I'm not a bandit or anything, I promise! I even held up my staff, do I need a white flag attached to it?" She puffs her cheeks out at the two women before taking a deep breath, holding out her hand in friendship. "My name is Sarria, what are your names?" She was glad that they stopped at some point, but it was still annoying that they ran away to begin with. She briefly wondered if her breath smelled bad, but quickly dropped that idea. How could her breath be bad if she hadn't eaten since yesterday?
She took a better look now at the two women. The pink one looked a bit out of place, but also had the air about her that she'd always look out of place no matter where she was. Her face was almost as pink as her hair even. She certainly didn't look like a fighter even though she was holding a weapon like one. The other one looked a little bit like a soldier of sorts, a bit intimidating honestly. Especially with the big wyvern she was riding, it helped her look a little fierce. On the other hand, she seemed to be speaking fairly softly, she gave an air of gentle and fierce at the same time. "Are you two sparring?" Sarria asked without much thought of who the two were.

"I am sorry", spoke Oichi as she bowed her head. The maiden figured it was best to start there. She had caused these two to travel across the field exhausting their mounts because of her and her own cowardice at accepting embarrassment. This was not like her. Sure she was not the strongest person, but she should have not fled. It was childish and not becoming of a proud woman of Bern. Oh man if Iadra had saw her she would probably disagree as well. A woman should hold herself with class.
"I am truly sorry for that. It was rude of me. I was practicing in the field and I let my embarrassment get the better of me. My name is Oichi, and I am from Bern. To answer your question miss Sarria we were not sparing. I was originally practicing by myself. It is something called shadow fencing. You imagine your opponent in front of you and you do battle as if you were fighting them. It is a good way to prepare oneself for a fight, if you got into fights, but it is really embarrassing", spoke Oichi as her blush returned to her face.
"When you first arrived", spoke Oichi as she looked at the Wvern Rider. "I was dreadfully embarrassed and blood began to rush to my head. I think my cheeks probably gave evidence to that. However I began to gain a grip on myself and calm down, but when miss Sarria showed up it all came back in a flash. For a moment there I thought you all had saw me and called out a healer to take a look at me. The idea of people thining I was crazy was more than enough for me to burst from embarrassment. So I feel back to my base instincts and fled."

In silence, Amaria allowed the situation to play itself out, carefully listening to both of the girls while still remaining on her Wyvern, Zephyr. To begin with, she looked over towards this 'Sarria', in order to establish eye contact with the girl. "We're sorry for having to leave so suddenly without saying anything. As Oichi has already explained, no, we were not sparring, we were flying over the area, when my friend here noticed her training. he seemed somewhat curious, so, we landed in order to investigate, at which point Oichi noticed us, and appeared to become rather embarrassed at our presence since we had seen her training. Upon her leaving due to your arrival, I wanted to appologize for embarrassing her, so, we followed after her" Amaria explained her side of the story to Sarria.
At this point, Amaria now turned to look towards Oichi, in order to establish eye contact before speaking. "I can understand where you would have gotten that idea from, the timing of Sarria's arrival would have been rather convenient if that was the scenario. As for the training, I can understand, even if one lacks the physical targets, the mind is a powerful tool for visualizing such things" she spoke, before realising she hadn't properly introduced herself or Zephyr yet.
"My appologies, I should have introduced us two first, I am Amaria, while my friend here, is Zephyr" she spoke, gently motioning to the Wyvern when she mentioned Zephyr, in order to avoid any confusion.

"There we go, see? It was just a misunderstanding." Sarria smiled brightly at the two fighters, finally getting a feel for the situation. "Amaria and Oichi, huh? Are you two travelers too? I'm all by myself, but I don't really know what I'm doing. I'm too much of a follower I guess." She giggled to herself softly, happy to talk to somebody after so long.
"Shadow fencing, huh Oichi?" When she explained it, it kinda made sense. The only thing that didn't make sense was the whole not actually fighting people and swinging a weapon at the air. "But if you fight shadows all of the time, how do you fight people?" That was the one thing that really confused Sarria. Fighting imaginary people for fun made sense, but it didn't sound like it would work very well against real people, especially with a girl as timid as this. "You even ran away from us, when we aren't attacking you..."
"What do you think, Amaria?" She looked gently at the wyvern rider. "You look like you know more than me about this, I guess." Sarria spun her staff around idly, just a little excited to be meeting new people for the first time in quite a while. She barely looked like she could stop herself from fidgeting. "Isn't this fun and exciting Jewel? Real fighters for the first time. I bet they'll need healing, so we should follow them just in case." she said in not exactly the quietest voice.

"Yes Sarria I can see were you are going with that", spoke the maiden. "Fighting fake enemies is not the same as fighting real ones. I know that very well, but I would have you know I have fought real enemies before", spoke Oichi with some pride. "Though I can't say I did the best against them, but I have fought them. It is because I have fought real enemies that I am shadow fencing. When you fight everything is in the now. Things happen so fast both life and death. Most of the time you don't have the luxury to think and plan out all of your moves. You have to rely on your instincts. Shadow fencing helps install those instincts into you. Also I did not runaway", spoke the maiden as she turned her gaze from Sarria. "I just tactically withdrew. I just have a very low tolerance for emotional embarrassment."
"Speaking of lances and blades", spoke Oichi as she turned her attention to Amaria. "Amaria would you mind giving me a few pointers in the lance", asked Oichi. The maiden recognized the armor and knew Amaria had some skill in the weapon. Far better skill than she did. Oichi was not picky when it came to lance instruction. She took advice from anybody who was willing to give it. That included even mages if they had seen a few joust. Most of the basics with lance fighting was the same. The diffrence between a Wyvern and a horse was not that far, or at least in Oichi eye's it was not.
