After cooling down, I've decided to restart a new D&D campaign. However, there will be changes to the rules. First, what's the same.
1) Characters are not mind readers. As much as I know everybody is conditioned to explaining out feelings and thoughts, I would like to keep this as close to tabletop as we can. That means to consider what you would say in a real situation and say that. Things that others around you can see or interacts with the world.
2) Get along. No, this is not up for discussion. If your character antagonizes other characters or just is the cause of slowing down the session in general, you will be removed. By removed, I mean your character is gone. If you wish to rejoin, you will need to roll up a new character. Even demons and paladins can get along in a party so there's no reason for your characters not to.
3) Don't argue with decisions. Once it's said, it's what has happened. If you don't like it, leave. I hate having to do this but it sucks the fun out of it for me if I have to justify myself to a player. And if I'm turned into a joyless ass, it will likely end up reflecting in the rest of the RP.
4) Ideas and Input. You're welcome to give it if you like. I prefer it in PM form and may or may not use it. Non-PM ideas and input will be ignored on the basis of me needing a dated log.
5) NPC Behaviour. I know you can't be here all the time. So at the end of your character sheet, include basic things about how your character would act so I can attempt to emulate you while you are gone. While were on this subject, a quick PM of your expected absence time would be greatly appreciated as well.
These may be subject to change depending on what is asked and the like.
For the purpose of characters, you are free to use anything off of www.dandwiki.com/wiki/3.5e_Homebrew to create your character. Though keep in mind that stronger characters means stronger enemies. Characters will also need to be approved before being allowed to be used. I reserve the right to nerf/buff characters in order to better fit the campaign.
Stats will be a point buy system with all stats starting at 8, followed by your racial modifiers, then 36 points to spend however you like. No stat can exceed 18 at level 1 (Sorry)
Initial HP is Max + Con (Meaning a HD of d12 would be 12+Your constitution modifier)
Characters start completely gear-less unless if I give it to you.
