OoC: Takes place after council in What we do Best.
Selibas hurried out of the war room after a brief talk with The Symbol. He needed to speak with one of the other commanders. The one he'd first joined up with, Kelvin H. Calderon. It didn't take long to find the man, besides himself, Kelvin was the only one here who stuck out as a foreigner. The way he walked, or even held his face was different from every other man in the fort. Besides, he was not a wisp of a thing, or as short as the small chief. Selibas grabbed his arm lightly when he caught up to him, and waited for him to turn around. He smiled up at the larger man. It was good to see him. They hadn't spent too much time together, but the bull on horseback had felt like something of a kindred spirit. Larger than your average bear, and a kind outsider.
"Hey Kelvin, we haven't had a chance to talk since I got back. You weren't at Macendew when I left. How have you been? I've been alright besides the imprisonment." The little Sacaen joked with the Lycian, but he wasn't sure the man knew where Selibas had been, and did not want him to think he had deserted. The wolf listened as the man explained his own state before interjecting, "You know I fought a man in my latest raid that reminded me of you. He was too tall, and covered from head to toe in unnecessary armor. He was a bit slower than you, but it took a long time to bring a tower that size down. If all the Ilian commanders we face from here on out are that hard to fight, we're in for trouble. What about you, have you had any opponents that woke you up so to speak?" Truly, Selibas wasn't sure if Gregor had been as good as he thought, the wolf had not been at full strength when he met him. Before his fight with his father, and he thought with a slight sense of irony, Gregor's father, he'd be ready.
