In the Western Isles there is a mercenary group known for its skill and ferocity in battle. There deeds have been song by both pirates and sailors alike since the days of the great heroes of old. From generation to generation stories of there battles have shaken the great mead halls and have been song to the sea. This group is simply known as Vongola, The Vongola Mercenary Guild and unfortunately they have never been good. The mercenary guild was notorious for fleeing battle, suffering heavy casualties, and not completing jobs. Only the desperate and poor ever hired them and the laughter of there deeds have caused men to puke there own pants, and yes I said puke as in throw up all over there pants. Now Vongola is nearly dead. After generation and generation of lay about and failed jobs the guild was finally about to die off. Its last member Old Ivar was soon to kick the bucket. At a ripe old age of 72 and no a lad to take over he was sure the guild was done. Till the day they walked in.
"Excuse me", spoke Oichi as she walked through the door. The building was old and the floors creaked. Inside was a old job board that was covered with cobwebs and dirt. The maiden was not sure if she was in the right place. When she arrived in the Isles she was told that the Vongola guild would take anyone into there ranks. This beat down building was suppose to be there headquarter but, well it looked liked nobody had been in her for ages. "Is there anybody here", spoke Oichi as she took another look around
"No this is not a chicken mill", spoke a old man as he walked out from the back. "This is the Vongola headquarters the oldest mercenary guild in history."
"Umm", spoke Oichi as she looked around. It was clear that nobody was coming in here regularly. She wondered if she was in the right place, or if the place actually had any jobs.

... So a request for The Vongola in the Western Isles eh... is say between merchants that they are poor and almost dead, but money is money and they send a ship to help The young man say while in the boat looking at the horizon while siting on the edge of the boat holding the railing over his head, he was on upper-floor of the boat with the captain, even if the boat was bit small it was still being functional.
Good luck that I don't have seasickness, I'm quite enjoying this view and this wind... but bad luck that I am surrounded by people who do not know and not to mention the smell, seems like they don't bathed in years.. although they live in the sea so it could be worse .. or I also in need of a bath? -" boy wake up, we have arrive" say the captain looking at Chitaru, and as he hear that words he woke up and go for the thing requested by the Vongola's boss, some vulnerarys, some swords and some axes, all is here -"Ready to go" -"Good 'cause this ship won't come again before two days, well see ya" the captain say while the boat start sailing, -"WHAT!? NO COME BACK HERE!"...haa f*** i have no choice and like that he start searching for the Vongola headquarters with three backpacks in his back careless my feet.
He search for a while but after some questions and some runs for the pirates he finally found what he was looking, the Vongola headquarters, ....This. is. a. piece. of. crap.... will they really pay me? well whatever my back hurts and i need were to sleep he think as he enter the old building -"No this is not a chicken mill" Hmm?.

"Quit talking to yourself old man!" Arryn yelled from his room down a hall. He had been here nearly a year and was getting tired of the old man's company. He had a habit of mumbling and proclaiming the former greatness that was the headquarters. From its current state, Arryn had no doubt he was lying. Arryn had no intention of staying with him for so long, but he owed the man a life debt and the moment he croaked, Arryn was out of there.
In the mean time, he stayed in the building with him, did the chores and the odd job in town here and there. Stepping out into the main hall, his hair disheveled and his current outfit singed from a recent smithing job, Arryn noticed the pink haired woman. "Oh... what do you want? If you're here to rob us, we've got nothing of value. That and I'm an excellent swordsman."
He immediately regretted saying that. He only now realized he left his sword in his room. He couldn't exactly run down the hall to get it either, not if this woman was actually there to rob them. Arryn couldn't risk the old geezer's life, not while he was still indebted to him. Although if he did die...
Urgh no. Can't do that, he thought to himself. "Maybe you don't have anything of value..." Ivar insisted. "Do you want her to rob us?" Arryn let out a loud sigh and shook his head. "Well? What do you need? There isn't exactly anything here."

Oichi was surprised when two people seemed to walk out of nowhere. It was truly strange. The place looked like nobody had been there for years. After taking a good look at them it dawned on the madden the reason. They were guys, men were always filthy. When she lived with her mother in Mark's Town there house was always as clean as a blade. Everything was polished, neat, and in proper order. When she lived with her father, everything was a mess. She would have to clean up every day and make sure he did not leave dirty equipment out. The same seems to have gone on here, but for quite a long time.
"Steal", spoke Oichi with surprise. "I have not come here to steal anything. Actually I came here to join the mercenary guild, but.." Before Oichi could utter another word the old man sprung into action.
"Oh really young girl", he spoke as he put his right arm around her shoulder and began to drag her toward a side room that clearly looked like a office. "Well young lady you have not made the wrong choice. The Vongola guild is the oldest and culturally rick guild in all of the Western Isles and possibly the world. Sure we have fallen onto some bad times in the past, but it does not matter. What really matters is the strength of your arm and the tenacity of your soul."
"Umm", spoke Oichi. It was all she could get out before the old man pressed a ink pad onto her finger and stamped her thumb print onto a piece of paper. He then began to fill out the form and registration himself occasionally asking her one or two questions. The maiden was so sweeped up into it that she barely realized what was truly going on. It was true that she was looking to join, but she wanted to spend some time to think about it, but the old man took that option away. With a quick charge of 50g for the registration office Oichi was officially made a member.
"Here", spoke the old man as he tossed her a old iron key. The old geyser placed on a checkered hat and began to walk out the door. "I am heading down to the registration office to file this paper work with the city. Your room is room number 1. Make yourself comfortable for the day and I will get with you later about jobs."
With that he moved to leave till he saw the young merchant son Chitaru. "Hmmm, would you happen to be the young merchant boy that was suppose to be coming by." The old man did not even wait for him to answer. He had already decided that he was and as a result in his mind he was the person he was thinnking of even if he was not. "Well wait inside till I return from the office. As the runts to show you around", he spoke as he turned toward the two already in the guild hall.
"Hey show the newbie and the guest around for a bit", he spoke as he disappeared into a crowd.
"What just happen", spoke Oichi as her brain finally caught up to the moment.

He low his bow seeing that there was no danger and watched how the Vongola leader took advantage of the poor woman indecision to have more members "So is like this how Vongola have more members... does not impress me they have this reputation, well it seems that this happens for people like him, no one will join a guild what do everything to make you enter.. things like say the same thing over and over again or this, leaving that aside this is a bad strategy see it how you like".
While Chitaru was thinking the Vongola leader approach him -"Hmmm, would you happen to be the young merchant boy that was suppose to be coming by.", this wake up Chitaru and in 1 second he made a reverence -"Oh yes sir, Singing Steel Armory hopes that you be happy with your purchase and use our services again soon, it would be abo-"-"Well wait inside till I return from the office. As the runts to show you around" "SOON OF A ****!, YOU DON'T KNOW HOW ANGRY I'M AND HOW I HATE DOING THAT!", his face almost turn red for anger, the Vongola leader face the other two -"Hey show the newbie and the guest around for a bit" spoke as he leave the place.
"I'M SURE AS HELL I HEARD HIM LAUGH!, HOPE YOU DIE!", Chitaru turn around and enter the building seeing no choice and as he enter he could see the troubled face of the woman -"What just happen"-"You got trick and robbed at the same time" he say feeling pity for she and himself at the same time.

"Wait." Arryn had his hands up in a vain attempt to get Old Ivar's attention. But all the old man heard was "...join the mercenary guild..." when suddenly he was filled with an amount of life and energy Arryn hadn't seen before. The thought of having another member join the guild lifted the old man out of a complacent funk. "Don't force her to join ya old goat." But it was too late. Ivar was out the door with her thumb print and 50g for the registration. Ivar certainly moved fast for someone his age. Arryn's hands were wiping his face in a combination of stressed and embarrassed.
"Hey show the newbie and the guest around for a bit." Arryn could hear the old man say as he vanished into the bustling crowd. Guest? A fellow red head had also entered the building, standing near the pink haired woman. Letting out an audible sigh, he decided to obey his orders. "You, the guy with all the equipment that I'm assuming the old man bought without telling me. Take a seat. If you want something to drink, well, please hesitate to ask." Arryn pointed to the oak bench. It was covered in dust but it's not like it mattered. No one ever used the main hall for dining anymore. With just the two of them, Arryn often ate in his room.
"And Miss... whatever. I'm not going to take you to room 1. By the look on your face, this isn't exactly what you were expecting when you came in. If you leave now, I'll convince the old man you were a part of a figment of his imagination. I'll even go to the registration office myself and handle the paperwork. It'll be as if you were never here." He shrugged his shoulders and began tapping his foot. If she joined, it would mean that the guild would have to start taking actually jobs instead of the occasional bouncer or smithing work he had to do to make sure the pair stayed alive.
"Besides, I'm pretty much here against my will, this guy" Arryn said, now pointing to the fellow redhead."He's here because his job put him here. You still got a chance."

Oichi sat there for a moment taking in all that happened. It was quick, decisive, and over before she even knew it. The young man with red head told her she was robbed and in a sort of way she was. However Oich came here to join the guild and join the guild she did. It was not what she expected, but it was a new home for her. The maiden desperately wanted to get away from the main land, away from all her bad memories, and the tragedy of her past. Starting over here would be good for her, and it seemed it would be good for the guild as well. The old man seemed desperate for members and his actions showed it. Also the condition of the guild hall showed it as well.
"No", spoke Oichi suddenly as the maiden came out from her internal thought. "I think I will stay", she spoke as she took her bag and set it down next to a wall. From her back she removed Wutaka, her thick Katana blade. The sword was designed to cut clean through armor, making it a rarity for those type of blades. Normally Katanas were more fragile or of poor quality. However Wutaka was not a simple shop bought sword. It was commission by her mother before she died, and only recently it was finished. The sword was of the finest quality.
"I came here to look for Vongola and I found it. It is a good chance to start over", spoke Oichi as she grabbed a bucket and walked outside. The maiden soon returned with it full of water. "Where are the rags", she spoke as she began to look around. Rather than search for one she took one out of her bag and began to use it instead. The maiden dumped it into the water and then began to clean up the main hall. If Oichi was going to stay here the place at the very least better be clean. Her mother was not one for grime and dirt and Oichi was no different. "So can somebody explain to me why the place is in such a mess", she asked as she began to scrub away.

-"Please you don't need to be generous i will do it myself, you seem yo be soooo tired for all you work" Chitaru sit down in the bench leaving under and at the side of the bench the backpacks looking all the time at the redhair fellow with an indifferent sight.
So the old man has bad memory.. maybe i get what i need to go back today, but if he is here when that happens all will go to hell... he lay down in the bench and put his right hand under his head to help him think -"AaaaCHIS" ...that wasn't a good idea at all he sit down properly and use his handkerchief to blow his nose, he put his handkerchief in his pocket and look at the other two.
The redhair fellow was pointing him -"He's here because his job put him here. You still got a chance." -"Ugh.... ACHIS" I going to stay up for now on he think while trying to stand up.
-"No" hmm? -"I think I will stay" she left his bag aside and removed the katana of his back, Start over? she go out with a bucket and come back with water and in seconds she started cleaning -"miss slow down please, im still here and the dust won't go anywhere" he take his backpacks and put them in his back -"So can somebody explain to me why the place is in such a mess"-"That's because of the infamy of Vongola, no jobs, no money, no people... or at least that's what i thi-ACHIS, crap".

Taking a bucket and filling it with water, the maiden asked for a rag, to which Arryn responded with a lazy shrug. Proclaiming her intention to stay, he shook his head in disbelief. He didn't think anyone would volunteer to stay, especially considering the condition of the building and the state that the guild was in. But she seemed determined to stay. He doubted she'd actually decide to clean the place without the long term intention of being there. With that, he dunked a rag into the bucket of water.
"Since we're going to be guildmates, my name's Arryn. How about yours?" He began to wipe away at another table, his back to the new pair. "And you, sneezing guy. What's your name?"
After only a few minutes, Arryn let out a groan. It's not that he disliked cleaning, which he did, but that he didn't like having to clean the entire main hall. Then eventually the side halls. The kitchen. The rooms. You couldn't do one without having to clean the rest. It was a big building and Gods know how long it would take. But maybe it won't be so bad, he started to think. More people means more jobs, which sucks, but more jobs means more money. Before he knew it, he had finished wiping the top of the table.
The salesman was sitting still, his backpack still on. The maiden's own stuff was on the table, a blade that seemed almost new resting there as well. "Before this goes any further, how about I show you both the rooms? You can get your stuff in there and out of the way and I the rooms are at least less dusty than out here." Arryn gestured towards the Eastern hallway, as he continued to clean.

"Infamous", spoke OIchi with surprise. "When I got to the isles everyone recommended it too me. It could not be that bad if people were encouraging me to go." The young man's words made Oichi think for a moment. Why would people recommend her a place that was bad to go to. She had heard the Isles were filled with scoundrels and cut purses, but she did not expect the story to be true. She was going to have a rough time getting use to living here. Back in Bern people were a bit more straight forward, but then again back in Bern somebody attempted to drug her before. People would always be people, that was the best way to look at it.
"Oh I have not introduced myself", spoke Oichi as she stopped cleaning for a moment. She was sure she did, but then again everything happen so fast. If she did not how was the old man going to register her in the registration office. Oichi could feel something bad on the horizon. "Well since we are going to be guild mates then we should properly introduce ourselves. My name is Oichi. I grew up in Bern and has lived there for most of my life. I spent some time in sacae for a short while and then ended up coming here." Oichi then moved back to scrubbing the mantle of the center fire place. She only stopped after Arryn suggested showing them to there rooms.
"Right I should at least put my stuff down", spoke the maiden as she stopped whipping and placed her rag on a dry spot that was not made of wood. She then walked over and grabbed her sword and bag and began to move toward the eastern hall. "So which number was I again", she asked. Oichi had forgotten thanks to all the cleaning she was doing.

"Apparently you're in room one. I'm down the hall a bit in five." Arryn raked his hair with his hand and began to walk down the hall. Walking down the hall, he realized that he could see clearly into his room. His very messy room. Running now, he quickly got to his door and closed it. "So this is my room." He was breathing heavy now, out of breath. He had just gotten out of bed a few moments ago after all. "And you're over... here."
Making his way back to room one, Arryn opened the door to reveal a simple room covered in dust. There was a single bed, a small chest on the end of it and a nightstand. A candle was still there, clearly left from the previous tenant, however long ago it was. He was glad that there weren't any vermin that he could see. When he first bunkered down in his room, he found what he assumed was a nest for mice. With all the droppings and the mice scurrying away when he first opened the door, it felt like a safe assumption.
"The other guy can take room two." Arryn pointed to the room across from hers. "Now if you don't mind, I'm going to head back over to the workshop. I have some tools to repair" Heading back into the main hall and turning into the kitchen, Arryn grabbed the ladle and drank some water. He actually did have to repair some tools and he had every intention to do so. If she wanted to clean, that's fine.
Wiping his mouth, Arryn made his way over to the workshop. He could feel the heat from the forge emanating from the room as he drew closer and closer to the door. Letting out a loud sigh, he went into the workshop and grabbed the fork and hammer, ready to do some mending.

"Alright", spoke Oichi as she followed behind her new guild mate. Suddenly however he shot off and closed a door. The jester at first confused her, but after a moment of thinking she realized what was going on. It was his room and whatever it was in the room he did not want her to see. It was none of her business about what he had in his room, but she could not help, but be curious. A little bit further and Oichi reached her own room. It was, well not well kept. The bed looked old and dust filled every corner of the room. Before she could even begin to clean the main hall she was going to have to take care of her own living space. "Thank you Arryn", she spoke as he began to walk away. "I am going to need another bucket", she spoke as she walked back to fetch more water.
Oichi threw herself at the room for quite a while. First she began by sting, and then by sweeping. After that she brought in the rags and removed the old blanket. She then took out the mattress, which had mold under it, and drugged all the old stuff outside the guild hall. Taking her bag and her sword with her Oichi walked off to the market to buy another mattress and some replacement furniture. She could not afford something expensive, but she could buy something decent. At the very least it did not have mold growing on it. By the time she returned the old guild master was already back. He was talking to the other fella who came by ship. Oichi simply snuck back in and began setting up her room. After three hours of cleaning and work she finally got the place to look decent. Well decent as you can get with three hours of work. She still needed to repaint the walls and add in some paintings, but that could wait.
Next was the main hall, but Oichi decided she was going to put that off till tomorrow. "Is there anything to eat around here", spoke Oichi as she walked out the door. She hoped somebody would answer thought she could guess the response by the poor quality of her room.

The heat from the forge practically melted him. He was not a big fan of the burning that radiated from it, but he had a job to do, he had a mouth mouths to feed. Arryn had already finished mending the horseshoes and was taking the time to improve his own smithing skills. He had melted down a few broken iron swords that traveling warriors had given him. The money he had made from repairs allowed him to purchase an old cast from a different smith.
Arryn emerged from the workshop after a few hours, a new iron sword in hand. The old man was back and was speaking to the new guy. Taking the sword, Arryn went to the training yard in the back, eager to test out the blade. The hilt didn't fit over the tang as properly as he hoped, the blade itself jiggled slightly with each movement. Even then, the blade wasn't quite as sharp or straight as he wanted it to be. Either way, it was a nice first attempt.
Swinging the blade at a training dummy, Arryn chipped away at the wood. He knew how a blade should feel in a swordsman's hand and, even though it was a little off, this blade was close. The balance and overall shape, at least, were right. He knew that he wouldn't get it completely right the first time but he hoped that he would at least produce something he could make a profit from. This blade was definitely not going to make any money. However, he could use it for training.
He desperately needed to train. Now that Vongola has actual members, they'll start getting actual jobs. Arryn had been too complacent with training lately and he was determined to not make a fool of himself. Coming back inside, he scoured the kitchen in search of a meal. Not finding anything, he sighed loudly. Walking over to room one, Arryn knocked on the door. "Hey. I've gotta deliver some horseshoes. Do you want to come with? We can stop by someplace and get a hot meal. Gods know we're not going to have one here."

"Oh just in time", spoke Oichi as she turned the corner. The maiden was looking for some good to dine on, but the place seemed, well empty. That was another thing Oichi was going to have to fix here. If it was suppose to be a guild hall then they should have some food in storage. What were they going to do if there was ever a food shortage. People don't always sell food. Vongola was far to complacent. Then again after hearing the history of the place she should not be too surprised.
"Your delivering horse shoes", spoke Oichi with some surprise. However she was not going to question it any more. "Well let me grab Wutaka and I can help you out", spoke the maiden as she grabbed her Katana off the wall and placed it onto her side. She made sure to tighten the strap connecting it to her belt. The western Isles was full thieves and more than once somebody attempted to steal her precious sword. "Sorry for the wait I am ready to go", spoke Oichi.
While the maiden waited for Arryn to get his stuff together everything started to dawn on her. Oichi was about to go out and eat with a boy. A guy who was probably around her own age. The maiden's face started to turn a little pink as she realized that the two of them were about to go on what could be considered a date. It would be Oichi's first time. Sure she was offered to go onto a date plenty of times back in Mark's town or when she was singing in Inns, but she always denied them. Dating was never really a thing for her. She was more concerned with improving her singing skills back then and after that she started to focus on her skill with the blade. Relationship with the opposite sex, other than people flirting with her, was something new to her. The maiden was not sure if she was ready for this or even the idea of it. The more she thought about it the redder her face became and the more nervous she became about the meal.
"Oh wait I will come too", spoke the old guild master as he finished his conversation, and like that Oichi's foolish fantasy disappeared. The blood quickly dissipated from her face and her mood went back to normal.
"Figures", she whispered to herself as she let out a sigh of relief.
"Well lets celebrate the arival of the new guild mate", spoke the old man as he reached into his pockets. He first counted the amount of money he had and then turned back to the young ones. "I will pay for tonight. Just know you have a 15 gold limit", he spoke with a smile on his face.

The pink haired maiden seemed to question the fact that he was delivering horse shoes. Arryn shrugged it off and went to the workshop. Tossing the horseshoes (how many exactly, he wasn't sure) into a small crate, he lifted it up and made his way back to main hall. The money from this job would be enough to pay for their meals and then some. Stepping back in, Old Ivar exclaimed his desire to go with them.... and his willingness to pay. Well, at least I can pocket the gold from this then. He smirked to himself. More money to fund the smithing side job. He needed to get better at it. Somewhere here had to be able to repair weapons and armor.
Ivar was leading the way out of the headquarters and through the city. Arryn wasn't sure where he intended to dine, but as long as he's paying, it didn't quite matter. Coming to a stop, Arryn called ahead to the rest of the group. "The delivery's down this street here. Keep going, I'll catch up!" He was jogging now, the crate of horseshoes bouncing in his arms with the small clanging of the metal echoing around. He arrived at a wooden building attached to a fenced off area. The strong odor made it fairly obvious where he was, the stables. Placing the crate on the ground, Arryn knocked on the door."Delivery! I've got the horseshoes!" He knocked on the door again when a loud booming voice responded.
"Yeah, yeah. Hang on a second." Arryn could hear the man come closer and closer to the door. Swinging open, Arryn could see the client standing before him. It was a short, stout man with a large mustache coming down below his chin. His head was bald and shined in the light of the fireplace. "Thanks lad. What was the deal? 2 gold pieces a horseshoe?" He took out his coin purse and began counting.
"Yeah. That'll be 80 gold." Arryn lifted up the box and handed it to the stout man. "Right right, here ya go." Taking the small crate, he held it against his chest with one hand. With the other, he gave Arryn the 80 gold. "Thanks again lad. Much appreciated."
"No problem. Vongola is here to take on any job you have. We've recently expanded so don't be afraid to call on us." Smiling, Arryn nodded and walked away, pocketing the gold. He made his way back to where he last saw the group, rubbing his face at the same time. Smiling and being so polite felt like such a hassle. Bruno, that was his name, was a regular customer.
Arryn walked to where he thought Old Ivar was planning on taking everyone. Gold in his pocket and his sword on his waist, Arryn practically skipped over there. The day wasn't going so bad.
