Once the door opened, everyone saw the bonewalker and Orcleous slamming it into the next door house. Claira and the survivors ran out with Claira taking the lead. Going back the way they originally came in from, they reached the hole without much trouble. But after the last female went running through the hole, Claira heard the sounds of bones walking close. Looking left, she saw a bonewalker coming towards her with an Iron Sword. Taking the Silver sword out she ran towards it. That's when it began to shake itself.
Doing a vertical slash at it, the bonewalker brought up its sword and blocked Claira's attack. The thing pushed her back with little effort. The thief stumbled backwards a bit but got her footing as the bonewalker came at her swinging. Jumping to the side she strived slashing it and watched her blade go right through the gaps of the rib cage. She was use to fighting living beings. Not Skeletons. Moving away from it, she had to rethink her strategy and quickly. It came charging her again, but it had the flat side aimed at her. It was going to bash into her.
When she embraced herself and leapt to the side, the skeleton saw it and slashed her left arm. Being angered by the sudden rush of pain, she swung the Silver sword heavily. The silver blade sliced through the air and cleaved through the Skeletons skull, making it fall apart. While trying to control her breathing, she heard more coming towards her. Looking around the path near the wall, Claira saw at least five of them coming to here. So she ran back towards Orcleous. When he would see her, She would yell to him.
"Not that way!" Then the sounds of the marching bones coming from the direction of the way she came from. By the sounds of it, it sounded like a platoon was heading their way.

"You have to be kidding me", spoke Orcleous as he saw Claira come running back to where he was. The fact that she was here meant that the plan had went south and the sound coming from behind her told him of trouble on the rise. They were going to have to improvise. "Alright follow me", shouted Orcleous as he took a sharp right and moved toward the main street. The hero took notice of the wound on her arm. it seemed giving her that sword was the right choice after all. If she got wounded using a longsword he was sure she would have gotten worse with a dagger. Then again maybe the sword was holding her back. You never really know till you got into the situation.
As Orcleous pushed into the main street he was meet with a image he could not imagine. Corpses littered the road like stones in a quary. There bodies where scattered about and hacked up with great malice. So this is what Claira saw, thought Orcleous to himself as he remembered the maiden's facial expression. The was like a scene out of hell itself. Orcleous could only wonder how horrifying it was when it first happened.
As Orcleous stared out at the image before him two of the bonewalkers rushed forward to attack him. The hero had let his guard down and let them get to close. As the first one struck out with its sword Orcleous panicked and jumped back. It was enough to dodge the blade, but the second walker was already on him. The creature rushed forward with its blade and slashed down at the hero. Orcleous raised his shield in defense and blocked the blow. However the force from the attack began to eat into wall of wood and leather. Cutting pretty deep into the wood the Bonewalker's sword caused a crack to start to appear. It was a great accomplishment, however it was detrimental to the Bonewalker.
"D##$ beast", shouted Orclous as he quickly turned his shield and ripped the weapon out of the monsters hand. Slamming his shield back into the body of the Bonewalker Orcleous moved in to finish the job. However the second walker had recovered and rushed in to attack itself. The creature came at Orcleous from his right side attack with his blade. The hero was forced to block with his sword stopping the monsters blow by blocking with his gladius before it reach full swing speed.
As Orclous pushed back against that creature the first got back onto its feet and attacked again. Its blade was looking to exploit a weakness in Orlcous guard. The creature ran forward and stabbed its sword forward. The blade bounced off the edge of Orcleous shield and stabbed into his chest. The plate armor took the blow and stopped it from piercing the warriors heart. However the force of the attack knocked the wind out of him and caused him to trip and fall onto the ground.
'That is why you wear armor', thought Orcleous to himself as he attempted to recover. Rushing to finish the hero off the second Bonewalker swung its greatsword down trying to take off Orcleous head. The hero rolled over dodging the blow and got back to his feet. However the assault was not over yet. The first Bonewalker struck out again with his blade. His vertical slash cut into the shield and further deeping the wound upon it that its first blade started. The other bonewalker rushed in to attack following the same pattern they did last time.
"Enough", shouted Orcleous as the Bonewalker swung its sword. Channeling into the natural energies of his body Orcleous swung his gladious with the full power of smite. The blade slammed into the Bonewalker's sword and sent the blade flying back towards it. The force caused the sword to shatter the bones it was made up of vanquishing the creature. Orcleous then turned his focus back onto the first. As the creature moved to try and stab at the hero Orcleous rushed forward with his shield. The blade hit the wood and stopped. Orcleous pressed forward sending the creature moving backwards. Its legs tripped over a coprse on the ground and its head fell against the rock and shattered.
"D#$% bonewalkers", spoke Orcleous. However the hero had no time to recover. Two more of the creatures moved to assault him. From the five that moved to kill the maiden two of them had been vanquished. Once Orcleous had whipped them out two of the three that where aiming to corner Raven moved off to face him. Funny how that worked.

Following was all she could do until they reached the site that she saw earlier. And Orcleous was fixed on looking at the Carnegie that laid before them. That all changed when the five came to attack them. Two went after Orc while three went for her. Splitting them apart. Claira had her sword aimed and ready as she slowly backed up. One came lunging with a steel axe. She slid herself to the side and brought the sword crashing down onto its arm, slashing down through the shoulder. The axe fell to the ground. With its free hand, it grabbed her by the arm and tossed her aside like she was a rag doll.
Where she landed, she didn't want to be because she was now amongst the dead bodies in the dead center. The silver sword got knocked out of her from the impact of hitting both ground and bodies. Quickly standing up, she pulled out her Iron Sword. When she looked at her foes, she saw two of them going after Orcleous. The third one picked up its axe and ran after her. Instead of running, she ran towards it. With the sword up, she saw it begin a down ward chop. Running her sword across the axe, she was able to divert the aim of its blow and rammed her blade into its skull.
When this one fell apart, she looked at Orcleous and saw that his tower shield was in bad shape. Looking at her feet, she saw different items and the only thing that could really help him was a kite shield. Grabbing it, she whistled out loud and threw it as hard as should could at the skeletons going after her friend. She wasn't going to count on that shield to do anything much. The thief tan towards them. But one of them turned and had its iron lance fixed on her. Lunging it towards her. She tried to move out of the way in time but the lance got her in the left shoulder, piercing the pauldron. Claira screamed out in pain.It lifted her up and flung her back to the bodies. It hopefully bought Orcleous time.

The two bonewalkers began there assault. The first came at him with a sword and the second with a lance. The first bonewalker slashed at orcleous. The her opted to side steap the creature instead of trying to block it. As he did the one with the spear rushed into try and run him through. Moving up his shield Orcleous blocked the blow, but the creatures force pushed him back. Shifting his shield toward the right Orcleous changed the angle of the surface causing the spear tip to slip to the side. The sword carrying Bonewalker rushed in to attack with a great swing. Orcleous attempted to block, but the blade overpowered him. His block slowed the blade, but the sword slammed right down onto his shoulder armor doing a good bit of damage. Orcleous expected the lancer to run in and attempt a critical blow, but instead it seemed to have gotten pulled off by Claira.
No longer having another wolf at his back Orcloeus found the fight to be a lot easier. Though the blow to his shoulder weaken his right arm. The creature swung its weapon again slamming into Orcleous shield. That blow did it. The cracks from earlier combined and the shield crumbled as Orcleous fell to the ground. Pulling once more for a swing to finish Orcleous off the beast got complacent. It pulled back just too far and as a result Orcleous was able to counter. Like a viper Orcleous shot up. His attack was powered by both fear and adrenaline as he stabbed the gladius into the skull of the creature. The blow sent its bone body falling to its knees as Orcleous was able to catch his breath.
As Orcleous soaked in the much needed oxygen he saw Claira being stabbed in the shoulder by the length of the lance. "D@#$", shouted Orcleous as he rushed forward. Throwing his gladious aside he picked up the steel greatsword one of the bonewalkers from earlier was using. "Hey", shouted Orcleous grabbing the monsters attention. The creature turned around to see Orcleous swinging the greatsword down toward it. The beast raised the shaft of its lance in defense, but it did nothing to stop the power of Orlcoeus blow. The greatsword cut through the wood like a hot knife though butter. The bladed edge went down and split the creature upper torso into two.
"Claira are you alright", asked Orcleous as he came up to the maiden. Stabbing the greatsword into the ground Orcleous moved to help the maiden up. A pain shot through his arm as he realized the blow he received earlier did more damage than he thought.

After bouncing to a complete stop, she laid there for a moment then said with a shakey voice. "Ow...you'd think I'd get use to being hurt...ugggh. " Slowly putting her right fist with her sword on the ground and slowly pushed up.She was going to try her left arm yet. Once on her knees, she would see her companion running over towards her with a new sword in hand. Most likely what was left of the bonewalkers would have heard her screaming.
Trying her left arm, sharp pain shot through out her body but was able to move her limb. Hearing the question asked to her, She began to laugh and replied. "Oh yes, I'm just dandy. Haven't felt any better...which also means we gotta move...doubt the rest won't check out the screams."
Looking around, she saw the silver sword she was using. Sheathing her Iron Sword, she went over to the longsword and picked it up. Looking at the ground, she picked up an identical tower shield and made her way back to Orcleous. Lifting the heavy shield, Claira handed it over to him. "To heavy for me."

"Nah", spoke Orcleous as he denied the maiden's request to give him the towershield. At this point Orcleous realized that the thing was holding him back. Whenever he used it he would go on the defensive. He was going to need to be more offensive in these fights. Pulling the greatsword out the dirt Orcleous looked her in the eye. "This is more than enough", he spoke. Now that he confirmed Raven's survival Orcleous was able to get a look around. From what he could see there were a few figures moving in the distance. Probably more bonewalkers coming there way. Maybe four or five to be sure.
"Come on lets retreat", spoke Orcleous as he looked at Claira. His sword was useful, but the way things looked from the fight with the five they could not handle this. The sword was not worth Orcleous life, nor was it worth hers. He would simply just have to live without it. "The threat level here is far too high. Even if we find the sword I doubt we would be in good enough shape to walk out this place. No weapon is worth a life."
As Orcleous moved toward the hole in the gate to retreat the doors to two of the homes suddenly shot open. The sound of moans and screams gave testament to the creatures that was inside. "Crap", spoke Orcleous as the undead came shambling out. At first Orcleous figured that the town itself was assaulted by only the bonewalkers themselves. That assessment was due to the word of the villagers and the lack of shambling corpses. However it seemed that the Bonewalkers where just as smart as Orcleous said they where. Having there shock troops walk around the city only made them visible to anyone looking around. Hiding them in houses, well they could be used as a surprise.
As the first creature stepped into the street it gave off a bone chilling moan that even turned Orcleous blood cold. The beast suddenly threw itself into a blood rage and charged toward Orcleous with frighting speed. It's claws slicked through the air with purpose as it moved to take off the hero's head. However frighting the undead was still a undead. Orcleous had fought the beast before and he knew how they fought. Its tactics, the same as the ones back in Bern. The same ones Orcleous encountered as a novice.
As the creature swung Orcleous ducked. Its hand flew right over him and its body open for attack. Swinging the greatsword with the full power of both his arms orcleous cut the beast into two. Its torso fell to the ground right along its waist line. "We are going to need to fall back", shouted Orcleous as another moved in to attack! The hero too brought the greatsword up into the air as quickly as he could and smashed it down. The sword cut into the beast torso from the head down. Behind the monster Orcleous could see about seven of those things. If he stayed and attempted to fight he would be overun. He was going to need to funnel them into a tight space or separate them into smaller chunks.
The hero abandoned the greatsword into the body of the monster he just slew. Pulling it out would take too long and Orcleous did not want to get acquainted to the rest of them. He had no idea what was across the street, but at the moment he did not care. Turning around and making a about-face Orcleous retreated toward the buildings on the opposite side of the town. The hero had it in his mind to take advantage of the narrow space between the two homes. That would keep the horde moving in a straight line. However he was not sure if there was others or Bonewalkers. It was a gamble, but one he had to take.

When the sight of more bonewalkers appeared coming for them. She simply growled in annoyance then heard Orc telling her that they needed to retreat. Nodding her head, one sword wasn't worth another two lives. While running back towards the hole in the wall, doors burst open as undead creatures came out and moved towards them at speeds she was surprised.
Sher left arm wasn't going to be much help in the fight if she had to use the silver longsword. When she saw Orcleous not taking his greatsword out if the now fully dead creature, she yelled towards him and threw the silver sword into the air towards him. "Catch!" After doing so, some of the undead turned and went for her. She turned and started to run and four of the creatures gave Chase. "I guess they like fast food."
At Orcleous, the sounds of the bonewalkers getting closer was heard. He had about two posts til they are upon him. He had only one undead left to face off.
Claira heard the marching heading for Orcleous. This day was just getting better and better. Going in and out of different streets. But then she saw a place that gave her an idea. It was a stone church with a big bell. The thief pushed herself to the max for it. The two wooden doors were wide open. But it was a chance she had to take. Going inside, she slammed them shut and slide the thick wooden beam to lock it. The scent of blood and death was thick inside, but she didn't have time.
Quickly searching around for the rope for the bell, she found it. Taking a hold of it, she began pulling it down in sequence. The big bell began to ring loudly throughout the village.
The bonewalkers stopped their March for Orcleous and went for the source of the loud ringing. Now she had two posts til the remaining bonewalkers and whatever else arrives to the church.

"What the", spoke Orcleous as Claira threw him his silver longsword. The Hero did not have time to argue, however it did requite him to stop so he could catch the blade. Reaching his hand out Orcleous caught the blade by the hilt and swung it immediately. One of the undead was closing in thanks to Orcloeus sudden stop and was moving to strike at him. Its arm cut through the air, but was intercepted by Orcleous silver longsword. The blade, empowered the mystical effect of silver, cut through the flesh of the beast like a razor. With a single swing Orcloeus loped off the beast arm. Pulling back onto the blade Orcloeus took off the monsters head. The silver sword cut into the beast skull and sent its body falling to the ground lifeless.
With Claira drawing off four of them the battle changed drastically. It was now two on one and unfortunately for the undead they did not have weapons. This meant that Orcleous fight them on equal footing. The first of the creatures struck at him in its stumbling way. The beast had power, but very little grace. Rather than block it or try to counter attack Orcleous used a duck under tactic used by wrestlers on the mat. Lowering his body and pressing forward Orcleous dodged around the beast attack and placed himself into the range of the second undead. The beast struck out and Orcleous meet its claws with his silver sword. The clash was short, quick, and in Orcleous favor. The silver sword knocked the beast claws aside and left a perfect opening to attack. However Orcleous could not take advantage of it. The hero still had another beast at his back.
Jumping backwards Orclous slammed his breastplate into the body of the creature behind him. The blow caused it to fall off balance and tumble to the ground. However that did not stop it from trying to latch onto Orcleous and as it fell it threw off his balance causing Orcleous to fall to the ground. The standing undead rushed forward in a attempt to fall on the hero and bit his face off. Unfortunately for it Orcleous leg was stronger than gravity. As the beast fell Orcleous kicked it in the chest with all of his strength. The blow sent it falling backwards. The hero then rolled over and got back onto his knee. The other undead rushed in and threw its claws at him in a mad attempt on his life. Orcleous however was ready. When the beast swung its fist Orcleous slashed up with his sword. The blade chopped off its arm. Naturally Orcleous brought the sword back down through its skull killing the beast. The second undead rushed forward and in a single motion Orcleous pulled the sword through the first creature's head and slashed the chest of the monster.
The force of the blow knocked it to the ground, but it was not dead yet. The undead where tough creatures. As it struggled to get back up Orcleous kicked the beast in the chest. Stabbing his sword down into its head Orclous finished oof the three unedad. It was then that he heard the sound of the bell.
"What the crap", spoke Orcleous as he looked toward its source. The creatures in the distance also started to move in that direction. "You have to be kidding me", spoke Orcleous. He knew who caused the ringing, but he did not understand why. Quickly Orlceous began to moved through the streets as he attempted to reach the church and Claira before the monsters did.

Claira let go of the rope and ran further into the church. Avoiding the dead bodies as she made her way. Claira began searching for another way out, but only found one. And those were the four Windows of the church, two on either side and eight feet off the ground. Their frames were wooden and glass still intact.
"I got myself into this...Ill get myself out. Hope Orc. isn't mad I diverted the skeletons to my way."
Looking still, she began to think. Going back to the rope, she took note that it was a thick sturdy rope.Jumping up, she grabbed a hold of the bell rope. Wrapping her legs around it, with the rope going up and down ringing the bell again. She started to slowly climb up the rope. Having to stop because of her shoulder. Soon the bell stopped ringing. But after a while, she was in the bell tower. Lifting herself up, she had a good view of the whole village.
Claira saw Orcleous coming to her, but a few streets down from him was what was left the bonewalkers and the undead. Her eyes went wide when she saw a bonewalker that was almost the same size as Orc.It was a big beast to her. Grabbing a hold of the rope, she took out her Iron Sword and cut it. Tying one end to the bell towers beam. She slid down it and landed on the roof. Now she had to get off the roof. Many buildings around it, their roofs are either to far away or to low to attempt to jump down.

Orcleous pushed his way through the side streets and made his way toward the church. The hero knew time was of the essence. As he came through the street he ran into one of the undead that had marched out of the building before hand. The creature growled and that was all it could do. Orcleous was in no mood for a long fight and once he saw the beast he struck with speed and power. The jumped into the air and brought down his blade. The blow chopped the beast head from its body, but also took its right arm. "Claira", he shouted, but his cries soon stopped as he heard the sound of clanking. The hero turned to see a skeleton like none other. It was not like the rest of the bonewalkers lightly armored and nimble on its feet. It was large, thick, and had plate armor that one would suspect from a knight. The beast had a mighty warhammer in its hand and seemed to be leading the charge of the remaining creatures.
"Oh dear", spoke Orcleous and then the creature was upon him. The mighty wraith rushed forward with its warhammer slamming down on Orcleous position. The hero however was not a fool. As the beast rushed him he retreated back into the narrow alleyway. That however did not stop the monster. As its first attack mist it rushed into the narrow space with its hammer held high. Its downward swing cut through the air leaving a howling sound. Orcleous was not foolish enough to try and block the blow. Instead he jumped back again, and the blow barely missed. The bonewalker however did not give the hero time to counter. When its hammer slammed into the ground it rushed forward stabbing the head of the massive warahammer toward Orcleous.
"Is this a wraith", spoke Orlcoeus as he raised his sword to try and block the blow. The hammer pressed against this blade, but the force of the blow was to great. The creature's weapon slammed into Orcleous armor and scooped him and tossed him into the air. Orcleous fell back into the main street with his armor slamming into the stone. "Crap", spoke Orcleous as he grabbed his side and tried to recover. The beast of a skeleton moved out of the narrow space and into the open street. Behind it was two other bonewalkers that moved around it to flank Orcleous and prevent him from retreating.
The creature rushed forward and Orcleous could see his life flashing before his eyes. "Am I to die here", thought Orcleous as the creature moved in for the kill. The Hero had not given up, but at the moment every part of his body screamed out in agony. Still Orcleous pulled himself to his feet. He was not going to go out lying on the ground. At the very least he would die standing. The beast pulled back on its hammer to make its attack and in that moment Orcleous primal instincts kicked in.
Orcleous mind went blank and a savage roar escaped his lungs. The hero suddenly charged forward. The pain has stopped, fatigue had vanished, the only thing on his mind was rage, and that rage drove him forward. The hero slashed wildly at the beast, but the moved avoiding the blow. It swung its weapon, but Orcleous lunge had moved him just out of the range of the hammer. Charging back in Orcleous struck with a downward slash. The beast attempted to block the attack with the shaft of its weapon, but the adrenaline fuels furry of Orcleous was too great. The power behind the blade cut clean through the wood destroy the war hammer. The silver blade however did not have the force to cut through the armor. The edge skitted across the armor sending sparks off the plate. The wraith took a step back and the other two bonewalkers rushed in.
The first one stabbed forward with a spear, but slashed the shaft and removed the head. The second one swung its blade in a vertical slash. Orcleous however meet it mid swing with a attack of his own. As the two clashed orcleous broke it off leaning back a bit. The creature attempted to retaliate with a quick slash across the chest, but Orcleous armor held strong and the blade caused only sparks. Orcleous however took the opportunity to slam the pommel of his sword into the skull of the beast. The blow cracked open the skull.
The wraith and the bonewalker with a headless spear rushed forward to join the battle. However everyone's advance was suddenly halted as a fireball suddenly raged into the battle causing a explosion. The force of the attack shattered the bones of the beast and threw Orcleous back a few feet. The shock knocked the hero out of his rage and smoke and dust filled the air. Stabbing his silver longsword into the ground Orlceous looked up to see a figure push through the smoke. The first thing he noticed was his sword. The Fiery Dragon Blade, he could tell its edge from a mile away. The second thing, and the most frighting of them all was the skeleton warrior weilding it. Sitting from atop a horse made of bones and aged armor sat the bones of a king. On its head was a golden crown and covering its chest was a suit of aged armor. Flowing in the wind was a blue cape that held a long forgotten symbol. Age and time had done its job on the cape and the battle scared cloth gave the creature a imposing look.
"Oh f#$% me", spoke Orcleous as the creature raised its blade and began to call upon the power of the sword.

She watched as Orcleous fought for his life against the remaining Skeletons. But when she thought he was going to be killed, a fireball exploded on the skeletons sending bone fragments everywhere. Looking at the source, fear struck her as she watched an ancient warrior of bones riding into the fight on its Skelton stead. It was holding a fiery sword. "Is that what he is after? Is that Orcys sword?" She thought to herself.
But she had to do something. Or they will die. So she drew in ideas which they had the risk that she was going to die first. Yelling out loud. "Hey bone head! Yeah you! I bet my last coin you won't hit me!" Its head turned to face her and the sword began to get brighter as its flames grew higher. Uh oh she thought. The first fire ball was launched at her and she decided to make a leap of faith to a house roof.
The explosion made her fly a bit further hitting hard onto the roof. Her body started to roll down it and it was a ten foot drop to the ground.Taking out her dagger with her left hand and stabbed it into the wooden roof. Her body jerked to a stop and her shoulder began to kill her with Pain. Screaming hard, Claira slowly stood up and saw another fireball being launched at her. Yanking the dagger out she ran and jumped back to the church, but she had the dagger in her right hand and was aiming for the window. Jumping off, she lifted up the dagger and slammed it down into the window seal. The blade began to slip out and she fell the rest of the way.
Landing on her feet, she collapsed to the ground below from all the pain her body has endured so far. Hoping what she had done had bought Orc. enough time. Landing in front of her her sword slid off the house roof and impaled the dirt.

As the creature raved up for a magical attack Claira shouted out and grabbed its attention. While its vision was changed Orcleous pulled himself off the ground. He preyed that Claira could handle what she got herself into and began to move away from the monster. The blow it had delivered with its first bolt of fire did some real damage. Orcleous was never one with high resitance and that fact was made worse by the blunt force caused by the explosion. The blow he received on his right arm was acting up again and the strain of running around was starting to weigh on his legs.
Shuffling his way over to the body of corpses Orcleous grabbed that towershield Claira had offered him earlier. The hero did not have the time to strap his arm in, as the beast finished its work with the thief and turned its attention back on Orcleous. One thing was made clear though to the hero. That monster never really took its eyes off him. The moment it stopped shooting at Claira it turned its gaze straight to him. Still the maiden had gained him some precious time. The skeleton warrior kicked the side of its undead horse and sent the beast into a charge. Riding at a full gallop it swung its sword at Orcleous. The blade, now read hot with heat, smashed into the towershild with great force. The blow not only through the wood, but also set the giant plank on fire. The force ripped the shield right out of Orcleous hand and tossed it onto the ground. As for Orcleous, the moment the beast came into swing he lowered his body in order to strength his guard. That tactic was corect. As the blade cut through the shield it sliced into his armor and not his head. The super heated blade cut clean through his shoulder armor ripping the piece of metal off the rest of the plate and even burned Orcleous left shoulder.
"Crap", spoke the hero as he fell to the ground. The burning sensation filled his senses overriding the pain he received from falling to the ground. Still he was alive and that is what mattered. Thanks to the speed of its pass the creature was forced to make a wide loop in order for it to turn around and attack again. The bodies and equipment scattered across the ground did not aid its return either. However that would not stop it. The skeleton legs of the horse trampled the corpses and snapped the blades as it rushed back toward the hero.
Orcleous, realizing that he can't beat this monster in the open took the opportunity to retreat back toward the house the zombies had come from earlier. As he ran the creature shot forth another fireball from the blade. This one slammed into the doorway of the home catching it on fire and stopping Orcleous dead in his tracks.
"Shoot", spoke Orcleous as the horsemen came charging in. Its read hot blade held high in the air as it prepared to do away with the troublesome interloper.
"Die monster", shouted a voice that was soon followed by the thundering sound of a steed. The sound caught the Skeleton King off guard as a massive steed pushed its way in through the hole of the gate. With the furry of Bern itself Orcleous Berness Charge rushed in from the outside. On its back was the young village girl he had spoken to before. Bringing up all of her courage she had mounted his steel and rode back to try and save those who had stayed back to fight.
At full gallop the horse slammed into the Wraiths undead mount. The crash sent screams of agony in the air as Orcleous steed tripped and fell to the stone. The young lady on it flew off the mount and landed on her shoulder. Orcleous heard a bone snap as she hit and her cries of agony filled the air. Raising from the entire crash unharmed was the Skeleton King. There was no emotion or facial expression to read, but the body language itself showed its annoyance. Its horse was crushed and its crown knocked off its head. The creature walked over to the ground and picked back up its regal helm. It then took its sword and stabbed into the neck of the beast. The flames erupted from the wound and Orcleous horse screamed its last agonizing breath.
"D@#$ it", shouted Orcleous as the undead king turned its gaze toward the women. He knew what was going to happen next. Orcleous then took his silver sword and cut the leather straps on his armor. The hunk of metal hit the ground like a sack of potatoes. The sound drew the Undead King's gaze as orcleous dropped off his metal gantlets. With nothing more than flesh and blood to protect him Orcleous prepared to try and face the beast.

' get up...Get up...GET UP!' She thought in her head, practically yelling it. Grunting heavily and forcing herself to her feet. Grabbing her sword with her right hand, she pulled it out of the dirt and limped out into the opening. Blood was running down her left arm. The feeling of the heavy gaze came down upon her, but she didn't give ground.
"You wear a crown of Kingship. But you attack and slaughter those that can't fight back. You hide behind an ancient sword of fire. If you still know a sense of honor...we challenge you for that sword under one condition. Pick up a weapon at your feet. If you don't, then you are No king!" Claira shouted out at the Wraith. She didn't know how the wraith would act from her saying to it.

In the old legends it was said that the Fury Dragon Blade was forged with the soul of a dragon. There is nothing that backed this tale up, but the way the sword howled to burn human flesh made people truly believe in it. The blade began to pulsate in the hands of the skeleton king as the beast started off at Orcleous. Its steel frame glowed red as its magical power began to radiate through the sword. The beast pulled back and swung the weapon forward. Fire began to shoot from its tip as the sword spewed fire like the dragons of old.
The beast swung its blade from the left side moving to the right and orcleous followed that path. The hero sprinted going around the creature. His legs screamed in agony because of the pain and his arm struggled to keep his sword off the ground. Adrenaline pumped through his veins as fire followed him on his path. As the flame spit ended Orcleous took a sharp turn. Tightening his grip on his sword Orcleous rushed forward as fast as he could. He needed to close the ground between the two of them before the sword could fire again. It was a great plan mentally, but impossible for him to actually do. Pulling back on the sword the beast called upon the power of the blade again. Rather than send the flames out as a stream the beast shot forward another ball of fire. It knew full well what Orcleous needed to accomplish and it knew how to stop him.
If the monster shot toward Orcleous he would dodge. He had proven himself before and during his fight with his minions. It it switched to a stream Orcleous would just stay infront of his arm. If he turned his arm quickly the fire would not follow through and Orcleous could jump backwards to avoid the burst of flames. However he knew where Orcleous was going and he knew how fast he could move. Instead of trying to hit him directly with the fire the beast shot the bolt on the path Orlcoeus needed to move. The explosion that erupted as a result caught the warrior off guard. Orcleous could dodge what he could see, but not what he could not. The force sent him flying to the side slamming into the dead corpse of his horse.
The bones of the king chattered almost as a taunt. With Orcleous now down the creature raised its sword drawing upon the blades power. In that moment the creature heard the words of the maiden. She would dare mock him. Taking a look at Orcleous trying to struggle to get up the beast realized that he was not a danger at the moment. Instead it turned its blade toward the women and began to call upon the power of flames. Her words meant nothing to it. However her screams of agony as she burned alive would feel it with great joy.
'Crap' spoke Orcleous in his mind as he attempted to get back up. He heared Raven's voice and realized that she was trying to distract the beast again. It worked last time, but last time she was very far away. Now it would probably toast her like bread. Orcleous knew the power of the blade. He knew Fiery's flames. She would stand no chance. Orcleous struggled to get up, but he could not find the power. His muscles did not have the strength. His right arm was ready to give out and his legs had reached there limit. At the moment it looked as if all three of them where going to die.
The Wraith let out a foul crackle as its bones rattled. The creature began to swing its arm to set off a ball of fire. However its attention was turned as the sound of strong footsteps moved toward its destination. Turning back the creatue saw a image that would have never crossed its mind. Orcleous, the warrior who was down before, was running toward it with the largest hammer it had ever seen. Xigshaw, the holy hammer that started Orcleous quest to find his sword, was lying on the ground next to Orcleous. The hero had left it with his steed and when the village women returned with his horse she brought the hammer with him. Touching the hammer Orcleous felt strength shoot through his body. The power of the lost art of Invalid.
"Die monster you don't belong in this world", shouted Orcleous as he charged forward. The skeleton King shot its fire ball toward Orlceous. Pulling a old trick from his mercenary days Orcleous used the power of Xigshaw to strengthen his legs. The hero jumped magnificently into the air performing a aerial flip bringing down the hammer in one final strike. The skeleton king, in desperation, raised the sword to defend himself. As the two weapons connected the word "Smite", filled the air as Orcleous called upon the natural energy in his body. The impact summoned up a great cloud of dust and rock as a thundering boom ended the clash.
From the impact the tip of a blade flew out and stabbed itself into the ground near Raven. A small hole filled the position where the Skeleton King use to stand and Orcloeus, the Hero, stood there holding onto his mighty war hammer. Nest to him laid the hilt of his magical sword and the dusty remains of the once great skeleton king.

Claira stood her ground, even when the skeleton king aimed the sword at her. Standing like a statue, she placed her sword before her. Tip down and both hands on the pummel. Much like how they line suits of armor in a castle. When Orcleous got his hammer, she said out loud. "You die with no honor False king. May the Inferno have mercy on you."
Dust blasted outwards with rocks flying everywhere. Once the dust died down and a piece of a sword landed in front of her, she fought to say standing. When she saw Orcleous still standing, she smiled for a little bit and fell to her knees. Claira's vision began to go in and out. Orcleous would hear the woman with the broken shoulder yelling and pointing to Claira.
"Mi...mi...Mister! Y-your friend!"
