Colchys crouched in the bushes, watching her opponents stagger around. Her right hand rested upon her sword handle, ready to draw and attack at any sudden noise or movement. A light breeze caught up and blew through the leaves, which made her ponytail sway - she crouched an inch deeper, so as not to give away her presence.
Two zombies staggered about in the woods. She rarely encountered the monsters in such small numbers, which meant that this was either a scouting party or there were more nearby. The woman prayed for her sake and the village's that it was the former. Two she could deal with by herself, but three or more and she was in trouble.
Blood dripped from the monsters' claws. Colchys grimaced a bit. She admitted that she had found them absolutely terrifying on her first day, but she had years of experience now and knew the best way to kill these monsters.
The first zombie didn't even have time to turn around as Colchys jumped out, breaking into a sprint and cleaving its head straight off. Before the monster's head even hit the ground, she had already severed its right arm from its body. Her gaze was completely blank. Foul-smelling blood stained her clothes.
Colchys weaved past the first zombie's stumbling corpse and slashed the second zombie's torso, causing the monster to stumble back in pain. She brought down her sword hard on the second zombie's left arm and moved back up again to cut off its right. As the zombie roared in pain, she swung her hands to the side and hacked its head clean off. This was what she had learned in her experience: complete dismemberment was the only sure way to get rid of the creatures for good.
The first zombie tried to stagger up with its remaining arm. Colchys took one long stride towards its twitching body and buried her sword into its torso.
Colchys sheathed her sword. Her irises widened back to normal and she crouched, her hands on her knees. In between shaking, heavy breaths, she managed to stutter out several curses and quick prayers to the Goddess.
Before she could completely recoup, she heard another moan and spun around. Another zombie was rushing towards her, blood dripping from his mouth...

One of them had died.
One of her scouts had died, a sudden snap like feeling in her head causing the Madness to turn her head and stare off into the distance, red burning eyes narrowing until they soon eased. Another was fighting. Another was going to avenge the fallen one... Such sentimentality from a mindless beast. She enjoyed the concept of her minions. Simple animals risen from the dead to fight other simple animals. Yet, she felt as if this one showed much promise, this filthy animal that had struck down one of her men. Most only cried as they were ripped to shreds, yet this one showed enough guts and glory to strike down upon death itself.
She would go and see this whelp herself, to see if it could strike down another one of her own. She had been getting braver recently, traveling far into these lands of vermintide. Disgusting humans dwelled here, using the land as their own, when it had been gifted to them to be used sparingly, to live with it, not trough using it. The thought made her seethe for a moment, only for the woman to call down and instead snap her fingers, recalling a few of her men. The rest were ordered to keep up their travel in search of more vermin to drag back to Ostia.
She would go and see this one that had slain one of her men. She gave the mental order for the remaining one to be defensive. Let the vermin tire herself... Soon, Madness would arrive.

Had he managed to get lost again? Goodness. Only Lycia had posed such navigational difficulties. First, getting lost between the Bernese and Lycian borders, and now this? Especially with their destination so close that they could soon find the young lost sheep his small band had endeavored to find. His thoughts turned to the two small children that he'd come to know as younger siblings, who he'd been given charge of. It was odd. Even if they were out of his sight but for a few short hours, he grew to miss them fiercely. The monumental relief he felt upon seeing them unharmed only grew as the days went on, and he found himself worrying over their well being more and more. The shaggy haired priest ran a hand through sapphire hair which messily spread in all directions as he tried to find his baring. He pressed his staff lightly to the ground and rapped it twice against a stone in a brief huff of frustration.
Goodness, how could he even navigate if he couldn't find a sign of civilization? Tree's dotted all around, as he made his way through the winding sea of greens and browns. At-least there was a semblance of a path that he could follow and-..what had that noise been?
Had someone been hurt? Lapis robes rustled as the priest broke into a soft jog in the direction of the noise. About now he was wishing he'd had Nayru's level of stamina and endurance.. or Duma's...or Perun's..Or Donovans. Infact..he was fairly sure even Amelia had more physical stamina than himself at this point. Was everyone around him more energetic, or was he just losing a step in all his slow paced travelings? This simply wouldn't do!
Ah! He could see it! The odd groaning and shouts had sounded odd, no doubt, but what he saw sent a jolt and a chill down his spine. A blonde haired woman being assaulted by an abomination of sorts. He'd not personally encountered creatures of this particular nature, admittedly...or had he? At the siege during the City of Heroes, he could faintly recall the walls assailed with such when the winged monsters began showing up. Yes..yes..it was coming back to him. Then there was Hargus, and the Shadowy figured creature that the others had been fighting. Those red eyes..he wouldn't soon forget those.
Lifting his left hand, he quieted himself. Distractions faded as the priest focused inwards upon the desire to protect the woman. Arcane energy wove into existence as an intense radiance burst from his palm, light spewing out and shining with a partially blinding intensity before three intense bolts were launched from his hand in a swift series directly towards the creature. As with the time he'd battled the gargoyles, he instinctively rose his hand during the spell so that the bolts spread and sailed upwards.
Remus continued running towards the girl however even after sending his light magic to the creature, before closing the distance. He'd little time for words, if only because he wanted to ensure his magic would find optimum success. That didn't stop a faint voice in the back of his head from mimicking what he once recalled his friend Nayru having said to him in a similar situation.
"Come with me if you want to live!"
Yeah..he couldn't say that. Especially since he wasn't sure there were any threats beyond this one creature. It did not however, bode well. He knew that Laus was riddled with dangers that bled over from Ostia. He'd learned that when they first set out for the lycian territory as a group. Yet now... having seen them first hand? It only renewed his determination. First thing was first though. To ensure the blonde haired woman was okay. Remus lifted his staff upwards and slowly directed the shining crimson gem within towards her as he briefly channeled energy to it. Focusing, he placed a light barrier upon her. Not anywhere near as potent as normal, but enough to shield her from a hit or two in the event that his magic hadn't put the beast down. The priest gazed back to the direction of the fiend, hoping that this indeed was, the only danger.

The monster screeched as the bolts connected. Colchys stumbled back as magic sizzled against flesh, shielding her eyes from the flash with her hands. When she opened her eyes again, she saw a blue-haired man in a robe staring at her, his staff outstretched. A mage?
A plopping sound broke her train of thought. The monster's charred corpse fell to the ground - the way it was, she could hardly believe it had ever been human at all. She sheathed her sword. He looked harmless enough, and he had just saved her some trouble killing the zombie.
"Hm. Thanks." she said, pouting. "I could handle myself, but thanks, stranger."
She said that, but her feet were still quivering from the shock the monster had given her. Colchys wondered if she'd ever stop being frightened of those things. The woman coughed and stood up straight, making a conscious effort to look more dignified in front of the mage. She brushed her ponytail back and blinked at him.

Another snap. It had died too? How. How, it had been told to stay on the defense, did the... It had friends. The mangy, hairless dog that had killed her servant had friends. This would be interesting, surely. She recalled a few more troops to follow her just in case. Trees were knocked down, branches were crushed, and anything that dared to get in the way of the madness was soon destroyed. She should consider her strategy while she moved. It had to be powerful. Something powerful had killed one of her better men in what felt like one single strike. Perhaps it had been a magician. A fire one. Or perhaps... Elimine herself had finally intervened? Ah, the foolish old hag and her servants.
The saint as a figure had always fascinated her. Her king did not speak much of the human that had such a connection to the holy forces that were afoot, nor did he ever much talk about this holy force. All she knew that it burned harder than fire. At least to the part of her body that still bound itself to the bones of the old coot she had possessed in order to gain this body. It was usable, yet falling apart with age. Perhaps if she had secured it's head for herself, she would be fine. Oh well. She can always stitch the parts back together.
The rumbling in the distance grew louder and louder as the army of insanity made it's way towards the site where the two undead had fallen against Remus and Colchys.

Colchys thought she heard something in the distance. It was probably nothing. She hoped that it was nothing. In her current state, she wasn't equipped to deal with anything more than the handful of zombies she had slain. Besides, anything bigger wasn't covered in her pay.
She turned to the mage, flashing a small smile in an attempt to appear polite. He had saved her life, after all, whether she wanted to admit it or not. "Let's get somewhere safe first. Then we can talk." she said, her composure regained at last.
"By the way, my name's Colchys. What's yours?"

Liam and Aria had been traveling to Nabata from Bern, to teach young Julius how to fly. Liam had known it was a tad bit early but he figured it wouldn't hurt to start now. In order to do, the two would have to pass through Lycia, which brought them to Laus. Liam hasn't been to Lycia in a few years, but he knew of the stories what lurks in this land, a for that isn't human.
With his heightened dragon senses, he could hear the sounds of battle in the distance, except it did not sound like a normal battle. He could tell a human was fighting some sort of monster, that had struck a certain nerve in Liam. He lost his wife to the deadliest of monsters, a Cyclops. The only thing that single handed posed a threat to dragons in the days of old. He wasn't sure what they were fighting, but he wouldn't allow anybody to suffer the same fate he had to vile creatures, even if was a human.
Julius, stick close to me." Liam commanded to the young pup. Looking towards Aria he spoke once again, "Aria, there's some sort of trouble in that direction. We're going to help." pointing towards the area he heard the conflict.
Liam began to scan the area as the two began to approach it, he saw the bodies of a few undead laying scattered before the two who had been battling them. Luckily it was a for so weak to him, he would have to draw just enough power to hit harder as well to cause changes to his appearance one would notice if they paid close attention. "Do not fear, we're here to help. There's nothing to worry about now."

The trip through the Lycian countryside had been rather amusing for Aria. The rural villages they passed through rarely saw wyverns. Much less two of them. And for the most part Chewy and Aria tried their hardest not to dote on little Julius. They wanted to respect Liam's wishes on his attempt to raise Julius wild or as wild as possible. This cut into Aria's care of Chewy. As neither wanted the baby wyvern to mimic their domesticated bond.
Chewy stopped in her tracks for a bit. Like Liam she could hear the sounds of combat. And her background as a military wyvern had taught her to prepare for battle. The brick colored wyvern slammed her tail down and snorted. Expressing clear signs of aggression, while Aria couldn't hear the distant fighting herself she knew that there was commotion nearby due to Chewy's reaction. Liam had spoken out about the commotion.
"Right! I'll scout out ahead." Hallelujah! Finally some action. The rider was oddly happy. Not for the fact that there were people or things she would inevitably hurt or that there were probably people suffering already. Actually she would be pretty upset at that. But she was just happy that Chew and her would finally get to do something together. It was fortunate that both rider and wyvern we're accustomed to wandering around in their mix matched armor. It saved them time.
Aria gently tugged on Chewy's reigns.
"Hup!" She gave the command and Chewy flapped her large wings and kicked off the ground. Once, in the air Aria leaned close to Chewy's ears.
"Finally some girly bonding time! Ready?" The wyvern gave a light roar. Clearly, excited to be doing actual wyvern riding activities. The blue haired rider grabbed her lance out of its holster. Aria scanned the scenario from the air trying to find some signs of life. She could see two folk. Blonde and Blue haired people. And there was some sort of commotion coming from the woodland. Something large enough to cause birds to fly away and dust to be strewn about. She guided Chewy down closer to the ground within earshot of Liam.
"Looks, like we've got undead things! Coming from the woods! Two civilians up ahead! Blonde and Blue." She pulled the reigns again and Chewy went to fly closer towards the other two.
"Hey! You two civilians! People! We are here to help!"

"My name is Remus. It's a pleasure to meet you miss."
He spoke softly, but all the while let his gaze linger off into the distance. An unsettling stir began to crawl along the length of his spine, sending shivers to traverse the length of his back and up to his neck as he felt... something. Something was wrong. He couldn't place his finger on a precise source, but there was certainly something off. The blue haired priest slowly straightened himself and lifted his right hand, fingers tightly coiled around his staff as he began to focus inwards. A soft blue light permeated steadily outwards from the crimson gem embedded within the staff.
The air around him began to stir as magical energy gathered to him, before he lifted his staff higher to complete the magic with which he had intended. His robes rustled in that tiny lapse of time, and a bright sheen flashed over the priests skin once before all faded back to normal tones, a potent magical shield now encasing him entirely. This isn't good. No. Certainly not.
He could hear it..and if he was careful enough to notice..feel the rumbling that tremored through the ground. Nothing of that magnitude was ever good. The priest tried to determine what the best path was. What ever it was, they could likely flee from now. Which would have been monumentally safer. However...that didn't ensure that others were safe. There was a plethora of small villages around. Could he rest knowing that? That there was a chance he could've protected them from a threat so great it made the land quake? Maybe it was indeed nothing, but he doubted it with such conviction that the notion of fleeing had already taken him into a path of shame within.
He quietly exhaled, clearing his doubts, and squared his shoulders while he faced the source of distant thunder with a gaze of renewed determination. His left palm began to burn slowly. A soft glow that surged with a pulse of life, as holy magic began to prime within. No. We are in Laus. The others are here as well. If I flee this now, they could be in danger. The young priest turned abruptly though as another arrived. No, not just another. Two people?
Remus greeted them with a brief, but warm smile, before he turned back to the direction that he'd been facing originally. Light magic was something he'd acclimated to by now, but was still just starting to become proficient with. His voice maintained kind tones of the same blue haired gentile healer he'd always been, but his gaze and composure reflected the slowly acquired seriousness he'd been forced to develop in recent events.
"Ah..hello. A pleasure to meet you both, I am sure..but it does in-fact seem like there is some trouble approaching. I would recommend that all of you head for the nearest town, if inclined. I do fear this is something worse than simple undead."
Simple undead indeed. He could feel it within. That slight pulse as he found his spark once more. Unlike healing magic, which required simply focus on the wound and how to repair it, light required something else. Determination. He focused on that. A singular powerful desire to protect his friends. To shield the two small children he'd been charged with. The very idea of them being injured filled him with a fire that could not be quelled. Nayru had talked to him about it. That was what he had to seize hold of. Embrace. Light began to pulse from his body in a soft glow as he lifted his staff upwards, across from his chest, and readied himself in full. In the back of his mind, he recalled the scripts from the tome with which he'd spent some years reading. All in hopes that some day, it would be of use. Finally...it would be.

In the end, this would not be too difficult. Even if something had killed her men in but a single strike, she had more. Many more. She could always summon more, her army was almost as endless as the vermintide was. Although, it would take time for them to arrive, of course. Sometimes life was hard. Seelenschmaus struck trough the air and knocked down a tree, bark creaking as the army of insanity moved on. This force she could sense grew ever so stronger with each step. It was of the saint's kin, obviously. No other force could kill her men in one hit.
Nothing else... Right?
Remus' worries of there being something worse than simple undead was answered by another tree falling down. And then another. Until she saw him. The man of the holy cloth, the man that radiated this aura of holy energy and wrath... It would burn her if she was hit. But she would just have to make sure nothing like that happened. And there were some others too, apparently. A rider. A man. A girl. Vermin, each and every single one of them obviously, but she sensed something within that one man that she had sensed before... Like a pulse. Badump. Badump. Badump. A beating heart.
A dragon?
Perhaps. It emitted the similar sound of beating that the other had done. Perhaps this time she could finally kill it and take the beating heart for herself, to study it, and to perhaps even give it to her king as a gift when he arrived to this world. Whatever it would be, this would be a fun little skirmish. She drew Seelenschmaus back, and prepared to attack.

No. No no no.
No.
He saw that figure of darkness that approached. Between what looked like tainted metal visor bars, burning red eyes. A nightmarish recollection to his helplessness at the city of heroes came flooding back to him. The priest's face slowly drained of almost all color until his pale skin reached near perfect contrast to the shadowy stain of the armored being that approached with such devastation. Nature fell victim, ravaged by its mere approach. He felt his heart rate quicken and his breathing hitch in his lungs, as frigid fingers of fear gripped his very core. This was like a thing out of nightmares.
He may have faltered, then and there, at its sight. Until he remembered why he was there. Amelia. Owain. Thomas. His friends. He was there because he had wanted to ensure what ever he found would be of no danger to them. Especially the children. When he'd encountered the creature at the city of heroes, he found himself helpless but to watch on and suffer it's terrible attacks. No, this time, he could do something. That notion, gave him strength. Determination. The light that had circulated around him exploded as he lifted his left hand skywards and focused with every ounce of willpower. Every facet of his desire to shield them, to fight away this darkness which encroached upon their safety. A thin single beam of soft warm light cast down from the heavens upon the shadowy figure that still approached. As if the heavens had looked to it directly. His peacock blue robes billowed as the priest spoke out, directed at the woman with blonde hair; his gaze never leaving the shadowy figure.
"It is best if you flee. All of you. I cannot."
He lowered his hand, and cast forth the purest embodiment of his desire to stave off the fiend. Unyielding, singular, will.
Purge
It came down swiftly. A tremendous beam of holy power, in ultimate divine retribution. The roaring pillar of light magic crashed into the ground from far behind sight's limits above, thunderously burning a scar upon the land. The outwards force blasting air with a potent hiss, wildly ruffling the priests hair and offering soft wind resistance as he attempted to smite the creature. The intense brilliance of the light forced him to squint as he did his absolute best to maintain the spell. Each moment felt like a siphon upon his very core. Never before had he felt such a fatigue wash over him from a single feat of magic. Ordinarily, he would have ceased it almost as it happened. He could not afford that this time. He held it. For four seconds the divine judgment rained down, ground sundering beneath and around the beam as he attempted to purge the shade.
By the time he had stemmed the flow of magic, a soft pair of droplets trickled down his cheek. His breathing had already become somewhat ragged as he crossed his staff over his body to clutch it lightly with both hands, even gazing on wards with a cross of anxiousness and worry; biting his lip in concern. Had his magic taken any effect? Had he even hit it? It didn't help that his eyes had to briefly re-adjust to the standard lighting once more, as the roaring pillar of light had not been pleasant to view.
Within the back of his mind though, he felt that small dread remounting. Even if he'd hit the creature, he knew it wouldn't be enough. The last shade he'd seen had battled with several skilled combatants and it had taken tremendous effort simply to inspire it to flee. Let alone this monstrosity which had sought them out.

The man in cloth had suggested that everyone else head to town for safety, that should have been Liam's line not his. The staff he carried had suggested he was a follower of that witch Elimine, while light magic would prove to be useful, it did also mean Liam had to hold back having him here. The other person was a swordsman, at least she was sensible not to follow a murderer's teachings.
"No need to worry about our safety, Aria can fly away if needed and myself? Let's say I'm an 'all bite, no bark' type of fellow." Liam could hear trees snapping in the distance, it didn't sound like stick or even branches. The loud, hard snapping sound could only be the tree trunk itself. Something was heading in their direction, it sounded powerful, he couldn't exactly hear it moving so it couldn't be large. He turned his head in that direction to see what they were up against.
The only thing that came to his mind was another dragon, they were the only ones on Elibe that could sneak up on them and have that kind of raw power. What he saw looked human, and yet didn't appear to be a human nor undead. He has yet to see a dragon take a humanoid form like that, but those eyes, they reminded him of something. He remembered listening to his father 'war stories' about the great war many year before he was born. What did he call them again? Alum... Arin... Orim... He couldn't remember, but what he did remember how powerful his father said they were. A foe human nor dragon could defeat alone, the two races had to work together to win. If this group were to survive this encounter Liam would have to go all out and hold nothing back, that meant he had to transform.
Wasting no time the large man has already began to get larger, his skin started to become scaly as it was darling. He had tiny horns poking out of his forehead by time he took his first step towards the creature, he was going to need some space in order not to crush these people. "I cannot allow you to fight this foe alone. You need my help." His voice being far deeper than before. Before he had ample room to finish transforming into a dragon he saw a flash of light magic being launched at the creature, looks like the small man was attempting to strike it first. Once Liam transformed he let out a loud, bone chilling roar as a warning. Not for foe in front of him, but the nearby towns to evacuate.

“Well. This is awkward.” Aria muttered to herself. The priest wanted them to leave for safety, while Aria wanted them to leave for safety. There was a thing in the woods coming closer to them. With the way the forest was moving, the rider thought it had to have been caused by a massive horde of undead coming their way. Or perhaps one of those big spider monsters that haunted one of the forests. We can't just leave the neighboring towns to deal with this!
“Nonsense sir. We are here to help the civilians.” Chewy flapped her great wings and went higher into the sky. This gave Aria time to position herself for a strike. But when the thing came out of the woods it spooked Chewy. She could sense traces of the scary amount of power that armored thing had. It took Aria a moment to actually see the “person” that came out of the woods.
“That's not a spider.. Or a horde.. what the hell is that?” Aria spoke out loud. Chewy started flailing like she did when she was frightened. Oh no you don't! Not again! Aria sheathed the lance quickly before pulling the reigns tight. Drawing Chewy’s face upwards.
“NO! WE ARE NOT RUNNING!” She let the reins loose and Chewy relaxed her head. Aria turned her head to see Liam changing. Liam had shifted into his Dragon form and let out a roar.
“Wait.. What? WHAT?” Chewy saw it too and again she started to flail and air buck. Clearly fearful of both, things below them.
“AHH!” Aria had to grab the reigns once more. This time Chewy fought her grip harder. Aria carefully guided Chewy back down into the ground away from everyone. The rider shifted her leg so it blocked the hinge of one of Chewy’s wings from flapping so she’d be unable to take off.
“CHEW DAMN IT CALM DOWN!”
The wyvern screeched. Aria dropped the reins and grabbed her mount’s horns. This pulled her forward a bit and she was forced to hold on to Chewy’s muzzle. Eventually the wyvern stopped flailing around enough out of instinct not to hurt Aria. The sky haired rider pulled herself back into her saddle.
“Listen. We.. aren’t leaving.” The wyvern was about to shout in protest.
“NO! I’m not having it. You saw those little villages out in the distance! If this gets out of hand we are the only ones who can quickly fly out and give them a warning. WE HAVE TO STAY!” Chewy turned around and nudged her head in the direction of Liam’s giant dragonic form.
“He won’t hurt us. Just like he won’t hurt Julius. Trust him! Now come on! We can still give our support!” Aria waited until Chewy calmed down enough before she released her foot from the groove of Chew’s wing.
“Hup!” Aria commanded and Chewy took to the skies once more.

Colchys stared wide-eyed at the creature. She knew immediately that she couldn't handle anything at that scale of power. She drew her sword again, trying to hold it steady in a futile attempt to not look completely threatened. Her instincts were all screaming the same thing at her - run.
She tried to choke back a protest at Remus, but before the words could even form in her head a flash of shimmering light blinded her. Staggering on a pebble, the woman landed on the ground, barely catching and steadying herself. Her blade fell to the ground with a clang - it wouldn't have served her very well in the first place, considering the scale of the other players.
What happened next she barely understood. A scaled monstrosity - a dragon - had appeared in the man's place. To her limited understanding, the man and the dragon were one: it would not harm her. As she stared, she realized something more than that. The mage and the dragon were probably the only two things standing between her and a bloody end.
Her pulse raced. A haze of emotions flew through her head. Anger at being powerless to help, relief at the aid she had received - but all of these emotions were overpowered by fear. The instinct to run was stronger than before, and all that was rooting her to the spot was what semblance of warrior's pride she had left. She was punching far, far above her pay grade.
Colchys realized that perhaps the only thing she could do was run to the nearby villages, to perhaps warn them. Standing up and grabbing her weapon, she brandished a sword at the creature and put on her straightest face.
"I k-know where the nearest village is. I can get those people out!" she stammered at Remus. Part of her still wanted to stand and fight, and this was the best compromise she could think of at the moment.

"Seelenschmaus." A calm voice. In a way, it was almost like a thousand voices coming into one calm entity that only wished for hellfire on humanity. She quickly slammed the seeping spear onto the ground, forming a barrier around herself as he pillar came crashing down. It took all her might to hold the barrier still, and even then some of that blasted light came trough, crashing and burning against the flesh that held her together. Yet she would not scream or cry, for she was better than these beings. Her king would strike her down a thousand times if she cried. Four seconds might have been a quick time for most, yet for her at this moment it felt like an eternity.
By the time the barrage ended she dispelled the barrier. Her armor and whole body sizzled with heat from the intensity of the magic that had focused on her, yet she was mostly unharmed. Her joints burned, her armor was melting into her skin, but she could still move and battle... But she couldn't take another blast like that. Not at that intensity, not without another barrier. And Seelenschmaus could not keep her safe forever. So, she'd just have to deal with this problem quickly. The holy potential of that man was tempting, oh yes, perhaps she could even raise him as something more than a mere shambling weapon. But she should focus on greater things first... There was much to be wrought from this battle, such as that dragon's stone.
She quickly checked on how her men were doing. Five had burned and melted down into mere puddles of rotten flesh and bone from the pillar of light from the bitch saint, but most had managed to retreat back, although some had faced burns from the intensity of the holy force. A quick squint of her burning red eyes was enough to signify what she wanted. Ten warriors, armed and ready to fight, quickly ran towards Will. They couldn't kill it, not now not never, but they'd be an useful little distraction while she dealt with her new little friend.
"Gunther." Her word echoed, and a tall lumbering brute of a corpse answered. It quickly shambled over. Gunther had been a big guy in life, for his family. A carpenter, if she remembered correctly. Not that she cared too much. She placed her palm on the side of the corpse's head, mumbling a few words. Her eyes turned purple for a moment, her whole body and hand especially glowing in the same vein as a dark tar like pour of nectar left it. It slithered over and into Gunther's mouth, running inside it. The corpse fell on it's knees, groaning and twitching, until it soon rose... A similar red blaze in it's eyes.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH HEEEEEEEEEEELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HELP ME HELP ME HELP ME
While the voice was loud and begging for mercy, Gunther quickly drew it's weapon, a large warhammer, and set out a quick charge towards Remus. Madness meanwhile kept her distance from both, Seelenschmaus prepared.
