"I am tired of it!" A shout erupted from a carriage that was swiftly followed by a boot hitting the door. The fragile door swung open at the speed of summer lightning stopping on its own hinges. The newly open doorway to a fine white carriage revealed to the world a well dressed nobleman in a white suit sitting next to a very beautiful women in a pure white dress. Jumping down from both the carriage and his duty was a man clad in fine black clothing and a crimson cape. The emblem on his cloak showed that he was a officer in the forces of Tania, but his actions resembled that of a boar than a man of class and elegance. His fine boots smashed down in a slug of mud and animal dung that lined the road. In front of him were the moving rotting corpses of dead men, a sight that was slowly starting to become common in all parts of Lycia. There stench was a polar opposite to that opf the carriage that the man had just hopped out of.
"Driver", he roared! "Leave me and go straight to the castle. Don't stop the carriage for anything or anyone!"
"What?"
"Do what he says", shouted the nobleman in the back as he slammed the door. Only anger filled his eyes as he watched the acolyte stare down four undead abominations. There was no pity, no wish for his victory, only anger that his carriage was forced to stop. "useless peon", he spoke as the carriage began to roll away. Galahad did not mind, shoot he did not even look back. He was tired. Tired of seeing his great nation crumble all around him, tired of seeing the undead roaming around, tired of people living in fear. He became a soldier to bring glory and honor to Tania. He stayed a soldier to protect the lives of the people around him, and he took up magic to make his mother proud. Galahad knew what he needed to do. He needed to push this surge back, he needed to become a powerful mage, he needed to do something.
"In the name of the holy and the great saint herself I hereby cast you all into the void and free the corpses you have possessed!" By the time Galahad had finished his holy words the undead were already charging toward him. There claws at the ready and there teeth sharp for the kill. Galahad only had two things in his favor the first was the fact that he was on a hill, which made it harder for them to get to them. The last was the most important.
"Be gone", shouted Galahad as he swung his arm and small sparkles of light left his fingers. In a radiant gleam they fell upon the undead. It's flesh soon erupted into a rainbow of colors as its flesh turned into a radiant white, and then it was gone. The light exploded into a series of radiant color taking the creatures head and top part of its chest with it.
