No, Bowser's japanese name is King Koopa. They'll probably make Robot's name R.O.B..

(Wikipedia)Bowser, alternately referred to as King Koopa and known in Japan as simply Koopa... R.O.B. (Robotic Operating Buddy) is an accessory for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It was released in 1984 in Japan as the Famicom Robot and in 1985 as R.O.B in North America.
I didn't change these, I found them like this.

(More from Wiki)
The American cartoons and the Super Mario Bros. film consistently refer to Bowser as King Koopa or simply Koopa and almost never as "Bowser" (there are some instances where he states his full name as "Bowser Koopa"). In the Super Mario Bros Super Show, Bowser concocts many different schemes and often goes through many alter-egos, referring to himself in names that often mix "Koopa" with the appropriate alter-ego to act as parodies of various different figures in history and fiction, such as Count Koopula (Dracula) and Koopzilla (Godzilla).
... or Augustus Septemberus Octoberus Koopa.

NOT SO FAST KAIBA! You've activated my trap card! A.)So you activated a trap card to negate my Toon World, or to destory it? Not that it matters becuase I know what it was, it could of been dust tornato, dark bribe, magic jammer, magic drain, or soalum judgement. Just to stop you I chain my Royal decree and negate your trap card. B.)So you called me Kaiba, wrong that you are. My name is Maximillion Pegasus and now I'll use my Millennium Eye to banish you to the dark realm. Also Dirk, you just proved I was right about Bower being Koopa in the US. Thanks for doing the work for me

No I didn't, what kind of company is Nintendo? A movie company? A TV Show Company? NO! They are a gaming company, it didn't say anything about games! Bowser has been called 'Bowser' in North America since the begining of the series. Bowser has been called 'Koopa' in Japan since the begining of the series. Who cares what the Show and Movie writers thought?

True, there's a great reason for DiC(state company) to know his japanese name. The cartoon/movie is just like LoZ:mc, LoZ:fsa, and Loz:LttP(gba)... Nintendo had no say about it.

I remember being confused as a young child, thinking Bowser and Koopa were two different people.

Whatever, it doesn't really matter.
Fact is: His name in SSBB is Koopa, they will likely change this to Bowser for the US version.
