Interestingly enough, I knew Bowser was called Koopa, back when I was 3, I could read(though I didn't know any English). And I don't even know HOW I knew that back then.

Either way, Matt is right, if I remember correctly. He went by "(King)Koopa" until SMW, when he was first called Bowser.

I just got back from a friends house where I played Brawl. He somehow got a copy of the Japanese game, copied it onto a disk, and used a modded Wii to play it. Or something like that he says. It was great! It's now even harder to wait till it comes out in the US.

But Gamestop is haveing a SSBB Tournament Saturday and the one down the street from where I live is holding one, going to enter and hope to win. Then find a way to sneak across the street to gamestop to get my copy while I'm at work.... That's the good thing about gamestop being across the street from work.

I unlocked the last three characters today.

I gotta say they killed Link's boomerage. The Gale boomerage blows, but they did make Link faster but ruined his up B. It's basicly a stright fall after it, and his clawshot(that's what it's called right?) has a short range so that sucks. Other then the small changes Link is still my best. I was going to use Ike as my alt, glad I started to use him.

All of my friends are mad how they nerfed Marth, Peach, Fox, and Falco. They like how they combined the 64 Pikachu with the Melee one. One likes the new Game and Watch. Everybody I know hate's how they killed Mario. Ike has insain recovery. Pit is cheap and Snake sucks. Sonic is stupid fast and is meh. Toon link is freaking sweat but his bow sucks. Wolf is meh, never used the star fox characters myself. Diddy sucks, end of story no if and or buts about that one.

King Dedede SUCKS. The gamestop tournie I went to had random characters. I got Dedede, couldn't use him becuase wasn't used to the Wii mote(was the day before the game came out). Other person got a final smash and used it. I was lucky he was Donkey Kong and his final smash sucks.

With the exception of Diddy I disagree with just about everything you said.

I enjoy using Ike, but his recovery is terrible. Aether is nice ONLY as Verticle recovery, since it spikes completly at the end, giving you no time for horizontal recovery.

I'm mad about Ness because they nerfed a move that wasn't that good to begin with. PK Flash's explosion was made much smaller, so now the attack is almost completely useless.

Link's Up+B was nerfed, but that was good. Because it was just lands too good in Melee. He's still a good character, but not a god like he was before.

Fox is just good. He is still easily one of the better characters in the game.

Mario seems different, but I never used him enough to find out how.

Marth was nerfed, but he needed it. He was another character that was abused crap-less in Melee. Glad he is balanced out now.


Oh yeah, DKs final smash is actually very good. You have to press the A button in time with the beat of the song to make it strong.

Link's Up+b being nerf makes it a ton harder to recover becuase of the fact it's a stright fall after useing it. Since they had to f**k up the air dodge he has no recover after he's done spinning.

Not trying to be rude, you suck at recovery if you say Ike isn't that great at it. You don't always need Aether, his quick draw makes a great way to recover when you're to the side of the stage at any time as long as you're not blow it. The Aether has a high reach, I've made it back when close to the blast line useing it, and the fact it stops edge guarding before he gets there is good too.

Mario's forward smash is slower and weaker, they changed his down B. There was something else they changed but I forgot what my friends were saying it was.

But this I do know for a fact, Toon link recovers way to good. He almost just flys across the stage before you need the Up B.

Back to DK's final smash how is something that's close range only good? Even if it can be stronger it has no range meaning you have to be next to them to hit. It doesn't hit hard like the others so there's a chance that you might not KO them. Pit's final smash isn't that great becuase you can counter and dodge the angels. Peach's is broken if not close to it. Put's everybody to sleep while you heal, leave a few left so they stay sleeping and start to kill them.

Once I get the internet in a month or so I have to play you Aerious, atleast the first one I need to play on here.

And now about your comments.

If you do DK's FS right the range of it increases DRAMATICLY, as to the point where it can cover half of a level easily. Plus when it ends you have a fully charged DK Punch.

You do have a point with Ike, but overall his recovery is pretty Sub-par. Pit has great recovery, but he never needs it because he is so light. If he is hit, he is GONE.
