Except for the smash ball, I'm really not a fan of using items. In my opinion, there is no better way to take down your opponent than beating him/her to a bloody pulp using smash attacks alone.

Just smash attacks? That becomes predictable

Unless he's good at dodging, then yes, he should be easy to beat.

Even if you're good at dodging some characters can use projectiles to keep you trying to avoid something to be hit. I've got decent mind games with Link.

I've always been one to fight at close range. Kirby does my bidding for me.

Most Kirby players are predictable.

A lot of players are predictable. Whenever I'm facing someone on Wi-Fi and they pick either Fox or Falco, they always seem to spam side B (I play with the Gamecube controller). It gets annoying and predictable, and they're easily defeated.

I've yet to see a spam side b falco/fox. Fox it's spam gun then forward smash then always try to kill you with up smash.

I usually use Marth, but I can have my way with quite a lot of characters: Pokemon Trainer, Samus in both forms, Pikachu, Ike, Ness, Lucas and Falcon. And, of course, the puffy, pink ball of doom, Jigglypuff. The look on everyone's faces when I hit them with Rest in mid-air is priceless.

I'm good at sword characters and ninja's(falco and them), but I usually play as Marth....*dundundun!*
The random people the internet sets you up with are usually bad at the game. Though I've only played online about five or six times.

My best characters are Lucas, Sheik, Sonic, and Ike.
Like I said in my earlier post, I'm not a fan of using items, except for the occasional Smash Ball.

Mhm, items make the game's tide tilt to one's favor all too often. :< And yes, I like Ike, but he's a bit slow for my taste... I'm not him often, but sometimes.
