I vote Hector.He gets the Wolf Beil and Armads. Whenever I get him to lvl 20 my Hector always Caps Str and Def.If the RNG is in your favor. Also his Armads crit is awesome. And his promotion is awesome.

Cheap shot Rath.
DON'T USE ALTERNATE ACCOUNTS FOR VOTING.
IMO, there's not a "best" one.
Lyn has an awesome speed stat, with good enough strenght, 2x hits 90% of the time, a good critical hit ratio, and avoids a friggin lot(she was as good as Rebbeca dodging in my game). Also, her unpromoted critical hit looks cool.
Hector is the tank. Awesome HP, awesome defense, powerful attack, but he's quite slow, and has little magic resistance.
Elliwood is sort of a mix. He has higher HP and defense than Lyn, a good speed(higher than Hector's, and only a bit lower than Lyn's), better strenght than Lyn, but lower than Hector's... I didn't like his critical ratio, or hit critical hit animation, though.
I'd say Lyn's the most useful one.*prepares to get flamed*

And you can't use "CUZ I LIEK TEH ANIMATION!!!!!" in a debate, and thats what everybody is doing. -_-

I hate axe users, that's not a secret. That being said, Hector's one of my favorite lords (number two, under Ephraim...). He's a major tank, and his personality is awesome. I like Eliwood a lot too. Lyn, never really appealed to me. I mean, she's sort of... bland.

Told you, it's weird. It's based on personality, mainly. Though I do like Hector for a unit. I use Pirates and Gonzales from time to time. And I've started using Bartre. I just don't like them, they don't have the advantages the other two have.

If you put Hector vs Chuck Norris. It would be a draw. Hector would hit chuck just as hard and chuck would realize it's like fighting himself and decliar it a draw.

He never said any specific things, and his first sentence is like stating you can decide on anything. And I'm not basing my vote on critical hit looks, but rather on what I felt how I used the characters the most. Lyn was always a head unit in FE 7 for me, but so where Elliwood and Hector. The only thing that made me decide for her as the best, was the fact that she had a good damage rating(2x attack and hit critical), and that she was almost never touched by the enemy. Even spear/lance users missed a LOT against her. |
