As always, Evayl tuned out everything the second she was given a patient to help. She trotted over to him and then dismounted. She was slightly taken aback by the man's size, but Evayl decided to simply remain calm. Even though her surroundings were slightly chaotic, she could make a small world all for herself, where nothing was too strange.
For a while, at least.
"Sit still, sir, this will only take a second." Evayl said gently. She knelt down and pointed her heal staff at the man, trying not to wield it like a beating instrument(which is how she normally held the thing). Moments later, one of the man's wounds healed, then another, then another, and before long, he was free of the wounds she could see. Evayl scanned the man for a moment before looking him in the eyes. "Do you have any injuries elsewhere?" she asked. Even though she had told herself to remain calm, it was difficult. If this man was not a friend, then after she healed him he could quite easily break her neck or haul her off. He was quite large, and if he had no wounds, well...

As everyone began setting up tents, Mavick took a seat on a large and conveniently flat rock, crossing his legs beneath him. The little shaman held out his hands, cupped together as if to hold water, closed his eyes, and began murmuring uncoherent phrases, probably of an arcanic origin. A little spark of what appeared to be black flames flickered in his hands, twisting and weaving through itself to form a black orb. As the orb levitated just a few inches from his hands, Mavick felt something surge through his body, and then nothing.
He felt nothing, save the embrace of the Void. It held him close in its embrace, and whispered things into his ear. Promises of power, warnings of destruction, secrets lost in its clutches. As the Void in all its emptiness rushed over him, Mavick felt the peace of nothingness. And then, within a moment, it was gone. His eyes opened, the dark orb dissapating into the air, his hands falling into his lap. It had only been a moment, and yet, he knew it had been much longer. There was no time in the Void.
Becoming yet again a part of reality, Mavick slid off the rock and dusted off. He had duties to attend to. He needed to speak with Officer Abend, get a status report on the troups, see the damage to the fort in its entirety, calculate how long repairs would take, and other such duties. He also needed to find his brother. Then again, it was hard not to see Lyar, so that wouldn't be too hard. He'd go see Officer Abend.

Aevian watched the descent of the new dragon and felt a little panicked that it landed right near them. Not for the fact that it was yet another dragon, she had only seen one a few days ago, two, in fact, so she was a little dull in expression when it came to that. no, her panic rose from the large creature flaying in when the Eturian encampment was so close, that they may have spotted them.
Aevian was upfront watching the camp, making sure at the time, and since they took no visible notice to rally the troops, she settled down, but didn't want anything to do with the new arrivals, not yet, because she saw the Pegusus Rider come in with the injured man. With the Eturian armor in full view, Aevian already had her axe out in hand, ready to strike if need be.
Though being told to hold her ground, she didn't seem to relax at all. Instead, at the order to take the weapons off the two newcomers, she did so with quick following, and removed the axe from Lyar, and then moved over to Clair, holding out her hand, but also motioning to Aidan to hand it off to, should she prefer.
"Sorry hon, but I've gotta be taking that from you now."
Her red eyes seemed to be filled with humor, but she was more curious about a girl riding a Pegasus, being in the actual Eturian army. It was confusing to her, because she knew that the way mercenaries went, they usually kept their own colours, so they were easily identified...maybe things have changed...or she actually was part of the army and not Ilian at all.

Richter adjusted his collar, looking himself up and down in his dress robes. Without a mirror he couldn't really tell how he looked, but nevertheless, he felt weird. If there was anything Richter expected to wear in his lifetime, an Etrurian dress-robe was not one of them. It felt wrong. He was an soldier; a fighter. This was the battlefield. This was no time to be playing dress-up and gallivanting around in church. The High Officer sighed. He had to do this, especially if it put him on Ariston's good side. The closer he was to Ariston, the closer he was to Marcus's stone.
Draping his officer's cape over his shoulder, the pink-haired man patted his waist, feeling his sword through the cloth. This may have been a mass, but Richter wasn't going anywhere in this crowd without a weapon. Whether a surprise attack by the Sacaens or an assassin in the army who wanted him dead, his sword would prove useful. It shouldn't bother anybody. After all, the sword was concealed well by his robes. Nobody would notice it unless he drew it, and if Richter was forced to draw his blade, there would be bigger problems to worry about than mass-time etiquette.
All ready, Richter gave his robe one final tug then exited his tent, giving the campsite on final look over. It seemed like everyone was getting ready at due pace, but where was Clair? The High Officer looked to the sky. The messenger had been riding fast, but the pegasus rider should have gotten the job done by now. Had something gone wrong? If she bungled the mission, not only was she probably dead, but it would be Richter's head as well. No, it couldn't be. He had come to far to fail now. He'd just have to trust in his Assistant Officer. There wasn't much else he could do.

His attention never left the dragon. No one else seemed to even care, like it was commonplace. He was on the verge of yelling and asking what their problem was, but somehow he doubted that would help. It seemed there was two new people who rode on up, and one of them was Etrutian. His mind wandered for a moment, and he worried if they have been spotted. Their little group was in a bad spot for certain, stuck between an army and a hard (and firey, giant, and lizardy) place.
Aevian was up front, watching the army, and she didn't seem to be calling for us to get the heck out of here. So maybe these people were an isolated group, and hopefully not just a vanguard of what's to come. He looked out of the corner of his eye and made sure to keep the dragon in sights at all times.
Moving closer to the pegasus knight, he stood there in case she wanted to hand her weapon to him, but Aevian seemed to have that category covered. Still, him being around as some extra muscle couldn't be a bad thing.

(OoC: Mass time!)
The bells chimed and the men from Richter's group started pouring into the church. There was just enough space in the church to hold about half of Richter's forces. His most trusted men, the other half was new and didn't knew their leader well. They only joined after the Ostian debacle. Behind the altar stood Ariston and a few priests. Ariston gestured at Richter and motioned him to come closer. He put his hands on Richter's shoulder.
"Are all your men ready? I hope they're all here, I have a little speech. Purely inspirational." He smiled at Richter and patted him on the shoulder.
(OoC: Get in da church) (OoC: dragon-dudes, kindly wait with awesome-ness. Ariston has some stuff to say first. I mean, if you WERE planning something, of course)

OOC: Git to da church! -muahahaha-
At this point Rayl let his two allies deal with the two prisoners, before hearing the sound of ringing bells. Now this intrigued him, and he climbed over and onto the top of the hill and gazing down at the enemy encampment...he hadn't noticed the church they surrounded: that's what happens when when you focus on a mass amount of soldiers. He hardly wanted to miss mass, and would have just knelt down to pray, when an idea came to his head, and again he rushed over to the massive saddle bags on the side of his massive horse, pulling out bits and pieces of gray armor, along with a helmet...what was he thinking?!
With a grin, he looked up to the others for a brief moment, before removing his own heavier armor, and dawning the armor which now could be identified as Etrurian. It was the same armor he had worn during their escape from Delphia, after his plan to infiltrate their ranks was ruined by The Herald finding their hideout...he brought the set of armor in case he'd need a disguise while not being so defenseless.
...and soon he was wearing the helmet, brushing his hair over his eyes to further disguise his known appearance, and whispered into Elibe's ear,"Keep em safe ole boy." and turned back around to their captives, keeping his first lance and sword with, and then spoke more specifically the large blue haired Ostian," My good friend and brother of Lycia, might I use your horse for a moment?"

OOC: As I didn't want to make one giant post with the stuff of two people in it...
IC: At first Lyar felt intense pain, then he felt warm...very warm...not in a bad way though, it was so...soothing...and then the pain was gone as was the warmth.the big man looked himself about for wounds, then looked to the cute blond girl, and with a big smile he jumped her and gave her a hearty bearhug, and you couldn't blame him. If it wasn't for her, his little angry brother would be all alone in the world, as he was the only family and friend the midget magic man had left!
"My good friend and brother of Lycia, may I use your horse for a moment?" the impressive man, now wearing Etrurian armor, asked him, and the mig man smiled,"Of course you can Sir Rayl! I'm a big fan!" he remembered the book his brother read him, as he looked to the others,"Clair won't hurt you don't worry, she's a good person! She's my friend after all, and friends don't hurt friends!"
...he then realized he still had Evayl in a tight embrace, and he slowly let her go,"Sorry..." "I will return soon friends. This is the perfect opportunity to scout them out, make sure the woman with the pegasi doesn't fly away: by any means necessary." with this the Paladin rode down unnoticed by the Etrurians down the hill, and would soon join their ranks in the church. He didn't have anything against Clair: she didn't seem like a bad person, but war was war...

After a failed experiment involving a brush, mud, water, and a firespell Elias decided to just put his hood on instead. He rarely did such a thing, to the point he forgot his mage robe even had it half the time, but atleast it will cover his mess of hair and made him look more presentable... well a bit anyway. "Looks like I wasn't destined to be the best hairdresser ever... Oh well." He shrugged to himself and followed the mass of people heading towards the evil church.
There was... a lot of people there. A lot of gray. What was it with this army and gray? Gray was so boring, it needs to be more exciting like... like.. Red! Red, yes! This army really needed some red, needed to change it up.
He looked around for Kyro, but couldn't spot him. He was probably somewhere for more important people than him. Instead Elias just kinda stood around, not really sure what he was supposed to do... or what anyone was doing for that matter.

When the time came she handed her weapon down to Aevian without hesitation. She knew what would be required of her. Corona snorted, clearly still on his battle high from the minutes before, amd she reined him in. She herself stayed quiet though.
She saw him donning the Etrurian armor and getting ready ride down to the hill to the encampment. She heard the bells tolling as well, but didn't know as clearly what they meant. Only that some kind of church activity was about to take place.
She quickly rode around the two who had come over to take her weapons, though not at an obviously hostile pace. Leaving the her lance behind, she rode to the far side of the hill, where the army could see, and in a direction generally towards Rayl, just out of range of the infantry. Clair and her pegasus had become a usual enough sight for the army, and a lone Etrurian rider would be taken for a returning scout, but if too many came into view, it might begin getting suspicious. Knight of Lycia he might be, and rallying the enemies of the Prophet, but what he was trying to do ran counter to her own purposes and responsibilities.
"Sir Rayl. Your messenger made contact with us, assisting in the interception of a message on it's way directly to the Herald. This was ordered by my High Officer. If your rider had not crossed our paths, we likely would have failed to stop it. Further, you aided my friend Lyar when he was injured. I hear that you are rallying the lands against the Prophet. I also am in an army opposed to him."
Clair didn't know where the strength for this was coming from. Her Commander depended on her to be there when needed though, so she kept on, playing now for keeps.
"I must get back to my Commander, and the way I see it, there is nothing you can do to stop me from flying there unhindered, unless you wish to show your dragon friend to the army." She nodded towards the young man she had seen. Yes, she'd had experience with a dragon already.
She turned and called back to Lyar. "I'm sorry friend, but we couldn't return to the army together regardless, as we couldn't have any suspicion. I hope you understand why I have to get back." She wasn't fearful for him. They'd already proven that they weren't hostile towards the Ostian pirate.
She looked back towards Rayl now, fixing a gaze on the intimidating Knight. Letting him know that she was deadly serious. "When I get back, I won't sound the alarm on you, but you should know that I've seen some of the officers stop the scouts coming in with no purpose in mind than to harass them. As Assistant Officer to High Officer Abend, I can get you past that."
There. The stakes were set. Now, if he truly was trying to gather the enemies of the Prophet, he would have to think this through.

Everyone had been called into the church, so Marcus filed into the back. He hadn't come in because he was a religious person, he just didn't want to let Ariston out of his sight. Not while had still held his dragonstone. Marcus pulled his hood on and blended into the back. He would strike Ariston when he least expected it, but the time wasn't now.

Guinevere entered the church fully dressed up. She smiled to herself; she felt most at home in armor, second most in a dress. She wore a pale pink dress that really seemed to glow on her. She had several braclets on her arms and a matching bow in her hair neatly. The soldier got quite a few glances over as she walked to a seat in the middle of the rows, but she didn't care. She loved being dressed but and no amount of jerks would change that.
She looked around as she sat there, picking out the various people she knew in the unit. It was weird to see everyone so dressed up. She gave a little giggle when she saw Commander Richter. It didn't take a mind reader to tell that the Commander wasn't a big fan of wearing such fancy clothes. She settled in and waited for everything to start, playing with her bracelets as she did.

As the Pegasus rider flew off before she even had a chance to go for her hand axe, to which she would throw at the girl and her winged horse, the rider and steed were already down the hill and with Rayl, grumbling a bit, she leaned on the lance, digging the tip of the long weapon into the ground and rested against it, looking to Aidan with a small shrug of her shoulders, and then regarding the Ostian with a non-chalant look.
"Well, guess we fucked up."
Aevian gave a small laugh as she spun Lyar's axe between her fingers, and looked on at the lights of the camp as they were finally all lit, so she thought. Reaching into her pouch, she took a thing of salted beef, and ripped into it hungrily.
All this waiting around was waisting time, this may be fortuitous for Rayl, but it was not part of her game at this moment. Bern was the only thing important for her, so she teetered on the idea of just abandoning the group to make haste by herself, or to wait and get drawn into a possible conflict.

The pegasi rider followed behind him, and he was quite ready to take her down himself when he heard her speak, and let her continue before he would pass any judgement. Once she finished talking, only one thing was on his mind: Commander Abend? He knew the last name well, more specifically, one member of the family in particular," Commander Abend, hmmm? First name, if I may so inquire, is Richter?" he knew the man well, as he smirked," If so, you will have to take me to him, I have some..." he shifted his lance a bit, as if showing his intentions,"...catching up to do, I guess you could say..."
The pair made it to the outer guard, who addressed them with sneers and the sort, one man going so far as to point his sword at the horseman, though this hesitation stopped when a lance was near his throat," Do not antagonize me grunt, I have an urgent message from my company's High Officer, the rest of my advance group will arrive shortly." The guard, not wanting to get swatted down, let him through, giving a wink at Clair for a particular reason, while Rayl made his way for the church, dismounting and entering, sitting down next to some blond haired woman in a fancy dress.
He made sure to leave his lance with the horse, but his sword was kept on his side...
...meanwhile Elibe snorted as it trotted over to Aevian, sniffing at her hair, snorted at the realization that it wasn't hay, and then turned it's attention to that blue haired man that was roughly it's own height. He was pretty massive, but Elibe simply ignored any threat from him as they seemed like such a nice person, before he went back to grazing on the grass near them, looking up and watching over them for awhile, looking to the church his friend had entered, then back to the grass...just another day at the office...

Lyar meanwhile stood happily where he was, before watching the woman with his axe spin it around. He couldn't blame her, having to sit around here was pretty boring. sitting down on a large boulder, he just twiddled his thumbs for awhile, before looking back to the people, "I'm Lyar, by the way...thanks again for helping us out." while he was technically a prisoner of war, even though being on the same side...something he didn't make sense of too much...
"So...now what? Having to sit around here IS pretty boring...anybody have any ideas what we can do to help Sir Rayl?" Lyar wasn't one for planning, and the man who helped/captured them was nice and apparently on the same side if Richter was planning a rebellion like he thought he was...and then he had an idea," Oh wait! what if I were to lead you guys to them saying I captured you- no wait, that wouldn't work...they think I'm some think skulled imbecile...uhhhh..."
