He smiled and gave her a quick kiss, "Maybe, it depends on my mood." He said, laughing. "Now come on, let's get out of this alley." He took her hand and started out of the alley, "Besides, if you had wanted to win, you would have run quieter," he joked.

Chelsea followed as she was lead out of the alley. "I was quiet! It's not fault you have super hearing! It's cheating! I should win by default!" She kept pouting as she hopped up onto Kashmir's back. She looked down at him seriously. "I'm gonna get you back for this. Be afraid. Be very afraid." She fought hard to keep a smile from forming on her face, though it tugged on the corners of her mouth.

It wasn't really that long after Mikar had left her, about ten or so minutes, perhaps more, perhaps less. Either way, Saffra couldn't keep track of time, as her mind was rather lucid at the moment. Clerics and doctors had done all they could to heal her wounds, but she still had bandages wrapped around her, almost from head to to, most unseen under her clothes that had been provided, simple white linen garments, a dress. Giving a pained look as she stood up fully, she didn't realize how weak she was. Oh, how the mighty had fallen, a dragon who had kept an entire building up for minutes on her back and shoulders, was now weak as a babe, unable to walk properly.
She needed to walk around though, she was restless, and then 'drug' that they had given her to dull the pain was working, but it also worked against her inhibitions. She was out of it, plain and simple. With her hands on the wall, and slumped against it, she pulled herself forwards, digging fingernails into the wood and pulling herself forwards. Her dragonstone lay firmly between her breasts, upon a necklace, which looked rather natural, a white and blue mixed stone.
Eventually, her body spilled out into the common room, where there were people. Wobbling a bit, she smiled as soon as she saw Gabriel, and walked to him, as if her balance was regained, and gave him a gentle hug, which probably hurt him as much as it hurt her, but still, she was glad he was okay.
"Thank the Stars, you are alright...for awhile, I had dreaded I might have killed you.."
With a small laugh, she released the boy, and stumbled back, looking to the archer yellow eyes narrowed, trying to see who exactly he was, she saw him briefly, but was never introduced to him.

Yaen nodded in approval. "My name is Yaen of the Amasi." He stated. "Your training begins tomorrow." The Sacaen gave his hand a tight squeeze, then released it, and he merely walked away. (OoC:I'll be gone all this week, on a 'vacation' you might say.))

Just after Harlow had been wondering where she was, Saffra appeared out of a doorway, wearing plain linen clothing, bandaged up and looking haggard and a little delirious. She gave Gabriel a hug and then stepped back to stare at Harlow quizzically. Well, this is as good a time as any, I guess, Harlow thought.
"Lady Saffra! I'm glad to see that you are up and about so soon! Ah, I don't think we've actually met... My name is Harlow. I was there when the dragon - that is, you - I saw what you did. That must have been incredibly strenuous, even for you... I just wanted to say 'thank you.' That was very, very brave. And it's thanks to you that most of us are still alive - Mikar in particular." He smiled at her to let her know he was sincere. He had many more questions for her - particularly about that milky, luminous blue stone hung about her neck - but he figured it would be impolite to pry, especially with her in this condition, so he decided to save them for another time.

Wyatt had been up for a bit. Battered, beaten and burned, but still alive. The doctor had been so busy dealing with his other patients, that he had allowed a passing healer to aid him in treating some of the injured. Wyatt saw the blond boy pass through his field of vision as he got to his feet, and he waved. They passed a polite smile between each other and both continued on their way.
Wyatt walked down the stairs, slightly lopsided due to his injuries, but for the most part all right. He walked into the main room, and looked about to see who was there as he passed the door frame.
"Hello?" He asked tentatively.

OOC: Forgot this guy was in Laus didn't you?
IC: Valorian had been on the scene quickly when he'd heard of a battle at the magic academy, the scene might have stunned him if his life had been more peaceful. As soon as he got there, though, it was over and he began the healing process. No matter which side they were on, he was working tirelessly to save everyone he could...that was all he could do now.
It felt like hours he'd been working without rest when the nurse pushed him out of the makeshift hospital they'd made by the school for immediate treatment. And so he went to the real doctor's hospice to help there.
He'd just finished treating a young smith boy when he'd went to move downstairs to check on the other patients. His staff clacked on every step as he walked slowly down the stairs.
"Is everyone all right down here?" He asked, looking about the room. One would never know when a new person was dug out of the rubble.

He winced in pain as the man squeezed his injured hand, but he didn't say anything. Then, just as sudden as he came he was off again. Leaving nothing but a short introduction, a schedule of what to come and then he was off. "Not a talkative one I take it..." What did I just get myself into? Hopefully this would all turn out for the best... if not he could always fake his death and run home, that would work.
He thought he heard Kelvin and Chelsea before he went downstairs, then suddenly stopped hearing them. It seems they left together, and that was for the best. It would be best to put them out of his mind for now, he had something new to focus on. Still... all that chaos earlier... The school, the mages, Sir Tihn...
He thought he heard voices, one of them sounded familiar, but he didn't really reply. He was a bit absorbed in his thoughts, and he seriously doubted anyone would really want to speak with him. It might be best just to leave and look at the city, his chance to earlier being ruined by tragedy.

Kelvin climbed onto his horse, rolling his eyes at Chelsea, "I'm so afraid," he said sarcastically, getting Kashmir going at a nice easy trot. They rode in silence for a minute, then a thought sprang into Kelvin's head. Preparing a quick plan, he then fell off of his horse, and lay face down on the ground, looking like he was in pain.

"Brave?"
Saffra's head tilted like a dog hearing a high pitched sound. Her gaze grew a bit heavier as he just blurted out her being a dragon in the company of not just themselves, but of the clinic staff and clerics. Looking back and forth, she took a bite of her lower lip, and saw some eyes on her, but they lingered for a moment, before moving on.
With a deep sigh of relief, she gave a level look at the archer and crossed her arms infront of her, but eventually, a small smile broke her lips once she released her lip from her teeth. Shaking her head slowly, so she wouldn't lose her balance, and looked at her feet, and then to the ceiling, feeling a bit bashful.
"I don't need um, thanks, but you are welcome...It's a wonder I'm alive, that could have killed me as easily as any of you."
Her eyes went to whoever this new face was, and her eyes narrowed on the boy with a staff, and mulled his face and voice over in her mind Aproaching him, she looked down at im with an odd smile on her lips.
"Mmm...don't I know you?"

Chelsea gasped. "Kelvin!" She quickly jumped off his horse and ran back to him. She was so worried he was hurt, although she didn't understand how he had fallen off his horse in the first place. But that didn't matter right now. All that did was that he had fallen and was hurt and she needed to do something. She knelt down next to him. "Kelvin...?" She asked in a soft voice. "Are you ok?"

Valorian sensed himself addressed, and looked up to see the taller women in front of him. He met her gaze with a smile, that quickly fell away after a moment.
Yellow eyes...yellow reptilian eyes....could she be? The one that was....
His gaze faltered for a moment as he turned from her, looking of to the side. If she had been that dragon, he did not want her to have more time to recognize him.
"I don't believe so ma'am, must be a case of mistaken identity." He moved to go across the room, but wound up catching his foot on a loose piece of bandage, slipping on to the ground. His staff clattered noisily across the floor as he moved to right himself.
He still seemed intent on dodging her gaze.

Saffra gave him this rather blank look, not sure if she should be disappointed or relieved, because she didn't know who the child was, but it did seem a bit familiar. With a shrug, she eyed his staff, and eyed it for some time, tantalized by its amazing appearance. Shaking her head, she looked back to Valorian, and smirked at him, seeing his discomfort. Normally, she would have been hurt by the way he was acting, but right now, she was too doped to know any better, and leaned in close, as his face looked from her own, and cupped a hand so she could whisper into his ear.
"Relax...I won't eat you.."
With a small giggle, she bounced on her toes, and took a step back from him, patting his shoulder as she turned and eyed a piece of art on the wall, humming softly to herself a song that was long dead in this era.
"My name is Saffra, pleased to meet you."
Her head turned back to Valorian, and flashed a toothy smile.

When Harlow saw how Saffra reacted to his comment, he wondered if he had said something wrong. But he didn't have time to question it before a young healer Harlow didn't recognize had entered the room and stumbled to the ground.
"Woah, there, friend! You all right there?" He asked, as he moved to retrieve the stranger's staff for him. After Saffra spoke something to the boy, he continued, "Hey, did you just come from the patient's quarters? I don't suppose you know the condition of a young mage who was unconscious in there?"

Valorian heard her comment, and managed to whisper back.
"I'm not worried about your blood." He managed out, before standing up and dusting himself off with his right hand, looking about for his staff. When he spied it, he moved quickly to retrieve it from the other man. "Ah, sorry. I am called Valorian, and a young mage? I've treated quite a few young mages today, can you perhaps be more specific?"
He adjusted his cloak to ensure it was covering his left side. Thankfully, it had not fallen away when he fell.
