Grayson lit up as he was chosen to go with the rest on their mission. He was hoping that he would have companions some day down the line and this was far sooner than expected. He was pondering the sort of adventures he would have when Aaron spoke up.
"I'll be able travel without too much suspicion. I've always wanted to follow in the footsteps of my Grandfather, and travel the nations as a... geographer of sorts. I figure that a wandering storyteller would be more welcome though, and be welcome at many an inn besides." Grayson suddenly had his disguise as well. He reached into his right pouch and produced three balls that he kept with him and began to skillfully juggle them.
"And I can masquerade as a traveling juggler! I am quite adept, you know. I had to do something while holed up in my family's manor all my life, after all!" he tossed one of the balls higher than normal and followed it up with the other two. As they began to fall, he spun and caught each ball as it reached his arm level. Finished with his finale, he struck a jesterly pose and flashed a big smile.

As Jade watched Grayson juggle with the balls... At least, that's what Jade thought was juggling, Jade decided that he should also persuade them that he too had a good disguise for the journey.
"I definitely will not stand out, I mean, who would suspect a young boy for anything bad?", Jade said aloud, confidence creeping into his voice. "Also, I will be able to help you get audiences with Queen Hellene which may help..."
OoC: Has this become a disguise fest or something?

Mernatel bit hi lip other than fighting he had no skill. And he wasn't very practeced at that itself. It sounded like the others would end up seeming to be some sort of traveling circus caravan. Maybe he should be a strongman. But what was the purpose of doing that in Bern? Going around a town picking things up. When most of the men his age or older could pick the heavy object or what have you with just a little more degree of difficulty.
So he settled on the easiest option. It would probably be rejected once it left his mouth. It left, "I'll be a Mercenary protecting you all, if I run into anyone I know. Well I left after being discharged."

"That is fine, Rayl. The fewer we are the better our chances of going unnoticed" Gabriel said, answering the Paladin's question.
"And I suppose disguises would be useful. Just in case someone actually asks who we are. I'm sure I could pull a magic trick or two and play the part of magician" he said, reluctantly. When did this become a freak show again?
"Either way, the sooner we head out the sooner we can be back here and be of use in case Etruria makes a move" he added, looking at who was to come with them. He had seen Grayson's terrible archery skills, and Jade's fireball, while effective, showed little power. As for the rest, he only truly knew of Aaron's and Rayl's skill. Wait, when did he become a critic? It seemed like only yesterday when he could barely form a fireball or throw it a few feet in front of himself.

"I have no idea what kind of cover would be best for me. Magician's assistant maybe? Or just a traveling noble?" She shook her head. "I don't know, any ideas?" She wasn't asking anyone particular, just in general. This was getting exciting, it was like being back under Commander Ritcher's command again. She wonder who she'd be working with on this. It could be very interesting. Plus, it would be nice to see how most of these people were in combat. She leaned back to Rayl ans whispered, "And Rayl, it's De Altberg for future references."

Roland crossed his arms and leaned back on the side of the building. A short laugh. "Well, so much for a small group." He muttered wryly. "It seems everyone wants to come along." He thought it over in his head and laughed again. "Well, anyway, you shouldn't need to worry about me. I'm just some soldier, though... Ah nevermind." He waved his hand in front of his face dismissively, "It wouldn't be hard to come up with a new identity if it was required, though I heartily disbelieve such a thing would be necessary. If anyone asks, I'm just a bodyguard."
He turned his sights to the children wanting to join along, and he couldn't help but let out a small sigh. This wasn't really a game, juggling? Really? He shouldn't complain as he had no real right to be here either, but it didn't stop it from annoying him. Oh well, atleast he would get free travel and meals. Hopefully a tidy sum of gold as well for Soldier pay. Hopefully Rayl pays better then Kraft. He preferred cash to Righteous Genocide any day.

As they all began forming some sort of Traveling perfomance group as a cover, Rayl watched with amusement and faint nostalgia as Grayson began juggling: he used to love the jesters at the local festivals around this time of year...too bad he didn't get to attend them often nowadays. Turning around, the paladin quickly took a quick scan of the area behind him before raising an arm up to beckon to three soldiers, a smile on his face as Guinevere whispered her last name into his ear...
...they REALLY needed to get to know each other more.
The first to arrive was a young man in his twenties, who flew in and landed on Fang and gave a quick bow from his saddle before patting the scaly beast on the neck.
The second man to appear was an older man, most likely in his early to mid fourties. He wore a large coat on top of a light blue shirt and with leather pants that matched his jacket. His most distinquishing feature, however, was his rather impressive moustache and the rapier at his hip. This man nodded to his commander, then stared at the man who had just finished juggling, then eyed that kid and that woman, both with the blond hair suspiciously. This was met with a glare from the paladin, and the gentleman turned to look around as if his behavior had not happened.
And the third man? He was just a young cavalier, just getting used to fighting on horseback, his lance adhorned with the symbol of the Golden Lance.
"Alright then. Sir Florance: Fly out and deliver Lady Lucy a message as to where we are headed, in case we need to rally the whole of the Golden Lance, if not the whole of Pherae's troops." The Wyvern rider gave a respectful nod to his commander and was about to take off when the beast charged forward and licked Aaron a second time before it then took off, letting out some sort of farewell shriek.
"Inigo," at this, the older swordsman turned back to face The paladin, and gave a bow...though that suspicious side glance to that orange haired man was not left unnoticed,"...You will accompany Gabriel and the others." The man gave a nod, then turned to the group and spoke in a thick and forced Pheraen accent: obviously a cover up,” Looks like we’re traveling together. Name’s Inigo D- Donovan, Knight of Pherae.”
“Sir Diego,” Rayl looked to the nervous young cavalier at his side,” You’ll accompany me to the Ilian Emissaries. We’ll ride ahead of the others, thus drawing any attention from them to us.” The paladin then gave a slow nod to “Sir Donovan”, and then patted Elibe on the side, and the two horsemen were off, joined at the gate by another cavalier and a small supply wagon.

"If no one minds, then, we'd better depart now" Gabriel said, and then noticed a trio nearing them.
Wait, Lady Lucy? Are there any news of her...? Last I know she was gathering info in Laus
His thoughts were suddenly thrown out of the window after Rayl mentioned his name. It wasn't until after the oldest of the three men spoke that he realized why Rayl had said his name.
For the love of...who does he think he's fooling? Hopefully he's better than that while in combat Gabriel thought, sighing.
"Pleased to meet you, Sir Donovan. I'm Gabriel Waltz, former Etrurian noble" he copper-haired mage said, extending his hand to the man. He was obviously older than Rayl, but the man's soul felt just as strong as the Paladin's. Who was this guy?

"Well... It looks like we've got an entire little show here." Aaron said as the others all chimed in. "Just so long as we don't let ourselves get carried away."
That was when the green-haired mage was licked so strongly that it knocked him back, off his horse, and down on his back. It was Rayl's wyvern again. Confounded creature.... The mage glared after it, but otherwise kept his remarks to himself.
After taking a moment to recover, stand up, and dust himself off, Aaron gave a small wave of greeting to the new member of their group. "And I'm Aaron Winsett. Traveling..." Just what did he do anymore? He'd have to find something to call himself. "I guess I'm still counted as a mage."
Anyways, Gabriel had mentioned something about heading out a moment before, so Aaron went ahead and remounted Fable, who had for some reason not spooked into a gallop at the charge of the wyvern.

I... had kinda hoped to have gone along with Rayl... However, if this was where the majority of people is headed well I guess that's where the money will be. Pity. I found Rayl really interesting. My empty pockets are even more interesting, however. Roland left his wall he was leaning on, looking all stereotypically mysterious and stuff. Still, it was easier then plain standing, so he put up with the stereotype and cliche for the sake of convenience. Clasping his hands together and summoning a wide smile, he looked at the rest of his group.
"Well then. We shouldn't dawdle." He was assuming they would meet up with Rayl again in the future. "Oh, and for the sake of convenience I'll introduce myself to all of you. I'm Roland Hawkthorne." He said with his happy face on. He spoke loud enough that the group of ten or so people would hear him, especially with the temporary vacuum of sound created by Rayl departure. Well, a vacuum being filled with the introduction of a gentlemanly figure that called his self 'Donovan' but Roland couldn't shake the feeling he's seen the man before. He had a suspicion after adding up a bit of memories and evidence, but kept it silent, if it was true it'd work itself to the surface soon enough.
So, it was to Bern was it? Bern...

After traveling with so many people for a while, Karina had gotten sick. She was not used to being around people, or being on the move so much. So for mush of the journey, she stayed in the background, not saying much, and doing very little. But she had gotten better recently. She thought about it a bit, and decided it would be best to offer her help to the rest of the group. She was still a bit shaky on her feet, but her arm was now strong enough to wield her lance once more. "Sir Rayl!" she yelled to the paladin before he took off. "Excuse me, but what should I do? Should I go with you, or back up the others?"

Wait-what?
Stopping Elibe as he turned to spot a girl with Green hair, he squinted his eyes to get a better view of her from the distance he was at, only to realize it was that pegasi knight who had come with that lady friend of Kelvi- Karina, that's what her name was! "Lady Karina! You'd best come with me, it would be hard to pass off a rider like yourself as a member of a traveling circus!"
...That and he'd most likely need the added support and a fast messenger if needed.
EDIT: didn't see that coming. Welcome back Karina!

"Looks like we'll be traveling together. Name's Inigo D-Donovan, knight of Pherae."
He could have come up with a better way of introducing his false self but...he was just glad that Sir Rayl kept his identity secret, as always...he was a good man.
THESE people, however, should NOT be trusted. Gabriel he had seen before, and obviously Rayl took a shine to the young mage, so he was trustworthy, and if that great beast would sooner lick that green haired boy than maul him, he must be trustworthy...
BUT THE REST OF THEM. First there was that Blond haired little boy. Kraft had spies of all ages. That boy could very well be sent here to gut the whole of them in their sleep, and no one would suspect a thing from the little boy, oh St. Elimine, no!
Then there was that brown haired man...The name Hawkthorne was not unknown to Inigo, but he wasn't about to embrace the fellow Etrurian: He'd sooner ram his blade through the man's black heart...at least that's what he thought of this "Roland"...bah, using the name of a dead lycian hero to guise themselves...clever, but not clever enough!
And then there was the golden haired woman. From the brief things he'd heard her say, and the dozens of things he'd heard the men around the estate say, she was obviously some Etrurian Wench...and in Sir Rayl's favor, no doubt...Bah! She was probably some assassin who was going to slit the man's throat anyways! Good thing he left her in this group...yes...he'd have to make sure none of them ruined the plan...especially that boy...
and let's not forget about those others: That scruffy black haired man: under groomed and obviously of poor breed. Probably some good for nothing Brigand who'd probably try and kill the lot of them at night and take their coin purses!
Then there was that socially inept armored man, who from what he heard through the grapevine, was from Bern...while he didn't have anything against Bern, this man could very well be on the side that wasn't their's.
There was also that green haired girl with the flying horse that appeared out of nowhere. She seemed trustworthy enough, though was obviously Ilian, and Ilians could easily be their enemies soon enough...and were her fellows worth more to her than her companions?
And let's not forget about that purple haired man...if that WAS his hair that is. He looked Pheraen, and thus MUST be trustworthy...though whether he was good in a fight was to question.
That was it then, Protect gabriel, that green haried man, and that purple haired(is it hair?) man...
...all these dark thoughts were hidden behind an otherwise blank expression as he gave a light tug at the reins of the horse behind him: They'd need to travel quickly.
...it's a wonder he's made it through working with The Golden Lance, isn't it?
OOC: Well then, that summarizes Inigo's thoughts on people rather well...

Jade watched as more people came up and a Pegasus Knight left with Rayl. He then watched as a man dressed in weird blue clothing, with a weird aging face stand up and greet everyone. However, Jade, being young and more sensitive, noticed a slight hostility coming from the man's voice, most of it being directed at him, and Jade started fidgeting a little uneasily.
"Binnie... This man is... Hostile...", Jade whispered to Binnie, who was standing beside him the whole time, not saying a single thing, even as he was skipped over by Rayl.

So much had happened in the past few minutes that Grayson almost spun from the impact. It was decided that Sir Rayl was to take a few mounted soldiers ahead to do.... something. Grayson didn't quite grasp just what it was they were to do, but he was sure he would have fun finding out. The hunter was to accompany Gabriel and most everyone else he met that morning. On top of the placements, a trio of soldiers arrived. They didn't leave much of an impression save for the man with the magnificent moustache. Grayson walked up to the man after his introduction told in a very odd sounding accent.
"Well met, sir! I am Grayson Pintel. I must say, that was a very fine accomplishment on your lip. It is rare to see a fellow man as me so devoted to luxurious hair styles!"
