Grayson looked around slightly dazed by the whole affair. He really needed to pay more attention to things. First not realizing that he dropped one of his juggling balls and then not noticing that he had vaulted himself off a cliff trying to catch it. More zoning out like that could cost him his life.
"N-not... exactly, Aaron. But I suppose you could say I was just... hanging around." the bad pun as a result of light shock sailed over even Grayson's head. He staggered and then headed back tot he camp.
"I'm..." the novice archer cleared his throat before continuing, "I'm ready to leave when you are. Just allow me to get Mr. Cobblepot ready."
Grayson reached his belongings and secured his several pouches and quiver on his belt and his weapon on his back. The archer turned to his horse and untied the rope he was using as a makeshift bridle from the tree limb the white steed was tied to.

Aaron waited impatiently during the brief moments it took for Grayson to get Mr Cobblepot ready to go. Once that was taken care of, he started off, then remembered the people still at camp. Just leaving them would feel wrong.... But he really needed to get going.
"Um... I'm heading to town, now. I'll probably see you all there...."
So, they were on their way. Aaron's strides were long, and fast, so they made good time, despite his being on foot. He needed to move. Currently, the sense of doing something was the only thing that seemed able to set him at ease.
--Timeskip again--
They neared the town. It was medium sized.... It probably had a name. It was just a short trip east of the capital, so it almost certainly had a name. Aaron couldn't think of it though. Something was pulling him to find a library. Maybe he felt the need to go over the notes he'd gathered on that prophecy, or the monsters. To look for more information... That was probably it, but still, there was something nagging at him.
"Mr. Cobblepot? Where do you get a name like that?" The question finally revealed itself to Grayson, as they clipped along the road.

Wyatt may have played the fool, but he knew all along what was going on. Aaron was pre occupied with something, and things like this, a man just had to do alone.
So what could he do? Simple, nothing. He let Aaron go, with not a word or remark. He acted as if he had no idea he was going to go. And that evening, Wyatt himself vanished into the plains of Sacae, continuing his own quest.

OoC: I assume we just ignore whatever happened before the timeskip and just go on with whatever is going to happen after the timeskip?
Also, I apologise for my inactive weekend, I had to take a very important test as well as a national competition this week. Been a busy week, lol.
On a side note, anyone know where Sabin is? He's holding up our support thread.....
BiC: Xavier lifted his head up. He had been partly asleep, still being tired from the long talk the night before. Xavier felt slightly better about his predicament, being slightly more relaxed and carefree today than he had in the previous days.
Apparently, they had reached a town. Xavier had no idea where the town was and where they were at the moment, but he knew one thing, that he was glad that they had arrived at a town. Now he would be able to enjoy some of the luxuries of living in a town, although Xavier partly hoped that the group would have a little extra money to pay for Xavier's portion as well.

"Well it just seemed like a good name at the time. My parents named him something else, I can't remember what, but it didn't suit him at all. A regal steed demands a regal name. Mr. Cobblepot exudes a feel of grandiose, proper royalty. If he were human, I would put good money down that he would sport a fine mustache." Grayson responded as he led his horse by the hemp rope that acted as it's bridle to their next destination. Normally, the archer would ride his steed, but his lack of any kind of saddle at the time made that particularly difficult. Not to mention the fact that his mage friend apparently didn't see the need in mounting his own horse.
"Why do you ask? I would assume that the reasoning behind his name would be obvious." Grayson inquired with an air of unassuming frankness.

OoC: No worries Xavier. Also, no idea where Sabin is.
Another thing: Fable ran away. Aaron's horse is running north, away from the magic explosions, as fast as he can.
BiC:
Aaron glanced behind for a moment, and recognized the blue haired healer that had spent the night at their camp. He hadn't noticed when he'd started following them, but it didn't make much of a difference to the mage. Moving onward, he kept his same, steady, ground eating pace.
"Hmmm.... I would have thought a name like Norman, or Richard.... Maybe William, would have garnered that regal feel, but if you like Mr. Cobblepot, don't let me change your mind.
Ahead, the buildings of the town were layed out before them. A few mounted guards could be seen in the streets, but it looked like most had been pulled away to the Capital for the impending execution. Some notorious rebel figure.... "Aidan", the mage thought his name was. Nearby, there were a few shops and stalls with their keepers parked behind the tables, but what attracted the most attention, in all its worn, but sturdy glory, was a large tavern. Right across from it was a good sized inn, with matching stables. The two probably did good business like that.
"Well.... Civilization."

The mage stood for a moment. Something wasn't quite right. He felt like he was supposed to be doing something.... Something he just couldn't quite recall.
"... Why don't you two head down to the tavern, and look for something to eat.... Or up some of our rations, or something...." The mage seemed a bit distant. Whatever it was he was trying to remember was really starting to nag at him, but unlike most other things, he couldn't bring himself to ignore it.
A word or two came to mind, and the mage knew that it was connected with whatever was hiding in the recesses of his mind: Arum Lily. What he didn't understand was how it was connected. It was... a flower.
"I'm... going to look around and see if there's a library."
Libraries always helped him to think, it seemed. Plus, he was in a habit of checking everyone he encountered for knowledge pertaining to the picture he'd sketched down, and the information he'd gathered on "The Old Mystery."
Eventually, he did find a library. Well, it was more of a book store, actually, but it didn't make much difference to the mage. He spent his time looking for old information on dragons, prophecies, Elimine, light magic, and Rolands tomb. This was normal for Aaron, but he simply couldn't seem to pull himself together. The result was zero progress.
Setting the last book back on the shelf with a sigh, the mage couldn't help himself from glancing around one more time. The small planter of flowers near the window made him stop, and remember the flower name hed thought of before. That was when the memory of the dream hit full force. It was like a dream, and yet, unlike a dream. It had been like a vision. Even, like a normal conversation. Lilith, spirits, Arum Lily.
The mage stood stock still, as he processed these thoughts. So still that the shopkeeper noticed.
"Excuse me, Sir. Are you alright?"
Aaron wasn't honestly sure what to say to that, question, but he knew where he was going to go now.
"I'll be fine. Thankyou." With that, the mage walked out of the business. His feet moving helped him think clearer than if he stood in one place, or so he hoped.

"Hmm-mm", Xavier muttered as the mage gave his instructions to the group.
With this, Xavier assumed that the mage had probably decided to help pay for his portion as well, and so, Xavier followed the rest of the group that was still there, the brute Sabin, and the archer... was it Grayson or something?... to the tavern on a slightly higher note than when he had started the day, already daydreaming about all the luxuries of city lifestyle again, having spent so long away from any cities already.

Eventually, the mages feet took him back to the fringe of the town, where they'd entered. He knew where he needed to get to. Lilith was in Etruria. She had to be. A dream like the one he'd had wasn't one of the normal crazy dreams that came from getting in fights, and inhaling too much smoke, and such.... Hah Normal crazy dreams. An oxymoron.
Aaron laughed, eliciting a few odd looks from the surrounding people.
Damn that beast! Damn her to blood and bloody ashes!! Aaron cursed silently in his head. A part of him idly noted that he was, in fact, cursing. He never did that. It was just a sign of how much anger, frustration, and.... fear... he was feeling for Lilith. He raged at his inability to help, and was singly dedicated to rectifying that issue. The only thing holding him back.....
The mage looked in the tavern that he'd just sent suggested that Grayson and Xavier should go to. He caught sight of the purple and blue hair of his friend and his new companion, but hesitated to go and speak to them. They'd probably be safer if he simply left them here. Aaron wasn't expecting to die simply because he had too much confidence to allow for that, but there was a part of him that was secretly expecting to die on this operation....
He knew they wouldn't appreciate being simply left, but putting them into such a foreign, strange, and arcane danger probably wouldn't be looked on with great enthusiasm either. Not by him, at least.... Plus this was personal. Lilith held a special place in his history.... Staring in at the tavern, he hem hawed back and forth, constantly aware of the time that was passing.

Grayson had been standing outside the stable by the tavern, peering into the crowded streets. What was it they were doing, again? He was never made entirely aware of their goal and it kind of just seemed like the three were wandering aimlessly. Three? Hadn't there been more? Where was Sabin and Wyatt? Not that Grayson was particularly hoping to see Sabin again, but it was a little odd that they just left them at camp. In fact, if Grayson wasn't awake when Aaron moved out, he probably would have been left behind as well.
The novice archer stroked his steed as Aaron's green head came into view. Grayson took the chance to approach the mage and clear up a few things.
"So I never really found out... what was it that we're to do here? Or are we just making a stop on the way to someplace else? I suppose I never really took the time to ask before, so I guess it's my fault for being ignorant, but I'd like to know anyway." Grayson asked, hair bobbing with his head movements.

"I'd like to know too.", said Xavier as he walked out from deeper inside the stables, having just tied Ralph, his horse, up inside as well as daydreaming a little inside. This was one of Xavier's bad habits, once he started daydreaming, it was really hard to take him out of one. Probably due in part to his naivete as well as the fact that Xavier usually travelled on a horse, so even if he daydreamed, his horse would still follow the rest for him.
Yes, blame Ralph, that was always right!, thought Xavier.

Aaron jumped a bit as Grayson came up to him. He'd been too distracted, and hadn't seen the purple haired archer, or, a moment later, the blue haired healer.
Even Aaron wasn't entirely sure why they were here anymore, in reality. They'd been traveling east. That was all the mage knew. Now, he needed to travel west. To Etruria. How to best describe what had happened.... He'd sound loony, even to himself, if he went around saying that he'd talked to someone in his dreams. Or, at least the mage thought he would. The simple truth, as usual was the best option.
The mage took a breath, collecting his thoughts, and explained things in his calm, clear voice.
"Well.... I've got some bad news. I've gotten some word of a friend of mine who is in Etruria. She's in... She needs help, so that's where I'm going."
Simple, eh? Now, how these two reacted to that was still a question, but that was the simple answer. ... I should have told them about the danger, and chance of death....

Xavier halfsmiled as the mage announced his decision to travel to Etruria. Xavier had heard of Etruria, about how the Etrurians were the most knowledgeable and skilled at magic of all the people in the world. He had heard about St. Elimine who had hailed from Etruria. It was one of the places he wanted to visit the most.
What Xavier didn't know was that the place was now in a smallscale civil war with the Prophet missing and all the chaos that had happened from the purging of the noble families.
"Well, Etruria's a nice place to go... And... Well... It sure beats being with those... Bandits...", Xavier said, his voice trembling slightly as he recounted on his previous plight and sorry state with the bandits. Well, he hoped that joining this group would be a completely new beginning to his journey and that he would be able to excape from his past with this group.

Sabin had ben unusually quiet that morning. Perhaps he had gone into one of his dreamy type of moods, where he just kept on dreaming and contemplating about stuff while he didn't know what he was doing.
Somehow, he followed the group to a town, where he was snapped back to conscience. The sight of civilization surprised Sabin, but only for a moment, before he followed the others quietly, without much talk.
Perhpas he hadn't slept that well last night. He was not being talkative today, that was for sure.
He followed the group quietly behind, the following Xavier and Grayson as Aaron went to check out something. Sabin sat quietly, listening to the small conversation between Grayson and Xaiver before Aaron returned shortly. Aaron had decided it ws in his best interests to go to Etruria. A friend eh?
"Etruria, you say? Well, I'd follow you if you need help, actually." Sabin said.

"Well, its settled then, guess we're all going to Etruria!", Xavier responded right after Sabin approved of the Etrurian trip.
To Xavier, the trip was one where he would be able to visit Etruria and learn more about the magical arts that he would one day learn to wield for as of now, Xavier only had magical ability strong enough to wield only simple staves.
Xavier stood, smiling, although his eyes slowly went unfocused as he sank back into his thoughts again, of himself gaining unattainable magic (well, attainable only by him anyway) and growing strong enough to control his own life. The price for the power seemed almost negligent to Xavier, for equivalent exchange would justify it. He would be sacrificing things equivalent to the amount of power he would gain. It was fair, as fair as looking after a healer only for his healing abilities.
Xavier's mind slowly sank deeper and darker as his thoughts went on, forgetting the conversation he had with the man the night before. This was just a slight daydream though, and Xavier would later break out of it, not remembering it, although the darkness that had started to grow would not be easily staunched.
OoC: +2 Evil points, ending at 54/100, due to him having power hungry thoughts that would lead him away from goodness.
