A female in red armour limped down a battered dirt road coming off a mountain. Using her Iron lance as a crutch, dried blood covered both the weapon and her crimson armour. With heavy indents into the armour from a heavy blunt weapon such as a war hammer or even a dull axe covered the front part of her chest plate, as for the rear had many stab markings from lances and swords. She was in a fight for her life just trying to escape from a group of bandits that raided, stole and killed people along that very road. Their eyes were on the helmet she was wearing. The very one that she forged in little rock that took the effect of Dragon scales from many blows of her smithing hammer while in the forging process. It was no doubt that they were not far behind her since she had sustained many injuries by them. You can only go so fast with such injuries. It was a miracle on it's own that she had survived for so long as is.
Then the sound that she dreaded the most came from around a corner up the path behind her. "There she is! I want that Helmet, with or without her head in it!" Looking back, she saw the bandits coming down from the mountain at a fast pace. There was no way that she was going to out ru them this time around. Popping of the Knight shield off from her back, she got her lance ready to attack these enemies. It was sad that these men and even women were of Bern decent, that lived normal lives before Ilia took it over. With them now close to a striking range, she quickly dug the back of her lance into the ground and knelt down as one of the bandits took the tip right through the chest cavity breaking a few of his ribs. With him screaming in pain, everyone could hear the blood was filling his lungs. After a while, he had drowned to death in his own blood. A Female fighter rushed at her and smacked Lisa as hard as she could with the side of the axe making Lisa fly across the air and landing hard. Bouncing a few feet away, Lisa slowly stood up coughing up blood from the blow. "This isn't looking to good for me..."

"Sky... Earth... LIGHTNING!"
Seemingly out of nowhere, an arrow appeared and embedded itself in the female bandit's cranium, giving the woman momentary pause as she reached up... felt the shaft protruding from her skull... and promptly keeled over, dead.
"Retreat or die, bandit scum! Have you no honor? Have you no shame?"
The nomad drew another arrow, readying herself for combat. She moved in closer to the woman, still staying behind her, but calling to her softly, saying, "I am a friend, not a foe. You are injured... Do you need medicine?"
What shameful, despicable behavior. Hunting down a wounded warrior like an animal. It was a vile act, and she, Tamaya, would make them pay!

Lisa forced herself to stand up straight as pain jolted through her body. Most of the bandits stayed back and tried to stay out of her range of her bow. The recruit limped on over to her lance, kicked off the dead bandit and yanked her lance out of the ground. Moving backwards slowly towards Tamaya who had just haulted Lisa's fate...for now. The leader of the bandit group stepped forward. He was a big burley pirate. Holding his two Steel Axes, he pointed one of them to Tamaya and would bellow out. "That is a nice horse you got their missy. Why don't ye' give it 'ere and I'll spare ye the trouble of trying to rescue the wench in red. Hahaha."
Lisa would stop in her tracks right as the pirate send wench. Knowing better she turned around, faced him and pointed her lance at him. "You don't have the balls to face a person on our own. You are so big and bad behind your group of cut throat thugs. It's men like you that gives our mother land Bern a Bad name! *spits on the ground in his direcation*" narrowing his eyes, he would look up both the women and said to them both. "I'll be nice enouf to let yee live for now."

Burgid had been tracking down a certain bandit with extreme hate. This bandit had stolen her bag while she was on a "job". I mean who steals from a thief? Unfortunately she could not just let this bag go, it had her normal clothes and a gift she got. She could by new cloths, she had her black cloak that she was wearing, but that gift was irreplaceable. She was about to give up when she heard a ruckus just ahead of her. She lowered her stance and peered around to see what seemed to be a stand off between some bandits and someone else she could not see.
She scanned the bandits who had their backs to her found her target standing behind them with a bow. She crept up behind the group, sneaking to the best ability as she could, and came a few steps behind her prey. The entire group was too absorbed with what was going on in front of them that they still were not aware of her presence. She drew her dagger and took the last two steps, and made a noise. The archer turned and let a scream that was cut short as her dagger sliced his throat. She pushed him aside as heads turned to her. Well, she had their attention now. She threw a rock at the nearest one.

Dio the Shaman was walking around Bern country side. He was collecting different specimens for his class room children. He had many jars with many different bugs, plants, leaves, roots, ect. He was going to draw them all in his books like he usually did. Keeping information constintally updated kept his mind fast and sharp. But when he heard somebody screaming up the road a bit, made him lower his hood and ran to the location to see a Thief getting surrounded by many thugs, a woman with a bow ontop of a horse as well as a female in crimson red armour who seemed to have seen better days.
Lifting both of his hands up into the air, he would begin to glow of the dark magic. The flux seeped out of his hands and into the ground. A black pentagram formed underneath one of the Mercs. The tendrels shot up out of the ground and grasped a hold of him. After letting go, the merc. fell to the ground and looked around for a moment as he tried to catch his breath. Pointing his hand over to Dio, he shouted out. "A Shaman!" With the actions that Dio had done, it bought time for Burgid the thief to move out of the way of the main grouping of enemy. He slowly inched his way over to the other two females.

"...!"
The forces against the two women were... Frightening, to say the least. Nine enemies, and only the two of them... And the poor lady was injured, as well. This wasn't a fair fight by any means... How could anyone stoop so low as to atta-
"!!!"
Without any prior warning, the archer collapsed with a scream. Had he been judged? Wait, no, there was a young ...man? woman? there, with a hood... WAIT! That was Kate!
"Friend Kate! I will aid you in your escape from those dishonorable fiends! My bow will rai--"
Suddenly, shadowy tendrils erupted from the ground and seized another of the enemies, the dark tentacles slamming the man to the ground. A Shaman? Those were practitioners of powerful ancient arts... Having one on their side would be a great boon.
"LIGHTNING!" Tamaya shrieked as she released another arrow towards the downed man. Unfortunately, her aim was quite a ways off, and instead of hitting the mercenary on the ground, it landed harmlessly in the road beside an angry-looking, axe-toting fighter. The man looked at the arrow, then at Tamaya, then hoisted his axe and began taking lumbering steps toward the nomad.
"Uh... Oh..." she gulped, quickly drawing another arrow.

From underneath the Dragon scale like helmet, Lisa would raise a brow at how a thief and a Shaman just arrived and did their own damage to the enemy numbers. But once Tamaya missed her shot and the arrow landed next to one of the fighters. Shaking her head and letting out a sigh, she picked up her lance into attack stance while lowering herself down tot he ground and using the Knight shield to keep most of her body protected.
"Lady archer, not to rush you or anything....But rain those arrows!" But as she said Arrows, the fighter had now rushed the small group. His axe hitting the shield making her stumble backwards. Recovering from the blow, she would thrust the lance into the man's leg making him cry in pain. Taking his axe, he would hook the shield, pulled it away enough for him to send a slash into her chest plate. The edge of his axe had cut into the skin, but he wouldn't expect her to use this problem to her advantage. While he tried to push his axe in past the skin, her Iron lance pierced through his rib cage and out the back. Blood being spit up as he looked down at where the Iron lance was. She had a smirk over her face and shoulder bashed him off of it. -1 Fighter.

"C'mon, ye idjets! They be just a buncha kids!" The pirate leader shouted in an irritated tone. If only he weren't trying to have a little fun with his prey, he'd proceed to chopping up the little cupcakes to ribbons by now. He growled under his breath, seeing more fools intervening within the conflict. He wasn't one to waste his time shouting out commands all day, as his lackeys all knew how to handle themselves in a fight. A raise of his arm and a point forth with one of his mighty axes was all that was needed to signify that he wanted them all to go on the offensive by whatever wild means they deemed necessary. Given that his priority was the red haired lass, he stood by for the perfect opportunity to make a move in case he had to step in and clean up behind the dirty workers.
The two myrmidons bolted forth simultaneously in the direction of the group, one headed towards the newly-arrived Shaman, Dio and the other spreading out to rush the thief, Burgid, the two being closest to them and since they attacked their allies, they were targets. Intending to place pressure on them, both sword fighters lunged forth as they began their assault. Both took one wild swing once approaching their targets, though their strikes weren't aimed anywhere specific.
The recovering mercenary jolted back to movement after being momentarily swallowed by the elder magic and was grateful that arrow missed him entirely. With one lofty jump after standing to his feet, he brought his blade down with him as he aimed for Tamaya from above. The rest of the lackeys began to close the distance, the remaining male fighter slowly coming from the side in attempts to inflict more harm to Lisa. Following the wishes of his leader to bring the lass back dead or alive, he decided to use his brute strength against the wounded soldier, charging at her with a tackle in attempts to knock her down if successful.

Burgid glared as she spun her dagger in her hand. The bandits were in closing her in, and she needed a way out. She heard a familiar voice yell something and then a bandit was suddenly brought to the ground from some sort of dark magic grabbing his feet. What ever it was, and who ever controlled it, it did not matter. She took full advantage of the window that was opened to break out and headed towards the opposite side of the road that the shaman was on.
A myrmidon was quick to not let her get away and dashed after her, not letting her get much distance. The sound of steel cutting the air turned Burgid's head to see just in time a sword going at her neck. She ducked under the strike and spun around with a slash at his chest. He nimbly dodged the strike with a hop back. Burgid quickly followed up with a series of slashes trying to gain the momentum. Not after four slashes the myrmidon realized that his sword gave him much better reach than Burgid's dagger and lunged in at her. She nimbly slid to the right, but the Dexterous foe flowed up with a slash. The blade missed flesh by mere inches but cleanly cut a gash in her cloak. Before he could bring his sword about Burgid drove her dagger into his sword arm's shoulder and held on.

The enemy was now mobilizing onto the forced allies. With a Myrmidon running towards himself and one after the thief he helped earlier, he was watching the two. Attempting to avoid most of the attacks, but one of the slashes hit his robe. Narrowing his robes, he aimed his hand at the man who was attacking him. Using some of his very life force to this attack, the black energy went into the ground as another pentgram formed on the ground under the thug. The tendrels shot up grabbing him and squeezed tightly. Ripping off his now ruined robe to reveal his bare arms that had many runes carved into them that never healed right. Before the tendrels let the Myrmidon go, he rushed the man and slammed his boot into the rib cage of the man. Making him fly backwards a few feet. Not sure if his heavy attack hurt that much, but the magic was most likely done a major deal to him.
Looking down as he felt something welt on his shirt, he had seen his shirt had been sliced too and his skin was broken by the attack. There was a gash on his chest. Slowly, the wound began to sting and then the pain hurt more and more as he stood there ready for more of the fight.

"No!" As the mercenary leaped into the air toward her, Tamaya was already focused on the man charging the woman in red. Quickly judging that her assailant was too far away to strike her before she was out of range, she spurred Shikoba forward and raced toward the charging fighter. It swiftly degenerated into a risky game of chicken, as Tamaya held her bow steady and aimed at the man's center of mass. If he didn't move... Well, she hoped he would. But if not, she had an arrow for him.

As the woman behind her dashed towards the fighter that was gunning for Lisa, the Recruit shrugged her shoulders. Looking up, she saw the Merc. getting closer and closer. Kicking the lance upwards, and the tip aimed at him. The man had meer seconds to do something. He moved his buckler small shield infront of him for it to take most of the blow. But the bad thing was, once he did such, his weight went into his shield and onto the lance tip. The Iron Lance pierced through with the help of Gravity and this mans weight and right into his arm. Screaming due to his mistake, Lisa looked up at the man. Lifting up the lance with all her strength, she would lower it slightly and charged towards the one side of the road which was a small cliff that if anyone was to fall in it they would get seriously injured or even killed.
Smiling to herself, she would then spin the lance and stop it making him being flung off right over the small cliff. Trying to reach out for the edge on the other side, the man came up short by an inch. The merc. fell a good bit of 8 feet and landed on his stomach. The sound of a loud splat echoed through. Turning around, she lifted up her knight shield and moved away from the edge so she didn't end up like that poor shmuck.

With Tamaya charging at the fighter at top speed on her mount, he had little to no time to stop his own charge and get out of the way. At first, he thought she was going to ram into him by how quickly she took off, but when she drew the arrow and released, he panicked a bit before trying to tilt his body to try and avoid it. Unfortunately for the poor sap, the arrow still managed to pierce his shoulder and he almost completely stumbled to the ground before he managed to hold his ground off of willpower alone, though that only made the sting of the arrowhead worsen. He was stunned in place, however not entirely defenseless. He didn't remove the arrow, and instead tried to suck up the pain while looking out for the girl in case she tries to strike him again.
The myrmidon with Burgid was having quite a difficult time trying to yank himself free, especially considering it was his sword arm that was assaulted. He wasn't really in a position to counter attack her properly, but he needed to test if he had the upper hand on overall physical strength, needing to desperately get the girl off of him first. It was going to hurt like hell, but he had an risky idea. He pushed himself forward as her dagger pushed deeper into his shoulder, almost to the point where he could feel that it could pierce completely through and sent out a small grunt out of reaction to the pain. But he added his own weight into a push of his own in attempts to overpower her and force her to release the blade from his shoulder.
Before he knew it, the pirate realized that other than the myrmidons and injured fighter, all that remained of his crew was a single bandit and mercenary. He clenched his teeth out of anger and ordered the two to immediately get in there and start causing more trouble for the little brigade before they killed them all. The mercenary was the closest to the fighter with the arrow still embedded within his shoulder, so he rushed over as quickly as he could to aid him, though still having a bit of distance in between he and the fighter. Hopefully the fool didn't get himself killed by the mounted archer before he'd get there. The bandit made a large war cry before bolting off at any random target, said person in particular being Lisa.
(OOC: From this point on, I'll only be controlling the pirate leader. This is so I won't have to react to everyone all at once witht he lackeys. So you can skip Plot Device's turns after this one until I intervene with the pirate.)

The myrmidon struggled, driving her dagger deeper into his shoulder. But his plan became clear too late to Burgid. She was knocked back and onto the ground, her very bloody dagger bounced a few feet away. She quickly recovered and made a dash towards her weapon. The myrmidon switched his sword to his lesser hand and rushed to cut her off from her dagger by swinging his blade in an arc at her. She stopped just in time to avoid being cleaved as the blade bounced of the dirt.
Her foe pointed his weapon strait at her chest and uttered the words. "Now you pay with your life." He lunged forward at her chest and she ducked to the right. Anticipating this move he slashed down at her and spun back as the weapon went by. He brought his weapon around and Burgid reached in grabbed the non-dominant wrist of the man stopping the strike as she kick him right low and center. His eyes bulged as he recoiled off, unknowingly letting the thief get the two second chance she needed to slip by towards her dagger. He hobbled as fast as he could after her, knowing she would not have enough time pick up the dagger before he got there. But rather than bending over she gave a small hop then did a cartwheel, grabbing the dagger with her lead hand as she preformed the move. She ready herself to finish this.

"Thank you, Father Sky!" Turning sharply, the nomad girl wheeled around and drew another arrow. Preparing herself, she looked at the fighter, smiled, and released the bolt with her characteristic shriek of "Lightning!" However, this time, the fighter easily dodged the strike, with it being almost announced.
The man then raised his axe high and charged her, while she was still trying to load another arrow. "Stay back! Retreat, you scum! Retreat! GRR!"
Tamaya angrily spurred Shikoba, who reared up, legs flailing. However, the man swerved, and took a potshot at Tamaya, cutting into the woman's side. It was a shallower cut than she had experienced the last time, but still. Why always her side?!
"LIGHTNING!" the enraged woman roared, loosing an arrow directly at the man's throat, and watching it bury itself in his eyeball. Oh well, she'd work on accuracy later.
