As he spoke, she leaned a bit towards him. She liked to hear the tales of elders. But she tilted her head a bit when he said he had to cut a son from the family. Was this Orcleous he was talking about or was it someone else? Claira had to ask Orc about it later. It intrigued her when he told her about being peaceful and only used an axe to attack some wolves. There was nothing wrong with being one with peace, but sadly she knew her life would never be peaceful or normal. But she hoped that it could be as close as possible. When he finished his tale, she smiled a bit and kept watching him. "Now I see where Orcleous gets his morals from. Your a great man and an amazing father. My mother and father were both hunters...I don't even know if they are still alive or not." The Thief remembered a saying her father use to say."There's a saying my father use to say, Through hardships or through great days. Through happiness or through anger, always remember you have your family. "
Looking down at the blanket and her bowl, she wished Orcleous was here. No matter how she felt, being around him made her smile. "I don't judge your ways of life Mr. Isengard, I actually envy you for having a loving family and able to live in peace. My life has been anything but peaceful." Taking her hand from her ribs, she ran the hand up and down her right arm that was covered with nothing but scars from the slavers cutting her. Thinking about it, she began to shake a bit as she kept her face looking down. Sniffing hard, she then said with more tears coming down. "I know you would do anything to keep your family safe...my father- sniffs again- he didn't do anything to stop...." Claira stopped because she was about to start crying. Putting a hand over her face, she thought that she probably looked pitiful to Mr. Isengard.

Realizing Claira was starting to cry the old farmer walked over and put his arms around her. He understood that the young maiden needed a shoulder to cry on. It was hard looking back onto your life when it was filled with sadness. Him and his family had been blessed and such hardships where none existent. However he could still feel sympathy for the young maiden. Wrapping his arms around her he began to whisper the words. "It is going to be alright." He repeated it over and over. He was not really sure what to say to her, but that was the only thing that came to his mind. Mr. Isengaurd never had any experience with emotional support. With his boys he was always hard as men needed to be. If they cried he told them to suck it up. That was the way he was raised and the way he knew they needed to be. However he did not know how to really handle a young girl. Females where different, he understood that from the beginning. That is why he preyed he never had a daughter and fat answered. Now that he was however it lashed back out at him. Here he was trying to do a job he was not trained to do.
------
"Alright", spoke Orcleous as he began to look through the blacksmiths work. The Champion was looking for a suitable dagger. He was going to need to buy something that was sturdy and sharp. It needed to be able to take the punishment of battle and still be useful for more fine tune things. Finding a dagger for a thief was a touch job. Especially when you yourself have never been a thief.
"Hey are you listening to me", spoke Xeldine as she barked at Orcleous.
"No", spoke the champion as he picked up a combat knife. It was not really a dagger, but he wondered if it might be of use. Then again she may not want a combat knife. Maybe she just wanted a dagger that was just like the one she had.
"That was rude", spoke Xeldine pushing her way in front of Orcleous breaking up his view. The Champion gave off a sigh as he looked up at the fiery maiden.
"What do you want this time", he spoke as he began to walk over to another table with weapons.
"I want you to answer my question", she spoke pushing her way around him. The Champion however was smarter than she thought and the moment she moved around him he quickly turned around and picked up the combat knife.
"I think this will work nicely", he spoke as he also picked up a dagger similar to the one she had before. if he just bought the two of them he would be sure that she would have what she needed.
"Hey come on Orcleous", spoke Xeldine.
"Fine", spoke Orcleous as he turned around and looked at the maiden. "No I am not in a relationship with Claira. No we do not kiss on a regular basic and no I am not taking you with me when I eventually leave."
"Wait I did not ask about that last part", spoke Xeldine.
"Well I am letting you know beforehand", spoke the Champion as he paid the smith some coin. "We are probably going to be going back to Lycia after she heals up, and you don't have the skill to keep up with our enemies."
"Our enemies", spoke Xeldine picking up on Orcleous words.
"Yes Our enemies."
"So there is something between the two of you then", spoke the pig tailed maiden.
"Yes we are partners", spoke Orcleous. "At the moment that is all there is to it."
"And the kiss", she spoke. Orcleous was tired of the conversation going back to the kiss. Everytime he turned around she was bringing it up.
"Probably something to get under your skin", spoke the Champion as he walked out the store. "You know you should really stop picking fights with people who can kill you".
"Oh please I can take her own", spoke Xeldine. Orcleous stopped in his tracks and turned around and looked at his apprentice.
"No you can't", he spoke with a serious expression. "You can't even defeat a demon wolf. I have seen her take down bonewalkers. The power difference betwen you two is far to great."

When he gotten up and held Claira close, she was first shocked for she wasn't expecting it. But eventually she had her face in Mar 's shoulder crying as everything in her past hit her at once. The waitress heard from down stairs the crying. Running up the stairs, she busted through the door and saw the scene. Walking over, she looked at Mars and said, "I'll stay with her sir. You can go if you want and talk to Orc." Gently pulling the crying thief off the old farmer, the waitress cradled her close." Sssshhhh...it's fine Claira. Your safe...don't worry....calm down. Come on, why don't you rest? I'll stay in here with you until Orcleous gets back." Claira nodded her head and laid down. The waitress picked up the plate and placed it on the table. Before Mars could leave, Claira said out loud to him.
"Mr. Isengard, thank you and I'm sorry." Laying her head down and fell asleep. Claira felt bad that she just had a mental break down to Orcleous's father, who was nice enough to try and comfort her when she tried to hold back from crying. The waitress Sat in the wooden chair and was going to keep her word. She waited for Orcleous to return. The Thief rolled onto her one side with her back away from the waitress. The crying didn't help matters, for now her body was in a constant throbbing pain now. Thinking to herself, "I'm such a mess...Orcleous doesn't need my problems to weigh him down and force him to worry about me. Wish I wasn't so weak...or...I wish I was already dead." Shortly after her thinking, she clenched the blanket to herself and dozed off into a sleep.
------
Inside the village, a man in black clothing walked down the main street. He was a scout for the slavers. On his back was a Steel great sword strapped. On his left arm was a Steel buckler shield. This man had a rat brand on both his arms. Going from vendor to vendor, he described what Claira looked like. No one gave the man the answers he was looking for. Walking into an Inn, he walked over to a table and set his sword next to the table and Sat down. His deep harsh voice, "Bar keep. Honey Mead for me!" Without to his knowledge, his target was just up stairs sleeping. Taking out a parchment and a piece of charred wood, he began writing what he had found out so far and was crossing out villages that were in Bern. The bar keep walked over and set the metal tanker on the table. "There anything else sir?" , "Noo, that is all." Drinking his mead, he sat back and relaxed watching the front door.

As Orcleous returned to the inn Xeldine made her way to her day job. He was surpised she actually had a job, but from what she told him his mother got it for him. That was the rule in the Isengaurd house. If you don't work you don't eat. They where not going to let her lazy about all day while everyone else worked in the fields. Though from what he heard she was working with the town guard so picking crops was not something she would be doing some time soon. With two daggers on his belt Orcleous made his way back into the Inn. As he walked inside he noticed a man who dressed in black. Black was a common color found out on the road or in the mercenary business, but not inside of Mordor. Mordor was a farming town and most people wore either brown or red. The guards seemed to be in love with the latter. It probably had something to do with Bern's military traditionally wearing the color. Either way the man with the greatsword stood out to him.
"Hey is she still upstairs", spoke Orcleous as he walked up to the bar maid. The maiden gave a nod and sent Orcleous up that way. As he walked up the stairs the champion took another glimpse at the man. He wondered what was the man's business, but kept his thoughts to himself. Walking up to Claira's room Orcleous gave a light knock. The sound radiated through the empty hallway like a rock falling into a empty well. Orcleous did not like it. He did not know why, but he had a bad feeling about this. Opening the door Orcleous walked in to see if Claira was alright. From his belt he pulled off the two steel daggers and set them at the end of the bed.

Her eyes sprang open when she heard foot steps coming to her door. Then a few light knocks. The door opened slightly and heard someone walk in. Rolling over, her blood shot eyes saw Orcleous with two steel daggers. A weak smile came across her face. Sitting up slowly, she leaned against the head bored and watched him. She felt bad because she didn't know if his father told him or not about what happened. "Is it the reason why he came back early? I'm over thinking it again" She thought to herself. The Thief looked at the bed then back at him. But something began to weigh on her mind. Bringing her knees up to her chest, she placed her nose down into her knees. Then finally, she said to him.
"Orcleous....I'm sorry for everything...I'm sorry for putting you in this mess, for probably humiliating you in front of your apprentice last night and today. For you paying the doctor. And also for whatever your father said when he left..." Claira felt vulnerable right now. She felt weak and at the current moment, useless. Images of conversations of Orc and his father talking about her filled her head. Now fully hiding her face, she brought up the blanket. The Thief tried her best not to cry in front of him much like what happened earlier with his father. "...would you...want me to...leave you Orcleous?" She asked as she hid. Claira was expecting him to be mad at her and begin shouting at her. Shaking a bit, she began to bite her lower lip again. The very thought of him telling to leave and never to return brought up tears. She couldn't help it anymore as they went beading down her face and her sniffing was heard.
The scout downstairs heard some commotion coming from where the massive man went. Finishing his mead, he slammed a few gold coins down onto the table and said out loud. "A couple arguing. Way to spoil my relaxation. Bar keep, give me another tanker! If I'm going to hear them upstairs, then I better be drunk to sit through that Mess! And give me your strongest drink in another tanker! Mead isn't going to cut it tonight!" The bar keep did as he was ordered and brought over two tankers for the man. "If you don't mind me asking, but what is it you do?" The bar keep asked. "I'm looking for something my boss has lost. What it is, is Not your concern Keeper!"

For a moment Orcleous simply sat there. In truth he had no idea where this all was coming from. One moment she asked him to pick up some daggers and now she is crying about embarrassment and something about his father. Taking a deep breath Orcleous placed the daggers down at the end of the bed and walked up to Claira. He then placed his hand on her forehead to see if she was running a fever. "Are you feeling alright", spoke Orcleous as he looked at the blonde hair maiden. "You sure you did not bump your head from the last time I left the room till now? Look Claira I don't know what you and my pah talked about, but I have not spoken to him. I went and picked up the daggers like you asked and schooled Xeldine in the art of swordsmanship. After that I came back here. As for embarrassment", spoke Orcleous as blood began to rush to his face. Lucky for him his skin tone was dark enough that it did not show. "Well there was a bit, but not for the reason I think you are thinking. Xeldine will always be a problem. She will nag even when you are under attack by bandits. Trust me she has done it before. As for the kiss", he spoke coughing to clear his throat. "Don't do things like that unless you mean it. You can cause misunderstandings", spoke the Champion.
Taking a few steps back Orcleous closed the door and took a seat on a nearby chair. "Now for the more meaty stuff. First off I am the one who punched you in the side. It is my fault you got hurt and only right I pay for the doctor bill. Second if I would not abandon you when I was being attacked by slavers what makes you think I am just going to walk away because you and Xeldine got into a argument. You would have to try real hard to make me simply up and leave."
"So back onto more important matters", spoke Orcleous as he leaned forward into the chair. "How are you feeling? What did the doctor say about your recovery rate?

Feeling his hand on her forehead Made her smile a bit. It was comforting to her. Lifting her head from where she was hiding it, she listened to him as he explained to her about everything. But when he brought up the kiss, she even cleared her throat. Reaching for the table, she grabbed the cup of water from the night before and downed it. Her face began to blush as she sat there. "The doctor said my shoulder is healing fine. But he's still worried about my ribs. You shouldn't have to pay it since I'm the one who made the critical error of jumping at you." Looking at him then at the floor she began to feel embarrassed. "As for the kiss Orcleous...I meant it...I do have feelings for you, but if Xeldin is yours...." She trailed off for a moment.
On purpose, she was avoiding talks about what had happened between herself and his father. She would want Mars talk to Orcleous about that whole ordeal. Looking at him again, she didn't know what to say at the moment since she just told him how she felt about the Champion. In a way she was nervous at what he is going to say, but she was also relieved that she had feelings for the big man. Turning her body to face him, she put her feet on the floor. She slowly got up and the pain wasn't as bad as before, but it was still there. Walking to the daggers, she picked both of them up and stared at them. They were nicely made. Steel daggers with one of them being curved and the other one was a double edged blade and straight. Smiling a bit more, she turned to face him not knowing what to say.
The man downstairs slammed his tanker down Putting the greatsword in the back sheath, he went for the stairs. He had enough of the annoyance from the couple. Going to the door where all the noise was coming from. He'd bang on the door and shout in through the door. "Hey you two! Keep it down! I'm trying to enjoy my drink in peace! If I have to come back up here...it's not going to be pretty!" Turning away, he went back towards the stairs to finish his time in the Inn, enjoying his drinks alone.

Taking it all in Orcleous stood up and began to rub the back of his head. 'Crap', thought Orcleous to himself as the maiden told him that it was serious. This was the first time he had to deal with something like this. It was not that he did not like Claira. She was beautiful as he said before and she had a nice personality. The problem was really Orcleous himself. He had never really been in a relationship. Things just seemed to go with the flow with him and romance never came his way. "Look Claira", spoke Orcleous. The Champion stumbled on his words. "Well first off there is nothing between me and Xeldine. She may like me, but I don't feel the same. I see her as more of a little sister than anything like that. As for you and me. I can't say I don't like it, but I am not sure I am the guy you want to be with. I am brash, rude, and a big jerk. Not to mention I have a stream of enemies. However if you are ...", spoke Orcleous when suddenly somebody came beating on the door. The man started to tell something about enjoying a drink. His words broke Orcleous concentration and the embarrassment of the entire situation started to erupt inside of him.
"D@#$% it", shouted Orcleous as he slung open the door. The Champion could rush into battle really easy, but talking about emotions and feelings was hard. Still it was good to have a escape goat. Rushing out the door Orcleous walked up behind the man. "Hey", he shouted. As the man turned around Orcleous punched him in the face. The Champion remembered to hold back this time. He did not want a repeat of what happen with Claira, thought he was sure his fist was not the only cause. After laying the man out Orcleous forced himself back into the room.
"Look", he spoke as he walked in. Running off the adrenaline rush from punching the man in the face Orcleous finished what he had to say. "If you are willing to look past all the crap flaws I have we can start dating", spoke the Champion. After that he walked out the room and sat in the hallway. "Crap", he spoke as embarrassment went to his head. The champion started to punch the ground over and over again trying to alleviate it. This was most definitely not in his skill reserves."

When she saw him stand told her about himself and Xeldine, she smiled again. As he was about to say something else, some rude person banged on the door making her jump a bit. After the man stopped shouting, Orcleous went after him. Frowning a bit, she slid the two sheathed daggers into her belt behind her. The sounds of Orcleous yelling hey to the guy then a loud thumping sound was heard. Worry kicked and she started towards the door. But was stopped when The Champion walked back in. Hearing saying about the crap amount of enemies and his bad traits, that if she could over look it that they could date. Claira was about to say something when the person she fallen in love with ran out of the room. Tilting her head she thought to herself. "Well...that was surely different."
The sounds of fists punching the floor echoed the room. The female thief ran out into the hall to find Orcleous sitting and punching the floor. Walking to the front of him, she would kneel down in front of him and also using his shoulders to help her. Taking his fists into her hands, she would look at him with her Jade colored eyes. "I got a list of enemies always on my tail Orcleous. I have...issues too. The nightmares, me crying, always thinking the worse of people cause how I was treated. Your the only one who hasn't left me alone Orcleous. Where others fled, you stood to defend me. I love you for who you are. I will stand by your side when your enemies come for you. We've fought together and almost died together. There isn't any other person in this life I would rather spend my time with out you." Still holding his hands in hers, she slowly gotten closer to him. Not knowing how he was going to react or if his novice would think if she came up and saw what was going on between the two of them. And quiet frankly, Claira didn't care. The only person she worried about was the man before him

As Claira walked up to him Orcleous embarrassment meter jumped to the max, but after she started to speak it all seemed to fade away. The Champion could only laugh at himself as Claira pretty much said the same thing he did. Two people with personality flaws and people after there heads. They where a pair. Taking advantage of the situation Orcleous leaned up and kissed the maiden. Of course he had to get her back from before. However the moment between the two was ruined when another guess walked out of his room to investigate the noise.
"Hey what ... oh sorry", he spoke as he walked back into his room.
"Great", spoke Orcleous. "Now I am going to be the talk of the town for weeks", he chuckled. The champion then looked at the guy on the ground. He wondered how the man's face was, but he was sure everything would be alright. Orcleous did have a mean right hook, but from what he could tell the guy was drunk. Orcleous figured he would just wake up in the morning with a bad hangover and a face that felt like it got smacked by a ton of bricks.
"You should probably get back to bed", spoke Orcleous. "I don't want your injuries to get worse", spoke the champion as he pulled himself off the ground. Orcleous took a deep breath as he let everything sink in. He was sure that Xeldine was going to complain his ear off. Well at the moment he did not care. He could always ignore her or redirect her toward something else.
In the back of his mind Orcleous realized that this relationship was going to complicate things. He could no longer charge into battle fearless and bold. Things where going to be different. Still Orcleous would be Orcleous. He had his own sense of honor and a need to line his pockets with gold. A mercenary was only guaranteed one thing in life, a death in a some godforsaken ditch. At the very least he would be sharing that ditch with somebody else.

Surprised of Orcleous kissing her now, she wrapped her arms around him as they did so. When an angry patron came out of his room investagating what the commotion was, Orcleous broke away from the kiss. Claira rested her head on his chest until he stood up. Smiling to herself, she slowly stood up holding her side with her left arm. Hearing his request, the thief nodded her and kissed him again. "You know where I will be then...I love you Orcleous." Breaking away from him, she returned to the room and gently closed the door behind her. Looking around the room, there wasn't much to do. So taking her daggers out, she climbed back into bed. Sliding the two unsheathed blades under her pillow, she covered herself with the blanket and laid there facing the door. Her left hand was under the pillow holding one of the steel daggers.
Thinking to herself, she finally felt happy. The more she thought about it, the more she smiled. The chances were high of them dying, but they would die fighting together. No matter bad it will be for them both, she won't leave without him. Because she meant what she said, Claira did love him. With it, she began to fall asleep. Once asleep, she would have the nightmare but it now changed. Before Papa could deliver the fatal blow to her, Orcleous rushes in with his massive shield and stops the crimson covered blade. Her lover would unsheath a divine sword she had never seen before and unleash a power so immense that the thief had to shield her eyes from the bright glow. It went from a nightmare to a very pleasant dream.
Down stairs, the unknown man slowly sat up. Shaking his head, he stood up as Xeldine walked in with another guard. The male guard had a Steel Battle Axe and said to the man. "We've received a complaint about you. We the village guard will escort you out of the village and you will never be allowed back. Now let's move it. Xeldine, go and get the information from Orcleous since he's the one who stoped this man by a single punch. And make sure you write it down this time. Don't want a repeat of last time." The male guard took the man's arm and walked him out of the Inn and to the other side of the gate where he passed the information to the guards standing guard at the gate.

"Hey I am back", spoke Orcleous as he walked up to his family farm. The Champion did his best to act as if everything was normal. He may have just started a steady relationship, but he did not really want everyone to know. His mother would probably blab about it to everybody and his brothers would probably go out there way to try and sabotage him. You know brotherly stuff. Still Orcleous had a lot on his mind. The least of it was the guy he knocked out in the hallway. He was a jerk and Orcleous thought he got what he deserved.
As the champion walked back to his old room he took off his armor and laid down on the bed. He wanted to go to sleep, but he could not. There was a lot of stuff on his mind. Most of it being Claira, the kiss, and the embarrassment. "Dang it", spoke Orcleous to himself as he tried to suppress the memory of it. If there was ever a chink in Orcleous armor that would be it. He could not take emotional embarrassment. It was just not in him. He was also not good at hiding things. Orcleous did not say a word about something going on with him and Claira, but his mother seemed to have picked up on it, or to be more exact the fact that Orcleous was having problems dealing with his emotions at the moment. She knew her son well enough to know what his rabbits where. Going straight to your rum and yelling to yourself. Yep that was Orcleous trying to get over his emotions.
"So honey", spoke his mother as she walked into the room. The aged maiden had on the crimson headband Orcleous had returned last time. She was still wearing her cooking apron and from the way her hands look she probably just finished putting something into the oven. "So when are you going to tell me about the girl", she spoke in a sly manner. The surprise look on Orcleous face told her that she was right on, but the Champion went out of his way to deny it.
"I have no idea what you are talking about", spoke Orcleous as he gained control over his facial muscle. Placing on his stone face Orcleous was ready for anything she threw at him. However it was already too late. She had delivered a mortal blow with her first question.
"Hey you are not fooling me", spoke his mother as she stepped into the room. A few drops of water fell off her hands and landed on Orcleous breastplate. The Champion took it as a opportunity to break the conversation.
"Hey I can't get water on that it will rust", spoke Orcleous as he shot up off the bed and grabbed a nearby piece of cloth. His mother looked at him with a annoyed look.
"Come on now Orcleous, one drop of water is not going to rust your armor. Especially since it is painted", she added, but the Champion paid her no mind and began to wipe the armor. He wanted to derail this conversation as much as possible.
"Now tell me about her", asked his mom.
"Who is her", spoke Xeldine as she walked up. She was wearing the uniform of the guard, which still bother Orcleous a bit. They made Xeldine a guard. Standards had to be dropping all around Mordor for that to happen.
"Arent you suppose to be on duty", spoke Orcleous taking another opportunity to derail the conversation.
"Of course I am on duty", spoke Xeldine as she moved to defend herself. "Why do you think I am wearing this stupid uniform."
"So Xeldine why did you come back early", spoke Orcleous mom as she turned toward the maiden. She had not forgotten her conversation with Orcleous, but she wanted to handle Xeldine's needs first. "If you came for you dinner I was still going to bring it too you at midnight."
"No that is not why", spoke Xeldine as she shook her hands. She always liked Orcleous mother. She was so nice and understanding. She would bring her food at midnight to help with her shift and help her clean her armor when she got back home early in the morning. "Actually I came here to get Orcleous", spoke Xeldine grabbing the attention of both The Champion and his mother.
"Me", spoke Orcleus with some surprise.
"Yeah, I need to bring you to the guard captain."
"Did Orcleous do something", spoke the champions mother with a concern look!
"Don't worry mother", spoke Xeldine. Mother, thought Orcleous to himself. When did Xeldine get so close to his parents? It seemed a lot of stuff happend while he was away. "It is nothing serious. We just need to ask him a few questions that is all."

Claira tossed and turned a bit in the bed. Hers opened slowly as she looked around. The room was quiet. Orcleous hasn't returned yet and the sun was starting to set. Sighing, she sat up and retrieved her daggers from under her pillows. Putting them in theirs sheath's, Claira got her boots on and stood up. She needed to go for a walk. Laying in bed was getting on her nerves. Going out the door and down the stairs, Claira was stopped in front of the bar counter. The waitress smiled and said, "You should be in bed, but I understand you need to get out for fresh air. If Orcleous shows up while your out. I'll let him know." The Thief smiled back and bowed. Opening the door, she stepped outside and took in a deep breath. It felt good to breath in some fresh air. Not knowing where to go, she walked over to the only General merchant store. Stepping inside, she eyed up everything.
Clothing on the right side, grown food and meats on the left side. Then dead center was house hold items and working tools. The Thief walked over to the right where the clothing was. Looking around, she had to replace some of her clothing. Grabbing a red cloak with hood, a long sleeve crimson red shirt, a pair of black pants. Looking down at her boots, she saw it was worn down badly. Then a males voice spoke up behind her. "Scuse me miss, but do you need help finding something?" Claira turned around smiling. "Yes, I'm looking for your riding boots. Mines a bit worned a bit." Nodding his head, he went to the side wall where they had they're footwear. Looking at her boots, he began going through the boots then pulled out a pair. A pair looking like hers that went up to her knees. It was light tanned deer hide. "I'll take it." The man took the boots and clothing from her and went to his counter. "That will be 25 gold coins."
Going into her purse, she retrieved the 25 gold and purchased her outfit. Taking her new items, she went back to the inn and straight to her room. Closing the door, she set everything down onto the bed. With her one dagger, she would cut the left sleeve off at the shoulder on her new shirt. The Thief went over to the desk where a washing bowl was with rag. Dipping the rag into the water, she'd begin to clean her face, neck and then her hair. Grabbing the new clothing, she went behind a curtain. Her old clothing and boots was tossed off to the side.
After a while, she walked out with the clothing on. Tying the cloak on and adjusting her daggers on the back if her, she would look at herself in the mirror. Thinking to herself."I wonder if he would like this new outfit. The boots do feel comfortable. Where is he?" Thinking of something, she headed downstairs again. "Excuse me sir, but where can I find the Isengard house? I'm new here and don't know where to head." The bar keeper smiled at her. Going into a room in the back, he then came out with a piece of parchment. "Here you go Claira. Just follow the map and it will lead you right to their door step." Smiling, Claira bowed and said."Thank you kind sir." Lifting up her hood over her head, she left the inn and started her walk to Orcleous's families home. Many people watched her with wondering eyes. Even a couple of teenaged males followed her. With the sun now nearly set, she stood at the opened gate looking at the farm house. Taking in a deep breath, Claira rolled up the map and stuffed it in her pocket. The Thief walked to the door with her hand raised. She was about to knock but didn't. Instead she she walked off the porch and started her way back to the inn.

"So this is about the guy in the black cloak", spoke Orcleous as he opened the door of the house and walked out. Xeldine followed behind him along with his mother seeing the two off.
"Yeah that guy was be...", spoke Xeldine as she stopped talking. Orcleous was a bit to much into the conversation to realize that Claira was walking off the porch. "Its the thief", she spoke with a venomous tone. Her words caught Orcleous mother off guard and alerted Orcleous to Claira's presence.
"Claira", spoke Orcleous as he walked down to porch. He was sure she would still be in bed. Though now that he was thinking about it he understood why she would decided to leave. Sitting in one room all day must be dreadfully boring. Still Orcloeus was more worried about her injuries. If they got worse things could be really bad. After taking a good look at the maiden Orcleous realized that she had changed clothing. She was no longer wearing her usually black garbs, but instead put on something with more color. Crimson, the color of blood, and one of Ocleous favorite. For a while he had been wearing a few dark greens and black, thanks to the cult, but of late he had been going back to his old school There was something about the color that really caught Orcleous eyes.
"Is that a new outfit", spoke Orcleous as he stopped in his place. It did not take a sage to see that the Champion was impressed. On that note Xeldine also noticed and the fact bothered her a lot.
"Hey come on, we need to head to the tower", she shouted as she grabbed Orcleous hand and began to drag him away.
"Oh is that the lady friend", spoke Orcleous mother. The words made Orcleous sweat a bit as he realized where this was going to go. Still he was not going to just up and deny Claira for his own convince. They said they where going to date and that eventually meant telling his parents.
"Yeah she is", spoke Orcleous. His words cut deep into Xeldine who simply jerked him by the arm. "Come on the captain needs to talk to you stop stalling", she shouted. The maiden grabbed his arm tightly out of anger and forced the hero down the road.
"Do you want to come in", spoke Orcleous mother as she looked at the blonde hair maiden.

When her named was called out, she felt like running. But decided not to. She turned around to show that her shirt matched her cloak, but had the left arm sleeve missing like her old black shirt. Turning a bit red when Orcleous took notice of her change of outfit. Smiling she replied, "Y-yes it is. Hope you like it." Seeing how Xeldine was trying so hard to drag him off, she walked up to him. But stopped when he answered his mother's questions" Yes she is." Her smile fell slightly when he didn't call her what she truly was. His lover. Wrapping her arms around him. Looking up at him, she said to him. "Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. We will meet up at the Inn." She didn't want to cross any lines by leaning up and kissing him again in front of his mom and especially in front of Xeldine who didn't like Claira already.Breaking away from the embrace, she faced his mother and walked towards her slowly looking down at the ground. Claira felt a bit bummed out and a bit hurt. It felt that he was making her a secret.
That he didn't want to show how he felt for her, unlike how he kissed her in the Inn outside of her room while she tried to calm him down. Stopping, she would turn slightly to face him. A gentle breeze flickered the cape slightly and slid her hood back letting her hair out into the evening breeze. Hearing Mrs. Isengard invite her in, she nodded but kept standing there watching him. The only thing she would love to do was wrap up in his arms and kiss him. To stay with him for they barely been with each other. Claira wanted to spend more time with him. But since the town guard captain needed to see him, she couldn't stop them or try to delay Xeldine and call out the novices feelings for the Champion. "I hope it isn't bad...I don't want to be without him. If she has something to do with it for her own plans...I will hunt her down and will have my chat with her" The Thief thought to herself. Claira would then look down at the ground feeling as if she was defeated or was talked down greatly. Stepping onto the porch, she would face his mother and say.
"A pleasure to meet you Mrs. Isengard. I'm Claira Heart. Some call me raven." Forcing herself to put on a friendly smile. She didn't know what to expect in this situation. The thief wrapped her arms around her ribs to pretend that she was a bit cold, instead of showing that the pain was pulsing through her body again. But a feeling told her to look back to Orcleous. So she did to see what he was doing or even if he was still there where he was standing last. In her head, she thought. "I love you too..."
