Capcom makes good games, but I don't like how in some of the games I've played, namely Megaman Battle Network, how they've taken out a lot from the game when they were ported over here. I'm highly tempted to learn to read Japanese so i can play some of the Japanese games, understand them, and fully enjoy them how they were originally meant to be. I'm just not sure how I'd learn Japanese. >.< It's also apparent in other games as well that have had things 'changed' for the American version. Take the Master Quest of Ocarina of Time for Zelda. It was apparently the version that Japan got, and it was a lot harder, and more fun in my opinion. We seem to get easier games that I can easily beat in a week if I spent all the time I could on them. :/

Nintendo does Zelda. Only time it wasn't Nintendo was the philips CDI games. Capcom was sure as hell involved in the Zelda games Kenshin mentioned. I'm not sure how, but they had a part in them. Also, Megaman Battle Network sucks. Period. "Legs go, Megaman!".

So they messed up on some of the translation as well. I'm sure it's not the only one that's had problems, and at least it's not as bad as that one game that became a popular icon in hte mistranslation of games. lol

On the Wind Waker bundle with the game cube years ago it came with Master Quest. But Nintendo turned to Capcom to make a gameboy Zelda title when they were working on OoT I think. I have to check that game makers about Zelda before I comferm this, I remember them talking about how Capcom got to do some Zelda games. Also Pheonix Wright for the DS freaking owns. Again, Capcom was behind this game too.

You forgot DK. The DKC series is NOT a spinoff of the Mario series, it's only refrences or ties to the mario series are when Cranky rambles on about how he fought Mario way back in the day.. You also forgot BK and Conker, my runner ups So after that it would be GTA or FE, probably FE.

I've played Banjo-Kazooie as well, the first 2, and the one that came out for Gameboy Advance. I thought there was a third one, but I can't find it if there is. I like 2 as Kazooie can get a transformation to turn her into a dragon. ^^ There was also several different types of eggs to shoot as well.

I went for ones that people would know and remember. Most of the titles on that list are atleast 4+ games. Also they've been around for about 10 years for the youngest series.

I'd say DK is closer than BK will ever be.... Banjo-Kazooie got little support, and kinda just sat there. Several of the DK games have done quite well, and are actually really good games (I liked DK 64, though I never beat it).
Still, neither of them are large enough to constitude a series...

Both Mario and DS was spin off of the arcade game. Mario was just more popular.

But when you ask random people what games they play, GTA will come up more often then DK.

Okay... DKR is a spin off, that would be like counting Yoshi games in the mario section... DKL are just DKC gone GB Are there really that many konga games?
and the GTA thing is just because society's got problems... Stupid GTA....
