personally...i love final fantasy just as much as fire emblem. EXPECT final fantasy X-2....they killed that. WAY to easy, way to short. they could've made it much longer.
but they could've done the same for the sacred stones...20 chapters WITH creature campaign. yeah, sure you get dead people after you do certain parts, not that any are actually useful besides Lyon and Riev (i use him often ;D)

WHERE THE F**K IS KINGDOM HEARTS?!? I can't put my vote on any of them until something a little less heard of OR Kingdom Hearts is put up there. Sure those titles were good, and some of the best known game series there are, but come on! I can name, let's see, Crono Trigger, the Mana games, Kingdom Hearts, Super Smash Bros which technically doesn't belong to any of those categories, the Phantasy Star games, Guitar Hero (I guess that probably wouldn't make it up there, it has no plot), Kirby games, I mean, come on! Everyone has an opinion! This post probably sounds somewhat angry, and I would fix it but I don't feel like it.

Kingdom Hearts has spanned only 3 games(with a number of "Final Mix" or crap like that, which add nothing, really). Sure, there are two more in the making(or three? Meh), but we were talking about series with several games.
Hell, I myself would add Golden Sun, Ys and Castlevania to that list, for the simple reason that both series are awesome. But Golden Sun has only two games(can barely even be considered a "series") and Ys is a series basically no one here cares about. Castlevania I don't know, but I see myself being the only one to vote for it.

Final Mix was just weird. And yes, there are three games coming out. If I really wanted to make an argument, I would throw in the cell phone games, of which there is one out and two in the making that aren't being released anywhere except Japan.

^^ I agree with the first post on here ^^ Off of the top of my head... MG, MG 2: SS, MGS/MGS: TTS, MGS 2/S, MGS 3/S, MGS 4 (R in making), MGS: PO (+), MGO (unless it doesn't come seperate) Canon ones there, but also non-canon... MG (2?) SSR, MG: GB, MGA (I believe is what it would be), MGA 2 I may be missing one, but I don't think that I've added any more. Bonus versions/remakes have a slash between them. And yet that isn't on there?

I favor Resident Evil and Megaman, the best of Capcom. Megaman 9 is going to be ground-breaking.

MGS or FF, one of twain.

Having played more games, I'd say "Ys" or "Tales of". Runner-up could be the Soul Blazer series(Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma) and Trauma Center/Ace Attorney series.

There is no series that is greater than Fire Emblem and Ace Attorney. Final Fantasy may be better than Ace Attorney, but Ace Attorney is a great series that playing those games is certainly a must.

You know, I love Fire Emblem, and it would make my top ten game series probably, but It's not my favorite game series ever. I dunno, I've beaten all of the U.S. released ones except for PoR, and I heard that was pretty good.

^That. I like Fire Emblem and all, but I'm not sure I'd play any other game in the series. Hell, I couldn't even get myself to play either FE6 or FE8. I might try the GameCube one once GC emulation is advanced enough(I got to play a bit of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and Smash Bros. Melee. Simply awesome).

Radiant Dawn was pretty cool. Longer than any of the GBA and back games. Path of Radiance is something like 50 or 60 chapters.
