'Don't eavesdrop, Dray'Gon. 'Sides, we hae three flyers, we can carry them over the mountains if we must.' Alan said harsly.

OoC: Okay, there still could be border patrols that Lyndsey's friendly with though....
Lyndsey smiled openly. "It would be so much easier on everyone if we took a path though. That way we'd save our strength for when we have to fight. I don't want you people collapsing on me," she said, being as believably sweet as possible. Her biggest obstacle was the overly suspicious wyvern rider. She suspected he was sent to spy on her, or something. He wasn't very good at it, that was for sure. She widened her grin and motioned towards the pass.

'I don't have time for you lip, soldier! You have no say in this.' Alan yelled back. 'But if you prefer maintaining human form, Dray'Gon. Me and Lyndsey can search the mountain for a path.' He looked at Matis, he was the one who really made all the decisions.

"Why is it always me?" Matis asked, sighing, when everyone suddenly looked at him after Alan's comment. "We are a GROUP. We have to decide things as a group." he added, waving the Mani Katti around.
"I believe the best thing to do would be for Alan and Lyndsey to look for a path. Besides, they probably are the better rested ones, because the wyvern and pegasus do all the job for them." he said, almost mocking them.

Follow him? Who the hell does this overblown wyvern lord thing he is? Growling, Lyndsey set off after the wyvern lord. She had been here before, and knew where the paths were. She'd have to be careful, she wanted Matis dead. The wyvern lord may be annoying, but he wasn't supposed to be a target. She might take him out for her own pleasure though... She flew just behind the wyvern lord. He was heading right for Juchack's camp, if her memory served. The old mercenary wouldn't shoot Lyndsey, but might just take out the wyvern lord. Lyndsey was already forming a story in her mind, involving bandits and terrible accidents.

(OOC: For your information, I wasn't eavesdropping. I heard Matis suggest going through (or over) the mountains, and Lyndsey suggested going around. Dray'Gon has his own reservations about Lyndsey, based on his first encounter with her, but seems to be warming up a bit. It is with that in mind that I made my post. It was not because of the wispering between you and Matis. Then again, we can leave it as that since dragons may have good ears, but I wasn't intending to eavesdrop. ) Dray'Gon looked at Alan oddly as he was not aware that he had been eavesdropping. He then turned to Matis, and said, "I believe everyone leaves the final decision to you, as you are the one who is leading the group. We may give you our suggestions as a group, but you are the one who tends to take those suggestions, and form a plan." He then watched as the two other fliers headed out over the mountains with a careful eye, as this may very well prove Lyndsey's alliegence.

'Well, looks like we struck gold. A road and something that looks like settlement.' He said at seeing Juchack's camp. 'What do you think? An official Etrurian toll or a bandit camp?'

'Don't take it too hard, Matis. You're the best commander I know.' He said, he could have been annoying. But never kick a dog (or savage, same difference really) when he's down.

"We should probably get a closer look," replied Lyndsey, looking down at the camp. She moved slowly towards the camp, so that they would be able to identify her (and not shoot).

'I asked you a question, Lyndsey. I know I have every reason not to put any worth in your opinion, thank you very much. But I'd like it all the same.' Alan said descending right beside her.

"And I said I'd have to get closer to tell," she replied through gritted teeth. She glanced over at the wyvern lord, who seemed determined to try her nerves.

"How dare he, I've been studying dragons and the scouring for 10 years, he thinks I wouldn't know what happened to Exaccus, I know where all the god damned weapons are" Brad continued grumbling angrily. Allthough I should probably try to make friends with these people, I've allready got that little mage mad at me, I don't want another member of this troop pissed at me, I mean if Ryan trusts him he can't be that bad can he? Brad thought to himself, his friend Ryan had always been a fantastic judge of character.

Not sure what to do while Alan, and Lyndsey were off searching for a mountain pass, Dray'Gon looked for a place to sit down. He noticed Brad seemed to be upset about something, but wasn't sure how to find out without possibly upsetting him further.
Looking to Matis, he studied him for a moment. While he had seen Matis before, he hadn't really had the chance to study him that well. It seemed that Kenshin was the main leader of this group, yet from what he managed to glean from people in his search for help against the bandits, he had heard Matis' name more. Perhaps it was Kenshin's attitude, as Matis seemed a bit friendlier, and outgoing. Whatever the case, he had found them... and in so doing, uncovered an even greater threat.
Dray'Gon then gazed back at the mountains, waiting for Alan, and Lyndsey to return. It seemed like it was taking too long, but perhaps he was just being a bit impatient...
