Wein saw Matis come over and greeted him. "'Lo there, Matis. Fine morning isn't it?"
"Midday would be excellent, I'm itching to leave. Haven't traveling a group of people for two years. I think I'll enjoy the company." Wein looked towards Dirk and shrugged. "We really haven't been doing much," said Wein. "I tried to spark up a conversation, but I get the impression he's the strong silent type."

The pirate already left early that morning, his back still hurt from his... bed. First thing in the morning he readied the boats and supplies and hid them. Now he met up with the group to guide them to their new transportation.
"I know I am not the one in charge, but we have to get things ready soon, then we can keep traveling for a longer time, the faster we go, the shorter it takes. And I am not going to put much time into reaching the next place."

Cefia had one of those days when she just suddenly gone into a trance and lost everyone. She had spent the previous night at her parent's house, but in the morning another fight started and she was pretty much thrown out of there. Well f**k them, she didn't care to return back to that place, all she wanted to do was go back to the sea. She hobbled along the streets, trying to find Janus and Nissa.
(OOC: I broke the silence! w0000tttttt!)
Just as she turned onto another a street, she met face to face with the monster of the world. It was that vicious dog the that was like half the size of a baby. Careful not to move to much or too quickly, she slowly backed away. Then the attack started, the little dog bolted at her with the loud unbearable squeaky bark. Gasping she made a run for it, also pretty much screeching.

"Hmm?" Dirk turned to see a girl running from a small dog. She was screaming as if she was about to die, but the dog was just barking at her at the top of its voice. Dirk brought Kabold over to the dog. "Annoying dog, be quiet." The dog whimpered but didn't bark anymore.

Wein jumped as she heard the screaming girl run towards them. "Woah!" he said as she ran towards them. He held his hands up in front of him. "Slow down, slow down, it's just a puppy."

"It is not just a puppy! It is a ferocious monster in a small compact body!" Cefia replied, slowing down her pace as the thing rushed away. Her breathing became less labored, her heart beat finally slowing down. Taking a few more deep breaths, she stared at the man who told her it was a puppy. He wasn't very familiar to her, but most things in Etruria seemed so unfamiliar.
"It was not, just a puppy." she repeated in a calmer tone of voice. It was sort of embarrassing to run away from that thing..

Wein sighed. "I'm sorry miss...uh...girl," he said, gesturing to the puppy, "but that is just a tiny little dog. I'm sure it just surprised you." He took a good look at the girl. She didn't look like she should be wandering alone. Considering she was scared by a little puppy, he knew she shouldn't be wandering alone. "Are you traveling with anyone?"

"Well, I was traveling with two people called Janus and Nissa, but I lost them yesterday night." "I'm not just a girl! I'm like 20 and becoming 21 soon!" she stated firmly. Her growing frustration was beginning to show, as her hand instinctively reached to where her axe was supposed to be. When she felt air, she realized her axe must have fallen off during the chase.
"Wait a sec," she said, before retracing her steps back, her senses alert for the little dog. She found her axe and quickly darted back to the man.

Wein scratched the back of his head in embarrassment. "I'm sorry...miss," he said a little more carefully, "but you look a tad young for your age." He laughed. "I guess you're only 2 years younger than me!" He stopped laughing and ran his hand through his hair. "I'm sorry if I offended, but I haven't had to deal with the pleasantries of civilization for awhile. I'm a little rusty." He held out his hand. "My name's Wein Lowell of Ostia. Would you mind telling me your name so I can refer to you properly?"

"I'm Dirk, I think there might've been some other travelers at the inn over there." Dirk pointed out the Inn and chuckled after thinking about the dog again. He grinned. Somewhere in the world, a kitten died because of that grin.

OOC: I was trying to wait for Nissa, but I guess it is not to be.
IC: Janus tried to recover from being knocked to his knees by the chair that had cracked over his back, and cracked his head pretty good too. His vision was hazy and he turned around, pulling his bow out. Before he could launch an arrow though, the bow was pushed against his chest by one of the ruffians slamming into him, knocking him to the ground.
This could be going better.
It is said that necessity is the mother of invention, and he really needed some help now. Since his bow was useless, he drew an arrow and thrust it down into the back of the man attempting to pin him. It was only a minor injury, but it loosened the grip enough for him to slip out.
He now had one injured and 2 up to deal with...not fun.

Well, the archer could certainly fight. In fact, Alexia was surprised to see the man handle close quarters combat as well as he did. She'd already elected to help him, as the ruffians looked, well, like ruffians, and she didn't like the number situation.
Alexia dashed to the fight, swinging the flat of her blade against the side of one of the attackers' head. He hadn't been expecting the blow, and Alexia had quite a bit of training, being a paladin and all. So he staggered from her hit.
"So, what did you do to anger the locals?" Alexia asked, smiling. She didn't look the least bit worried by the mostly injured ruffians now. After all, they were outclassed.

Matis greeted the girl too and introduced himself. "Matis of the Wind Tiger tribe of Sacae. Nice to meet you" whoever you may be. The axe she carried on her back certainly stood out. It wasn't common for a girl to be carrying a weapon, much less an axe. Well...she's not the only one who-
Matis' thoughts were interrupted by a loud and metallic sound coming from inside the inn. "W-what's going on?" he asked to no one in particular, as he rushed back to the inn. Alexia was standing alongside a man, confronted by two other men. Matis looked at Alexia, trying to catch her attention without alerting the ruffians. He moved his head and hands, as if asking if the needed help. Hopefully, she would get the message.

Wein heard the noise as well, but wasn't nearly as subtle as Matis. "What's going on?" he asked loudly as he entered the inn. Seeing the ruffians, he untied his bow and it sprung open. Knocking an arrow, he pointed it at the one of the uninjured ruffians. "I'd stop attacking that man," he said, referencing the the archer, "unless you want an arrow through your head." Of course, Wein didn't really want to shoot the man, and if it came down to it, would probably shoot him in a less vital spot, but threats were always useful in bar fights.

The cleric was only just awake when he walked into the brawl downstairs. "WHAT IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS GOOD IS GOING ON HERE!?!" he exclaimed while waving with his staff. Although he did not look where he waved his staff he knocked one of the man in his stomach, it did not have force behind it, but what did that matter for someone with the blood lust anyway? Crying in fear he jumped behind the counter and fled away.
