Selibas could see Poliar in the distance. It was big, the biggest city he had ever seen. He kept Lightning at a pace easy to match by Synkkis. He looked to the man and said, "So what's Illia like?" He wanted to know his companion better.

(OoC : Sorry for the long absence guys)
Asri had having happy face since they left the bandit hideout. When Selibas and Synkkis were busy fighting those thugs, she found their treasury room. It was her instinct which led her to the golds inside, like a bee to a flower. Knowing her, you should not be surprised that she easily lockpicked the door.
Now, she was on her horse with a smile on her face. Two rather big pouches on the each side of the saddle.
"Hey, handsome guy!" Asri called Selibas that way because she knew that he was weak to women. She wanted to see his reaction.
"What are you planning to do with this golds?" She asked.

Synkkis appreciated the break of silence. He almost ran out of tunes from Ilia to play in his head. He was excellent at keeping his mind occupied. "Huh... Other than the wind and cold that bites and the snow that blankets nearly everything? I'm glad you asked." He was about to continue, but Scarlet jumped into the conversation, which immediately pushed Synkkis into the third arm... or the saying went similar to that. Gah.
Even though he was a little sore both emotionally and physically by Scarlet not being able to jump in the fray when they both faced death, at least her little operation "payed off". The purple-cloaked dark pupil barely found a thing after the guards cleaned house.
"Oh dear Asri, I have a booboo. Kiss it better?" He said in a very annoyed demeanor, pointing to his left leg between the outer upper thigh and his hip.

Selibas was about to mention his week time in Nabata, and how it was the exact opposite of what Illia sounded like, but then Scarlet came into view. Handsome guy. Did she mean him? He blushed and tried to greet her. "Ub haff." Smooth. He bowed his head and tried to look unimportant as Synkkis spoke to Scarlet.
He pretended to be very interested in a patch of grass. The blades of a few of the places seemed a bit different, longer wider, or different in color. He wondered why they were called blades. His sword was straight until it got to the tip. It wasn't all at an angle like the vegatation he was staring at. Wait, was he actually being interested in grass. He looked up again, sadly directly at Scarlet, "G-goof yuj shmamel."

As always, Selibas' face turned red which put a wider smile in Asri's face. That kind of reaction was cute, she bet he never had any realy experience with women. But she still couldn't understand what he were saying, whatever, she didn't mind to keep the golds for herself if he didn't give her an instruction soon.
"Thanks, but I will save my lips for later," she said jokingly. Asri didn't care that Synkis were acting like an annoying brat, she was too happy right now. "Well, if you seriously wanted a kiss, you should try better to get it." She winked at Synkkiss, although he probably wouldn't have a same reaction with Selibas if she did it to the green haired mercenary.
Asri heard Selibas speaking to her. Grinning, she matched her horse's speed with him and moved closer, as close as she could. "What were you saying handsome guy? I didn't get it."
She sure liked to tease the mercenary.

Selibas blushed even more. He was unable to look at any patches of grass, he was to distracted by her legs bouncing on the horse. Selibas shook his head, she was older than him and he needed to get control of himself. He tried to speak, but she had called him handsome and smiled at him. He didn't stand a chance.
He said, "Y-you are gery nutifin." He meant that he thought she was very beautiful. He couldn't say why he was trying to flirt with her through his mush-mouthed state.

The Ilian rolled his eyes and continued on, ignoring Scarlet's attempts to get under his skin. Looking over to Selibas in his saddened state made Synkkis feel wrong. How he turned from Wolfcub Geezer Slayer to a mumbling mush of hormones was unnerving.
"Selibas, ahead. Is that Poliar?" He pointed forward down the road. The man must have asked the question many times whenever the party approached a settlement. He desperately needed a map. Looking back to Selibas and Asri, he snapped his fingers twice trying to get their attention. "Ach, pay attention! The more quickly we get to Poliar, the higher probability that we will have the element of surprise. Check your map."
Kyyneltya didn't want to be so strict or demanding, but he wasn't going to sit around all day when there were enemies to be slain and bounties to be collected. Besides, he felt he had a better grasp on his powers since their last encounter in the bandit hideout.

Asri was going to tease Selibas further when Synkkis stopped her by asking Selibas a question. She looked at direction then turned to Synkkis. He might be becoming impatient, it was understandable though. He was still young anyway. Wait! She just sounded like an old woman...
By the way, the thief suddenly got an idea to tease Synkkis. "Ooh, Synkky is angry. I am scared...Selibas, tell him to not yell at me." Asri hugged Selibas arm and acted like a (weak) woman, which was obviously impossible. She was even crying. Well, if anyone believed it they would be doomed until the day they died.

OoC: I'll be contorlling the Lance Roses.
Ic: Selibas tried to mumble a brief be quiet to Synkkis, but Asri seriously overestimated his speech capability. Especially when a woman was holding his arm. He nodded at Synkkis' question however, and as he took his eyes off Asri he noticed a group of soldiers flying a red banner marching toward them. He was finally able to stammer out, "S-scarl-let go to the left and enter the city und-detected."

"Huh?" Asri frowned. There was a group of soldiers heading toward them. The thief let go Selibas' arm and turned her horse to the left. She also noticed that Selibas' tone changed and he spoke better. "Aaw, it's not fun..." She sighed.
"Actually, why do I get a feeling that we are we avoiding them?" The thief asked, Asri didn't really pay attention when they were in bandit hideout after all, she hadn't know about their next mission.

Selibas said, keeping her out of his vision "We're not avoiding them, I just don't like the look of about thirty people coming this way, and unless you think we can each take ten trained warriors, I'd suggest we take precautions."
--------
Major Sherman Yumin had been having a bad few days. Correction, he had been having a bad few years. He had been Major of one of the most respected private armies in all of Elibe. That had all changed with Elimine Damn Illia.
Before Illian occupation, Poliar had one of the greatest private millataries in all of Elibe. It had been called Hartmuts garden. This was due to each unit being named after a type of flower. It sounds un-masculine but any insult was met with death by a man with the emblem of a Cresanthumum. Some units hade the sam flower but were seperated by color. Every unit, no matter the size (most being very large) had battalions of different weapons.
And for almost a year after the bandit war, the skies had been clear of an Illian banner. But fate is inevitable. A young Illian Colonel, Diaz Lakemaker, was put in charge of the city. She could of disbanded the garden, since they could easily overpower the Illian force. But instead she used them as a power move, and to satisfy her laziness. She made the Garden into the worlds largest guard force. She was too busy enjoying life to worry about enforcing justice.
A few days ago, she had publicly humiliated both the Red and White Roses, by saying that the rose was the least masculine flower. So when Major Yumin saw travelers on the horizon, he was ready to enforce even th idiotic laws Diaz had made.
-------
Selibas didn't like the look of the fat man riding towards him in red armor with a large force of soldiers. Especially when he pulled very close.
Major Yumin said, "Permits please?" Selibas replied, "Permits for what?" Major Yumin looked a bit angry about that, "For your Swords, and his tome." Selibas replied, "I'll show you mine if you show me yours."
Yumin was even angrier then, especially when he heard a few of his soldiers unfolding their permits. "If you don't show me your permits, the punishment is a year of servitude, and you re already in our bouandaries, so you can't simply leave."
Selibas gritted his teeth as the other soldiers put ropes around his and Synkkis' hands. The Major said," The tall pale one, put him in the library with that magic, what have you man from Illia. The short Sacaen, he looks strong for his size, he'll serve as a page for us gentlemen."

With the guards acting so quickly and there being so many of them, Synkkis had a bad taste in his mouth. He had to give away his father's tome to these thick-skulled louts. Escape was sure to present itself. They didn't know who he was and they didn't care that he was Ilian. Truthfully, they were bandits in shining armor and cozy homes. The dark pupil cursed under his breath as he was forced away. He swore to himself that he would hunt down the fat man and whomever had created such a law. Harsh punishment for a meager law.
"Comrade! Do not forget about the symbol! We shall meet again!" He was able to slip his cape over his shoulder and reveal his family's crest tattoo'd to his arm. It was a crucifix and crossbones blackened.
"Yeah, yeah. Save the heroics. After a year you can do whatever you want. Now shut up and make this easy for both of us." A brutish guard grunted, binding Synkkis' arms.
The Ilian did not reply, however. He had to keep his mind calm and collected. Any frenzy or panic would blind him.

Sherman stroked Lightning, noting the quality of the small Lycian Horse. He decided to voice his opinion, " Take this horse to the stable, it's quite well built for it's size, and for being Lycian." He motioned his hands for the soldiers holding Selibas to follow, and headed back to town.

Asri watched from far while Selibas and Synkkis being captured and dragged into the city. So, this was the reason why Selibas told her to go by herself. But what next? Did he expect her to go there risking her neck to help them? That depended on her mood, and the reward, of course. She wondered why they should have permits for carrying weapons. This world was full with armed bandits, mercenaries, warriors!!! Well, maybe that depended on who were ruling to decide that.
"Great. A work...And a difficult one. Can I just leave them here?" Asri sighed as she rubbed her head, this was annoying. She was debating with herself about leaving them or saving them. She usually never helped people so there was no need to start now. But, they had proved to be a source of money, these golds were a good proof. "I think I can at least try..." She finally decided to help.
"Let see...I need to go inside to get more information about what will happen to them." Asri wrapped her sword with a cloth and tied it in the saddle. "You look like a fishing rod now," she said, smiling. Casually, she headed to the city gate.
"Greeting..." A guard approached her when she arrived in the gate. "Could you..." But before he could say anything else, she leaned over and put a pouch on his palm. "No red haired woman enters the city, right?" The guard had a disturbed expression for a second before he finally nodded and put the pouch into his pocket. Asri smiled and entered the city.
"Now I will look for a drink first. They can wait," Asri said to herself and started looking for a tavern. It was killing two birds with one stone, a tavern was always a good place to drink and gather information.
OoC : PM the detail later
