Elias was, for lack of a better word, relaxing. His body sprawled across the green grass as he simply stared straight up into the sky, watching the clouds lazily roll by. Demon wasn't far away, grazing on the grass. He wasn't nearly as calm as he looked though, his mind racing with a million and a half thoughts. He took in a deep breath, his chest heaving heavily before he let it out in a single 'pah'. It was lively and energetic, even here on the outside of the festival. He didn't really want to get involved right now, he wasn't entirely sure he was up to the task. Still he could hear the people talking, laughing, dancing, eating (who chews that loudly?) and in general enjoying their life. Though in particular there was a set of footsteps that were growing louder as they quickly found their way near to him.
He bent up and crossed his legs to sit on the earth as he looked up at the person who had come to him. It was that one girl... Uh... Mana's sister. Or, wait, crap. No that wasn't it. Her friend Gaea? No not Gaea. Something close though... that's it! It was Terra. Terra had come up to him, and he looked at her with a somewhat weary grin. She began to speak to him, and he chuckled. "Awesome? You flatter me madam. It's simply the truth, but flattery all the same." He laughed with a cocky smile, replacing the tired one he had before. The relaxed look he had earlier completely covered up by his usual Crimson bravado.
"Eh, I'm just kinda tired. I'm sure my friends can live without me, the world may not be as colorful but they need to learn to live a life without crimson." He said, once again laughing and having that cocky grin. His head traced across the horizon, finding where Mana and Wyatt were. It was far enough he couldn't make them out, but he was sure they were having fun. "Besides, they should have some time alone." He waved his hand in front of his face with closed eyes, as if he was waving the whole thing off. "They're so awkward around each other, If I'm there it'll just be a very attractive and convenient excuse to not deal with it. You're Mana's friend, I'm sure you've noticed it by now. Imagine traveling with that." Elias was oblivious, but come on, it was painful in its obviousness. If even the Crimson Mage has taken notice, you aren't being very subtle.
He wasn't really interested in dancers either. Food? Yes, but he can eat after they're done so they don't run into each other. He'll catch up with them later so they don't worry (though he's not sure why they would, he's the crimson mage after all) but he sort of wanted to give them time away from him. "You don't need to worry about me, I'm pretty much perfect." He told her with a nod. He waited for a moment, letting out a deep breath that almost seemed to deflate him. Looking tired again like he had to begin with, he worked up a more genuine smile as he spoke once more. "Thank you though."

Terra, the Arulad archer"Well...I've noticed there is something between them, if we are talking about the same thing..." Terra said as she sat him. She wondered why he decided to relax himself alone here. It wasn't wrong, but he could have enjoyed the music or food instead of being here. Maybe he had something in mind or simply needed some time alone, she wouldn't know. "Maybe I shouldn't have sent Kai, my friend, accompanying them..." she muttered to herself. "You know...you are a little different from what I heard. You are...less energetic. Or maybe it is just the bad mood? I heard you are quite loud, Elias the Crimson Mage." The girl had been interested with him since they met, despite her not showing it much. The rumors and stories about Crimson Mage had reached even her tribe, although it wasn't as popular as if the rumors hit a Lycia or Bern town. And she had to admit, he had quite interesting aura around him that attracted her. Well, he looked pretty tired (and bored) right now, but if the rumors were true he might turn out to be the most interesting person. "If you want to give them some space, and if you don't mind accompany a weak girl doing some chores, how about coming with me? I am going to check some preparations for tonight, just to make sure everything is alright," she said. "We can also grab some food in our way," she added.

His head followed the woman as she sat down next to him, which was just fine. Free plains and all that, besides it was her festival and not his. He wouldn't lie and say he didn't want to be alone, but as long as he wasn't around Wyatt and Mana it was probably fine. He didn't mind if Terra saw him acting all listless and lacking of energy, partially because it was too late and she already caught him like that, also because after they leave this plain he would probably never see her again. While he would see Wyatt and Mana every day, so if he had to be a bummer around someone might as well be someone who won't care to remember it. He didn't want to worry them after all, they went through the trouble to try and include him on their journeys, it would be rude to impose himself like that. He needed to be full of life, energetic, always happy and always shouting. Posing dramatically, challenging Mana to races for no reason, teasing Wyatt for being such a grump, try and make even mundane things fun. That was the Elias they liked. Or at least tolerated in a friendly manner.
"Yeah, it's just my bad mood." He waved it away with a smile. "Usually I'm better than this." Usually he'd be ecstatic that people have heard of him from sources that was not himself or his promoter. Or at least he thought he would be, it's never actually happened so maybe this is how it just always felt? That was a depressing thought, the thing he was searching with such vigor and fire being this lukewarm and slightly annoying. He wasn't even sure why he wanted recognition anymore these days, honestly he wasn't sure why he wanted it in the first place. It was more of something he hunted after because he had done so for so long, and he didn't want all that time he put into to be a waste. "I can still be loud as you want, it just hurts my throat after a while you know?" He said with a laugh. "Sorry I'm not living up to my reputation."
He stood up with little applause, putting his hands on his back and pushing until he heard a little crack. "Oof." He groaned as he stretched a bit, his butt numb from sitting on it so long and grass stains on his pants. Taking off his hat for a moment he scratched the tomato red hair that hid underneath, have a really bad case of hat hair going on there. Then again his hair was always crazy and wild, so it was just a different sort of crazy and wild hair. For someone who says he cares so much about fashion and style, he just lets his hair do whatever. Slipping it back on and straightening it, he smiled. "Sure, I can help. It's my civic duty to help someone in need after all. Whether it's chores or a life crippling injury, Elias gots your back." He thrusted his thumb into his chest with a lazy grin. Sure he wasn't feeling his best, but come on, he's not gonna let someone just be in need and not help. It wasn't even for notoriety or anything anymore, he just really liked helping people.

"It's okay. It's not like I was expecting you to laugh, shout, boast, or anything." Terra talked to him casually, as if there were good friends already. This girl did share some common characteristics with her friend, Mana. They were pretty open to strangers and easygoing kinds, probably these similarities was what made them close friends. "It will be my duty to help you lighten up your mood then!" she remarked jokingly. He looked alright but she could tell that Elias needed some push. Whatever his problems were, she was sure they would dissapear the festival. "Lets get moving. I am not in hurry but it will be better if I can finish it early. Don't want to miss the fun, you know..." The girl stood up first and stretched her hand to Elias. She could use his company for a while, and this was for his sake too. He might need a company rather than spending time alone. Terra just hope she didn't push him too much, she didn't want to annoy her new friend. After a short walk, mostly with Terra taking Elias into some food stalls to show him how delicious Sacaen culinary was, they arrived in the first stop. It was a tent which was bigger than the others, the pattern and the color were also more grand and artistic. She tilted her head toward the entrance, signaling the mage to enter with her. The man who guarded the entrance smiled and moved aside from their path after realizing that the girl in front of him was Arulad chief's daughter. Inside the tent Elias could see some unique objects hanged around them and tables filled with tools needed for performing some kind of sacred ritual, he might also recognize some Sacae-style weapons and magic rods. "This is where we store our artifacts and some of important things. Feel free to touch, just don't break anything. I need to look for a few things. Oh, and tell me if you see a sword with red hilt and golden scabbard," she said as she moved to the nearest chest. "It's for Mana, by the way," she added. It seemed Terra wanted to give Mana some gift, and it was a sword, the sword maiden certainly would like it.

Wyatt laughed heartily at the conclusion of the contest. Kai was strong, very much so. If it hadn't been for Wyatt relying on his arms more than usual, he wasn't sure he would have been able to beat him.
But it wasn't a life or death contest, it wasn't about showing someone up, it was just a friendly match. Wyatt accepted the drink with thanks. "You know, it feels like forever since I had a contest with someone that was just for fun. Life or death fighting, shutting up some braggart in a street arena," he said the second line with a wink to Mana. "Sometimes it is nice to just sit down and relax with a simple game. So here's to the festival," he said, taking the alcohol offered to him and downing it in a go.
Wyatt almost never drank, most smiths didn't. For one, dealing with flammable liquids when you worked on a forge was a bad idea. The second point was that you'd sweat a lot in the forge, and alcohol wasn't good for that. Better to drink water. He was no stranger to heat, but the odd liquid burned it's way down his throat. He coughed once after clearing his throat, shaking his head a bit.
"Yikes! You weren't kidding when you said it was strong," he said, his eyes tearing a little bit. "And you can keep your title, I don't want to imagine how many guys you have challenging you to be 'The Strongest'. I don't think my arm could take all the challenges," he added with a laugh.
He noticed Mana hanging around the two of them. He'd almost forgotten about her. Turning to glance at her reminded him of why, as a large amount of distracting thoughts entered his memory. "Ah, right. It's been a long trip, why don't we sit down with a meal and share some stories? It's been one hell of a trip, and I don't doubt you guys have some impressive stories too," he suggested, eager to keep the conversation going. Silence made him think, and that really wasn't what he wanted to do right now.

Mana smiled when he talked about the arena. That was great experience for them, although they would have enjoyed it better without the dragon and the riot. The girl remembered that they didn't get their promised match, what a waste, really. They had advanced through their matchs but the dragon appearance had forced the event to end early.
Kai grinned when he watched Wyatt couldn't really stand straight after drinking. "Nah, title or not, people have watched you today, I can guarantee some people will challenge you. Or, you could be challenger instead! There are my father and my older brother who stronger than me, I never beat them you know. Well, you could try if you like," Kai said after emptying his second glass. He didn't seem bothered by the possibility of this man challenging and taking down his entire family, he might feel interested to see his cocky brother losing, in fact.
"A meal, huh? Actually, I have just eaten but I guess I can use some extra meat," Kai said, shrugging. After all, their match had made him hungry again. Mana seemed delighted that she would have taste Sacaen foods again after so long. The taste of home, it would be nice if she could have it again. "That's what I suggested, wasn't it? So where are we going to eat, Kai?" she asked. "By the way, it's just me, or you really have forgotten about me?" Kai finally noticed Mana. He didn't really pay attention to her before because he only had the match on his mind. It actually took some extra seconds for him to recognize her. The man put her hand through his hairs as he looked at the girl, with mixed expression in his face.
"Is this really what I am thinking? You are...eer...Mana of Hawkeye, right?" The mention of the girl's name didn't escape the crowd's ears. They who heard seemed to begin whispering and staring. It wasn't weird for them to do so, they must be fairly surprised to have a Hawkeye attend the festival. Mana herself understood the surprised expression Kai was having now. "That's me. But maybe we could talk about it somewhere else? I don't really like the stares." Kai replied with a quick nod as he began to lead them away.
------- 10 minutes later -------
The group had found a nice place to have their meal. The Sacaens had organized their food stalls near the north part of the camp and provided some big carpets to sit near those stalls. Mana found one for her and the two men while Kai left to get their meals, the big man insisted that Mana and Wyatt just had to sit and relax and let him handle the rest. "You know...it feels weird. I am finally back to my people now but I feel like...something is missing. I recognized some faces here and it seemed they recognized me too. Well, they probably feel awkward to come to me and ask "You are still alive?" or might just feel unsure it's me they saw. Well, I can't really blame them," she said, looking at Wyatt. The maiden looked a bit sad although she tried to hide it by smiling.

Wyatt was content to let Mana and Kai reintroduce themselves, but he could see instantly that the reaction from it was bothering her. The last of her people, that had to be a heavy burden to bear.
"You know, my pop used to tell me a story. A long time ago, when Lycia was really young, they had a tradition. Whenever one realm needed help, the other houses that sent aid would carry the flag of the house they were aiding. The idea, so I am told, was that despite our differences we were all brothers. Don't you think it is like that here? I mean, I've heard tales of Sacaen tribes fighting each other, but you still have the common bond in your homeland. You're among family here, right? If anything, you ensure that the Hawkeye tribe still comes to honor the tradition. I'm sure nobody would want to forget about em."
He saw Kai coming back, so he finished his comment. "Besides, we've already got Elias cornering the market on fake smiles, I don't want to be the only one enjoying myself. It's a party, we should just celebrate that we can be here to enjoy it!"
One too many brushes with death had made an odd change in the smith. Life was far too short to spend it worrying and fretting, it should be enjoyed while we had the chance. He wasn't planning on wasting any time moping about.
...He said that, but he wasn't sure he meant it. Some things were just too important to rush into without thinking carefully.

"Yeah, I know....They are family to me but it's still a little sad to think that I am the last of my tribe. As I told you before...Arulad, Fanales, and Hawkeye tribes have always had very close bond, like a big family. Not that I am saying that we don't consider other tribes as Sacaen but...It's just sad that our family had lost one of its branchs, sparing probably only me." Mana seemed slightly better after listening to his words. She unsheated her sword, Falcatta, and stared at the weapon. "If only that time I was as strong as I am now. Maybe I could at least save my mother," she thought silently.
The girl threw herself down on the carpet, looking up at the bright sky. The sun and felt nice, it would be waste to spend the day with glooomy thought, just like what Wyatt said. "You notice too, huh? Elias doesn't look like himself today," she said. Her hand rested on her forehead as she rolled slightly toward Wyatt. Mana still had difficulty staring at the smith, she tended to get embarassed just by him returning her gaze but this time she kept looking at him. What a good friend he had been, always stayed as her best support anytime she needed someone to lean to. "I won't ask him, though. He is free to keep secret and talk about them whenever he likes. I just hope he is getting better now. Like you said, it's time to enjoy our peaceful time here. I could use some fun myself."
"Sorry for the wait!" Kai came carrying some plates for them, he was assisted by two women. Mana didn't know how Wyatt would react, she herself was rather intimidated by the amount of foods Kai brought. She knew he was pretty glutton but it was too much. Soon after, many foods were served before them. Among them were a pot with soup, a big plate with ten slices of roasted deer meats, a few plates with seasoned vegetables, some fruits, and a few bowls of Fanales traditional food which was a mixture of cooked eggs, eggplants, and some meat. Mana sat quietly in her place, not sure how to start eating while Kai had started chewing his third roasted deer.
"So Mana....Well, I have to say this....It's good to know that you survived," he said. He seemed to hesitate speaking to her because he didn't want to make the atmosphere gloomy. But he had to say it, anyway. Mana looked at Kai and Wyatt then smiled. She felt quite grateful hearing that from an old friend. "Yeah...Thank you, I guess..." She nodded as she finally loosened up a little. Those foods suddenly looked appetizing she thought. "So...is he the one who saved you?" Kai asked, switching his gaze from Mana to Wyatt. The girl only shrugged and glanced at the smith. "Sort of...not from the attack but you could say he saved in his own way," she replied, smiling brightly.

Wyatt followed suit when Mana laid down on the cloth. For some reason just looking at the blue sky made him relaxed. "You know, I've been moving so fast for the last few years, I never really stopped to consider how much I missed my old life. Simple family life, working my trade, and not being in peril every day. I mean, I was thinking about it in Bern when I spoke with Clair." He paused for a moment, looking towards Kai as he walked over.
The amount of food he'd brought was staggering, but Wyatt had a healthy appetite. He wasn't far behind Kai with his eating, but he paced himself a bit better to keep from getting ill. Kai was used to this food, and Wyatt had traveled enough to know that eating too much of strange food didn't always go well.
"Save her? Trust me, Mana never needed me to save her. I'm not really good at that whole 'protector' thing. I've been around though, fighting brigands in Lycia, as well as some far nastier things. Was at Ostia before it became a crater, broke my way into an Etrurian prison and then out of the same city with two 'prisoners'. Even fought in the Bern tournament earlier. It's funny, ya know? I set out from home hoping to do all these great things, and when I look at all I did I cannot think of anything else to add to it. What's a warrior to do when the fighting's done, eh?" He posed the question to both of them as he took a bite of the meat. It was probably a reasonable question to give the both of them.

Mana rolled her eyes when Wyatt mentioned Ostia. "Wasn't it you who caused it?" she thought. She understood that he wouldn't talk about it in open or to anyone, that disaster wouldn't be a pleasant story to tell. The blacksmith then continued with his tale, Kai seemed interested with it and Mana nodded in acknowledgement when the tournament was mentioned.
Wyatt raised an interesting question afterward. The two Sacaens looked at each other as they thought about the answer. It was surprisingly difficult question for them because they never really thought about the end of their journey. Mana had many things she wanted to accomplish, some of those would need time, probably years. She frowned as she thought carefully. But before the swordswoman could provide a satisfying answer, the other Sacaen laughed and threw a slice of meat to Wyatt. "I don't really know, honestly. What are you fighting for anyway? If it's me, I think I will always find another reason to fight. Fighting to protect my tribe, or all Sacaens, or someone dear to me, or maybe my belief, I think I will end up doing that. But, you know... starting my own family seems nice if I really have nothing to do. Or maybe I could do both, being a warrior and also a good husband and father," he said, laughing and looking a little embarrassed at the end. "Honestly, you can't think what to do next probably because you just need a short rest, huh? You probably have gone through a hell of fighting, after all." The man then went for his fourth bowl after answering the question.
Mana giggled when Kai answered the question so easily. He wasn't a smart person or a thinker type, but that what made him so pure and honest. His answer was surprisingly good, by the way. The girl put down her plate and closed her eyes, chuckling. "Yeah, I agree. I don't really understand your question probably because I still has many things I want to do, Wyatt. But maybe, like Kai, I will never stop fighting. If I can't find a new goal for my fighting, then I will just fight to protect what I have," she replied. The girl looked pretty confident with her reply. To sum everything, both had similar answers. They believed their fighting would never stop. Quite reasonable if they considered life itself as their arena. They would end up finding new reasons, whether it was to protect or to destroy something. "If you can't find yours then just help me accomplishing mine. I could use some assistant."
"Say, Kai...Will you end up marrying Terra?" Mana asked teasingly. It made Kai flustered and choke his food. The man then frantically searched for water when the meat got stuck in his throat. People around them who watched or overheard the scene started to laugh.

Wyatt listened to the answers, but something in them didn't sit right. Fighting to protect what you treasured wasn't fighting, it was defending. Everyone would be expected to defend, but he didn't have a reason to go out and journey across the countryside anymore. He'd made a name for himself, he'd practiced his trade in every corner of Elibe, save the deserts of Nabata, and he'd even found objects that would be worthy of legend.
And so, the same nagging question came into his mind.
'What now?'
When Mana gave her answer, Wyatt saw an odd simplicity in it. She wanted to be the best, but how long did one journey with that goal in mind? Never ending, never stopping, what a way to live a life. Wyatt wasn't an adventurer at heart, he was a kid who wanted a taste of adventure. He'd gotten his fill, and his memories made him yearn for what he'd known for most of his life. Stability, simplicity and peace.
Mana's line was true, however. If he had no other reason for fighting, perhaps he could help her with her goal, whatever it may be. That was an interesting question, and he posed it to her as Kai struggled with her question. "Your goal? To be the best swordswoman in all of Elibe, right? That seems like the kind of dream that would take a lifetime to accomplish." He mused over the idea, a lifetime of adventure.
"Well, I suppose I can tag along with it. Who knows? Maybe I'll find a new reason to fight out there somewhere."

Mana laughed and shrugged when Wyatt stated her goal would need a lifetime, maybe she wouldn't even achieve it in the end. But that why it was worthy for a goal, that it might be close to impossible. Now she realized that her dream was more interesting than she had thought. "Then you will be my assistant forever. Not too bad, I think. I won't pay you, however." Mana was an active person, she couldn't sit idle in one place for long. Her nomadic nature as Sacaen might influence why she had an adventuring persona, and the fact that her tribe was no longer exist had released her from the only thing that managed to bound her. "And now that I think about it...I lost my chance to be the best when the dragon attacked the arena..." she said confidently. She didn't underestimate the other contestants by saying she would have won, this girl just believed she had chance to win the tournament and trusted her ability to make it happen. "For now...Why don't you try set a goal to beat me first? In sword fight, of course. I am still leading the score, right? And no, you can't use your axe, especially that scary Magma Axe. That will be too dangerous for both of us unless we have a healer around," she said, chuckling. Wyatt using the magical axe might be an interesting challenge but it was too dangerous, too serious and too deadly. The maiden also didn't like the heat, actually.
Mana teasingly stared at Kai as the man gulped water quickly, she wouldn't stop until he answered her question. The man threw the bottle away, probably hitting someone, and took a deep breath as she blushed. "Seriously, don't ask nonsense question like that? I mean...we are only friend..." She grinned. "Hey, what's with that grin? I am serious!" Kai averted his eyes from Mana's girly stare and looked at Wyatt pleading for a back-up. His feeling for the brown-haired woman could be seen clearly like looking through a glass, he never hid it well enough that all people in his tribe knew about his feeling. "Uuuh...Hey, what is a Magma Axe? I heard you said something like that. An axe made from magma or what?" he asked Wyatt, pleading with his eyes to the blacksmith. He wanted to change the subject and hoped Wyatt would nicely offer some assistance.
"Hey! Don't avoid my question!" Mana protested.

With a shrug he wordlessly followed the girl as she talked about food and sacaen stuff which was interesting and everything, but he didn't really have the enthusiasm he usually possessed about such things. He was interested in Sacaen cuisine, but this wasn't really the time to be pursuing such a thing nor was he really in such a mood. It all sort of just rolled off his back like water off a duck's, to such an extreme that once she had finished speaking he was even entirely sure what she said. Or if she said anything at all, no, of course she did. He heard her mouthhole make sound noises, he just wasn't really paying attention. Sorry lady. They finally reached their destination, which wasn't particularly pretentious or extravagant in the mage's book. It was just a tent with some dude standing in front of it. Well sure the design of the tent and size were notable in comparison with the others, it just didn't really fit the Mage's mental picture of a place you hid the goodies. He thought it would be crazy like with tigers guarding the entrance, and pillars of flame erupting from the columns of which it was designed, and maybe fireworks or something. Then again, that was kind of silly. This was probably better, not everything could or should look like it popped out of some kind of sugar fueled child's dream. Right now he didn't think he could handle all that anyways.
He finally spoke up after a lengthy silence, craning his neck around to look at things. "Artifacts and important things? Well well, color me interested." The color of interest, incidentally, is red. Sure he wasn't exactly at the top of his game today, but you can't just dangle goodies like this in front of a mage with them getting SOMEWHAT interested. They'd revoke his mage card, and cancel his subscription to magi monthly.
"Oooh." He slunk away and began to look at the assortment of cool, interesting, weird, and shiny objects. From Swords to poles to some smoke thing to weird looking tools to some horseshoes to what looked like a wiggly metal thingy to some more weapons and then more interesting weird things he couldn't quite completely grasp as to what they are. It was like some kind of cuhrayzee bazaar of the bizarre. Heh. Bizarre bazaar. It's funny because the words sound the same. "Shiny." He poked some shiny metal thingy with a certain childlike wonderment. He'd like to research some of things at depth, had he the time or mental capacity or patience. While most of them were clearly ordinary, there something interesting about certain other things. These were Sacaens, they for the most part lacked magic in the same sense the rest of the world had, of course there were some tribes that practiced it, many did not. So the magical artifacts held in this tent held the most interest to him. They were unlikely to be mundane things that you could find elsewhere, a candle of eternal burning? Bah, castles buy them by the cartful. A lot of the really good stuff's gone forever, and only very very old, and mostly ruined, books even have records of them. Things like scrying, and warding. Going back back back for hundreds of years. It was like there was just a sudden blah and magic just poofed into whatever piddly junk they can do now. Of course none of this stuff was of any interest to Terra, or Mana or Wyatt for that manner. Man, it sucked not knowing any other mages. Too bad Valorian went and vanished into the ether.
"Uhh, Red hilt... golden scabbard... got it." He muttered to the sacaen that so graciously let him in. Oh yeah, that's right, he was supposed to help her. He snapped his attention away from a certain doohickey and looked at her. "What was it you needed to do again? And how can I help?"

Wyatt laughed a bit at Mana. "In a sword fight? You've been playing with swords since you could walk, I just started. Besides, wouldn't a true warrior want to fight their opponent at their best?" he asked with a confident grin. "It's a deal, you don't use... that sword..." he said, avoiding naming the blade. He wasn't sure the kind of reaction it would cause if she was known to have it. "...and I won't use that axe."
He turned to Kai when the latter asked about his axe. Wyatt grinned, walking back to where he'd dropped his pack and picking the large, stone axe off of the ground. "Well, I can't do a real demonstration here. Too dangerous, but this should do." He gripped the handle tightly, and small red lines began to crack and glow through the axe. It was as if there was fire running through the stone like blood through a person, veins glowing red as the heat coming off the weapon was palpable. "This is my Magma Axe. One of a kind, and pretty dangerous too. It is a rare day when I have to use something this powerful." he announced, letting the magic fade.
"Also, Mana hates the heat. And I wouldn't want to upset her delicate skin." Wyatt teased. If Mana could tease Kai, then Wyatt would make sure she got as good as she gave. All in good fun, of course.

"Well, you can start with looking for that sword, it should be...eer...with the other swords probably. Look at the right corner, you will find it. And after this, You can help me preparing the festival. Just some easy tasks like checking on the musicians, helping the preparation for the bonfire, and maybe forcing my lazy father to work. Really...How could someone like him become a chief in the first place?" If Elias turned right and looked at the corner he would find many swords, spears, bows, and even some magic tomes. They were well placed in wooden boxes or wooden tables. Terra looked busy picking some things from a box. She was looking for a few important items for tonight event which she actually didn't even remember the name. "Oh, by the way...You could take a look at our collection of magic tomes near the swords, just please tell me first if you decide to borrow one or my uncle, our head shaman, will fry you, I am not joking." Terra didn't look at him when she spoke so Elias might fail to notice that she was really serious about her uncle. After she looked busy and slaved Elias to help her search some items for a few minutes, Terra finally looked satisfied. She said, "Alright, we only have hundreds tasks left before nightfall. Hundreds aren't too much, no? You've promised to help me anyway!" There was something Elias would learn after this. He should never offer to help this girl again, she tended to overwork her helper. --------------------------- Wyatt would see an apple thrown to him by the embarassed girl. Mana was clearly unprepared for that teasing from Wyatt. She would probably have shrugged and laughed if it was another person who said that, but it was Wyatt. For some reason she had become sensitive to his words, especially those that hinted or had romantic meaning. Well, he might mean nothing but still.....By the way, Kai thought for another strike when Mana was being teased by the blacksmith. "Yeah, we should be careful not to hurt the princess. By the way, your prince is probably pretty close Mana. Look behind you! That guy with yellow bandana was looking at you with those "hungry" eyes." Slightly turning back to look behind her, the swordswoman found that someone really was staring at her. He even winked and smiled when their eyes met. Of course, Mana bashfully avoided his gaze and focused on her food, feeling weird. Their meal continued peacefully and filled with joking and having small talk. ====Timeskip to the night====
After the night fell, the Sacaens had returned to their own tent to prepare for tonight. Some stayed outside to prepare the main event as the riders keeps patrolling around the camp, they never knew when bandits or other dangers would come to attack, and the chief wouldn't risk the festival get disturbed by unwanted guest. Kai was one of the riders who went patrolling, of course after handing Wyatt two set of clothes for Elias and the blacksmith himself. It was pretty quiet now when most people had already returned to their tents, cleaning themselves and selecting nice clothes to wear. Wyatt and Elias had been guided into a tent so they coud prepare and make sure they would look fresh and good-looking. Their tent had almost everything they needed, the Sacaens really took a good care for the guests, after all. Inside they would find two simple leather carpet to lie down if they needed short rest, at the corner was a table with some local snacks and a tea pot, and they would be able to clean themselves if they wanted to because the Sacaens had prepared a big bucket of clean water and a few towels. There were many other things they could find inside the tent if they looked carefully. They could also choose to join the men in the river not far from the camp, the women had finished bathing a hour ago and it was the men's turn to use the river. Of course Mana wasn't with them, she was taken to Terra's tent to change clothes and also to meet Terra's father.
