Wyatt was glad to see Mana relax, even if it was only slightly. "We've had an exciting life lately. I guess we're both still a little jumpy. Still, I wouldn't mind life like this. I used to hate village life when I had it, but after spending so much time moving about, having a place to call home is something I kind of miss. So for tonight, let's just enjoy being village kids. Even if it's only for tonight, let's make it worthwhile!" He took the clay mug from her, toasting it against hers lightly before taking a drink. It wasn't nearly as strong as the drink before, so it slid down much easier.
Wyatt's eyes were drawn to the hug bonfire, as the shadows and flames played across his face. This festival was sure something. They certainly knew how to throw a party. When Mana made her suggestion, Wyatt nearly lost his composure while he was drinking. "Ah..hah... I'm not really much of a dancer. Injured leg, and all that," he said by way of an excuse. He looked around quickly, finding one game to change the topic. An archery stand, how fun! He'd seen these when he was younger, but he'd never really trained to use a bow. He'd never seen Mana use one either, but that didn't mean she didn't know how.
"Fancy to live up to your name, Ms. Hawkeye?" he asked her, gesturing towards the targets that had been set up.

OoC: Sorry for the long wait
The alcohol started to show its effect. Mana suddenly felt hot and she even lost her mind for a moment but somehow managed to stay awake. Shaking her head and rubbing her forehead, the girl dropped the cup on the nearby table. "Riiight...Forgot about that..." The Sacaen girl felt bad when the blacksmith reminded her about his legs. Well, maybe he was right, maybe dancing would be too much for his injured legs. This also made her question herself whether those legs could be completely healed someday. "What a pity, though. I really want to dance with you..."
Mana rolled her eyes and grumbled when the red head challenged her to do archery. Why...? Why from all those games he chose THAT one? The one she was worst at. Sure, she was an Hawkeye, but it didn't mean she was a good archer. In fact, she had missed her very first shoot and the arrow almost hit her tribe's elder. "Why my forefather named the tribe 'Hawkeye' anyway?" she thought. Of course she could just refuse this time, which actually what she was going to do. But then the swordmaster reconsidered. Doing it one or two times wouldn't hurt anybody, right? Maybe she should try again after so long, although her level was only on par with amateurs, probably even worse.
"Let me show you how an Hawkeye do it!" she boasted. Mana ran to the stand where she then received a bow and a quiver from someone who had just finished. For some unknown reason people watched her as she readied her bow, making her nervous just like her match in Bern arena. Despite her best effort, her shoulders were still stiff and her posture was slightly wrong, the spectators might also notice her hand trembling a little. After taking a deep breath, she took aim at a target in front of her which was more or less 10 meters away from the stand. "You owe me one wish if I hit the center, Wyatt!" she said as she released the first arrow.
"Yeah! See that! I hit it! I hit it! Right on the center!" Mana looked happy when the arrow hit the target, especially because she got the highest point by hitting the center. Unfortunately, she DID hit a target, but it wasn't HER target. Actually, there were several targets lined up and the players were supposed to only aim at the target in front of them. But Mana's arrow somehow had gone toward a wrong target, the one next to hers, then hit it right on the center by some strange luck. The stand owner couldn't hold his laughter anymore, he even commented, "That's the best shot today!"

Wyatt studied Mana's reaction for a moment before speaking. "Hey now, no reason to look so glum! These old legs of mine still have some fire in 'em! Just not enough to be running around with all the crap I used to carry or keeping up with you when you decide to go sprinting," he said with a laugh. "The injury is still fresh, is all. I'm sure it'll heal up in time."
He remained quiet as Mana lined up a shot. He knew how important concentration was to doing something like this. Wyatt was no fool, he saw the shaking of her hand. Was she... nervous? From what he'd heard, the Sacaens were natural born hunters. Did Mana not know how to use a bow?
He was stunned for a moment as she made her declaration and loosed her shot. The arrow sailed through the air at quite an angle, before striking a bullseye. Wyatt had to laugh at the scene. "Right on the center, just like you said! Hah, guess I owe you that one wish of yours, but first..." He stepped up and picked up one of the bows that had been set down. He'd never fired one before in his life, but he remembered seeing Wein shoot it a long time ago. It didn't seem so difficult, just point and release, right?
He held the bow in his left hand, setting an arrow against the string and pulling back. Before he could release it, the man behind the stand spoke up. "Hey now, don't limp wrist it! Those bows are strong, pull all the way back. Don't worry, you won't break it." Wyatt looked to the man, who spoke again. "Eyes forward! Your hands follow your eyes, don't get distracted on the range!"
Wyatt jerked his head back to the target. It made sense, he supposed. This was a real arrow, that was very capable of hurting someone. Pulling back a few more inches, Wyatt eyed the bow suspiciously as the wood bent and curved. Still, the bow held its end of the bargain, and Wyatt released the arrow.
The arrow flew straight through the air, a loud thunk greeting Wyatt's ears. The arrow had struck his own target, on the very edge. It's impact had been so close to the edge that the arrowhead had actually chipped off a sliver of the target.
"Well, I hit it at least. That's better than I thought I was going to do!" he said to Mana with a laugh.

Elias watched as Wyatt left the tent to chase down Mana, as per his suggestion, it was a bit silly. He wasn't planning on chasing them down, after a day away from everyone he was ready for a night away from everyone. He wanted to make sure when he left that things would be going well between the two, and that meant letting them have this time alone. It was kinda lonely for Elias, but he wasn't that bothered by it, he took solace in the company of strangers mostly anyways. Speaking of which, just because he wasn't going to be accompanying the duo that didn't mean he should stay in the whole time right? He helped set up parts of this festival, so he might as well see how it turned out. He was wearing a traditionally Sacaen garb (it was red as he would have never dared to don it otherwise) and it felt weird. It was so... Well it wasn't what he was used to. It wasn't that fabulous, he could probably stand to have a scarf or something, and he left his hat with his other clothes. It was loose fitting for easy movements and comfort, unlike his outfit that was tailor made for him. It felt like he was wearing someone who was larger than him's shirt, it sort of billowed as he moved, but it was good enough for now. It wasn't unpleasant, and the fabric was thinner than he was used to, so the breeze felt nice. He wore his white gloves given to him by Mana, as he had mentioned before, they were is 'fancy gloves' and if this festival wasn't a cause for them he didn't know what was. They lacked the usual flame retardant material is normal gloves were made of, so he probably shouldn't be slinging fire spells around. Speaking of spells, he picked up his staff and carried it in hand. He trusted these people well enough, but he wasn't just gonna leave this staff laying around. That was a perfect way to lose it. That would awkward. Poking his head from the tent, he looked out for Mana and Wyatt. He didn't hear them anymore, he resisted leaving when he heard Mana's apology. He just wanted come out and tell her it's alright and whatever, instead he stayed inside like some stuffy boring person until he was thought they were gone. His head darted around, taking in the sights as he emerged from his hidey hole. The night was alive with sounds, and lights, and all that such stuff. He's seen bigger festivals, livelier too, but there was something special about this. It's smaller size made it... comfier. It made it feel more intimate, unique. There was a certain sort of camaraderie that he wasn't used to seeing, it was less like a festival by strangers for strangers, but more like a family reunion. But bigger. Sacaen tribes were basically families after all, this was like a big get together of long time friends, which made it sort of special. Of course it was kind of weird for an outsider like him to be here, but he didn't really think about that. He was by himself, but he didn't feel that lonely. There was a familiar energy in the area, even if he didn't really fit in, he sort of felt like he did. Like he was surrounded by friends, it was a warm fuzzy sort of feeling. So he walked around with a sort of half smile, looking around and using his staff as a walking stick, a few people looked at him but none paid too much mind. Or if they did Elias didn't notice. He passed some people playing some games, traditional Sacaen ones to be sure. He didn't know much about traditional Sacaen... well anything honestly. He wasn't really interested in cultures, but if he was he's probably be interested in Etrurian. Sacae would be a close third, second being Nabata. If they had one. It was supposed to be deserted but there is apparently a lot more people living there then he thought. Also dragons. Well if dragons actually lived there. He believed they did personally, but he was a lot more well versed in legends of the scouring then the average person. Hero worship and all that. There used to be a point here. He sat at the campfire, looking at the food. It was mainly meat dishes, like Venison and foraged fruits. Not a whole lot of vegatables, which made sense seeing as Sacaen's travel a lot and don't really have time to settle down and set up farmlands. Not to say it was completely absent, after all it was a festival, but it was clear that Sacaen cuisine was biased towards game. He got a little bit of everything though, he wanted to try it all, and he wasn't sure if he'd have another opportunity. Just a little bit, but all together he still had quite a full plate.

Mana gave Wyatt a strong tap on his back. "Nice one, however...it can't beat my shot," she said. Her first perfect shot was actually a pure luck, Mana hadn't practiced with bow since a long time ago. However, the girl gained some confidence after that successful shot so she was itching for the next one. She stepped up next to him and raised her bow, taking a few seconds to aim and releasing the arrow. Unfortunately, the arrow didn't even reach the target. It dived and hit the grass two feet away before the target. "Eeeh... Must be the wind..." she grumbled, feeling a little embarrassed. "Actually, you didn't even sense the range when you shot..." the stand owner whispered to himself, chuckling. "Hey, isn't that Elias? The red guy?" she said to Wyatt. Mana coincidentally spotted the eccentric mage sitting with a full plate. He was near the bonfire but in the opposite side of the archery ground where Mana and Wyatt was playing in. Seriously...he should have looked for them, not food hunting. But she couldn't blame him for that, those foods were quite tasty. "I am sure it's him. Who else we will wear red from head to toe...." she remarked, giggling. Well, Elias fanaticism could be quite endearing sometimes. The Sacaen girl couldn't stop imagining what he would have done if this tribe only had green outfit for him. "Lets go to Eli!" she said as she unconsciously grabbed Wyatt's hand. Great she didn't have to make excuse for that failed shot. Maybe it was the liquor, Mana somehow felt less shy holding hands with him. The agile Sacaen sneaked behind the glutton crimson mage, she then brought up her hands to cover his eyes. A little prank wouldn't hurt, right? "Gotcha! Now you are under arrest!" she said, chuckling.

Wyatt watched Mana's arrow sail majestically through the air, but it fell off too quickly. Still, Wyatt said nothing.
Which seemed to be to his advantage, as Mana wanted to go find Elias. When she tippietoed up to prank Elias, Wyatt decided that some food sounded like a good idea. Finding good food had been difficult lately. They'd been in a war torn city, and then roaming on the plains. Elias was a very good cook, and worked wonders with what they'd had, but he'd been damned by a lack of good ingredients. Wyatt wondered what the Crimson Mage could have done with the kind of resources they had here.
Wyatt was not a picky eater. He grabbed a wicker bowl for the food he couldn't carry in his hands, trying a bit of everything he could find. The scents were enough to make his mouth water. This would be the best meal since he'd gone to visit Clair, and that meal wasn't even anything to sing about. He managed to snag another two stone cups of ale as he went back towards Mana and Elias. He sat down on the other side of Mana, placing the bowl of assorted foods and a single cup of ale on the grass. "Evening, Elias. Having fun out here?" he asked, gesturing to the food when Mana turned her attention to him.

Hrm, hearty. The venison of this dish was slowly roasted, he could taste it, not exactly able to pick out the seasonings used however. There was the ever present and somewhat ubiquitous presence of coriander, an herb that grows here in the plains of Sacae. It went well with the taste of the venison, but in general the dish was very no-nonsense. None of the frills or delicateness you might find in Etrurian cuisine, which Santuraz tirelessly tries to imitate. It was a very down to earth type of food, befitting the ones that cook such dishes. It didn't dally around with spices and garnishes, and let the meat speak for itself. It wasn't the most delicious it could be, but there was definitely a sort of beauty in the simplicity of it. The biggest difference was the quality of the ingredients, it definitely beat what he could whip up with what they could just scavenge up on the plains. He always did his best, but he had a long way to go.
Cooking started like everything Elias did, another way to boast about himself over something he knew nothing about. The crimson chef, or something, he didn't remember what he called himself. The difference was that he actually had a bit of practice in it before hand. His parents were always so involved in their research, he had to cook for himself most of the time, and eventually he cooked for them as well. In many ways he was more like an apprentice then a son, something that sort of bummed him out for the longest time, but nowadays he's gotten over it. Regardless it taught him the basics, and once he began traveling he's started to pick up recipes and never missed an opportunity to get better.
Unlike many of the other "Crimson" professions he's gathered over the years, crimson courier, crimson spy, crimson secret agent, crimson statue, crimson... whatever. Only cooking and tailoring really stuck with him, coincidentally they were the only two activities that he had practice with before hand. Mending clothes and cooking meals, his clothes were something he made for himself before leaving home. He's kept them mended and stitched together since, a lot of mending mind you, he had a habit of getting into trouble. A bunch of red fabric, since red was the best color mind you, he wanted to be known for his outfit. Crimson mage, or so he called himself countless times, it was only recently that he's really thought on it.
Why did he want to be the 'crimson mage' anyways? Was it a misplaced cry for attention? Or was he infatuated with the concept of being a hero like those in the stories? A figure to read about for years to come? People would tell stories of the crimson mage to their children, inspiring the young to pick up magical tomes and try to emulate such a figure. That was the problem though, he focused on the "Being a hero" and never put much stock into what made heroes heroes. They didn't do it to become famous, and if they did they weren't very good heroes. It wasn't until after Wyatt started trying to promote his 'legend' that it all became so... fake to him. It felt like his entire life was sort of fake. Like he was just a child pretending to be an adult, treating the world as his playground.
He wasn't sure where he would go from here, but he was confident in himself. Even if at first his reasons were steeped in ego and selfishness, he's long since drifted from such things. He didn't even know if he wanted to be the 'crimson mage' any longer, but it wouldn't stop him from helping people. Blowing up bandits, mending booboos, all that good stuff. He enjoyed it, he enjoyed seeing people happy. Still it just felt like he wasted so much of his life chasing such a shallow dream.
He let out a sigh, snagging another piece of food with these Sacaen eating sticks. It was like a pair of wooden sticks that you had to catch food in between, instead of spearing it with metal tools like in Etruria. Took a bit getting used to, but after he got the hang of it, it was easy enough. Only that didn't matter much when a crazy woman completely blocked your line of sight out of nowhere.
"Gah- Ah!" He jolted like a bolt of lightning was shot through his entire body. The food he had ready to eat slipping from the sticks and falling to the grassy plains below. Aww... He couldn't see that though, as he was blinded by the light Mana. He almost had a small panic attack before Wyatt came around and spoke up, which put him a bit at ease, since it meant he WASN'T about to be murdered. Or at least if he was, it would be a surprise.
"Oh geez." He took a deep breath. "I concede to you Mana, you are a far better spy then I. You are now the Crimson Spy. Or whatever color you prefer. Crimson is best though. Whatever you want though. Just red is best color." He quickly regained his usual Elias demeanor with a grin as Mana held her hands over his eyes. "What brings you two over here? I thought you were enjoying the festival?"

"What brings you two over here? I thought you were enjoying the festival?"
Mana then realized that Elias might be trying to give her and Wyatt some time together. What a nice friend! The Sacaen even blushed a bit when he spoke. However, she was also reminded how he had made her embarrassed by stating her reason for dressing nice. Smirking, she removed her hands from his eyes. But instead of giving the mage some space, she then put her arms around his neck, something similar to a sleeper hold. Of course she didn't apply much force while she strangled him, Mana simply wanted to give him a little payback. "Green spy...because green is better than red..." she said teasingly. Well, she actually didn't think green better than red but decided to tease him a little by challenging his favorite color.
"Geez...going for the food already, Wyatt?" Mana looked kinda disappointed. She was planning to invite both men to try some other games or challenges but these guys seemed to get attracted by Sacaen cuisine. "Oh well, I guess we should fill our stomach first..." she said, still strangling the Crimson Mage. Of course she would like to continue her "date" with Wyatt but the swordswoman felt less awkward with Elias around. His funny demeanor and eccentric behavior often made her forget about her shyness toward her newfound affection for the blacksmith.
"Elias seems to get used with the chopsticks already. People who never used it usually needs more time," she commented, a little amazed. Well, using it wasn't a must, but Sacaens used it to eat sometimes. "Now when I think about it...it has been a while since we had decent meal. The last stew we ate was great but we didn't have enough ingredients," she said, sighing. Without Elias, she and Wyatt could have survived and probably cook something edible but the crimson mage had made everything better with his "secret crimson recipes".

Wyatt chuckled, before biting off a piece of meat with little care for tact and grace. While Elias was trying to eat with some form of decorum, Wyatt didn't have the patience for that.
Many of the Sacaens were doing likewise, anyway. "Who says we aren't, Elias? There's no need to run around like a chicken without a head. Besides, just sitting around a fire with some friends and food is a good start to any evening."
Wyatt looked around the spectacle. It was quite a celebration, and he knew he was going to enjoy it. Mana seemed in a better mood now, and Wyatt raised his mug with a laugh. "Cheers, you two! he said, downing the mug. Though he was far larger than Mana, the alcohol started to affect him as well. He was still perfectly fine, but he was feeling a bit looser than when they'd started.
Wyatt picked just then to ask a rather obvious question, to him. "So, Elias, what are your plans after this? I'm gonna guess you have a lot of things in this world you still want to do," he said. He passed a look to Mana quickly, before turning back to the Crimson Mage. "Where will the adventures of the Crimson Mage lead after tonight?"

"Those are fighting words." Elias said, but clearly not serious. Green was awful though. Just terrible. Why did it bother calling itself a color? Green is stupid, and nobody likes it. It should just go away and be replaced with more Red, that's his opinion. He's heard some people see green as red, and he must say, he's envious of such people.
Mana continued to grapple him from behind, holding his head in an awkward position. She obviously wasn't trying to strangle him, he should count himself lucky, no doubt Mana could overcome his futile and weak mage muscles if he wanted to struggle. Instead he just sort of accepted it, there was no point in fighting it. It made it hard to eat though. "I was helping out all day, I didn't get much time to eat." This was actually the first time he ate today. He was so preoccupied before he didn't really even realize he was hungry, which has happened before. A few times. Actually it happens a lot. He gets so wrapped up in something sometimes that he forgets to do anything else, there's been more then one time he's charged into a situation completely unprepared on the pretense of JUSTICE.
"You can only cook rabbit so many times before you just hate the accursed animal altogether." That was the most easy to acquire animal on these plains, none of them were archers and his magic ruined most creatures for consumption, so they had a hard time getting any of the bigger game. So mostly it was just rabbit and whatever herbs he could scrounge up added with some spices he kept with his things. These people had hunters, they had people who knew where certain plants grow to gather, they have people who can go out and buy things from traders, basically they had all the ingredients while all Elias had was his fabulousness, and you can't eat fashion. Well you can, but it doesn't taste very good.
Then Wyatt mentioned where Elias was gonna go after this, and it made him feel a little sink in his chest. Clearly he was not the crimson secret keeper he once thought himself to be. He wasn't very good at hiding his emotions. He turned his head away from Wyatt, feeling a bit ashamed. "It was that obvious?" He asked, sounding disappointed more then anything. He had been distancing himself from them, so when he left it wouldn't be as bad, he never really had problems just up and leaving before because he never had any reason to stay. Now he did, and that made this a lot more difficult then it used to be. So he thought it might be easier if he just...
"Yeah, I'm going back to Lycia. There's been stories about monsters out there. I remember hearing about it in Bern, and I was going to go study them." Huh. That sounded better in his head. Oh well, he shrugged and turned back with a cheesy grin. "There's a lot of questions around them, and I'm interested in the answers. I also plan on heading back to Ostia while I'm in the area, I wanna see the number you did on it with my own eyes. I had a hard time paying attention before what with the trying not to die part." He tapped his chin for a moment, thinking. "I've always been interested in the creatures, remember back when we ran into them in... Etruria? Ostia? I dunno, that one place with the Ruins Manners. Oh yeah, I went back to that place, it still sucks. Not the point. Anyways, we ran into the wolves, and I took their hides only to have it draw monsters to me for whatever reason. I wonder why? That's just one of the things I'm looking to learn."
"What about you? I think you're gonna live, assuming you don't take an axe to the face. Just gonna wander around Sacae with Mana?"

Mana finally decided to release the poor mage, doing it so he wouldn't die from choking food. The world would cry and lament for 100 days if the Crimson Mage were to depart to the crimson heaven. Okay, enough about the crimson things....The Sacaen gave Elias a pat on his back before leaving his side to sit next to Wyatt. There was already a bowl and a cup for her there, from the kind blacksmith. "Well, I guess I can have another cup!" she said, taking her cup. "Cheers!" The maiden mimicked Wyatt as the blacksmith finished his ale very quickly. It made her head spin but for some reason it felt very good.
"Whaaaaat?" That was the first reaction from The Drunk Maiden of The Blade. "But Eli! Y-You are leaving us?" Mana always thought they would be together forever. This was a thing she always hated, to be separated from a dear friend. Of course she realized Elias had right to leave whenever he wanted to, she just never thought about it. Her shoulders sunk as her expression turned into sad, hoping Elias was only joking like usual, but unfortunately for her he was super serious about it. The girl was silent when the crimson-haired mage was explaining his reason. His reason might be personal but his journey would probably benefit many people, researching about that monsters in Ostia might help with the monster infestation in Lycia and some other regions. Her lips made a faint smile when he mentioned that ruin. That place was where he had met the mage for the first time. There was some stories about their adventures in that place which Wyatt might like to hear, but that was more another time.....
"I guess I can't stop you.....But promise we will meet again someday" she muttered weakly, forcing a smile so she wouldn't make Elias feel bad. "And take care of my gloves," she added, laughing.
"To be honest, I am not sure what I....." she said as she glanced at Wyatt. ".....we will do next. Maybe we will stay with Terra, I dunno, or maybe we will go somewhere. I personally hope to stay and rest with this tribe," she continued, twirling her cup. Part of the reason she wanted to stay was to let Wyatt recuperate in this relatively peaceful and comfortable environment. She wasn't sure this tribe had a way to heal an injury that even the famous Crimson Mage himself couldn't heal completely but she wouldn't stop looking for the cure. "I think I just want to....stay in the plain for sometime. After all, the plain is my home. Its grass, sky, and animals are part of me. I guess it wouldn't be too bad to live here again after leaving Sacae for a long time. Of course I might leave again someday but....I dunno," she said, blurting her honest feeling. Mana herself was surprised by this, maybe this girl missed home more than she had thought. "But that's up to Wyatt..."

"Obvious? You were acting so off I thought you had a fever. There's nothing wrong about having your own goals in life. Yours are gonna lead you off to some magical mystery or whatever, that's just who you are. I don't think I'll ever go back to Ostia. I didn't see the damage done either, but I'm not sure I really want to. Maybe I'll just live out my life doing the whole blacksmith thing. Not a bad life, and one I'm well suited for."
Mana's response to the question, however, was a bit more blunt. Wyatt chuckled, thinking to himself that the young girl had perhaps had too much to drink already. "Hey, don't mind me. I started out following you because of your sword, but I gotta say the company has been the real treat. Besides, I still owe you a match." Wyatt paused, looking around them at the festival. "I'd always thought I'd go back to Lycia, or maybe to Bern to settle down. But ya know, I think I've grown kind of attached to the plains. A sea of green going on forever under and endless ocean of stars. The people are so welcoming and simple. There's no deception, no lies, none of that stuff. I could see myself enjoying life out here with some good, honest people."
He looked up at the two of them, and then once again at the festival. "Well then, what do you say we make the most of this last night? Plenty of games and things around here, why don't you show us what you got, Mr. Crimson Mage?" Wyatt said, clapping a powerful hand onto the mage's back.

The two had been drinking, that much was obvious. Personally Elias never touched the stuff, outside of cooking sometimes, it's never really interested him. Mana released her mortal clutch on him, and for that he was grateful because now he could eat without choking to death. A luxury afforded to only the select few when Mana was around, she seemed happy and cheerful like she usually was. Elias and her were kindred spirits, it's why they got along so easily. What point was there in moping around and feeling sad? NONE that's what! Sadness was for lame people, they were too awesome to be sad. Or so he liked to think, it didn't stop him from his own moments of depression. Which were thankfully short lived, and people say a short attention span was a bad thing. Still you can only ignore something for so long.
Mana seemed surprised, surprisingly. He deceived her at least. She didn't want Elias to leave, and part of him didn't want to leave either. It might be easy to say it was 'something he had to do' but it wasn't really. It wasn't something he had to do, nothing was forcing him to research monsters. He didn't have a lifelong quest to learn their secrets, he sort of decided it on the spot. He's been curious about them for a long time, but was so focused on 'fame' and 'success' that he had put it in the back of his mind. He wasn't one to stay in one place anyways, ever since he was a child his father moved them from town to town on his research trips. Never sticking in a place for more than a few months, he got stir crazy really easily. He liked traveling, seeing things and people, blowing up bandits in every nation of Elibe, learning new things, seeing impressive magic, helping people, and adding new recipes for his cookbook. It's never really been a problem before now, since he's never had a reason to stick around. "I wish you guys would come with me." He said with a small grumpy looking frown. "I know you can't though." Wyatt in particular, he needed rest and relaxation. Elias was primed to get into some pretty gnarly stuff, and Wyatt didn't need that sort of stress. Elias didn't want him to get hurt, and the guy was so stubborn and headstrong that'd he'd just run into danger anyways. Something Elias would usually be all for, because that was the funnest way to do things, but in his condition...
"I'll be sure to visit." He assured Mana, pulling on the neck of the gloves he was wearing and the moment to pull them on tighter, grinning. "You can count on that, and I'll definitely take care of these gloves. They were a gift after all, and the Crimson Mage does not allow his gifts to be tarnished. That's something that a lesser mage would do." He threw his head back and let out a big hearty laugh.
Mana seemed to be content to live on the plains with Wyatt, of course, though considering she still blushed and freaked out at the concept Wyatt likes her it seemed kinda sudden. It was the best for the two however, Wyatt clearly liked her and she clearly liked him, it was only natural. Elias was kinda just tagging along anyways. Wyatt was much more understanding, which made sense since he realized Elias was gonna leaving a while ago, and he spoke a bit about how Elias was gonna save the world with magic and how Ostia was lame and he didn't want to go back. Maybe he felt guilty? Elias wasn't sure why he would be, that place was toast and no one lived there. Plus it was totally an accident, but eh, whatever. "Maybe one day we'll see the city restored, like forty years from now once Kraft is blown up. We all know it's coming. You should go then, I'll go with you." Elias offered, though making plans decades in advance might seem like a crazy idea to most people, the Crimson mage said it without hesitation.
He said he'd live his life being a blacksmith, but Elias didn't believe that for a second. Sure he'd be a blacksmith forever, no five ever, but from what Elias knew about the smith, it was impossible for him to live a quiet life. If he could he would have gotten toasted by that dragon, or blown up Ostia, and he was sure he'd see him again doing some other dangerous and reckless thing. It was how Wyatt was, and Elias liked that. He thought it was fun, he wasn't going to be the one to say 'no don't go save those kittens' since nine times out of ten Elias had already ran ahead to do it himself.
He offered to have a final night of fun, and Elias had to admit, it sounded better then sitting here feeling sorry for his self. Sorry self, you'll have to be happy. Deal with it. He didn't want to intrude on their... whatever this is, but with the way Mana basically up and offered to live together with Wyatt, it was clear that they'll have plenty of chance to awkwardly flirt in the future. "Remember, you offered." Elias said with a smirk.

OoC: Timeskip!
Time seemed to fly faster when you were having fun. Laughter, dance, and delicious food filled the night with joy as everyone relished every attractions in this festival. People competed with each other in those relaxing games or took their time filling their plates with the variety of foods the cooks provided, although they seemed to never have enough. The time for the main event in this festival approached as the clouds that hid the beautiful moon started to disperse.
At midnight, almost everyone gathered in the center of the encampment, around a big altar made of wood and painted with some symbols and pictures. Everyone except those who too drunk or sick to attend and the children who was past their bedtime. Although they still occasionally laughed and chatted, it wasn't as loud as a few hours ago. People looked at the altar with expectation. The main event probably wouldn't be as fun as the games or the free meals but it definitely was the most important for these people.
Among the crowds, Mana was waiting nervously. She was given an important role in this ceremony as a representative of Hawkeye tribe. This role was usually given to the child of the tribe chief but sometimes another youngster would have the honor to take the spot in rare occasion. The sword maiden herself had actually expected it since her little group had arrived in this encampment. Being (probably) the last member of her tribe, she would have no choice but to take this role. She glanced at the two men beside her, Elias and Wyatt. Having them in her side gave the girl some courage and self-confidence, she would probably need the mental support to accomplish her role. Having the public attention on her was something she still hadn't gotten used to. Sure, Mana had fought in front of thousands people in that Bern tournament but she had done it with much shaking or losing concentration, and that time she also had the thrill of battle which she wouldn't get in this ceremony.
"Hey...." she called to her friends, glancing at the Crimson Mage and the Volcano. "Elias, Wyatt, you are always good dealing with....public attention. How you do that? Seriously, I am afraid I am going to embarrass myself there..." she pleaded for Elias' help. "Do you think another glass of ale would help?"

It was a jolly good time, and one that wiped away any trace of melancholy that remained! They laughed, they ate, they danced, well Wyatt sort of shuffled but it looked like he was having fun anyways, they played games, they bought things. Elias got himself a set of Sacaen clothing, at Mana's behest, it was similar to the garb he was already wearing. Also it was red, of course, despite the sacaen swordmaster's best attempts to switch it out with green when he wasn't looking. His stomach hurt a bit as he had pushed himself to eat more than he usually did, he ate a lot usually to begin with. Still it was a happy hurt, one of FRIENDSHIP. Time passed, as it's known to do, and eventually their fun and games were over. Literally and figuratively. It was approaching that one time in the middle of the night, it had a name but it escaped the mage.
It appeared that they had been readying some sort of festival, he said some sort to feign ignorance because he knew exactly what sort of festival it was, since he helped set it up. It was more fun to pretend his didn't know though, hush hush, no spoiling Elias. Mana glanced nervously at Elias, and he flashed her his biggest smile. Mana was like one of those one things that have a name but he can't remember it right now, basically they were super cool and awesome but when people looked at them they were all shy and timid, which was silly. Mana you're being silly. It was a type of flower, or maybe he was making it up. Well if it didn't exist it probably should. He'd name it the shrinking Mana.
She asked for some advice on how to deal with 'public attention' and Elias simply puffed out his chest and put his hands on his hips triumphantly. "Do not fret Mana, you are an awesome and cool person. In fact if you wore red, you might even be cooler then me. They'll love you. If they don't? Well they're lame and you don't want them to like you anyways." Honestly the way Elias dealt with public attention was to try and grab as much of it as possible, and ignore the negative. Or at least it had been. Shouting, posing, trying to get all of the attentions, he was over that now. He was focused on before, it didn't mean much to him, because he was putting on a show and if they didn't like it well that just meant they didn't like the show. They didn't hate him as a person, because that wasn't who he was as a person. It was almost like a big showy flashy rock he hid behind. He couldn't up and tell Mana to fake it until you make it though, so instead he had to tell her to just be awesome. Mana was cool, unlike Elias, she didn't have to pretend.
"I wouldn't drink anymore though. Once you get so drunk the possibility for success just explodes. This is important right? You don't wanna make it lame by stumbling around and doing that drunk person hiccup noise." He added, crossing his arms. Crimson posing set 2, contemplative wizard is a go. He tilted his head lightly, looking at her. Scrunching up his face, as if he was trying to think of something. "If there's something I've learned in my life, it's that not everyone's gonna like you. It's better to not worry so much on those that don't, and instead be happy for those that do. Just be awesome like you already are, and you'll do fine."
