Some would call Augustus Nacht a crazed killer. Some would call him a devious scheming viper. Others might even call him a manic pied piper. Very few actually knew his name.
But with Hargus' return thanks to Nacht's success, it was only a matter of time before his name would be able to match The Bandit King's own. It was quite the annoyance that those fools had blabbed the secret with their loose lips, but alas. It did not matter whether or not Kenshin knew they were preparing and coming for his head. Because in the end, his head would be rolling and that city would be burning. For the time being though, he was off to secure a sea route and recruits for their burgeoning army.
And his first stop was this port town here, Badon. A teeming hive of pirates and other scum of all life's paths. Perfect for starting somewhere with what he needed to get done. A couple of questions later and he was off towards the docks.

"So the sacaeans got Odin", spoke Orland as he walked down the street. Beside him was his old crew minus his favorite archer. Helen, Morgan, Han, and Orland, Barta's Beast were back together and they were ready to break some skulls. Following the latest rumor though the bandit network Orland had heard there was going to be somebody hiring. It was not suppose to be a small mission either, but rather something large scale. It was suppose to be something on the scale of Hargus. Orland could not have passed up this opportunity. He had to be a part of it. He needed to find this "Lady face", he heard of and join up. There was nothing like a good raid.
The quartet walked down the center of town looking at the faces of everybody they passed by. "Green Hair and creppy looking. Great descriptors", spoke Morgan sarcastically.
"Keep it to yourself Morgan", spoke Helen as she stared at the face of another man. "Your winning is not going to do us any good."

"Perhaps it might get you some attention, though." A voice called to them as they walked past an alley between buildings. A green-haired and effeminate faced Druid stood with his arms crossed and leaning against one of the buildings. He chuckled before unfolding his arms and stepping out to look the group over.
"You all seem like you'd be up for some bloodshed and lucrative reward."

Orland turned and took a look at the man that spoke out to them. The first thing that came into his mind was shamans though he did not know why. The man did not dress like a shaman, but he seemed to have the same fill Orland felt on multiple occasions, while dealing with Shamans. Still however there were more pressing matters for the Giant to deal with. "Lady face", spoke Orland out loud. His outburst grabbed the attention of his entire group.
"Well he does fit the description", spoke Han as he chuckled lightly. The rider had thought the same thing, but decided it was best to keep it to himself. Orland on the other hand was fearless and calling someone lady face seemed like a minor offense in his eyes.
"My apologize for our lunk of a partner", spoke Helen. "You must be the one they were talking about."
"Kind of expected someone bigger though", spoke Orland budding into Helen's conversation. Helen gave him the evil eye and the knight sipped his mouth for a moment.
"So where and when", spoke Helen.

Nacht chuckled as well. They were amusing, at any rate.
"The so called City of Heroes in Sacae, a couple of weeks from now."
He hummed in thought. "If you want to earn some extra pay as well, we are currently working toward recruiting more to our number, as well as a number of ship captains and pirates willing to aid us. Resource gathering is also ongoing and I suspect you know how we intend to go about that. So, what do you say to that?"

Finally, Landrik knew his way around for once. He had traveled to Badon quite a few times when he had the job of a sailor a few months back. It was a bit of a pain to get here avoiding the bad roads and following the coast, but here he could definitely find work. It was here that he ran into his former employer that got him the job on the large cargo ship where he met Berg and Fuchs. Again, he was here hoping to pick up a big score.
Asking around was pretty quick to catch on that there was a small army being built to hit some target. A lot of times nobles threw small fortunes into these kinds of things to have them disrupt a competitor or gain them a bit of prestige with merchants or the populace. Either way, it was a great way to leave with heavy pockets. Walking around the docks, the three were distracted by the vessels but remained true to their mission to find "A green-haired babyface with an odd smile who didn't look like he was up to no good". Sailors always rubbed landfolk the wrong way, so Landrik wouldn't let appearances turn him away.
However, he was having difficulty finding this recruiter.

Family, sometimes they could be a pain in your rear end. Oya received a letter from his mother telling him to come back to Bern. It seemed that she and her group of bloodthirsty pirates had entered a agreement with some bandits on the main land. They were going to attack the City of Heroes. Such a momentous task would require a massive land force and even more powerful sea force, though he doubted the saceans had a worthy navy. Still Oya's mother was not completely sure about the success of their mission. In order to increase their odds of victory she called in all of their contacts. That included her son Oya.
"Sorry Willow for dragging you into this, but my mother says it is urgent", spoke Oya.

"No problem, Oya," Willow said happily. It had been a little while since they had left Faresh, and, happily for them, their bond was stronger than ever, as the shining ring on her finger could attest to. Hopefully, Oya's mother would be pleased -- after all she seemed to like Willow the first time they met. Willow assumed that this 'urgent' business most likely wouldn't be the most saintly tasks she'd ever participated in... But Oya had taught her a lot, and to both of them, family was very important.
That's why she was prepared to stick this business out through and through. One hundred percent.
Smiling, Willow tossed her hair behind her as the two walked.
"Who are we looking for, anyway?" she asked.

"The city of heroes", spoke Helen with some trepidation. The maiden was concerned about the difficulty of the task, but the Giant Orland had a completely different idea.
"Now that sounds like a target", spoke the Giant in a loud booming voice. Orland was now excited. He had not been this excited since his family took over that fort in Etrulia. "You can count me in", spoke Orland without discussing the matter with the others.
"Hey Orland you", spoke Morgan before she was cut off by Han.
"Me also", spoke Han. The two females looked at Hun with a bit of surprise. Hun was never one to simply jump into something without much thought. Hun however already knew they would be puzzled and gave a reply. "This is a once in a life time chance", spoke the rider. "If we skip out now out of fear of a few swordmasters then we will regret it for the rest of our lives."
"Yeah think about it", spoke Orland jumping in. "To take down the city of Heroes, or at least be a part of it. There is no better tale to tell your children, or no better place to die." Though Orland's last comment soured the mood the other two came to terms with what Han and the Giant were saying. It was a once in a life time chance. If they passed it by they would be stuck simply listening about it.
"Very well count us in as well", spoke Helen and Morgin.
"Alright", spoke Orland as a smile crossed the giants face. "You hear that Lady face we are in on the operation"!
Orland was soon greeted with with a kick from the back. "Shut up you big idiot. You are not suppose to call your new boss Lady Face", shouted the maiden.

Oleg had separated from Augustus once they arrived to port town, his first visit having been to the local tavern. He sadly had not found any good recruits... But he had found some damn good wine. He had then entered the local streets, watching for any seemingly good recruits... Before noticing Oya. He slowly grew a grin, pushing trough the streets as he reached to the side of Oya...
"Heh. I never thought I'd see you here. You brought your woman along too, I see... Heard what was boiling under the pot, eh?"

"Well we need to meet up with my mother", spoke Oya to Willow. A small smile crossed his face as he just told her she was here. Willow was probably expecting to see her later in the week. "Sorry I did not tell you earlier, but I wanted it to be a ....", spoke Oya. Before he could finish his words a familiar voice came up from behind him. Oya turned around to see Oleg, a face which in truth he had forgotten. His voice however triggered some memory in Oya's brain.
"Wait a minute you are", spoke Oya as he started to search through his memories. It took the young pirate a while, but he finally remembered. "Oleg right", spoke Oya.

Nacht chuckled. "Well, welcome to the fold then. Call me Nacht." He looked down the street a brief moment. "Though if you'll excuse me, I have other people to recruit and a meeting with a woman to get to." That pirate had agreed to talk with him and the Druid had heard all about her calling in all of her contacts and family. Things would prove very fruitful indeed if he could sway her over to help.
With that said, he turned down the street, passing by a group of three mercenaries, quite visible within their line of sight before stopping as he spotted another group to his interest. "Well, well. Who do we have here, Oleg?"

Before Oleg could confirm his name to Oya, he heard Augustus coming. He chuckled, nodding towards him. "Well. We have a long time friend and his woman... If you happen to remember that one night in Mark's town..." Oleg lowered his voice for the Mark's town part. "I'm sure he would be interested in our upcoming ordeal. He also has some pirate contacts, from what I overheard..."

Looking around, Fuchs bumped Landrik's side with his elbow, catching his attention. "Hey, what's up?" The soldier pointed with all five fingers as a knife towards the green-haired man who was currently talking to a group of intimidating folk. That had to be him. "Hmmmm... Landrik, I think that's the guy." he said softly. "Yep, I do so believe that is our man. Let's go." he commanded softly, taking a step towards the group.
As he approached he got a better look, seeing his composure and just something about him that spelled that he was a bit of a weird dude. But when it came to sailors, they were all strange folk. When a break in the conversation presented itself, Landrik introduced himself. "Ah, Ahoy. Are you the man recruiting for sailors and mercenaries? All three of us can do both. My name's Dietrich Landrik, but ye can call me Landrik... my ear picks it up easier." He stepped to the side, allowing Berg and Fuchs to be more clearly seen. Berg was looking intently at the whole group, trying to feel out what kind of people they were. "Ah, hey there. I'm Berg. This here's Fuchs." The thin soldier meekly nodded towards the green-haired man.

In an instant Oya memory clicked in and Oleg came rushing back to him. "Oh its you", spoke Oya. Oya was actually surprise that Oleg recognized him. It had been some time and Oya had cut his hair since then. Without his long locks he figured most of the people that knew him would not recognize him. Before he could deal with Oleg a green haired man walked up and began to speak.
"Green Hair, Red eyes, and a unsettling demeanor, you must be my mother's contact", spoke Oya as he looked at Natch. He was completely sure this was the man. There was no mistaking it. He fit his mother's description too well to be anybody else. "My mother, Nya waits for you at The Ship of the Drowned", spoke Oya.
