Just in time...
"We are wondering the same." Matis said, menacing Fabis' neck with the tip of his sword, but not doing any strenght at all. If he did, Fabis would die instantly.
OoC: This would be a good time for Sain to reappear in the RP. >_>

Kenshin barely got up. "Albel, take me to Bern. We must try to stop Bern from invading after he hears the weak point of Lycia. We'll all be dead, or impressioned with in minutes with that army invadeing."

Matthias casually finished off the final shadow, rising slowly to his feet. Things had definately changed. Not being able to resist, he walked over to the captive Fabis.
"Tough crap, eh?" he pointed out, poking the general with a finger. Straightening up, he glanced over at his companions. "You know, I think our wonderful Lord Sain has decided to take a f**k**g vacation in the middle of a conflict," stated Matthias. "And seeing as we seem as organized as a peasant militia, I think I'll just go take off on my own."

"Kenshin, what should we do in the meantime ? Try and organize Ostia's troops ?"
There was nowhere for him to go, and he felt he'd just be a bother on the way to Bern.

"Good luck on Kenshin, and good luck to you on your journey as well Matthias. Is there any way to convince you to stay?" Fabis tried to get up but the knights held him down. Calis pointed at him. "Take him to the dungeon. Im not done with him until he tells me of Sain."
The knights did as ordered. Fabis struggled as they moved him out of the courtyard. Calis then approached Matis. "I will be taking over Ostia for the time being, until either Sain or a kinsmen is found. You are welcome to stay and help keep track of things."

"Thank you."
"Might I ask, though...how will you reign over both Santaruz and Ostia ? You'll send orders from one another ? If that is so, I can be the messenger. I doubt you'll get someone faster than me."
He didn't like being out of action, and running a lot would help improve his speed and agility even further.

"I cant rule over Santaruz. That's bandit territory...for now. When we find Sain or someone else to rule, I will return to Santaruz with my people and reclaim it...and Antony will get what is coming to him." Calis had a fire in his eye. He could feel the rage going though his body but he had to hold it in for the time being. "For now, just help me run Ostia. The people may not want to hear us since we are not of Ostia blood."
Calis spotted Kenshin starting to leave. "Kenshin, is there anything that you need before you go?"

After listening to all the conversation, Matthias turned to Kenshin.
"You do realize that it's probably not the smartest idea to go straight into Bern territory with two guys, right? You're not going to kill any bandits by charging in like morons," explained the archer, he glanced over at Calis, hoping for some support. As he stood there, an idea began to form. "Guys, we're going to need some more help if we're to accomplish anything, shouldn't we pull the Lycian Alliance together?" he looked from one to the other. He did wonder why he was still trying, he didn't particularly want to get involved anymore. Maybe, just maybe, these three could do something worth mentioning... Though Matthias was beginning to doubt even that much.

The Lords were taking a fair amount of time considering Matthias's comments, so long that the archer began to believe that no one was listening. Sighing, he shook his head. he'd figured as much.
"Calis, I'm going to go looking for Flyssa, seeing as nothing seems to be happening. If you desire my aid in something, send word, I'll be there. If anyone sees Lord Sain, tell him I'm taking leave," Matthias patted the wounded lord on the shoulder. His concerns lay elsewhere for now. Content that things would be as they were, Matthias headed out of Castle Ostia.
OoC: haven't left yet, gonna give a couple days to respond first.

Calis stared into sky like if he was staring into an endless void. He then felt a tap on his shoulder. "What the? Did a fly just bump into me?"
He then saw Matthias leaving. "So Matthias, your just gonna leave without saying anything first? Thats just like you. So where will you be going?"

Matthias stopped moving, wondering if Lord Calis had suddenly lost his hearing...
"I'm not entirely sure where I'll be going, honestly. I think someone needs to hunt down Flyssa before she torches an innocent village or two, and I"m not sure what happened to Rath and some of the others," the archer frowned. "I want to take out the f**k**g bandits badly, I owe them one. But..." He shook his head, and turned to face the lord. "We don't have a real leader, nobody seems to stick around for more than a few days, and our fatality rate seems to be fairly high, all things considered," he explained, shrugging his shoulders. "Oh, one more thing..." "Good luck."

Matthias started walking away from the castle.
No one moved for a while, like waiting for someone to give orders.
"That means one soldier less. One VERY skilled soldier."
"Calis, our first goal should be re-taking Santaruz. If we are fast, we might even have the time to go help Kenshin on Bern."

Alexia burst out of the infirmary, dragging a skilled cleric behind her. She saw Matthias leaving, but decided not to approach him. That look on his face would turn a mortal to stone, and Alexia didn't feel like being staturary right now. Continuing on her way, she followed the noise to the courtyard (that is where all this is happening, right?). Bursting onto the scene, she held up the arm of the cleric. "Knight Alexia here with Cleric Yodel," she cried out, snapping out a salute. It looked like a warzone in the area. Blinking a few times, she stared at the lords. Men, leave them alone for a few minutes, and they throw a coup.

Alexia went off on Calis for having left the infirmary and going to battle with such an injury. Calis had no idea what to say. Alexia didnt exactly seem herself at the moment, saluting and what not. So he decided to get the attention off of himself and give it to the one person who needed it. Calis pointed to his left "Matthias is leaving."

Alexia glanced in the direction the lord pointed. "I know, I saw him leave," she shrugged. "If his mind's made up I'm not going to be able to change it. Didn't last time..." She trailed off, realizing where she was going. Stopping midsentence, she straightened and focused on Calis. "uh... Should I heal him?" the poor cleric asked. "Up to him," Alexia stated. "For all I know, he might prefer to walk around wounded. I don't know what Lords do."
