"Patience Eren. That fortress isn't going anywhere and I'm almost done." The leg actually did look better. It would still be weak and injured, but the bleeding appeared done for now. The blond haired falcoknight gripped her sword hilt as Shugo ranted, a wild anger in his young eyes. So much hatred.... He hadn't had to face the hard choice yet. The choice between two evils. Miranda might be playing her by telling this sob story. Or it might ring true. Shugo didn't care. She'd been of the same opinion once: Anyone who would raid and pillage others deserved to die, she'd thought. A remote part of her wanted to agree with that, and end this charade right now. A single well placed chop would remove the hassle on them, the trouble on the world, and Miranda's head from her shoulders. Clair had put her faith in the law though. Not always the laws of her country, or others, but that the core that everyone deserved to have a fair chance to explain their deeds. That didn't mean they'd be spared punishment, but it did give them the respect that life was due.
In fact, she could feel herself getting mad at Shugo's judging. Im Ilia, thieves and raiders were judged very harshly. A single cheat could cause a town to faulter in their brutal winters. Bandits were universally hated and feared, and the cry for death went up when they were caught, but even then, not everyone could blame them for falling to their choice. Banditry was often all that was left for a foundering family out in the sticks. Take by force, because there isn't anything left to spare for you. It was a desperate action that claimed the heads of those who used it, but many would choose it to watching their families starve in the ice.
"No... NO! Martin and I... We'd never...." Miranda's voice trailed off into sobs. The truth was, they already had.
"Miranda, I'm bringing your brother back to this spot. Don't move on that leg. It will give out. And, your Brother's safety depends on it." Turning her back on the downed woman, Clair scooped up the bow from where it had fallen in the hallway, and followed the other two out.
"Shugo! You can shut your damn trap!" Clair let loose as she came out the door, fingertips beginning to crackle as though she held the the Thunderlance in her hands.
"We're going in there, and we're going to find that brother, and get him out if we can. But if you go in there and kill an unarmed man, that's not a far step over cold blooded murder. Get your head in clearer winds Scaleduster. If you were with me, I would have sent you packing with that little display in there."
Now Clair could feel herself getting whipped into a fury again. She'd trained herself to fight without anger for so long, but now it was starting to feel almost comfortable. She knew that it led to recklessness quick reactions though. Why was she suddenly struggling so much with it. Corona swooped down next to her, and snorted as she pulled herself into the saddle. Damn bandits. Damn Bernese. Damn wyverns! Automatically, her hand moved to the golden colored lance on the harness, but she didn't draw it free. Just touched it for a moment and felt the lightning at her fingertips.

"Seems to me like you've missed a critical aspect or two, Commander. Allow me to help you out so that we increase our odds of success."
Without any sarcasm or contempt in his voice, Eren spoke to Clair. He was eerily calm, it seemed, as he nodded and then turned to the woman from the doorway, still inside the building.
"What does your brother look like? And how do we get in as quickly and quietly as possible? Answer us honestly, and it'll help save the brother you care about so much."
Still standing, Eren clenched his fist as Clair reprimanded his comrade. How dare she? Yes, Shugo was a bit out of line, but... It was not her place to do so. Shugo was his soldier, his ally. And nobody had put her in charge of the operation... This was a job for the sons of Bern, not some Ilian soaring around on a high horse like some sort of damn snooty noble. If she kept this up, he might just have to take Shugo and leave. Damn bandits... Damn Ilians. Damn pegasi.
"Please, just tell us, so that we can get this over with... I'm not very patient, and I'm getting impatient. I won't hurt you, but I will just leave, and then your brother may or may not survive. We're bound to have been seen."

"Cold blooded murder is all their lot ill deserves", spoke Shugo as he whistle for Luna. "Their bandits, brigands, and murderers, spoke Shugo. "Not a single one is innocent and not a single one deserves mercy. You listen to that sob story and now you want to act as if we are dealing with normal people. They are dogs", spoke Shugo in a harsh tone as he jumped up on the back of Luna. "They gave no mercy to the villagers they cut down and they will receive none from my spear. However", spoke Shugo as he looked at Clair. "I will hold back my lance this one. Not for you, not for the woman inside of the tower, but for commander Eren. I won't sully his name by my own actions. Just know that I will not hold back if he has a weapon", spoke Shugo as he gave Luna a kick.
Who in the world did she think she was, thought Shugo as he took to the sky. He could not help, but think back to Valin. Would Valin approve of what he was saying. Valin always talked about being a shield for the weak and a spear for justice. Killing these bandits was exactly what Valin spoke of, was it not. Would Valin agree with what he was saying or scold him like Ms. Clair did. It was hard to tell. However there was on thing Shugo did know that was true. It felt right telling that woman off. The same woman who scorned the knights of Bern and insulted Shugo and everything he stood for. Now she thought of the idea of her losing her family and her suffering like the others she made suffer. That was right. Blood begets blood, she murdered and killed and thus the same should happen to her and her brother. Shugo prayed that her brother held a weapon. If he did not Shugo would simply give him one. Let her taste the pain of loss as everyone else had.

Miranda seemed to come to the conclusion that wasting anymore time on her life's story wasn't going to get her anywhere. As the Bernese Knight addressed her, she was practically fumbling over words to answer.
"His name is Martin. He's a few years older than I am. About twenty-five.... Dark brown hair, and a light beard. And, he's missing an arm. He won't be wearing any armor.... We aren't really fighters.... He was almost done apprenticing when he lost his arm." The injured woman could only look up from the ruins of her life. Pathetic was an understatement.
Clair remained stony silent. If Shugo would restrain himself, then that was all that mattered. She could be flexible with reasons. She didn't like how much of a loose cannon he was though, and was reminded again of all the regimented training and insruction she'd had in her years leading up to leaving on her adventures. There was alot of bandit hate in Ilia. There was alot of customs meant to set bandits and mercenaries, especially Ilia's knights, well apart from each other. Her training had created some unusual customs to form around her.
"Do you wish to take them by storm, or try to approach quietly?" Clair said plainly as Eren rejoined them from the building. She could feel the lightning humming in her golden lance, ready and wanting to be released on those deserving of a swift and terrible fate. She tried to restrain herself from such thoughts, but it was proving difficult. The depravity of the lives these people led was great. It took something from you to steal the work and life of someone and take it for yourself.... Someone like that was definitely worthy of a harsh judgement. A part of her had even wanted to spear Miranda herself, but customs must be observed. Treat the turncoat well all the way up until their judgement is proclaimed.
Beneath her, the massive pegasus shifted his weight and stretched his wings partially skyward, reaching and stretching so as to stay limbered up for flight. He absentmindedly pawed at the dirt, and she rubbed his neck in response. His ears flicked around briefly, listening to the sounds of the trees around them, and Clair looked around herself, double checking their surroundings for signs of others.

"Fine. I'll do my best. No promises, of course... This is Bern. Heh, heh, heh."
The Dragon Knight moved over to Mika, jumping onto her back and readying himself for flight.
"I'd prefer to not have to deal with an overwhelming amount of numbers, so I suppose that a more...Tactical approach would be ideal. However, I don't think we'll be able to avoid all combat, so be ready to strike. Mercy has its place, Commander Feldsky... But so does severity. We are the law. We must uphold our commitments as soldiers and as men and women, regardless of our birthplace."
Lifting off, Eren spoke once more to both the other riders.
"I shall assume the point. Let us move out."

"I guess tactics it is", spoke Shugo as he looked to Eren for direction. He was much happier taking orders from him rather than Clair. The young rider was starting to hold a grudge against the woman, but at the moment he had a job to do. They were going to need to access the situation and determine the best course of action. Shugo also had his own goals in mind during this mission. He wanted to be sure to kill the woman's brother. Bandits deserved no mercy, but he gave his word that he would not kill him if he was unarmed. Closing his eyes Shugo gave a silent prayer and took off toward the location of the bandit den. Hopefully his prayer would come true and the fool of the man did indeed hold a weapon. It would make things easier.
"Alright Luna", spoke Shugo to his mount as he flew through the air. "I am counting on you in this next fight", he spoke to her. Shugo rubbed her head and the Wyvern let out a small cry of pleasure. Shugo was not sure if Luna actual understood him or if he simply liked being rubbed on the head. However he like to think she did and Valin seemed to believe Wyverns understood humans. Valin had not been wrong yet so Shugo once again put his trust in him and flew toward the target.

"Alright. Take lead. And don't misunderstand, Brigadier General. I know how to strike down as well as spare. It's important to me that some of these have a trial though." Stubbornly pushing thoughts not useful to the mission out of her head, Clair kicked Corona airborn. It was more difficult than usual this time though. She was mad. She was frustrated at the bandits, as always, but it was more than that. She didn't understand... "it". Unfortunately, she didn't know what "it" was yet. Not entirely. Foreign customs? Her own? She'd been away from the Ilian way so long that she'd started to question things, and that was a dangerous position for her to be in. She gave a shake of her head as she checked the ground for hidden figures.
She'd have to wait and see what sort of cave the bandits had holed up in. Whether it was large enough for their mounts. Whether it was large enough for her lance. All these questions had to wait until they neared their target. Corona groaned quietly under his breath, and she figured he was annoyed at having to follow a flying lizard's formation. She smiled, or tried to as she rubbed his neck once more, and looked down to the armament hanging from his saddle. What to select?

Flying low, using Mika's color to try and blend in with the trees, Eren moved towards the target cave, keeping a quick, but not unduly reckless pace. Getting near to the location, the Dragon Knight took a few moments to analyze the cave. Ground level entrance... Less heavily guarded, but smaller. He only saw two men standing guard, trying to look inconspicuous. Hah.
The side entrance was larger, maybe large enough to fit the mounts if they tried. But it was guarded well, at least four men... Eren disliked the idea of leaving their mounts, even if they'd have to leave them farther in. It just didn't seem... Natural, he supposed, fighting without Mika. But they needed to be stealthy.
"Okay, here's my plan. If you two have any suggestions, please speak up.
We drop down on that ground entrance, taking the two by surprise and moving in. We'll have to work our way on foot through their cave-stronghold, but judging by the group's organization, it shouldn't be too bad. If we can capture or kill their leader, chances are it will hurt their resolve to the point that we can end the battle without having to mow everyone down."

"Wait does that mean we have to leave our mounts", spoke Shugo with some concern. He did not like the idea of leaving Luna behind. He and Luna fought most of their battles together. "Fighting with Luna would be difficult", spoke Shugo with concern in his voice. "However I can handle it. So don't worry about me. If we have to leave our mounts behind I can fight just as well."
In truth Shugo was a bit worried about fighting without Luna. There were plenty of times Luna saved his but after he made armature mistakes. Without Luna he was all on his own. That meant that Shugo needed to step up the game. Shugo took it as a learning experiences and began to prepare himself mentally for the battle. He was not as strong as the others and as a result he needed to be both fast and precise.

"I'm surprised." Clair said, raising her voice over the winds of flight as they winged along.
"I wouldn't have thought you'd stop at taking their leader after the situation that we just passed through. Change in heart, or are you planning on an executing them after the raid?" Clair studied the reactions of the other two fliers. It was obvious that Shugo didn't like the idea of leaving his mount behind, and she couldn't blame him. When she'd first started, any power that she could have pretended to possess had been derived from the momentum she picked up from Corona's back, and he was even smaller than she'd been at the start. Of course, she'd also just seen him bring someone down pretty quickly. Skill or merit? She wasn't sure quite which it was, but she trusted Eren's judgement that he wouldn't be dead weight for now.
As for her own feelings on the matter, she felt more sorry than anything. Sorry that Corona would likely be left out again. Poor ol boy. The mighty beast was going to get soft if she didn't find a better way to exercise him, and his battle senses would end up getting rusty. That was not tolerable. She'd actually trained extensively on the ground, learning to fight atop Corona, side by side with him, or all on her own. The idea of leaving behind the giant winged horse wasn't overly threatening to her. Not anymore than the usual amount of concern such engagements warranted, at least.
Testing the grip of her weapon, Clair lifted a spear from Corona's harness that she hadn't used in some time. Jagged serrations made to catch and tear before slicing away the flesh ran down the spear head. She hoisted the killer lance briefly before placing it back in its holster and speaking up again.
"I don't think we can draw them away without taking more time to prep for it than I feel comfortable with. I think you wyvern knights are best suited to dealing with these situations between us though. A wyvern is a predator. They'll react quicker to unseen dangers, and could probably bring down those two on their own easily enough." Clair pointed ahead towards the less guarded entrance as she finished. Of course, Corona, being Corona, could easily smush one of the knights into the ground with his size, and while he did that, Clair could be spearing or zapping the other. It was an unnecessary risk though, when they had two fighter teams here that were perfectly suited to the task at hand.

"Bah. I've not had a change of heart, nor do I plan to murder them in cold blood. But I do think that it's wiser to avoid a situation that would clearly be lopsided... I don't plan on dying at the hands of a bunch of ragtag bandits. That's not my idea of sound military strategy. Battles are won with the mind and the will, not just the weapon-arm alone."
Looking over at Shugo and Clair, and then down at Mika, Eren furrowed his brow.
"I'll be honest. I don't like the idea of ground-based combat any more than you two. However, it is necessary in this situation. We simply can't fit our mounts in the cave, and there's no way we could smoke them out. We'll have to take them on from the ground. But, I do have a good idea...
Clair. You fly by the heavily guarded, large entrance, and draw their attention to that 'gate,' so to speak. Shugo and I will airdrop down, kill the guards, and infiltrate the fortress from that point. Once you have them focused on you, simply disappear. I'll have Mika, and hopefully Luna as well, to keep flying around and harassing them. Once you get in, Clair, we'll rendezvous at the entrance and move farther in. In case we need to hide before you get here, the signal for us to come out to meet you will be a three-tone whistle."
Demonstrating the sound, which made a pleasant arpeggio, (OOC: Think C-G-HighC) Eren turned to the others once more.
"From there, it'll be a matter of destroying their morale and killing their leaders. Does that sound acceptable?"

"Good enough for me", spoke Shugo as he directed Luna toward him and Eren drop zone. While he flew Shugo remembered the description of that girls brother. He had not forgotten what he said in the tower. He was going to kill him, but only if he had a weapon. Shugo understood that what he did reflected on Eren. Eren was a good friend and Shugo did not want to make him look bad. Still Shugo did not like the idea of simply letting a bandit go. The end result would always be the same anyway. Banditry was punishable by death, or at least he thought it was. He did remember some people who spend very long time in prison, but he never remembered them as bandits. Most of them were petty robbers and such. The law was still a bit confusing to Shugo, but he knew one thing. Blood begets blood. If you spilled someone else Blood then your blood was spilled in return.
"Alright Luna", spoke Shugo to his mount. "After I drop off I am going to need you to kill the bad men, but don't eat the pegasus." Luna let out a moan, but Shugo figured she understood him. As much as Clair and Eren talked about leaving their mounts behind they seem to forget that Wyverns were predators. Shugo did not know if Luna would go after cliars pegasus after he went inside. Sure Luna did not attack people, well unless they tried to hurt Shugo, but he was not so sure about other animals. Shugo usually lets Luna find her own lunch so he was not completely sure on what she ate, or what she hunted for that matter. All he knew was she returned with a full belly and sometimes with a deer in toe.

"I'll focus on the leader if I get the chance, but I'm satisfied with the two for taking prisoners. The rest have had their chances, and continued down the road that led them here." The bandits in the area had been playing rough, and had drawn the attention of more than a few people apparently, if she and these others were out here looking for them. She pitied Miranda and Martin for their recent choices that had led them to this place, but held out hope that they would leave the life of selfish violence behind. The rest of the ones they ran into here sounded as though they were exactly the sort that some Ilians spent their whole lives hunting and exterminating in the north. At least, from the very small bit of information that Miranda had let spill out in their brief talk. Clair would be happy to put this sort down.
"Alright then. I'll distract the four guard entrance. Don't take long once I start, or you'll lose your chance." She finished finished in a deadpan voice before turning her attention back towards the heavily guarded entrance. There were four guards there. Four guards visible.... She corrected herself. She'd already let herself become distracted once today. She couldn't afford to let that happen again, and making assumptions were not going to help her case at all. She looked over the situation, deciding how best to fix the attention of a bandit gang on herself to the exclusion of all else.
She peeled away, not heading directly for the goal, but instead making some distance from Shugo and Eren while still keeping a low profile. Once she'd made it a good distance, she circled out and around again, and urged Corona skyward, leaning forward as his powerful wings swept downward again, driving the pair up into the sky. Once high enough, she simply headed straight for the entrance. Slowly gliding in towards it. After a few moments, she could see the bandits guarding their entrance had spotted her. One had a big club and another carried a battered looking axe. A third was an archer, and he had taken a particular interest in her as she approached. The fourth was a swordsman. It was obvious from the pointing that they'd spotted her, but for now she was far enough off that they were just watching. They seemed to get a little more fidgety as she kept nearing and kept nearing. It looked like they archer cursed something when it became obvious that she wasn't turning aside, and the others laughed as he scrambled to draw his bow. She was still too far off to be able to understand what it was that was being said, but they clearly thought that the lone pegasus knight attacking them was nothing to be concerned of.
"Corona, get ready. It's time to put those wings to the test again." Corona had been injured badly in the past, and while he'd recovered now thanks to time and special care, she still needed him to be able to perform fully. As much as she loved him, the Falcoknight was constantly checking and testing him to make certain that he wouldn't be a liability in the future. Neither of them could afford that.
She saw the first arrow fly, and ducked down as close as she could to Corona's saddle before rolling to the right. Corona responded by falling into a dive and rolling with her, then pulled out of the dive and arced back upwards again. Clair checked herself and the pegasus for injury quickly as Corona turned towards the goal again, and continued winging through the air. They'd cleared the danger. The falcoknight could look ahead and see the archer looking at her. He was still confident, and still wanted to send a shaft through her or her mount. Yep, he was definitely out to kill her. She pulled the Delphi Shield she carried off her back and fitted it to her arm as they drew closer. Twang! Another arrow loosed from the archer, and another bolt of carrying death sent her way. Leaning forward, Clair hung her arm down between the wing joints and Corona's neck to cover his chest as they swerved to avoid the shot. She let a breath out in relief as the arrow skipped off of the golden sheen of the shield she carried, and then kicked Corona into overdrive for speed. No need for anymore arrows thrown their way. She and her pegasus were both more than ready to begin the party.
Now there was a little bit of alarm as it became clear that the lone pegasus knight that was coming their way was indeed going to make it to them. Axe and Club stepped up in front, with sword behind them, and the Archer still trying to get another arrow drawn in time to skewer her. About then was when Clair pulled her feet up under her and leapt off of Corona's back as he dove for the ground. Over the pegasus, over the swordsman and other bandits, shield readied and spear raised, the black clad falcoknight fell from the sky and landed right on top of the archer with a sickening crunch and a small crack of thunder. She'd driven her spear straight down through his chest and out the other side, where it was left stuck in the ground. Lightning crackled off of the Thunderlance, as she released her grip on it and spun, quickly drawing her sword out to parry the sword strike she'd known would come for her once she landed.
Metal clanged loudly and she suddenly felt a fury coursing through her. This swordsman had the nerve to strike such a puny blow at her in the hopes to change his fate?! She could have sworn she'd taken worse in training! Giving a swift whirl of her blade, she knocked the swordsman's guard aside, and then stepped in to give him a smash in the face with her shield. The man fell back in a heap right as Corona finished stepping stomping on Axe, who he had landed on top of. Club gave a heft swing, only for the pegasus to turn around and catch it on his flanks. A grown of pain, followed by a double kick hard enough to send the man tumbling backwards. In one smooth motion, Clair reached down and picked up the axe the Axe had been carrying and hurled the thing hard towards Club as he struggled to get up. He managed to deflect it with his weapon, but it slowed him down long enough for Clair to move on him.
Behind her, she could hear Corona's angry and aggressive bellowing as he reared up one more time and came down hard on the swordsman, but she was already moving on Club. He gave one big swing, which she easily stepped back to avoid, and led with her sword as she stepped in to finish him off. Richter was right. Speed was life in this game. With a quick counter, she took her sword and ran it through the bigger man's stomach before batting him off with the shield in her other arm. She stuck him one more time to make certain that the job was done, and then turned to survey the carnage one more time. Four men dead because of the choices that they lived by, and her actions.... The fury had been satisfied, and they'd gotten their just desserts, but she still couldn't help but feel disgusted at it all. Right then though, she needed to stay in the fight.
"Hey! The main gate's under attack! Get people up here quick!" It was Clair's own voice yelling into the underground caverns. She walked over and gripped the Thunderlance in her hand. She was puzzled at how it had gotten there. The last thing she'd done with it had been put it back in its harness and take out her killer weapon. She looked to Corona and saw the Killer weapon back in its own holster. It was puzzling, but there was no time to think about it now. It took her a moment to wrench it free from where she'd stabbed it down through the man's chest cavity and into the earth below.
Inside, she could hear yelling starting up and shuffling footsteps as she climbed back aboard Corona and rode him out a short distance away from the opening. In her hand was the golden lance. Mysterious and powerful it may be, but it would serve her well now.

"Here we go", spoke Shugo as he dropped down from Luna's harness. The boy fell like a rock as he descended to the ground. With his spear pointed down Shugo landed on the shoulders of one of the guards. His body weight and force of the fall drove the spear through the man's skull and ended his life in one quick motion. The sudden descent of small child driving a spear through his buddy's skull caught the second man completely off guard. Shocked and frightens he fell to the ground as Shugo removed the spear from the man's body.
"What the $%^&", he shouted, but Shugo did not give him another moment to speak. The boy immediately rushed forward with his spear held out attempting to stab into the man's expose chest. The bandit attempted to kick the young boy back with his leg, but forgot that Shugo's dragon lance was far longer. By the time his foot reached Shugo chest the lance was already two inches into his own. Within a few moments the guardsman was dead and Shugo was pulling his lance out of his chest.
"That went easier than I thought", spoke Shugo as he looked around. He knew from this point on it was only going to get tougher. He had the advantage of surprise on his side this time, but next time he might not be so lucky. Each opponent had both a height and a weight advantage on him. Shugo was going to need to be quick on his toes and sharp with his mind if he wanted to get through this without having his head split open. The only true advantage Shugo had in this situation was his short stature and the quality of his weapon.
Moving along Shugo played back the description of that man in his head. He wanted to keep an eye out for him. Sure he could not just simply kill him outright, but if he had a weapon Shugo could get away with it. In truth thought he did not understand why that woman even cared. He was a criminal, a bandit. When they took him in he was going to be executed anyway. None of the sob stories or excuses could make up for their murder and thievery. They might as well execute them right here. Still Eren had a reputation to keep and he had placed his faith in Shugo. It would be a insult to him if Shugo had done something dishonorable or against orders. "Hope he is carrying a axe", spoke Shugo as he moved forward.

Eren watched in shock as Shugo suddenly dropped off of his wyvern, his lance aimed downwards like a spike as he impaled the first guard vertically. What a daring move. It was effective, sure, but what if he'd missed? That would end terribly. He didn't want to have to pick up the pieces, that was for certain.
Swooping low and leaping from a much safer height, Eren landed behind a bandit who was rushing out from the entrance and sliced into his back with an elegant motion, swiftly paralyzing the man and giving him a mercy decapitation.
"Shugo, let's move! Nicely done there. Now we've got to get to the large entrance to rendezvous... Undetected. Get ready to sneak."
Turning to Mika, Eren gave her an affectionate slap on the muzzle and smiled grimly at his friend and companion.
"Okay, girl. You're going to go find the pegasus. Protect the pegasus. Protect Luna. And don't mess with archers, okay? Cause all the trouble you want, but stay safe. I'll be back. Safe travels, Mika."
As the wyvern shot into the air with a screech and a jerking nod, Eren brought his axe to his side and ducked into the cave, motioning for Shugo to follow. Come. Most of his military gestures were fairly straightforward, so it wouldn't be too hard for the boy to understand him.
Moving immediately behind some boxes, Eren saw a group rushing up one tunnel, and a group going down another. Which way was correct? Up or down?
Analyzing the situation quickly, Eren motioned again. Stay. Moving alone across the open space, Eren slid behind a box as a man ran down from the tunnel leading upwards.
"We've got a pegasus rider out there raising hell, and what looks like two wyverns. What the hell's going on? Better tell the Boss."
The man immediately set off down the lower tunnel. That settled it; the upper tunnel lead to where Clair had been. But where would she enter? If soldiers moved up to the main entrance... The side entrance where they'd entered would be the wise choice. But they'd raise the guard in all the areas, so what they needed to do was clear one entrance for Clair. Quickly eliminating the waves of guards at the small entrance would be easier. Hopefully, Clair would arrive soon, or Eren would have to move down towards the 'Boss.' No way was he letting the man escape.
Running back over to Shugo, Eren dropped down and quickly relayed his ideas, the tension evident in his tone.
"They've seen the distraction. A messenger's going for reinforcements, so we should keep one entrance clear for Clair. If she takes too long, though, we'll have to move in ourselves."
