Since we've discussed the best, how about the worst?

I know! Nils/Ninian. >_>
They may give you an extra turn, but die so easily it's not even funny.

There are much worse units than Nils/Ninian. Seriously, look at half the prepromotes.
If we did look at the worst, we should probably do it unit type by unit type. I imagine certain groups are going to have bloody battles (Mages, Lords, possibly Cavaliers).
Personally, I think Isadora's the worst unit. The last thing this game needed was yet another cavalier with bad growths. She's only useable if you passed up four other characters. Even then, it'd make more sense just to train another Pegasus Knight, or use both Heroes, or have an empty hole in your roster...

Nils/Ninian dont die that quickly, they fact that they do not need Skill or Strength gives them over the top Speed and Luck. Completely objectively I'd say Karla is the worst unit. Comes at Battle Preparations, lvl. 5*, bad starting stats, bad growths, ridiculous joining requirements, and she is a Swordmaster.

Oddly enough.. I'm going to have to agree with Alan on this one. She also doesn't have decent equipment to give you, like Renault does. Last thing we need is another Wo Dao at that point. and she pretty much forces you to use Bartre...

Okay...I get it. Guess you are right. When it comes to archers, I'd say that Wil is the worst. Rebbeca is simply so much better than him, being able to dodge 90% of the attacks made on her. Rath has the horse movement advantage on him, and I never tried Lyn with a bow.

In stats I'd say Louise is the worst, but the A Pent support will make you use her far more often then Wil.

Which is why I listed Wil as worst. Not even his supports can save him.

He does get Lyn, if memory serves.... But I think that's it... And even then it's not that good.
What about Lords? I noticed you all conviently skipped them...

Because it's kind of hard. In FE7, we have Lyn for speed, dodging most of the attacks thrown at her, and doing 2x hits most of the time as well, not to count the high critical rate. Then, we have Eliwood, who's good all around, meaning no weaknesses, but no strengths either. And lastly, there's Hector, the powerhouse, who can take anything thrown at him, and deal high damage no matter the weapon. Still, he's TOO slow to be overly powerful.
FE8, I don't know, because I only got to use Eirika for...1 battle? Meh. I just didn't like FE8, and turned to other games I had at the moment.

FE8 was rather disappointing. It had some good characters, but was entirely too easy.

Never really HAD to use Serra. So I never used her. I prefer being able to kill than Heal non-existant/really minor wounds.

Serra's a better unit, but Prissy's better yet...
