Ever since I got internet back. Which order do you think I should play them in? Here's the list:
Lufia - The Ruins of Lore(GBA)
Dynasty Warriors Advance(GBA)
Final Fantasy VI Advance(GBA)
Chou Mahou Taikiri WOZZ(A patch was just released to translate it. English name is "The Magical Land of Wozz". SNES)
The Legend of Zelda - Parallel Worlds(SNES. This is a complete hack of "A Link to the Past". And it's WAY harder too)
Super Metroid Redesign(SNES. Another complete hack. I think it's obvious which game does this come from)
Legacy of Kain - Soul Reaver 2(PC)
Chrono Cross(PSX)
I think that's about it... Just pick an order. If you want more info on any of the games, just ask.

Hey, how do I get the "The Legend of Zelda - Parallel Worlds", and "Super Metroid Redesign" hack, or whatever it is. I'm always up for a challenge. As for order, I don't know. Zelda's always been a good series, and so is Metroid, but I also like Chrono Cross, and Final Fantasy's generally pretty good. Legacy of Kain - Soul Reaver 2 looked pretty cool as well.

FF VI advance is the best game in existence. Period. I'm also a renowned expert. Seriously, I'm one of the major contributers to the Gamefaqs board on that one... Chrono Cross is an awesome game, and you won't regret playing it. The Magical Land of Wozz sounds like an Oz ripoff, but still really cool. I've heard good things about the Legacy of Kain series. LOZ is better than Metroid, so that would be next... then metroid Dynasty Warriors was barely good on the PS2, and probably is worse on the GBA I've played Lufia, if it's the game I'm thinking of, and was horribly disappointed. You might like it, but I didn't.

I played FF VI for SNES. I'd start the GBA version, but I'd like to know the differences between both. I know that Vanish-Doom doesn't work anymore. That aside, the music will be of a bit higher quality, and the script will be a thousand times better. Also, magics are probably changed from "Fire2" to "Fira". But what else?
I did play the first...10 minutes(?) of Chrono Cross before dropping it, but that was because the game locks up when trying to use Elements on ePSXe 1.60. I was just waiting to ahve internet to get the previous version of the emulator so I could play it correctly.
Wozz is actually a very weird RPG...3 humans are called from the human world to save Wozz, the land of magic. And the game's quite funny too. Music and graphics are quite good for the SNES as well.
I played Soul Reaver 2 long ago, but it was VERY difficult, so I had to stop shortly after getting my second weapon upgrade. I know it's a good game, but I don't know wether I'll like some of the other games better.
I've tried both hacks out, and hell...they are awesome. TLoZ - Parallel Worlds is like if you could have ALttP with an extremely high difficulty. Imagine ALttP's last dungeon, and you only have 3 hearts and no equipment. >_<
Super Metroid Redesign makes Samus fall faster, makes it so that you can't wall jump everywhere, and adds a couple of power ups, other than changing the ENTIRE GAME. Quite cool. Didn't get to see how hard it was, but I'm already lost. >_>
I have Dynasty Warriors 4 Hyper for PC(the same as the normal 4 for PS2), and I like the game. It's even better when you have someone else to play with, although the GBA version doesn't have a 2-player mode.
And...you must have tried the first Lufia, which is called "The Fortress of Doom". Do yourself a favor and try "Lufia II - Rise of the Sinistrals". I doubt you will ever find any game with harder puzzles than Lufia II.
Anyone else wants to give me their opinion?(or if you would like to state a second opinion yourself, Matthias, I'd greatly appreciate it)

Sorry Dray, hadn't seen your post. >_> You can get hacks, translations and such for a LOT of games here: www.romhacking.netLook at the left for "Rom Hacks", and look for them in the SNES section. Be sure to read the "Read Me"'s each patch have, though. You will need the american(U) rom of "A Link to the Past", and the (JU) version of "Super Metroid". So far, in ranking order, Chrono Cross seems to be up top, followed by FF VIa, and then come both Zelda and Metroid. Soul Reaver 2 after that, and then comes the rest in no particular order. Anyone else would like to share their opinion?

I fell the same way about Lufia one and two as you do, Matis. Now, I haven't played the one for Gameboy, but it might be good.
I have Dynasty Warriors 3 extreme, that is a very fun game. I've heard that the GBA DWA, didn't go over very well.
Final Fantasy VI was great. Final Fantasy VI Advance was better. You can choose whoever you want to fight the final boss with, and everyone has an ultimate weapon.
Never heard of Wozz.
I haven't played a hack before, I was going to soon.
Legacy of Kain is awesome, but really hard.
Chrono Cross is awesome, but the playthroughs get boring after a while. Unlike Chrono Trigger.

Well, I got an interesting hack... but I have no clue how I use this IPS thing. Can someone please post instructions on how to use IPSWin?

The music isn't better in Advance. Worse if anything. But the GBA version is better. Stats now actually do something and the script is very much improved. What's your username at Gamefaqs Matthias? I post there very often too.

The Gameboy one, to be honest, sucks. Gades says something like "This is my FRUE power!". -_- I tried Dynasty Warriors Advance, and yes, it sucks. You only have like...13 characters? Bad graphics, even worse gameplay. That, and anyone can equip any weapon of the type they use(Zhao Yun can use all the spears, pikes and scythes). The music of the GBA versions of the other FF Advance games did sound better than their SNES counterparts. I played the first 5 minutes or so into the game, and the Battle and Boss Battle music already sound better. And Terra's Theme(the worldmap) sounds the same as it did in the SNES. Once again I must say: Check the game out. There's a 100% translation patch at www.romhacking.net, and the game is quite good. Remember we are talking about Legacy of Kain - SOUL REAVER 2 here, not the Blood Omen one. And Chrono Cross seems to be still atop my list...

SNES has better audio then GBA and that's a fact. But it's the slowdown that itches me the most.

I know that the SNES sound capabilities are higher. In fact, the PSX sound chip is basically the SNES sound chips with barely any modifications.
However, sound-creating and compressing has improved since then, which turns out into better quality.
But anyway, might I ask which slowdown are you talking about? People always talked about slowdown in FF IVa and FF Va, but I never noticed them(even when comparing it side to side with their SNES versions).

The SNES Lufias were some of the best RPGs I've ever played. I'm still looking for a cheap copy of Lufia 2. The GBC game was also really good, though really easy. Twelve characters in one battle, that's crazy in any RPG.
FFVIA has a new translation, so it comes off different. They've also added four new espers, a bonus dungeon (that's killer hard, I actually gave up... but I WILL FINISH!!!) The music did drop, due to the fact you're playing a GBA game as opposed to a SNES game. I found it to be an improvement over the original, though I did miss some of the old lines. You can find more exact data on Gamefaqs. I didn't notice any "slowdown," but I've played the PSX version, and anything's better than that.
Chrono Cross is still awesome.
I pride myself on being accurate in nearly every other case ^.^

I don't think so, and if they do they didn't care mentioning it. But I doubt they would have left out Super metriod.
