Canas is "good' solely on the fact that he's the only one who can use a certain type of magic. He's not exactly that great a unit without that fact.

And now you're saying that Dark magic isn't worth it, despite the not so great stats Canas has?

He's a magical tank.

So is Pent, they are only two points apart. Pent is also faster and more powerful. And he doesn't need training and has a A in staffs.

But Canas has the best spell ever, I can't remember the name for some reason, but it negates their resistence. I rather have that then another staff user.

Luna, yeah it is a good spell but Pent is better then just Luna. And what if Canas gets crap for Magic? Luna also has 0 might.

Luna is good, but it's not as useful. And what are you all, pikablus? PREPROMOTES ARE NOT THE EMBODIMENT OF SATAN!

Marcus is, though. >_>
And I just didn't like Pent as much as I liked Canas. Perhaps by the time I had gotten Pent, I had already used Canas enough for him to not only kick ass, but also to like him as a character himself.

Marcus is actually useful in the harder modes, and he's a decent paladin. He has the highest resistance of all the cavaliers. A good argument can be made that says he's better than Lowen.

I never played Hard mode. Couldn't be arsed. And in the normal mode he hogs all the experience early on.

Nino sucks. Do I have to type up some big post, or can I just say it short and simple?
Nino sucks. She is a waste of time to train, and is only useable on light. But, by then you have the best magic user in the game. Athos. Why bother using nino, when it's just going to be wasted, because nobody can top an archsage?
