Nino is technicaly a lord. she is really good 2 Nino is a mage, no doubt about it. And she is not worth it.

Yes, but in the storyline, Chapter: Night of Farewells, Soni said that Nino is really from a noble house in Lycia, and the best magic users. (im not basing her awesomeness on that, though)

Pent, Louise, Klein, Clarine, Priscella and Raven are also of a noble houses and being a Lord says nothing about your stats. on the contrary lords usually are mediocere look at Roy, Eliwood, Lyn and other former FE lords and before you say it Fe8 and Fe9 are too easy for it to matter. Hector is pretty much an exception. And Nino isn't the best of the magic users, not even in stats.

Eliwood and Roy are good! D:< Sigurd was good too!
Although Marth, and probably some others were not.

Who ever said Nino was good? I totally skipped her when I went to decide on who was the best mage. I considered ERK before her(who has probably the worst name ever thought for a VG character).
Besides, barely anyone can top the ArchSage. He can kick oh so much more ass than most of the warriors that it's not even funny. As a second note, only Florina did damage to the dragon, besides Lyn, Hector, Eliwood and Athos. She had capped Str and the Rex Hasta, though.

Roy is bad, average growths, extremely late promotion time and Eliwood just to balanced for own good.

Roy's damn good for a lord. His late promotion sucks, but he's still a good lord. Nino's a great unit, if you want to babysit her for several chapters and have her hog nearly all the exp. Oh, and cookies, I'm prepromote hater. I am going to have a game where I use Marcus, Pent, Louise, and Isadora, though, because I need their supports (mostly for Sain...)

I admit I don't like prepromotes that much, but I have my reasons for doing so... besides, I already backed out of the whole mage thing. i was simply stating a little about Nino, who is a good unit, but comes in way to late to be useful....

Just like Athos. Athos kicks MAJOR ass. But he's only usable for a few chapters, which really limit his overall usefulness.

Well, like you would support a character that is only there for what? 3 chapters at most?

But Athos doesn't need training. You have to mess up your Tactics rating to be able to use Nino.

Once again, I never really said that Nino was good. All I said was that Erk was good for the first few chapters, and that Pent was also very good, but I prefer keeping my old units, since they always seem to do better in combat, even without supports.
