"Koroda you say?" responded Wein inquisitively. He'd never actually visited Koroda when he journeyed to Nabata, but he had read much about it. Many of the sculptures in the Lowell household were fashioned by artisans from Koroda. "I know quite a bit about Koroda, although I've never been there. We used to have a lot of Korodan artwork in my estate until..." Wein trailed off. The destruction of his home, although not quite as sharp a pain in his heart as before, was still a sore subject.
"Anyways, if you can make bows, could I be bold enough to ask for one myself? If you have the free time I supposed. I'd be able to reimburse you. I may be a noble without an estate, but I've still got some money on me," said Wein, shooting Valcrist a grin. He patted the boy on shoulder, seeing his redness. "No reason to be embarrassed. I'm not an expert on smithing, but even I can see you're talented."

"Yeah, Koroda." He repeated with a small smile. He used to own his home's artwork? He felt a little proud right now, which was odd after all the drama from before. He eased up a bit, Wein didn't seem as intimidating as before. It might just of been the whole "Raining death from above" and "friends with Yaen" that were combining to make him seem scary.
"I can make bows, yes. But... you might want to find another blacksmith." He sighed to his self before turning his head up to look at the taller man. "I'm... not that good yet. It's not a case of humility, it's simply the truth. I was part of a team. My mom would make the items and I would take care of the designing and engraving and whatnot. I'm good at the small work, involving my hands." He stopped for a moment, thinking to his self. "Without her, my creations are brittle and easily break and aren't quite fit for battle. I'm still an apprentice it seems."
"But... when I do get better... I promise I'll make you one." This man was from noble upbringing, it'd be an insult to present him with anything less then his best work. "But... thank you for your vote of confidence Sir Lowell."

Yaen joined the group again, he looked better than before. But still, Arturia couldn't ease her worry, she wasn't sure what happened to him. She just knew, something wrong and he tried to hide it. If he needed some help, she would help as best as she could. He invited her to join his group to Sacae, she should repay his kindness.
The blonde cleric moved closer to the myrmidon, she wanted to ask him. "Uum...Yaen. Do you need help? I-I mean...you didn't seem well before." It was just her intuition, but she believed Yaen needed help. She just couldn't leave someone who needed help.

Wein held up his hands in protest. "Woah, woah, please, just call me Wein. No 'Sir Lowell' necessary," he said, slightly flustered. It had been a long time since anybody had referred to him in such a way. He had practically given up his title when he had left home years ago. Not officially of course, but when you wandered the world, you didn't expect people to treat you like nobility.
"Anyways, I'll be expecting that bow," said Wein as he picked up the pace, falling in behind Yaen. "It'll give you something to work towards. Everyone needs a goal, don't they?" Wein knew he did. His entire life had been based on a goal. Now that his home was gone, he felt a little lost.

Yaen turned his head to look at the cleric. Why did she have to ask him that? Yaen had always been too proud to lie. But how could he worm his way out of this one? "I didn't? Well, I feel fine now." it wasn't a lie. He was feeling better. "Thank you for your concern, though." He added. Looking over to Valcrist and Wein, he smirked. "Talking business with my apprentice, Sir Lowell?" he asked, throwing in the Sir Lowell just to tease. He didn't know why, but he felt a weird sense of kinmanship with Wein. They hadn't know each other that long, but still. He wondered if Wein felt the same way.

"Oh, ok. I'm sorry Mr. Wein..." It wasn't much better, but... but... he couldn't help it. When he was talking to the archer noble, he couldn't help but feel like he had to be on his best behavior. He probably didn't intend Val to feel that way, but his buddy buddy kinship with Yaen only helped drive that almost intimidating feeling in.
"I promise it'll be a weapon to be proud of." He turned his head to Yaen, almost wanting to ask if he was alright. He chose not to though. Judging from the way he responded to Arturia, it wasn't something he particularly wanted to talk about... And Val didn't want to pry. He went back to his drawing, A goal, huh?

"My pleasure." She smiled to the myrmidon. At least he wasn't lying, it was good if he really felt better now. "If you need me, I will gladly help you." After saying that, she turned to the two people behind her. Valcrist and Wein seemed have good time together, maybe talking about Valcrist's drawing because she heard Wein said something about bow.
The blonde cleric just continued walking beside Yaen while looking to the vast plain.

Wein shrugged at Valcrist's form of address. Mr. Wein would have to do. It was then that Wein turned to Yaen. "It's always business with me, Mr. Yaen," replied Wein, joking with his Sacaen friend. He had only met Yaen back in Laus when they had "freed" him from those dastardly bandits, but it seemed a fair amount longer. The archer just seemed to get along with the swordsman, as if they had been friends since childhood. Wein scooted up next to Yaen.
"Valcrist seems more of an artist than a swordsman," said Wein in a normal tone of voice, but low enough that Valcrist couldn't really hear. "He's a good kid, though."

Yaen smiled and clapped Wein on the shoulder. "He is. And I'd rather have an artist as an apprentice than a swordsman." he replied, keeping his voice low as well. "Swordsmanship is all about creativity. You don't have to be big or strong, you just have to have an open mind. And to be perfectly honest with you, I knew a kid who was five times worse than Valcrist, and he still managed to make a swordsman of himself. If he could do it, and I didn't think he could, Valcrist certainly can."

Arturia approached Valcrist, he was focused to his drawing. "How is your drawing going Valcrist?" She looked closer to his drawing, her impression was same like before, he had a talent to be a great artist someday. The swordman just needed more training and he would make a masterpiece someday.
"Oh, and I overheard you chatting with Wein before." She almost said 'Sir Lowell' but changed it to Wein. "Sorry, I didn't do it on purpose." The cleric smiled to Valcrist, she then walked next to him so she could get a good look to his drawing. "I want you to call me just Arturia not Miss Garland anymore. We are in a same age so no need for formalities." She smiled again.

"It's fine Miss Garland." He said absentmindedly over his shoulder as she approached, he held the book away from his face to get a better perspective. He might have to redesign some bits, as from the looks of it the arrows might not fly straight. That would be a bad thing, nope he'd have to do some redesigning. "Erm... maybe not so fine. Well anyways..." He snapped the book shut with a small sigh. "I'm not seeing who it's for for a long time, if I ever see her again, so I can wait."
He heard her ask him not to call her Miss Garland... which he could do. Yes, it shouldn't be that hard. "Ok... Arturia." He smiled. "Erm... if you don't mind me asking... Arturia, how old are you?"

"My age? I am still in my eighteen now. Next month I will turn nineteen." She looked into his eyes and answered the question. "How about you? I bet you are in same age with me, or just one year younger maybe." She tried to guess Valrist's age, he seemed around seventeen, but appearance could deceive us in many ways.
"Why do you ask?" She said.

"Hrm? Yeah, I'm seventeen. You hit the nail right on the head there, my birthday's not for a while though." He laughed to his self. Almost nineteen? Hrm... that surprised him. She seemed so... mature. He couldn't believe they were almost the same age. "Good eye you have, guess I just kinda look like a whiny teenager, huh?"
"Anyways, I was just curious. You said we're about the same age, yet I can't help but feel like you're older then me. And I suppose you are, but I guess it doesn't matter."

"Yes, our age difference is just one year. It doesn't matter." Seventeen? She guessed right. Strange, sometimes she could do this, guessing something she didn't know. Maybe because she had great intuition or just because of luck, she didn't know either. "Do you ever go to Sacae, Valcrist? It is my first time, but I already love this plain. I never have this feeling anywhere. The calmness, the wind, the boulders, everything is so beautiful." She smiled, this land really gave her peace into her heart.
"What do you think?" She turned to Valcrist.

It's just a year, but it felt like more then that. That was all, he felt young compared to all these people. He was the youngest technically, but he felt like a child while the rest were adults... "Nope, this is my first time. I was in Lycia this whole time, and before that it was nothing but deserts." He tried to smile, but couldn't help but feeling a bit home sick. These plains reminded him on his home, as odd as it sounds. It might be the fact that there's nothing as far as the eye can see except more plains, like the desert with sand.
"I like it too though. It's really quiet and peaceful." He was used to quiet and peaceful, it was loud and exciting that was new to him... But that cave was a bit too exciting, calm was a nice change of pace.
