(OoC:Must... resist... urge... to... say... 'I've kicked whole sale ass for less')
"I'm not the one you need to seek for closure. I took a swing at you because you were in the way, it wasn't anything personal. That... girl posed a threat, she was the same as Aerious. He planned on killing a lot of innocent people, the same thing happened to MY people."
Kenshin got in a defensive stance. "If you're here for closure then come at me."

Yaen narrowed his eyes. "Still justifying yourself with the same old lie, I see." he stated in disgust. "You and I both know that was not the case. You two constantly jabbed at her, insulted her, all but spit in her face just because she was different. She reacted the same way you would have reacted. It had nothing to do with how dangerous she was, or what she might do. You just wanted a reason to cut her down." He accused.
Yaen positioned his sword so that he held it directly infront of him, pointed at Kenshin. "But it is not my peoples way to argue. We prefer sharp swords over sharp tongues." Yaen fell silent, and he approached Kenshin. He was slow, and he did not take the direct path towards the elder Sacaen, rather stepping from side to side as he drew closer. Bringing his sword to his left side, he swung upwards in a diagonal arc.

Kenshin had stepped back as Yaen had swung his blade, placing his blade between Yaen's sword and his body. "We both know looks can be deceiving. To most I'm a hero but we both know what I really am."
Kenshin had hopped back a few feet,"Yaen's movement has really improved, year ago he would of ended on his face." as his foot landed he pushed back jumping back a few more feet. He had lunged forward towards Yaen with his body starting with a spin, swinging his sword towards Yaen.

Yaen brought his blade down to grip it against his side, gritting his teeth as Kenshin's blade collided with his. This is different than my usual fights. He's not just strong, he's skilled. he thought as he pushed Kenshin's sword away, side stepping around him.His back to Kenshin's, he let his right hand drop from the blade, and swung it as he turned towards the Crimson Demon. His heart was pounding. His thoughts were shooting off one after another. His face was stoney hard, but inside, he was feeling an amazing sensation. Excitement. Finally, after five long, painful years of honing his style, Yaen could truly see the extent of his own skill. Their sword styles were radically different, and while Yaen's had a foundation in the style of the Amasi, he'd largely had to develop it himself. If he could hold his own against a master swordsman the likes of Kenshin, with a style partially his own, it would be the greatest testimony of his abilities.

He's far more skilled than I gave him credit for. I've become soft since I stopped fighting in any war, he's been training this whole time and closed the large gap between us.
When Yaen was behind Kenshin he had started to move forward then turn around. Yaen was already attacking by time Kenshin had him in the corner of his eye he had no time to counter attack.
If they both took turns being the attacker it would end up in a stalemate. Kenshin spun the sword so the dull side was running against his flesh as he raised his arm to block the attack and stepped in. While going for the block he used his other hand to pull out the sheath and began to thrust it towards Yaen.
Kenshin had winced once the blades met, swords made better weapon than shields. It seemed like a smart idea before executing, but it would be worth it if he could keep Yaen on the defense. Even if it wasn't a fight to the death the duel woken the warrior deep within Kenshin. The title of demon befitted him, Yaen would get to see first hand what had been the last thing many had seen.

Yaen noticed something was up the moment his sword collided with Kenshin's. He reversed the grip. But why? He thought. Another movement caught his eye, and his eyes flashed to Kenshin's free hand. The scabbard! He sidestepped, but the scabbard still ran roughly against his side.
A trickle of sweat worked it's way down Yaen's face. If that had been a sword, this fight could have been over. He thought as he had to step out of the way of the scabbard again. He's putting me on the defensive. His attacks are so rapid, I can't even get any distance between us. He thought as he dodged thrust after thrust, some of them grazing his side.
I can't keep going on like this! Fine, if he wants to play at using two swords, then so be it! Yaen thought, his right hand dropping to his shorter sword. In a reverse grip, he pulled it from it's sheath in a slashing motion towards Kenshin. If nothing else, maybe it would get him to back off for a moment.

Yaen's attack caught Kenshin off guard, shifting his body enough to avoid being cleaved in half Yaen had cut off a decent amount of split ends in Kenshin's hair. So he had learned how to fight with two swords, or is it some type of bluff? Well I'm about to attempt to call that bluff. Kenshin had backed off a short distance placing his sword back into it's scabbard.
This is going to leave me wide open, but without risk I can't win. He lunged towards Yaen drawing his blade in the process and swinging towards the man with a spin. Along with the spin he swung the scabbard in case he misses he can force Yaen back.

Yaen slid his feet apart and held up his swords, adjusting his right hand sword so it fit properly. Do you see it now, Kenshin? he thought to himself, observing the man behind a stone cold expression. This is what five years of sweat and blood have afforded me. The pain of setting my weak legs and making them strong. The cuts and pulled muscles from learning to fight with two swords. All for this moment.
Kenshin's attack was met by Yaen's right sword. There! He brought his left sword up to strike, but he caught the motions of Kenshin's other arm, and was forced to pull away, narrowly dodging another blow from his scabbard. He's catching on. He admitted, turning in mid-motion for a low swipe with his right sword. Not that I didn't expect it. He is the Crimson Demon of Sacae, after all.

Kenshin had almost dodged Yaen's attack, he took a slash to both legs. It may have been a mere scratch but it was deep enough to draw blood. He took a few steps back and sheath his blade and folded his arms. "This is the moment when I stop seeing you as an inferior swordsmen and start seeing you as an equal. Last time we fought you were barely able to stand on your feet without falling, now you're able to keep up with me. You've improved greater than any other swordsman I've seen, myself included."
