Butorega took one glace at Victor shirt and realized what had happened. “Tainted water”, spoke Butorega as he passed the Mercenary. “Sword we need to catch up with Aurek. The old man is not much for running and those soldiers probably will catch up to him soon. “
Butorega continued down the path till he hit the main road. He sprinted for a moment till he could see Aurek and the few soldiers that followed him. “Hay tin heads”, shouted Buotrega as he slammed his axe into the back of one of the soldiers. The man instantly fell to the ground as the brigand axe pierced his spine. The other two soon turned their attention to Butorega who was more than ready to take them on. “When we finish theses two we should be able to take a breather”, spoke Butorega to Victor as he charged in.

Yunneth watched the scene go down. At the moment there were two things that made Yunneth burn on the inside. Not being able to fight due to exhaustion. and Aurek making her look like a idiot. Once the fight was over, Yunneth stood where she had been and looks at the girls she has with her. Great...she has to play babysitter.
"...Alright you two. Listen up. I am going to be honest. You two annoy me. If I had it my way I would have said to hell with those three and go to Illia for some late research but it seems I cant. So this is how it is going to go down. Don't bug me. Talk when it's important. And if we are in trouble, hide and run when I say so. No questions asked. Any questions? No? Good. Now lets go to a inn so I can make a plan..."
Yunneth walks away with the two girls, heading to the inn.

As Butorega clashed into a soldier, Victor was right behind him. The soldier to the right of the brigand now was hit hard enough to smack the helmet clean off the soldier's head leaving an inch deep dent in the helmet from Victor's sword. Blood shot out of the soldier's mouth as it hung low. His jaw was now broken and he was screaming because of the pain. But, the soldier's pain would be end as Victor would do hard Horizantal slash across the soldier's rib cage and then a Veritcal chop, severing the off clean. It rolled down the street with Victor looking at the last one standing who was now backing away from the two of them and the two corpses to whom was his allies. Walking slowly towards him, he'd see the lance and shield come up. Victor stepped infront of Butorega to block the visual view of him. Lifting up his sword, victor rushed the soldier who was now against a building wall. The sword slid down the shaft of the lance impaling the the shoulder to which was holding the lance and would yell, "Finish him!" His sword was stuck in the wall with a crack running up the blade from the constint useage of it. Grabbing the arm with the shield, he'd push it to the other side leaving the front of the soldier defensless for Butorega to finish him off.

Lisa stood there amongest the crowd, she fell to dumb struck as the Zombie horde seemed to vanish. Her eyes went to the the Govenor who seemed to have done the unthinkable. Amazement fell upon her until she snapped out of it when she heard Victor, Aurek, and Butorega ask her on how she could let the people of Dragon's Peak fall to become the horrifing creature's fodder. Lisa was about to say something until she was stopped by the govenor accusing the people who saved her life of being murders. The three men fled from the scene and even killing a few of the soldiers leaving the crowed to escape capture and even the hangman's knoses. Shaking her head, she would begin to think of what is to become of them until she heard the magic user Yunneth talk. It annoyed Lisa to hear Yunneth calling her annoying. As the magic user was starting to walk away, she could see that she was having a hard time walking. 'Over exhausted. Might as well help her.'
Walking up to her, Lisa part and arm around her so she can put some weight off her feet. Before the arguing began, lisa spoke first. "You may call us annoying, but let me help you to a place to relax. Come, we will go to my father's Work shop. It's no where near the raging fires. You may be one for pride, but there is no harm in recieving help from others. Espically from people who live here." She'd aim the two towards the other side of town that hasn't been touched by the fires yet. Making their way to the shop that had a sign on it saying, "Aurora's Black Smithing shop". Leaning Yunneth against the wall, lisa would quickly take her key out of her pocket and unlock the door. Helping Yunneth again, the other girl opened the door for them and all three went into the Shop. Taking her arm off of Yunneth, she ran to the back where they kept a few chairs and brought one out for Yunneth to sit on.

Aurek dove into a charred building. Literally dove. Landing on his stomach, he skidded into a pile of ash. He didn't even care about the guards anymore. He was exhausted. Exercise had not been one of his priorities before. He was not in good shape. The guards were bound to catch up to him. He was a dead man. Of course, that didn't stop him from wanting to stay alive. Burrowing deeper into the remains of the building, Aurek attempted to conceal himself. It was a half-baked effort, but the best he could manage at the time. And then he waited. Unable to see, he focused almost entirely on his hearing. No one was even close to him as far as he could tell. Instead, there seemed to be the sounds of battle some distance away.
Crawling back out from the mess, Aurek peeked around the corner to see Butorega and Victor going at it with some guards. Handy fellas, choppin' down his pursuers and all. Smiling, Aurek made sure to make eye contact with each to let them know he saw them. Then he turned and continued running toward the mountain. His pace was slightly slower, but he had enough of a gap to know anymore soldiers wouldn't be able to catch him. Weaving through the wreckage, he finally came to the rock face. He wasn't sure why, but gut feeling told him something would be back here. And so far today, gut feeling sure was right. He began searching all along the wall. Unfortunately, it was incredibly smooth. Almost seamlessly so. The people here had done an excellent job of carving the mountain away as they expanded. So intent was he on his explorations that Aurek failed to notice the edge of city. Apparently, the ground back here was untested. A piece of rock gave way causing Aurek to lose his balance. Pitching forward, he thrust his lance and shield out haphazardly and struck rock, barely arresting his fall that would most assuredly lead to his death. As he was leaning out over the sheer drop though, he noticed a dark hole in the side of the mountain.
Pulling himself back up, Aurek checked around to see if anyone was around. No one was as far as he could tell. Axe and Sword would probably be showing up pretty soon. He decided to wait for them. However, there was some preparations that he wanted to take. Making his way over to the nearest remnants of a building, Aurek found the best hiding place he could. His lance, shield, armor: all of it was removed and buried in a pile of rubble. He was pretty much defenseless, but given his current state of exhaustion, it wasn't likely that having the weapon would really make a difference. With everything ready, he simply sat down, leaning against a wall, and waited for the other two or his doom to show up.

“Without wasting another moment Butorega quickly finished off the soldier. His axe cleaved into the man’s chest breaking the light metal armor like glass. The second soldier moved back in to attack the brigand. He did not expect the man to just suddenly give up the fight with him and rush off to kill his partner.
He rushed forward and stabbed forward with his shield up. The soldier was being very cautious. He just saw two of his friends fall and decided he would not be next. Butorega however took advantage of his fear and rushed the man on his left side. Butorega sudden movement to his left side caught him off guard. Butorega swung his axe and knocked his shield out of hand. “Die”, spoke butorega as he planted is axe into the man’s shoulder blade. Blood spilled over out and the soldier died. Butorega turned to look at sword, but instead caught eye contact with Aurek. “Over there”, spoke Butorega as he rushed toward Aurek position.
“Butorega followed Aurek path till they made it to the rocky area near the mountain. There he saw the man sitting and waiting for them without his armor. As Butorega arrived he immediately took a seat and took a breather. “Just one surprise after another”, spoke Butorega.

Pulling his sword out of the now dead soldier and building, Victor watched as the body just simply fell to the ground lifeless. For good measure, he picked up the barely used lance and looked as Butorega was now running towards where Aurek was who he also got a look at. Sheathing his sword, he followed behind the Brigand. As he ran, he kept his guard up to make sure that they weren't being followed. And to his surprise, he didn't see anymore soldiers. 'Must have been a scouting group. Old tactics.'
Finally they stopped and saw the old man sitting on the ground resting. Victor walked up to Aurek and stabbed the iron lance into the ground infront of him. The mercenary would then go to the wall and slide down it and sit on the ground to relax for the time that they had for the moment. Every joint in his body was aching, as well as the wound on his shoulder from the zombie bite. Cracking his neck, he'd take his sword out of it's sheath and lay it on the ground next to him. He looked at the two men who he was traveling with, as if fate had purposely done such. "Indeed Axe, so what is our plan now?"

"The plan," Aurek replied sarcastically, "is to sit here until we get killed." He stared at the two to give them a moment to mull over his words. Then he continued on. "Actually, you two are going to stand here, and I'm going to see if I can't get myself killed here." He honestly would have preferred sending on of the two out exploring along the cliff face, but honestly, the two could probably set up a better defense then he could. Aurek was proud, but he wasn't completely stupid. He was pretty well exhausted, and he looked like crap. Literally. Covered in sweat, soot, and dirt, he looked like he may have passed through the back of a poor horse. And he smelled like it to boot. "I need you two to stand guard while I check out a hiding place."
Using the wall as a support, Aurek heaved himself onto his feet. He was a little shaky at first but the short break had seemed to help, if only a little. Walking back over to the edge of the cliff, he leaned out more carefully. There were small outcroppings and cracks. He could probably do this. He slid his foot around the corner, carefully feeling for a solid foothold. His toes tentatively touched something that seemed solid. Slowly putting more weight on it, Aurek determined that he had successfully managed his first move. Next came a hand hold. Experimentally grabbing a protrusion, Aurek pulled himself around the corner. A breeze he hadn't noticed before swirled around him as he immediately looked down and just how far he would fall. The mountain sloped slightly, but if he lost his grip, Aurek would surely die. He hugged himself against the mountain a little tighter. Once around the corner though, the view was pretty decent. He could see several good places to move on to get to his destination. He was cautious though. Slowly, ever so slowly, he inched his way closer to his destination.
It felt like hours had passed, but Aurek finally reached the hole in the wall. It wasn't very big, in fact, it looked like Butorega would have to squeeze a little to fit into it. Aurek had room though. He slid into the tunnel without a problem. With one hand out, he began crawling forward, feeling everything around him. He was used to darkness after being blind, so it really wasn't that bad. As he ventured deeper into the tunnel, it began to widen around him. Crouching now, he began moving a little faster. And he smacked his face into the back. Rubbing his face gently, Aurek turned around. He was probably twenty feet from the entrance. A perfect resting place. Sure they couldn't stand up, but laying down seemed so much more inviting at the moment. Heading back out, Aurek inched his way along the mountainside once more. It wasn't as difficult as the first time. When he reached the corner, he peeked around it just to be sure. When it was all clear, he waved the other two over. It was about time for a well deserved break.

Butorega sat down and waited for Aurek to return. Small aches and pains started to appear throughout the brigand’s body. Now that he had lost his tension his body began to remind him of his mortality. As he sat there Butorega could hear the sound of soldiers passing by. They still seemed to be searching the city. It was only a matter of time before they would find their hiding spot.
Butorega drew his axe in preparation, but the sound of Aurek calling to him grabbed his attention. The brigand decided it would be better to follow Aurek rather than to fight more soldiers. He followed him down, what to Butorega seemed like a death trap, till he made it to the cave. The narrow opening was almost impossible for Butorega to fit through. Butorega had to first push his axe threw and then remove his coat. Only then was he able to get inside and still it was a bit cramp.
“Good hiding spot”, spoke Butorega as he made it completely through.

Victor leaned his head against the wall and began to get comfortable. Once or twice his eyes began to get heavy, but after the second time, he heard troops marching slowly in the streets of the city. 'Their getting closer now. Hope that old man has a plan soon before the Tyrant's blind mice gets here.' His eyes watched Butorega going towards the edge and disappearing from scaling the cliff face. Quickly getting up and moving towards where Butorega was last at. Peeping over, he saw where the large brigand slid into. A smile came across his face. But he'd look back and see the soldier's going from building to building now. Before they could see him, he followed behind 'Axe'. Placing hands and feet carefully so that he didn't fall.
He finally reached the small tunnel and slid in as well. He moved into the darkness, closer to the rest of them. The sheath on his back scraped the wall as he slid himself in the tight tunnel. 'Eh, no wounder why the old man chose here. No one will look for it.' He stopped when he felt Butorega next to him and when that happend, he sat down stretching his legs out as best as he could saying. "Better then us being out there now."

"It'll take a miracle for someone to find this place. They'd have to nearly fall off the mountain like I did to even see this place," Aurek responded. He was wedged in the back of the cave, leaning up against the wall. His whole body hurt and he was exhausted. A long yawn escaped his lips as he relaxed. "You two really should have left your weapons outside." It wasn't the most comfortable situation, but it sure beat being chased by idiots. A nap sounded really nice, but it was time to talk to the new guy, and get some stuff straight.
"So, my name is Aurek, the big guy is Butorega. I'd like to know your name, where exactly your from, and why you were in this place when all hell broke loose. And if I don't like your answers, Butorega can probably just shove you out the cave. And trust me, in case you didn't look down, you won't stop rolling till you hit the ground. And you'll be dead." It was impossible to see in the cave, but even if Victor could, he wouldn't see anything that would help. Aurek had an almost bored expression on his face. He really didn't care what the new guy's response was, but the fear of dying did tend to make people more honest. And honesty was key with Aurek.

“Sorry Aurek, but I can’t leave my axe”, spoke Butorega. “This axe has saved my life more times than I can remember. Leaving it behind would feel like leaving behind a piece of myself. Not to mention that would let the guards know that we came in this direction. A random axe near a cliff looks suspicious.”
Butorega frowned a bit as Aurek gave out his name. He did not like to just give out his name. A bandit’s best weapon was anonymity. It bothered him even more that Sword was from llia. When Aurek mention kicking him out the cave a sinister smile crossed the brigands face. Though in truth, he would not dare to kick sword out of the cave as a lost of an ally at this point could be deadly.

"Rather have my sword with me when not needed, then not have it when I really need it." Even though it was dark inside the cramp cave, he looked to the left of him as if to look at where Aurek was and then Butorega. The thought of him being pushed out came to mind, but it would also be a bad move on their part to push out someone who's been trying to help them. With a simple sigh, he would begin.
"My name is Victor Crowley, son of Drake and Elisha Crowley of Bern. My parents were traveling through Ilia when I was born. My parents settled down for a bit while I grew up. My father was in the military for some years before getting a wound which became infected since their healer was killed in his last mission. I was 18 when I joined the Ilian military to help support my parents who were not in the best of health. The day after I turned 21, my father past away from his old war wounds and I left the Military and unit I was part of. I took random jobs here and there. Once my mother past away, I decided to go traveling in Bern. To see where my heritage took me. I was on my way to a town called The Wyvern's Claw which is just a few hours travel from here. I decided to stop here to rest up and explore this famous city since my father told me stories of Ol' of when he was a child walking in the streets and seeing many Wyvern riders flying in the skies. But to my dismay, it wasn't as I hoped it was. Wyvern's Claw is the place my father first met my mother. So I was hoping to find out if there is anyone left of my mother's side their and to learn."
Victor just sat their stairing at the wall infront of him hoping he wasn't going to be pushed out, that would suck for him since he didn't want his journey to end their.

“So your parents are from Bern, but you grew up in Illia”, spoke Butorega. He kept his personal feelings of Victor military service to himslef. “Well just to keep with the way things are going I am Butorega, grandson of Alexander and son of Tera, my mother. My grandfather raised me to be a soldier of Bern and abandon me and my sister when we were sixteen. His reason he wanted to die as a warrior. That was four years ago. After that I left home and pretty much followed in his footsteps. I meet this loot near the edge of Bern and have traveled with them to we got here.”
“Well Aurek your up”, spoke Butorega.
