It was like music to Butorega’s ears a full out charge. Butorega followed behind Aurek as he broke throw the window. First went Aurek and then came the bandit. Once Butorega had hit the floor another guard had come out. The bandit did not give him a warm welcome. Butorega swung his axe penetrating the man’s rib cage and cutting into his spine. A good kill thought Butorega as he pulled out his axe and rushed after Aurek. Seed was of the essence in this kind of situation, well speed and placement. In the right position one man could hold up many men, but in the wrong position that one man was dead.
As they broke into the room Aurek gave the order to kill as you ran. Butorega smiled at the opportunity. Taking out groggy opponents was easy and normally would not peak the brigand’s interest However these were the same men that surrounded him earlier. The same men who tried to spear him to death. Butorega was more than happy to send them to the other world. Like clockwork Butorega swung his axe as he passed. The blade sliced into men’s necks, torsos, and one poor chap lost an arm. If he had more time he would have done a proper job, but stopping in that room meant pure death.
When the group finally got through the other door the guards were alerted of their intrusion. Butorega was tasked with clearing the stare case which was starting to be filled with guards. It was not a simple job, but Buto was the person to do it. The bandit charged the stare case where he was met with a spear cutting into his flesh. The guard was off a bit and only sliced the Bandit on the top of his left shoulder. The wound only pissed the bandit off as grabbed the spear with his left hand and cut the shaft with his axe. He then cut open the man’s neck with a back handed swing. Another guard stabbed forward with his spear from up the stair, but the bandit deflected it with the shaft from the first. The spear point stuck stabbed into the wall as Butorega hacked the man’s leg with his axe. The guard immediately fell over and crashed onto the stairs. Butorega pulled the lance out the wall and smashed the man’s head open with his axe.
The bandit was halfway up the stairs now. Another guard came rushing in with his spear. Butorega threw the lance forward making the guard give ground as he dodged it. Butorega was now on the second floor. The guard attacked with his lance, but the bandit hooked it with his axe. He kicked the man back into another incoming soldier. “THE STAIRS ARE CLEAR”, shouted Butorega as he picked back up the lance he threw.

Everyone started to run away from him and towards the Castle. Standing back up, he bolted after them. Once the Brigand cleared the window, Victor jumped through the window landing on his feet. His sword out and ready for combat. Following behind the group to make sure no one would come up behind them. Once through the first doorway, he heard the first of many orders to be said. As he past the gaurds who were still on their beds, his sword would cleave at the guards. Blood and body parts went across teh room as his sword had now become a meat cleaver in the hands of a butcher. With blood dripping down his sword, arms and even face they pressed onwards. Since Victor was the last one out of the room, he heard the guard across the hall way yell. Hoping that Aurek would have dealt with the man who yelled, victor dragged out a bed and placed it infront of the other door standing up and angled so that the one corner of the bed caught the corner in the ceiling which in turn blocked the door.
Nodding his head, he followed right behind Butorega, killing any of the guards that he missed or didn't finish off. Bodies and weapons laid across the steps making it a bit of a work out to get around, not including avoiding the flying dead bodies going towards them. Picking up one of the dead guard's shields, Victor made it to the second floor finally. And this is where the fun would start to begin as there was still some more guards like the two Buto. knocked over. Standing up, they would charge at both the brigand and the Mercenary. Lifting his shield up, he would stop one of the guards attack making him stop all together. Seeing the man still holding onto his Iron lance, Victor made a dash forward making the man hit a wall. Victor's sword drove right into the waist of the guard. With blood coming out of the guards mouth, victor pulled out his sword and slashed the throat, letting the dead body hit the ground.
But a shapr pain ran through Victor's leg. Once he looked, he saw that the second guard and stabbed him in the leg. Lifting up his bloody sword, he would cleave the lance leaving not enough of a shaft to attack with. The guard tried to rn, but victor ran after him bulldoging him down to the ground. Once down, Victor would begin to go beserk on him. First taking out the iron lance out of his leg and stabbed him through the back which stuck into the ground. Then taking his sword and began to hack at the guards body. Once done, Victor stood up with a thumbs up showing that he was good and it was clear to proceed. The dead guard's body was so badly mutilated, that others would be in shock that a human was able to make so much gore off one guard.

The guards were all groggy despite the clamor of battle ringing throughout the building. Yes, attacking just before dawn was certainly the best option. Aurek stuck the man in front of the door. Aurek's lance slid right through the ribs, puncturing a lung before exiting the back. Blood dripped from the lance as Aurek pulled in back out. With a kick, Aurek sent the freshly made corpse back into the room. By this time, a few had managed to grab lances and shields. Fortunately for Aurek, the doorway was too narrow for more than two to move and even then, only one could do so effectively. With shield raised and lance at the ready, Aurek held his ground. Protecting his vital organs was the most important. Small strikes found their way around his legs. Everything important was successfully shielded though. Of course, that didn't mean it wasn't still painful.
Every few moments, Aurek would chance a few thrusts of his own. Occasionally they would find their mark, and an unamored guard would go down. Unfortunately, there was always another one more heavily protected right behind his fallen comrade. Things were getting worse. Then Axe called that the stairs were clear. "Finally!" Aurek roared. Backing up slightly, Aurek ripped a lamp off the wall. Immediately, he threw the lamp over their heads into the room. Lowering his head, Aurek slammed into the group of guards, driving them back into the room. Already, the flames quickly were overtaking the room. With a gloating look, Aurek pulled the door closed and held it. The screams of the burning within brought a smile to Aurek's lips. Revenge certainly was sweet.
After counting to fifteen, Aurek released the handle and ran up the stairs. Wheezing once he reached the top the stairs, Aurek took a brief moment to survey his handiwork. Already flames could be seen pouring forth from the room. A few had managed to open the door and escape in time. They could be seen sprawled out on the ground, desperately gasping for air. Their fellows who were not so lucky ran about the place as if mobile candles, lighting the very ground they tread on. Flames began to spread throughout the lower floor. If the guards from the first room were smart, they'd leave from the windows. Even as he made that thought, Aurek could hear the sound of glass breaking. "Less trouble for us," was the only comment Aurek made as he turned toward the massive double door that led to capital side of the impressive building. Stepping over the mutilated corpses, Aurek quickly strode forward and pushed his way into the next room.
On this side, they were located just off to the right. There was another staircase much like the one they had just come up. This one led to the hacked up gate Buto had previously been working on the previous day. Also on the lower floor, were several unidentified rooms. Aurek didn't care about those. In fact, there was only one thing, or rather one person that Aurek cared about. And that woman was staring right back at Aurek. She was on the opposite side of room. There were two catwalks leading around the edge of this center area, both of which led to the balcony out front. Both ways were guarded by six heavily armored knights each and four bowmen were with the governess. She had quite the security. The right side was closer so that was the best choice. "Move cautiously," was the order Aurek gave as he began advancing.

A grin crossed the brigand’s face as he saw the knight forming up on the catwalk. This was not a situation that caution would give you the advantage. The knights were heavily armored and the archers would give a formidable advantage. Normally Butorega would be daunted by this task however the time of day gave them an advantage. The knights were obviously the governess main defense. Either they stayed all night watching her room, or just got up to deal with the threat either way they were not at their beast.
The bandit took a deep breath. It was time to show what he was made of. Butorega charged forward with his axe in his right hand and the guards spear in his left. He let out a blood chilling roar as he approached knights. Butorega adrenalin was pumping. As he approached the knights moved to raise their shields. The Bandit threw the spear just before the center knight rose his shield. The lance hit him right in the neck and sent him down in a bloody mess. His body blocked the way for the knight behind him to step up giving Butorega a hole in their formation.
Butorega dashed towards the left side of the knight’s formation. He chose that one because he as the furthest away from any help. The knight stabbed forward with his spear as the brigand approached. Butorega knocked the tip aside with his axe however the glade still ended up cutting the bandit’s face. Butorega let out a roar as his axe slammed into the knight’s armor. The steel crimpled at the blow as Butorega hit the weak neck guard. All that zombie fighting had fine tuned Butorega’s aim. The second knight fell dead. Fear began to build up in the minds of the knights as for a moment Butorega’s eyes gleamed red. For them the bandit no longer appeared as a man. He was more life a wolf and they were the prey.

Shaking his head for a moment, he would think that this was getting annoying. It seemed that she had an endless amount of warriors at her dispossal. Seeing the Brigand going in with fire in his eyes, an Idea would pop into his head. With the archers advancing forward, they now had Butorega in range of their attacks. Taking a few steps back, he'd lean himself as low as he could before going through with his plan. "Butorega, don't take this personal big guy." Before the Brigand could responde or even look at Victor, he would bolt towards him, jumping slightly onto the catwalk railing. Then jumped off that onto Butorega where he jumped off him and right towards the archers. Looking up, the archers were now taken back by shock as the Mercenary landed behind them. Taking his sword, he would cut down the first archer that was infront of him.
The next archer in his line of sight had knock an arrow and pulled back the string as he would fire the iron arrow right at Victor. Trying to move out of the way, the arrow would hit him in the left shoulder. Growling to himself, lifting his shield, he would bulldog this archer to the ground. Clenching a fist, he punched the archer right square in the nose. The force of the blow forced the cartilege to be shoved into the brain, killing the archer. Standing back up, he'd see the other two were now in between the brigand and the Mercenary. Since Victor and Butorega were taking care of the one catwalk, it forced the other knights to form around the governess. Dashing towards them, Victor would cut down one of the archers that stood their and bulldogged the last one with his shield into one of the knights making him stumble forward. Taking his sword, he'd press it at the base of the kneck and pushed it as hard as he could. The iron blade of the sword went throught he archers throat and into the Knight's. Standing up, he'd pull out the sword and looked at the next group since Buto would take care of the last knight on this side of the field.
Now with six remaining Knights to go, Victor would look back at Butorega who was now finishing the last knight off as victor would say to him. "How would you want to do this Buto.?"

"Lady Natasha, we must escape before the fire spreads too rapidly where we can't escape." Natasha had reached out and caressed his check. "Edward, I must address the people, please deal with the intruders down below then we can get to safety." Edward had grabbed his lance and helmet and made his was to the door. "My lady, they're not getting past me. I am a living wall of steel." Natasha had smiled "I know, that's why I'm sending you there."
Edward had moved as quickly as his suit of armor had allowed him to. He was able to get there before the last of his men where slain. "Go and aid those we can't escape on their own, these runts are mine." Twisting the lance around, he raised it above his head and aimed for Butorega and threw it. He kept his hand near the chain attached to it ready to pull it back at a moment's notice.

They were so close too! Aurek had smiled as he watched his two minions destroyed the enemies before him. This was going to a walk in the park. Literally, at the rate these two were making hamburger of the guards, Aurek simply had to walk behind them. Unfortunately, when Fate had finally decided to smile upon him, it also decided that the smile should actually be a smirk, and an incredibly spiteful one at that. Out came the general, wall of metal and all. With a thundering toss, Aurek watched his thoughts of revenge all just nopenopenope away. They were going to die. Of course, Aurek didn't like the thought of dying. But he still wanted to bring retribution upon the governess.
Since he had successfully not moved since seeing the governess, Aurek was able to ascertain that a second way was available to him. Of course, someone would need to distract the monster of a man in front of them. "I'm counting on you," was all Aurek said before he was sprinting around the other side. The four remaining knights had also decided this was the best route to take. Preparing himself for a skirmish, Aurek was surprised when they simply ran past him and into the burning side. Apparently, these soldiers had some loyalty to each other. Shrugging, Aurek continued his mad dash. Slowing slightly as he neared the door the governess had exited, Aurek prayed that he wasn't stabbed from behind. The general still seem preoccupied with the two, so out the door went Aurek.
Outside, a somewhat disturbing scene seemed to unfold. Darkness covered the land. The governess was facing a large crowd of people who seemed incredibly unruly. Behind them, the sun was just starting to rise, seeming to be drawn to the governess. With a sneer, Aurek approached, ready to make the crowd even more unruly. Yet something made him pause. He wasn't sure if it was a trick of the light and his bad eyesight, but the crowd seemed to be focused around a woman. Whether it was Yunneth, or Victor's woman, or Buto's, Aurek wasn't really sure. What he did know, was that she looked familiar. So, instead of simply stabbing her, Aurek decided to get her attention first. After all, something seriously could go wrong, then he'd have some really pissed guys coming up behind him no matter what happened back there. "Hey lady! Why don't you explain yourself before I gut you?" he yelled.

One knight left thought Butorega as the knight charged in to attack with his spear. The brigand dodged to his left side wall. Before he could counter attack the knight slammed his shield into Butorega. The knight stabbed once again at the brigand. This time however Butorega uses his axe to knock the spear point away. Instead of letting the knight bash him with his shield again Butorega pushed forward. With the force of his whole body he pushed the knight back slamming him into the rails on the catwalk. The steel poles bent under the pressure and the knight fell clean off the walk way.
The bandit turned around to face the remaining men when the general walked out the door. The man was a daunting figure. The knight pulled back his weapon and Butorega realized that he was going to attack. The bandit rushed over to the dead corpses and grabbed the knight’s shield. He turned just in time as the lance smashed against the thick metal. To Butorega’s great surprise it pierced through the steel shield, but luckily stopped before hitting his body. “That was close”, spoke Butorega as he threw he shield away. He then charged forward closing the gap between him and the general. Butorega took a swing at the man with his axe.

As Victor was about to charge ahead, he would stall his movement as his eyes would widen at the sight of the General again. It had seemed that these two causing hell was more then enough for the visit of one of the Governess's strongest units. The lance went past him as it was intended for Butorega. Reacting without thinking, Victor would take his bulky Iron sword and would drive the blade into the gaps of the chain making the lance grounded for the time being. With no sword, the mercenary would lift up his blood stained shield and charged in after Butorega was to strike the massive man of steel. Running at full speed, he was hoping that with his speed he would atleast make the General move backwards leaving a weakspot into the armour. The collision was made and Victor stumbled backwards, if his plan worked Butorega would see the dent in the armour making it a weak spot to attack.
But inside the crowed, in the center of it laid on the ground Lisa Aurora. It had seemed that she was caught for aiding a dark art user that was to be blamed for bringing the dead into the city. Coughing blood every now and then as the crowed roared for justice to be done. The only thing she could do at the current time and moment was to lay on the dusty ground curled up into a ball.

Butorega’s strike was blocked by the general with ease. However victor was able to capitalize on Butorega’s assault by stabbing the general’s chain into the ground effectively rendering his lance useless. With a quick charge he pressed into the general knocking the man off balance.
Now thought Butorega as he rushed in to attack with his axe. He swung with all his might at the gap inside the general’s armor. A loud bang filled the air as Butorega’s iron axe slammed into the general’s armor. The brigand’s weapon bounced back as if he had hit a wall of stone. The axe did not even leave a dint in the man’s armor.

Edward had dropped the chain as it had been bound to the ground, reaching behind himself he pulled the axe from his back. Losing one weapon had meant one of them had now became disarmed which made his job just that much easier. One of the three men had got past him, he had failed that much but he wasn't going to allow him to get close to Natasha, he would drag these three to hell with him if it meant keeping her alive. The smaller man had charged into him causing him to step back slightly as the other one went for a second attack, using the momentum of the push he pivoted on his heel and charged after the runner, shoulder checking the axe user he took off at full speed towards Natasha. His speed while wearing plate armor from head to toe was pretty impressive.
Natasha had walked over to the balcony ignoring Aurek's intrusion. "This is a glorious day for we will finally rid ourselves of those filthy undead and those who summoned them. This will be the day to go down in our history, we will not let them break us, no they are they ones who will be broken. At this very moment our valiant Edward is disposing of half if their pitiful group and we'll ne-"
There was a third person on the balcony, he remained in the shadow's with a hood up. Turning to Aurek "Lycia had been plagued by those monsters, I wasn't too far from Ostia when Kraft had it destroyed and they first appeared. It took me awhile to figure out what had caused them to rise in the first place, kinda ironic if you think about it. Abusing light magic in such a way to cause the afterlife to reject the body and bring it back to life as a mindless killing machine, who would have though a holy person could have such power? It's a shame I'm going to have to abandon this test village, enjoy sharing the same fate as Natasha." Before Aurek could react the hooded figure had dashed forward and shoved Natasha off the balcony to her death. The sun was glaring down at the right angle where nobody could see who had done this heinous act or where they had gone to. He wasted no time in his escape.
Edward had made his way to the balcony mere moments after the hooded figured escaped. There was only one person there, and it wasn't Natasha. Hearing her scream as she plummeted towards the ground and the cries of the crowd Edward rushed towards the ledge. He had seen her mangled body laying in a pool of blood, this couldn't be. Turning towards Aurek he spoke with anger and sorrow in his voice. "What the hell have you done to her?" He took a step, gripping the handle of his axe even tighter.

His jaw would drop as he saw Butorega was pushed off towards the side as if he was nothing and the speed of the General was unreal. Seeing that the armoured beast left his lance behind, Victor quickly grabbed it and would follow right behind the General. "Hurry up Butorega, he's going after Aurek!" Getting tot he top of the stairs, he would see the General leaning over the ledge looking at something the Mercenary imagined. But it became clear to him What that Thing really was. 'Oh no, this isn't going to end good...but what the hell. If I was able to make him take a step back at a full sprint by myself, what would it be like if me and buto both charged him?' Looking at Butorega, Victor would say lightly to him. "We need to rush him and knock him over that edge. Without that General, it'll make it easier for us to fight. Now lets go get him!" Victor would charge in at the General since he had only taken one step so far and was still lined up with that so called Balcony Ledge. With shield up and sword pointed ahead of him, he would make sure that he would slam every mount of strength he had to make this armoured man move, wrapping his arms around him after contact, he would begin to start his push towards the ledge, and hopefully, make the man fall right ontop of the dead Governess.

"Dang he is fast", spoke Butorega as the general took off after Aurek. "I know Sword", shouted Butorega back to victor. He had not memorized victor's name yet and settled with the code they set up. Butorega rushed after the general even thought the did not have any true plan to stop him. It was in that moment Butorega saw the general standing near the rail. A sudden and malicious idea popped into his head. The wolfish grin that usually dawned Butorega's face returned and with a vengeance.
Victor made the suggestion to rush him, and Butorega responded. "You took the words right out of my mouth", spoke the brigand as he increased his speed. Full force Butorega charged towards the general hoping to knock him over the edge.

Lisa kept herself covered as the villagers kept kicking at her. But all of a sudden, they stopped. The sound of a female screaming was heard and then a loud crunching sound. Peering through her hands, she looked throught he feet and legs of the villagers and saw the governess laying on the ground all broken. She had died on impact. A fast death, which was better then the body laying there gasping for air while bleeding to death. Since the crowed was dumb founded, she took the chance to crawl away and flee without being seen. Avoiding hitting anyone, she decided to stop and stand up. She went through the crowed as the villagers slowly made there way to their now dead leader. Looking up, they began to go on a frenzy. Not wanting to stay any longer, she made a dash back to the shop in the state she was in. With an arm over where her ribs were, she tried to stay in the shadows as best as she could.
Finally making it back to her family shop, she ran inside since the villagers dragged her out without shutting the door. Closing it, she would then begin to barricade the door with all different kinds of stuff from a table to barrels of water. Grabbing an Iron lance, she would go to the back of the shop and lean against the wall. Lisa would slide down it and spat out some blood. Yunneth would hear lisa mummering to herself as she had a tight grip on her new lance.

Edward has seen the two he was fighting moments ago appear in the door way talk amongst themselves for a second before charging towards him. He took a step forward and leaned down with both arms stretched, as they got close enough he grabbed both and flipped them over himself, over the railing. Fitting ending for those who helped steal his Natasha away from him and her people.
