"Right, well I'm Aurek Cordon. My father was a soldier who was complete trash. My mother was a dancer. I have no formal training in fighting with a lance. And I dragged this group here, because I was blinded during a fight in the arena and wanted to see a doctor. And it worked. My eyesight's almost completely restored now. Which is pretty handy, I have to say." It was short and all Aurek was going to say on the matter. He didn't like his family, and he didn't like talking about them either.
"Now that we all know each other, and no one has died yet, we should probably rest up. I plan to attack in the dark just before dawn. The governess is going to pay for nearly having me killed. We'll meet up with the women when we can. If anyone has a problem, say so. I don't need you guys trying to be a hero in the middle of the fight. It's going to be ugly the way it is." Aurek grimaced as he relaxed. It felt good to have all his armor off and to stop moving. With the flood of adrenaline gone, all the aches and pains came crashing down on him. And a headache began to reveal itself. Apparently the treatment he had received was not without side effects. A light groan escaped his lips as he shifted himself in the back of the cave.

“A night raid huh”, spoke Butorega. “No better form of attack. Kills their numerical advantage and gives us the edge in experience. I have engaged in more than one assault under the moon light” As Butorega finished speaking he let out a loud yawn. The brigand shut his eyes and began to slip into dream land. Blood would soon be spilled and not the kind that is already dead. The very thought of battle seeped into Buotrega’s dreams. His mind ran through tactics and situations as a sinister smile crossed the brigands face.

Victor would nod and would also fall asleep with his sword in hand.
Mean while
Back at the Smith shop, Lisa was pacing back and forth in the front of the store thinking. Both her companines were asleep and didn't say a word to each other. Her mind was racing on what is to happen of Dragon's Peak. Looking outside, the massive aura of the fire was turning even the darkest of nights bright. Shaking her head, she would go to the shelf where all the lances were kept and grabbed a slim lance. Sitting on the counter, she prepared herslef for any thieves to break into the shop that was her's by right now.

"Happy go lucky fools," Aurek muttered. Did they even realize there would have to be a night watch? Then again, it probably was around three or four. The cave was dark enough to block out the sunlight, and they were all exhausted enough. With a deep sigh of relief, Aurek decided it was best to just fall asleep as well. They'd probably wake up early. Which was good, because Aurek knew he'd have some serious aches and pains to work out. Without any further ado, Aurek curled up in the fetal position and fell asleep. It wasn't the best conditions, but the old man was so exhausted, there was little he could do. There was a mess to be made in the morning, and by golly, Aurek was going to be ready for it.

Yunneth didn't want help. She didn't want anyone's help. She went through most of her life with out help. So why start now? Yunneth honestly didn't get it. Everyone wanted to help her. When Yunneth didn't eat or when her energy began to deplete, Butorega helped her. And now this woman was helping her. Why? Once they were in the house, Yunneth sat on the chair and heard the decree made by the woman. Yunneth sat there with her hood over her head and sighed. It seems now she was being hunted for.

Lisa had a bad feeling come over her as she heard many people shouting in the streets further down from them saying, "Get the witch!", "The gold is mine!" Standing up, she quickly ran over to Yunneth. She woke her up by violently shaking her and placed an index finger over her lips and would whisper. "It seems they are looking for you. There is a hiding spot my father has made incase the city was to be invaded. Behind the counter, under it, there is three floor boards that lift up. Get under there and Do Not make a sound. Don't say a word now, just go." Lisa, went over to the front door and locked it. If Yunneth didn't move fast enough, Lisa would help her by getting her around the counter and under the floor. Putting the floor boards back, Lisa would go into the back and start up the furnace as if she trying to stay busy making weapons.
Yunneth can hear the sounds of the black smithing hammer hitting the heated metal and the qucik cooling of the blades hitting the cold water. Lisa was hoping that this plan was going to work so she had to kill the fear with her body keeping busy. With her hands, feet and eyes always on the move, the fear swept away like water in a stream.

After being asleep for an hour or so, Victor woke up. His body was screaming at him to go back to sleep. But like in the military, sleep was only tempurary. He made his way to the entrance where he would be near the entrance, taking in a deep amount of fresh air into his lungs, he let it out slowly and quietly. He dare not wanted to wake his companions. A slight yawn escaped his mouth as he looked into the abyss of night. Cawling back in, he found his spot since it was still warm where he sat at. Taking his place again, he would go back to sleep for a little bit more, now forcing himself to sleep.

For a brief moment, Aurek panicked. When he opened his eyes, darkness surrounded him. Immediately, he thought he was blind once more. He couldn't even see his hands directly in front of his face. "Deep breaths," he told himself to keep from panicking. Once calm, Aurek realized it must be dark outside. It was time to punish the governess. "Wake up you two," he said. "C'mon, get up. We've got things to do."
They were going to have to make a plan, of course. And Aurek had to make sure these two meat heads stuck to the plan. "We're going to attack the capital. We can get Yunneth and the other two before or after we pay the governess a visit. I'll leave the choice up to you two." Aurek knew people liked to have authority, so he let them pick things that were unimportant. It gave lackeys a sense of purpose. He continued on, "The search for us is likely still happening. We'll have to eliminate any guards we find, as quickly and quietly as possible. Stay in the shadows. Questions?"

“Time to get to work then”, spoke Butorega a he reached into his back pocket and pulled out a black scarf. Using his memory of what his face looked like Butorega tied it over his mouth. The move was less about hiding his face and more of keeping himself from yelling. Butorega had made it a habit to yell when he fought. He needed something to remind him not to do so. “We can find them later”, spoke Butorega in a muffled tone. His mind was now on getting payback.
“After several minutes of squeezing and one near cliff fall later Butorega was outside at the top of the cliff. He drew his axe from his side and pressed his back against a wall. Most of the village was burned from the fire. Butorega counted themselves lucky that the building they had his back to was blocking the view. “

Victor was already awake since he couldn't get back to sleep. His left ear twitched when he heard Aurek almost have a panic attack. Not knowing why, he didn't want to know either. Atleast for now that is. Victor remained quiet as he had to crawl his way to the mouth of the cave. Almost losing his grip a couple of times, Victor finally made it to the surface and saw the sight of the city. Shaking his head, he thought on how much this was a waste. His sword stayed in it's Sheath as they made their way through the different streets and some empty buildings that haven't managed to catch fire yet. For right now, Lisa wasn't on his mind. The only thing that was, was to see what is really going on and why the hell they are being hunted down for trying to survive from an undead attack.

Aurek carefully crawled out of the cave, following the other two along the cliff edge. It was slightly easier, since Aurek was used to moving in the dark. Plus, he had partially memorized the really good places for hands and feet previously. When he finally made it back to solid ground, a light sweat had broken upon his brow. Stretching, Aurek took note of how sore he was. Surprisingly, it wasn't quite as bad as one would have guessed. A few twists, a couple pops, and a sigh of relief were all it took for Aurek to feel better. Carefully, he moved forward in the dark, cautiously moving his feet as if he was blind once more. Tracing his thoughts back to the previous day, he located where he had hidden all his gear. Carefully and as quietly as possible, he reequipped himself. His armor felt like it had taken a serious beating already. Time to give it more.
"Alright, let's go," he whispered into the dark. Some moonlight gave the others outlines, but it wasn't enough to distinguish features. A slight breeze carried the smell of smoldering buildings. Aurek huffed. He was doing way too much these last few days. In a crouched run, Aurek began moving amongst the wreckage of buildings. Torches carried by the patrols were few and far between. If they moved fast, they could make it through the dark without even running into one of the patrols still out looking for them. Slipping behind cover as necessary, Aurek closed the distance to the governesses' mansion as well as the barracks for the soldiers.

As they drew closer the question of how were they going to get in kept falshing in Butorega's mind. Sure they could just break the door, but that would draw the attention of the guards. They could shatter a window, but that would do the same. The only salution that came to Butorega's mind was climbing to the top and enteirng trhough a windo near the roof. There would be less guards up there and they could probably reach there target quicker.

Victor simply followed behind and did what they did. Keeping low and quiet. He thought they might get caught from time to time, but surprisingly, they didn't. The sight of the Mansion getting bigger as they made there way towards it. He had his sword sheathed since he didn't want his sword reflecting any light to give them away. While they moved, he had a grip on the handle so it didn't make any noise on his back.

Yunneth continued to rest until she was violently shaken by Lisa. If Yunneth wasn't so tired, she would have blasted her. Or at least yell at Lisa for making her hit her head. Soon Yunneth let it pass when she heard the crowds. "Get the witch! Bind her! Put her to the gallows!" That was what she could hear. Yunneth silently listened and went to the hiding spot in the floor. She was trying to move quickly but it was hard for her to walk. But once she got in and moved the boards over it was easy from there. Soon Yunneth feels around the room and finds a good place to rest for a moment. She hated how magic drains your body. It makes the user lose the pigment in their skin after a few years then if you over use it, it can end your life. Perhaps that is why she loves magic. It is a beautiful and deadly art. Better than any sword or lance art. Yunneth could hear the crowds above. Soon she stayed in one place and kept quiet.

"How are we going to address this? Watch." By now, they had closed within an acceptable distance for Aurek. The main problem was getting caught while too far away. Now, caution could be thrown to the wind. The governess was most assuredly on the second floor. Climbing could have been an option, but the lack of defenses and amount of time that would take was too much of a liability. This was a striking operation. Speed was of the utmost. As long as they got to the governess, Aurek was fairly certain they could use her as a hostage if things got out of hand. So through the window Aurek went.
When he was within 20 meters, Aurek broke into a full-blown sprint. He was coming in toward the back side of the capital which meant he was heading straight for the barracks. Straight into the heart of the enemy. It wouldn't be a problem though. As long as they didn't run into the general, everything would be fine. With shield leading the way, Aurek leaped and crashed straight through a window. It was loud. The landing was quiet though. A small "Oof!" was all that could be heard. Quickly rolling out the way, Aurek landed on the floor. Picking himself up, Aurek found himself face to face with a guard. Without a moment's pause, Aurek stabbed the unprotected midsection of the poor fellow. The shocked look on his face stared at Aurek as the body crumpled to the floor. Aurek simply sneered at the fallen form for a brief moment. And with that, he was already moving and shouting his orders.
The three had broken into a room filled with sleeping guards who were groggily coming back to the realm of the awake. One door was the only way out. "Kill as you run!" shouted Aurek as he stabbed another guard who had just sat up. Moving toward the door, Aurek noted that killing people who were waking up was a lot like fighting zombies: neither could do anything to protect themselves. Though these died a lot easier and for that Aurek was thankful. Before long, he was through the door.
Directly across from him, another door opened, revealing another sleeping quarters. "INTRUDERS!" a man shouted. Suddenly, activity could be heard from all around. Directly above them was probably two more rooms who were now aware of the situation. Or at least aware of a disturbance. Aurek still wasn't exactly sure where the governess or general was located but the second floor probably carried the answer to both those. One staircase off to the left was the only way up. And it was already beginning to fill with guards. That was definitely the way they wanted to go.
"Axe, clear a path!" Aurek yelled as charged the door directly across from him. He would stop reinforcements from this door for a short time. "Sword, follow him!"
